"Close to both the beach and Laguna’s main street is this small Thai spot, packed with regulars updating the owners on their kids in college and the new outfit they just bought for their dog. It’s good for an affordable post-beach meal - try the Tom Kha and the drunken noodles." - Jess Basser Sanders

Small, quaint Thai restaurant. Street or lot parking can be difficult during busy times. Because the restaurant is small, they offer limited seating. I was able to get a table quickly because it was after the dinner rush hour. Service was quick, and friendly. They have a good selection of traditional Thai dishes. Prices are high, probably because of location. I ordered Penang Curry with chicken. I requested additional vegetables, and was accommodated with a small up charge. The price for the dish was 20,00 and with the upcharge came to 23.00 It was served on a plate as opposed to a bowl, which I'm used to at most Thai restaurants. It was nicely presented, and came with jasmine rice, however, I could tell right away, it didn't have enough curry sauce for my liking. I ended up asking for more sauce because there just wasn't enough. It was also on the thin side. One way they can improve the dish is by serving it in a nice size bowl, and giving more sauce. I also think the the sauce could be a tad thicker. Making these adjustments would make the dish much better. Their sauce is very good, though the dish needs double or more of the curry sauce than it currently comes with. I also ordered desert, an inexpensive pudding. 3.00 and it was delicious. With tax and tip, my bill was just over 34.00

Google
Definitely a hidden gem!. Tried their fiery bamboo hands down the best thai curry ever tried in LA.🙌🏽🙌🏽 Even the mango sticky rice and spring rolls are a must try.

Google
Server was really nice! Thanks. The food.. soup portion - is good for one in our case. The house salad was ok but the dressing which tasted like a lime was really good. The dressing had a kick to it which was not over powering. I am really particular when it comes to peanut dressing but this spot has good peanut dressing/sauce that at least I am able to tolerate.

Google
The papaya salad was amazing. Yummmm! I got spice level 5 and it transported me back to Thailand. Also got yellow curry which was delicate and comforting. Thai basil fried rice was unique in flavor in the best of ways. I would eat here often if I lived here.

Google
This place is at really good location by the beach and offers wide variety of dishes. They also have dedicated vegan items that they can make. Would definitely recommend trying this out.

Google
Nice quiet place, good food, and relatively fast service.

Google
Did they physically move from around the corner? Doesn't really matter. Food is still fresh and tasty. However it could be more 'Thai' peppery 🔥 hot! Service is excellent. If the menu seems to rely too much on chicken as a protein, don't despair, they will easily accommodate any other choice of protein. They seemed to have a very lively take-away business on the Monday night we were there.

Google
Great little Thai restaurant in Leguna Beach. I had the Cashew chicken and requested a level 3 spiciness. It was very good and the prices are very reasonable. The service was good and we received the meals in a short amount of time. The restaurant was clean and had maybe 15 tables. There was no wait today when we went for lunch and they had a lunch menu with plenty of options.

Yelp
The best Thai food I've had in Orange County! It's a very small restaurant, with limited seating. We went on a weekend and it was rather busy but we were able to get seated quickly at the bar along the window. Service was excellent! Super friendly and attentive staff. The spring rolls were the best I've ever had in my life! Sooooo good! I feel like most places the insides are soggy and these were crispy and the insides were the perfect texture! The sauce was also delicious. We also got Pad See Ew and Pad Thai- both chicken. Really REALLY good & large portions which I was so excited about - because LEFT OVERS! I can't wait to go back and try other things! 10/10 recommend

Yelp
I love Thai food very much, I did try practicing from YouTube several channels so I could make this at home and I've been pretty good at it. In the past we have been to Thai Bros at least twice and loved their food but I forgot to write a review. Last night we went to them again and it was a true delight. Although they are so busy with take outs they run the place really efficiently, we were seated within five minutes. The service was very very nice and kind, the young lady was so friendly and polite, she answered my question about a certain tea I was looking for. Later her mother, a really nice lady chatted with me about their food and yes I had more questions and believe it or not she was giving me tips on how to cook Thai food. Lastly the seafood noodle dish was so good and so much that we had to bring it home. Btw the vegetable spring rolls were so so good and refreshing with unbelievably delicious sauce that after eating half of each roll we decided to ask them in a box so we can take home. We wanted to eat our main course and didn't want to fill up with the spring rolls because it was irresistible. Still the dinner was a big portion for us so we brought the leftover home. Excellent service, excellent food and great people and staff. A really nice and hard working family business. We will be back soon to try other dishes!

Yelp
This place has been around for at least 30 years in the same location. Obviously they are doing something right. However, it's super small inside so we usually just order take-out because it's easier. Prices are fair and portions are decent. I give the food 4.5 stars because it is really good Thai. The reason I give it only 3 stars overall is because the service really sucks and the owners aren't friendly at all. If you can get over they don't have to be friendly or appreciative of business because they are established and have good food, then this is a great place for Thai food!

Borneo G.

Yelp
We just ate here and OMG, it is really good. I ordered a pad see ewe with beef and my husband got the cashew chicken. I specifically asked for my dish to be spicy and it did not disappoint. I loved how spicy my noodles were! Also meat on both our dishes weren't dry and highly flavorful. Also the Thai iced tea was super good; I told my husband it's better than the tea at our local place back home in San Diego. I don't know how busy this place gets as we came here early but it's pretty small so keep that in mind. If we are ever in town again I'd gladly come back!

Grace H.

Yelp
Food was decent and portions were good as well. The interior of the restaurant was a little dark in the evening, so depends what vibe you're going for. Servers were nice and helpful.

Yelp
Laguna Beach, Ca. It is winter time at the beach on a week day (Thursday). Now is the window of opportunity to be able to walk into this tiny restaurant and get a table. If there is more than two of you, calling ahead is still advised, We have been coming here for many years and the food has always been consistently great and reliable. Usually we don't dine in because it's just too hard to get a table, but right now it's time to get our Thai Bros fix. As a bonus, parking is easy on these days (Mon. -Thurs.). This time we got the cashew salmon which did not disappoint. Along with that, the shrimp salad and the spring rolls. Everything was great as usual. If your opting for Pellegrino for a drink, it comes in a large bottle, about a liter maybe. Anyway, one bottle is most likely sufficient for two people.

Yelp
After a fun day at the beach with my friends, we were so happy to find a Thai place nearby! The ambiance was beautiful and service was so quick! Love how many vegan options they had! We all enjoyed our meal & will definitely be back soon! My go-to spot in Laguna now :)

Lawrence G.

Yelp
I am amazed we don't eat here more frequently! My aunt, cousin and family were in town. My aunt and I will seriously probably eat just about anything at least once. This trip however we had one vegan in the group and one very fussy 13-year-old. Everybody walked out satisfied. Tom Yum, Crab Fried Rice (with the rice swapped out for wide rice noodles), Garlic Scallops, Pad Thai. The server didn't bat an eye swapping out proteins or noodles for rice. Adding this to my date night collection right now. Perfectly seared, firm scallops on the Garlic Shrimp. Perfect texture on the shrimp, scallops and squid in the Pad Thai's. Even as regular spicy food diners, the only thing I'll change next time is to get slightly less than "medium" heat. They take their spice serious around here. This is a perfect example of why you want to get out a little - Especially for Laguna. Love it and ready to return!

Yelp
We've probably eaten here 10 times since we first tried it 3 months ago! I highly recommend our favorites; Bong (shrimp avocado rolls) drunken noodles with shrimp, PAPAYA salad (quite spicy but SO flavorful), pad see ew, mango sticky rice, Tom yum veggie soup, & Pik King (veggies in peanut sauce) which is my absolute favorite! The restaurant itself is small & cozy with very friendly staff.

Penney K.

Yelp
Great Thai Thai with shrimp. How about green payaya. Along with shrimp. Crying tiger with beautifully cooked steak and homemade salad. I like it with rice too. Yumyumyum place. Curry is really yumyumyum. I like it spicy. They deliver great food.

Cerise P.

Yelp
Such chill relaxing ambiance. Situated in the village, tucked away makes you feel as if transported to another place. Which is saying slot since it's in Laguna. I miss the white tablecloths though.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
I have never been to a place that nailed the drunken noodles and the green curry! I eat here about every 3 days

J B.

Yelp
Take out. Quality of food good. Cute little spot. Pad thai very good. Fiery bamboo curry good but the bamboo shoots were tough.

Shannon D.

Yelp
Such delicious food, great service. Definitely deserves a 5 star review We had the spring rolls, fried tofu and pik King All sooooo good.

R F.

Yelp
The service was excellent despite the fact that we arrived almost close to their closing time. They were polite and courteous. The food was excellent. I highly recommend them.

Brett B.

Yelp
Best Thai in town! They really do it right here. Just ate here last night and was once again very impressed. I was so happy with the food and service I decided to leave a review. Their rating should be higher than 4.0. Try the chicken satay and coconut soup; both are excellent! Great prices too.

Ann S.

Yelp
Delicious Need to make a reservation since it's popular and limited seating. Pad Thai always a good choice. I had a delicious curry and enough to take home.

Marcos S.

Yelp
Great food, fresh ingredients, flavorful curries, delicious dessert, and the atmosphere and service were very pleasant. I definitely look forward to my next dinner date here.

Ayesha H.

Yelp
I like laguna di laguna or joeys od diho classic q or bistangk el torito grill or a nice thai soup acapulck is close .

Felix R.

Yelp
Excellent food and polite service, our order unfortunately did not come at once but with a 5 minutes delay between people for the main course otherwise this would be 5 stars.

Pam D.

Yelp
I was so disappointed here. I had read good reviews but now suspect that either the restaurant had a bad night or the reviewers don't know good Thai. We ordered two things: Bong spring rolls and Perfect Harmony, a chicken dish. So disappointing to see Bong come out with a pile of wilted cabbage and sauce in a paper cup! Perfect Harmony was not perfect. The peanut sauce was delicious but the chicken was dry and the spinach was mostly stems. I have been to better Thai restaurants and not interested in returning here.

Mia G.

Yelp
chill spot right by the beach, quick service, good portions for a reasonable price. REALLY good water, and clean bathrooms. candies on the way out. all in all a good time.

Ann S.

Yelp
Not a fan! We got Pad Thai Noodle chicken and Veggie Curry. Sadly not memorable. Watery and lacked flavor. Won't be back.

LARRY W.

Yelp
Love this place. Food and staff are great. But I hope they can figure out how to comply with Laguna Beach's new paper packaging rules or we won't be getting to go orders here anymore. Whoever packed it stacked three heavy container on top of two paper containers. Alas everything broke through, soaked my daughters jeans and then broke through onto my car. Freakin mess. So sad. And no juice for my rice. This all happened within one minute of leaving the restaurant. To go diners be warned! Hope you all get this figured out.

Ricki S.

Yelp
My boo and I stopped in here on our trip for some Summer rolls and were so impressed with the service. Our server the first (and second time, because of course we went back the following day) was amazing! She was so sweet and attentive. I loved my Pad See Ew on the first day and was obsessed with the egg fried rice the second. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Sandra S.

Yelp
First visit to Laguna and was craving Thai...found this place for carryout..what a gem! Order was simple, basic Thai items - geow sa (dumplings) and pad thai. (both good test run items for a first time order from a Thai place/menu)....Both were excellent! Fresh. Dumplings were perfectly cooked. Pad Thai needed just a tad of flavor so added the little bit of sauce left from dumplings...perfect! Definitely recommend trying Thai Bros if you have not.

Clayton Y.

Yelp
We ordered basil fried rice and marinated duck. the fried rice was good, but the duck was not tender. The service was good, and the small restaurant was clean. They seem to give one gigantic serving of one menu item to each person. We had to tell the waitress that we like to share the food and she had to get small plates for us to use. A group of four sitting next to us each had the same treatment of one menu item per person. I'm sure they would have appreciated sharing the different dishes amongst themselves. It's interesting that the marinated duck was listed under Chef's specialties, as it was difficult to chew. My friend had to go to the bathroom to give himself the Heimlich maneuver. Overall I think this restaurant deserves one more chance. They could have had a bad day with the duck.

Mya E.

Yelp
give them zero stars me and my partner were sitting in the restaurant for about 10 minutes we were sat and offered no water nor to take our order they were not busy. and of course here comes in a lady of lighter pigment instantly taking her order. Terrible Service I do not believe they accept people of darker skin tones , we ended up walking out will never spend a dime here

Darryl R.

Yelp
The food was amazingly delicious and very tasty. We order chicken Thai rice. Very nice portions.

Dave L.

Yelp
Not everyone gets a 5 star from me but this place is goooood! We visited town for the Pageant of the Masters like we do every year. We like to arrive early, park across from the venue and walk into town for dinner. We have been to many restaurants in Laguna and it is unfortunate that they do not seem to last long. Some of our favorites have come and gone. This time a friend recommended Thai Bros. I never noticed them before. They are located within and easy walk but on a side street so you don't have the full on tourist bustle like other places do. We were with some vegetarian friends so we ordered everything with Tofu. Green Jungle curry was my favorite. Great flavor and vegetables were cooked nicely. I thought the prices were okay though a bit more than the usual Thai....it is Laguna after all. The servers were pleasant. The atmosphere is kind of cafe'-like. They leave the door open and the ocean breeze was great. The take out business was booming the whole time we were there. Oh, and we arrived at about 5:30 and seated right away. I understand that later in the evening they have a line out the door. Go here. I-think-you-gonna-like-it.

S H.

Yelp
Really good in Laguna! A hidden gem. Really big portions! Get the crab fried rice. Can't wait to go back!

Mike M.

Yelp
Good food, excellent service and well organized. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was also very clean. I'll definitely be back.

Eid F.

Yelp
It is Laguna and this is the center of the touristy area so prices were on the higher side. Entree portion sizes were ok except for appetizer which was not really a shareable portion of fried calamari. The inside was very small but setup very nice so you felt like your party had some privacy. It was also very clean and the service was super friendly and food prep was fast as well. Taste was great as well (nothing mind blowing) but definitely satisfied with the overall experience. I would recommend and return.

Sarai P.

Yelp
We had great service by the waitress. They were very nice and kind. The food was amazing. I tried the triangles they were delicious. I like how it's very chill and very calm around the neighborhood

Marty B.

Yelp
Very tasty. Had the yellow curry with chicken ( restaurant's choice) and the pad Thai with chicken. Both Delicious!! Quick efficient service too!!

Polly R.

Yelp
I ordered take-out from Thai Bros, and it was great! For starters, the food was ready in 20 minutes. The online ordering process was straightforward and you can pay in advance. When I arrived around 6pm on a Saturday, there was a line of people waiting for a table so it definitely seemed busy! We ordered the spring rolls, red curry, and steak stir fry. Everything was tasty and had huge portions. I fed myself for 2 days on the leftovers. Parking in downtown Laguna is always a bit of a mess, and Thai Bros is no exception. Expect to pay for metered parking.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
This place is a cute hole in the wall. Service was great and super attentive. Their mango sticky rice was the BEST I've ever tried.

Kev O.

Yelp
What a cute little casual and cozy gem of a Thai restaurant. My girlfriend and I decided to take drive out to Laguna Beach for lunch....and whilst doing a search on Yelp, this place was recommended as a place I may like since Yelp seemed to have figure out that I like Thai food. I was a little skeptical at first, a Thai restaurant in Laguna Beach?....hmmm.....well, it sounded good by all the good reviews.....so why not give it a try.....I had a craving for Thai food anyway. So off we went, managed to find a private valet parking lot since I already knew that metered street parking would be a pain on a weekend, and to my surprise, the parking lot across street offered valet parking for a very reasonable $2 per half hour or ....if I remember correctly, $10 for the day. The second I walked in to this little restaurant just off the main road, I was already impressed by its quaint, cosy, and casual decor and ambiance. We were greeted by a nice and friendly guy, who also seemed to be the only server working there, and was given a table at the front, by the window, and where we could watch people walking by.....oh, and where it was more brightly lit so that we could actually read the menu and see what we'd be eating. Anyway, because this is a small business, the menu selection will not be as extensive as those larger seating area and more staff.....but, I found that it still had some of my favorite Thai dishes that I almost always order. Sadly, my favorite appetizer.....tod man pla (fish cakes) are not on the menu. So, we went ahead and ordered the Chicken Satay...comes with a peanut dipping sauce, Papaya Salad, Famous Yellow with chicken....or yellow curry with chicken, Drunken Noodle with Chicken.....or basically pad see yew....dried flat rice noodles...with chicken. Overall, very impressed with the quality of the food. Everything prepared hot, fresh...and with obvious care..... had great flavor in the curry and noodle dishes, papaya salad fresh and crispy with a nice (medium spicy) kick, and the chicken satay tender and yummy......some places over grill it till dry. What I really appreciated, particularly with the curry and noodle dishes was perfect ratio of ingredients.....not too much noodles and too little meat and vegetables....and not too much vegetables and a skimpy portion of protein.....like in some other restaurants. The quality, taste, and portion sizes were spot on....imho.....and we really quite enjoyed our dining experience here. my girlfriend even commented that she thought the food was "soooo good!" I highly recommend this place, but being such a small place, you can expect a wait during peak hours. We will be back for sure.

Robert G.

Yelp
Great Crying Tiger, melts in your mouth, and fabulous spicy savory zing in their freshly made sauce. Pad Thai was perfect could have used more lime but I'm picky lol. BUT they are very expensive @ $125 for 3 people. I was shocked when I got the bill. They get 5 stars because I taste the quality, but it was truly a shocking price.

Muk V.

Yelp
You get one star for each of the following - - Quality of food - Quality of service - Atmosphere - Value - Something special In this case, the food was good. The surly service sucked. This ruined the atmosphere as well as the value. Obviously there was nothing special. I have been going here for 30 years. It has been through many owners. Most of them have been very friendly and helpful. Whoever is running this place right now needs to change their attitudes. Unfortunately for us, however, Thai Bros is the only Thai food nearby so they can do whatever they want.

Lindsey C.

Yelp
Tonight we ordered takeout from Thai Bros. We ordered the papaya salad (sliced raw green papaya with tomato, green bean, carrot and peanut in Thai spicy som tum sauce) and Pad Thai with chicken (rice noodle with egg, tofu, green onion, bean sprout, ground peanut and chicken). We both thought it was really tasty and filling. They are a bit pricier than some Thai restaurants, but hey it's Laguna Beach! Please note, we ordered the food at a spice level of 1, and it was VERY spicy to both of us so I recommend a level 0 because my sinuses are completely cleared out and my mouth is still burning as I write this. The service was fast and friendly (from online ordering to pick up, less than 15 minutes!) I also really like that they show pictures of the items when you order online because it's nice to know what to expect when you order!

Aila I.

Yelp
I have been eating here for years and they don't disappoint!! Thai Bros has the best appetizers! The fried cream cheese wontons and bong are sooo good. I'd highly recommend and they are great for take out too. I also love the mango sticky rice - one of my favorite desserts. Come here for authentic Thai recipes!

Karen J.

Yelp
We have gone to Thai Bros for years and it never disappoints. Every dish is fresh and full of yummy ! They put lots of large shrimp in the fried rice. We love the Pad Thai and the avocado/shrimp egg rolls. The service is fast and friendly. They will bring you extra sauces. We also love the Pad See Ew. Even tho Thai Bros is a hole in the wall, It's our fav

Kenya W.

Yelp
Literally giving it 2 because the food was good... unfortunately I can't even think about the taste because 1 hour after eating I spent the entire night throwing up. This is the ONLY food I ate all day so it quiet literally couldn't have been anything else. I can't shake the feeling that it was intentional in some weird way. The way the waitress was staring at me ALL dinner was making me uncomfortable the entire time. Could have been from an unclean kitchen or unwashed hands- idk. My husband ordered the yellow curry and was fine. But what I will say is that was the WORST experience I've ever had with food poisoning- EVER. I ordered the pad see ew.

Christine H.

Yelp
This was absolutely delicious, I found my new fix whenever in Laguna Beach. We had the chicken drunken noodles and pad Thai and it was so flavorful and fresh tasting, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our table also had the vegetable fried rice, and all of the vegetables were perfectly cooked and the rice had a delicious, unique flavor, which is almost smoky. It's a Tiny simple Restaurant inside but packs a lot of flavor!

Misa K.

Yelp
I live up the Jill and been going here for few years now. The food is great and service has also always been good.

Gregg B.

Yelp
A small little Thai restaurant in downtown Laguna I came here for lunch with another. It was very fast service and the food was very good He had the vegetarian pad Thai which he liked a lot I had the basil eggplant with chicken breast and vegetables and a spicy sweet sauce with brown rice. I enjoyed this and the rice was nice and nutty tasting I will come back to try more dishes

Kanda K.

Yelp
I am giving 5 stars for Pad see ew and Radnah seafood. I am Thai and don't usually like Pad see ew but it becomes my favorite dish when I try it here. For Radnah taste so authentic and the fresh seafood just make everything better. These two are my favorite here and recommended.

Seana Z.

Yelp
Love Thai Bros.! Been coming here for years. Food is always top notch and service friendly. Highly recommend the drunken noodles and crab fried rice.
