Thai Curry Simple Forced to Close for Months After Fire - Eater Seattle
"Thai Curry Simple in the International District is temporarily closed after a fire. No one was injured, but significant damage requires the restaurant to be closed for repairs and cleanup for a few months. It is known for its noodles and curries." - Gabe Guarente
I went here for dinner with a friend. We got the spicy basil chicken and the crab fried rice. I personally would have preferred more basil on the spicy basil chicken, but it was still yummy. The fried egg was excellent: crispy on the outside with runny yolk.
I gotta try their curry next time!

I was a little bummed honestly. It's priced well and was ok... the curry was good but I felt the rice needs some love. It was dry. A good sticky rice would make it a lot better.
The Thai tea was meh, but the coconut pudding was bomb! (The little green cup)
For $8 I would eat it again and give a different dish a shot.

The best Pad Thai I've ever eaten, delicious curries, and the sweetest staff. I eat here about once a week and am never disappointed, and if I don't, I have the worst cravings for their food because it is so delicious. Seriously, so good. Go get some now!

Reviews are spot on! Triple A+ service, incredible food, and great value. Spent less than $10 for the Panang Chicken Curry. One of the top most delicious curry's I've had the pleasure of having. Perfect medium spice as well. Highly recommend and will be back again!

Nice people doing fine food. Had an order for pick up and it was efficient. They even let me in the bathroom that is like crossing the kitchen and I could see the humbleness. My girlfriend didn't enjoy her food so much but probably was the traveling. Thai the was so good.

Tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good and very affordable. I had the chicken phad thai and it was better than most I have had in the area. The staff was also very friendly. The food came up last too which is always a bonus. Bottom line is that if you are in the area and are looking for good thai, check this place out.

The pad Thai was too sweet and the bottom was taste of sugar. They don’t do spicy as they provide you chili at the table which doesn’t match the Thai cuisine furthermore the noodle is a bit hard... I'm surprised as there are so many good review that brought me here...

I usually frequent their UW counterpart (Wann Yen), but they serve dinner at this location now also! 😃 Good portions, and the flavors are just right. If you have room for dessert, get the roti. The chili sauce complements the dishes well.
