The Best Thai Restaurants in and Around New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"Thai DJing in Gretna is the real deal, thanks to chef Suda Ounin’s classically trained attention to detail and gorgeous presentation. Everything she prepares is pristine, from traditional pad Thai bright with the tang of tamarind and fish sauce, to tender ginger salmon, to her award-winning potato curry soup. Curries and stir fries are served with a choice of tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp, and salmon. Worth the trip, no matter what side of the river you’re on." - Beth D’Addono

I went to Thai D Jing in Gretna, LA and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The crab fried rice was packed with crabmeat in every bite, and the Khao Soi was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. On top of the delicious food, the service was truly a 10/10. I accidentally left my lights on and needed a jump after late. One of the owners came out personally to help me - such a kind gesture that meant a lot. You don't get that kind of hospitality everywhere. I'll definitely be back and continue to support this gem. Thank you again!

Beautiful space inside and out, with lovely plants, kind and attentive service, and food with the most delicious flavors and aromas. We had crispy chicken drunken noodles, crispy shrimp pineapple fried rice, and the ginger salmon. All were beautifully presented. Really wonderful dining experience in a lovely neighborhood in Old Gretna. Already planning to return when my daughter comes to town. Thank you!

Google
Super cute place and bomb food. Curry so good I ordered a bowl to-go too. I could see myself working in their corner booth or on the cute front porch!

Google
Me an my daughter stopped here for lunch and I loved the cute environment and quick service. I had the drunken noodles. It’s different as it comes with ground beef and spaghetti type noodles but it was tasty. My daughter had the kids chicken with noodles which were just noodles no sauce or anything on them. But I enjoyed it.

Google
I was not impressed with the food. We ordered the drunken noodles, khao soy, and chicken satay. The chicken satay was flavorful and I enjoyed the sauce although it was runny. The khao soy was not filling and had few pieces of chicken in it for $15. My drunken noodles were super greasy from the ground beef and was mainly beef and oily noodles($20). There were hardly any bell peppers and regular onions. Service was alright, our server checked on us after the food was brought out and refilled waters. When we paid, my boyfriend accidentally hit 25% automatic tip option instead of 18%. When he told the servers (there were 3 sitting/talking), they told him they couldn’t do anything about it. I’m thinking they could have at least voided the whole transaction and re-rang us up but whatever. I don’t think the food was worth the price we paid.

Google
Bright and cheery. Clean and comfy, Food was fabulous. Whole fried sea bass. 2 daily specials; shrimp roti and steak roti. Both came with salad and soup. I had the coconut curry soup and my companion had the potato soup. When the food came, we'd stopped talking. Enough said.

Google
Intimate restaurant with really great, friendly service and delicious Thai food! Was really surprised to find this place with my friends who frequent this establishment. It's definitely a stand out for the Westbank. The spicy wasn't horrifically spicy like some Thai places make their spice, so you can actually taste the other flavors. So keep that in mind because it's mild, medium or hot spicy options. I got hot and it was very tolerable, probably comparable to a low medium heat at most Thai places. Will definitely be back!

It was my first time eating Thai food. The place was very welcoming and the food was extremely tasteful. I enjoyed everything. I look forward to eating there again.

Yelp
The Absolute BEST Pad Thai here!! I love it EXTRA Thai HOT- they make it perfect! Customer service is great too!

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch today after being here previously and enjoying it. Ordered edamame, calamari, fried jalepenos, pad Thai, drunken noodles, and khao soi noodles. Everything was great except for the khao soi noodles. The menu put that it came with ramen noodles but it actually came with pasta noodles. Like a thin fettuccine. This dish is commonly served with egg noodles but I figured ramen noodles would also be good. But that wasn't the case. It came with pasta noodles that didn't soak up the broth right. I ended up returning the dish and decided to order the pad Thai. At the end, the khao soi was still on the check and the owner refused to take it off. The server was uncomfortable as I would be too when relaying the message that they were not going to take it off the bill because it was already made. By that time the server has long taken the dish, so I had to pay for a dish I did not eat and was not told that would be the case. If I knew I was going to be paying for it anyways, I would've just taken it home for someone else. Unprofessional way of handeling their restaurant and its customers. Will not return.

Yelp
The food here was good! The service was very friendly. The dining room layout is open so you can see most of the other tables from where you're sitting. I ordered the crab rangoons and the drunken noodles with chicken.

Yelp
Every time we dine at Tahi D Jing we discover something new and delicious as well as get something we love. This time we tried the Thai Coffee-AMAZING!!! The something we always love was the Shrimp Rodi Sliders. Everything is ALWAYS FRESH AND FLAVORFUL!! And the service is friendly and courteous. This trip our server was Quinn and he was exceptional! We also love the atmosphere of Thai D Jing. It's always so clean and inviting. Can't wait until our next visit!

Yelp
Thai D Jing was delicious! The flavors were so fresh and delicious -- plus, you can add any protein to any dish. I went with a larger party, so the only downside is that not everyone's food came out at the same time, and we had to wait a little while to eat.

Yelp
Takeout. Eggplant sticks delivered in a paper bag and leaked grease all over the rest of my order. Dipping sauce not included. Rest of my order was fine once I wiped it down, with the exception of te red onions in the chiang mai noodles that were in quarter chunks that I had to slice myself. This place already charges higher prices than some other local Thai places, so this along with some sketch sitdown service kind of seals the deal on me not ordering from here again.

Sakura T.

Yelp
The flavors are on point! We love the roti and curry dipping sauce, the shrimp and cheese appetizer (shrimp tail enclosed in crab Rangoon and fried) and the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. Chicken satay is okay. Regular crab Rangoon is very small and overpriced. Kids dinners are also overpriced. Service is usually good and the owner is amazingly sweet. Best Thai in Louisiana for sure!

Yelp
Great food and great service every single time I have eaten at Thai D Jing! Thank you for the consistent food and service!

Yelp
On my mission to find the best pad thai, my next location is Thai D Jing. I ordered for pick up and was met with a very helpful worker. She gave me her recommendation for appetizers. Although the majority of them were vegetarian, she mentioned the stuffed chicken wings. The outside of the establishment is unique. It was a residential home remodeled for business. The pink outside gives it a lot of personality. The parking lot can fit about 10 cars. But the inside is beautiful and great for a quick date night. I'd give it 4/5 for the ambiance. The workers are young and attentive. Although some are nervous, they are willing to help. $15 Chicken pad Thai, Thai spicy with extra sauce: 3/5 The portion is on the smaller side. I hoped to be surprised with flavor to compensate for the lack of size. I took my first bite and felt underwhelmed. I took a second bite and confirmed something yet to be reached. I had a big lime and extra sauce put into the pad Thai. Even still, the sauce was missing a heightened acidity profile. The flavor was very mild and basic. It needed to be brighter. $9 Stuffed Chicken Wings: 2/5 I was excited to try this recommendation from the worker. When I opened my box, I was met with 2 measly chicken wings served with fish sauce. I felt scammed and utterly defeated. If this were $5, I'd rate it higher, but there should be 5 pieces at the price point. The flavor is nothing out of this world. Not worth trying. I'll continue my search for the best pad thai. I may come back here to try the other dishes because of the staff and ambiance.

Yelp
Other than a few very minor things, my husband and I had a very good lunch for our first visit to a Thai D Jing. We got there at 12:00 as they were opening. We ordered: an iced tea, Tom yum soup, green curry soup, stuffed wings, pad Thai with vegetables and khoi soy with crispy chicken. The wings were good but tiny. The soups were delicious. The pad Thai was full of flavor. The khoi soy was interesting. It didn't have a lot of the stuff I am used to (pickles greens, onions, etc); it was mainly a very rich, light curry-flavored broth. It was tasty but I did miss the add-one for the texture and acid. We ordered medium spicy but there was pretty much no spice. I would come back again!

Yelp
This food is some of the best food I've ever had. Definitely some of the best Thai ever. It blows anything else in the city out of the water. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. We were truly blown away by all of the flavors in every single thing we ordered. We will definitely be regulars.

Yelp
This review is purely based off of take out, but I thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was one of those night where I didn't feel like cooking, but I decided this pretty late in the game and I had to make a decision fast because things were going to be closing soon. I'm a big fan of Thai and hadn't yet tried Thai Djing and decided to give it a try. I tried to order online, but it wasn't available, but I was able to call in an easily place my order over the phone. The staff member that took my call was very patient. I got a tom kha soup with shrimp, roti, and chicken pad thai. It took about 30 minutes for my food to be ready. I live about 10 or so minutes from the restaurant and it was still nice and hot upon arrival. I'm typically a tom yum soup girl, but opted for tom kha after having it recently while on vacation. Truthfully, I just love soup, so it probably doesn't take much to make me happy, but it really hit the spot. It was flavorful, slightly spicy, and had lots of vegetables. I'm not sure it that's customary or a Thai Djing thing, but I really appreciated how hearty it was. I'm also a bread girl (are you noticing a trend? I like everything, lol), so it took everything in me not to eat all of this first. It was buttery, flaky, great chew. I should have ordered two servings. I don't typically get pad thai, but was really feeling it today and it did not disappoint. The chicken was tender, the noddles were soft and slightly chewy, and it had the perfect spice. I was full as tick and quite pleased. I only wish I would have ordered a side of veggies or something because #balance, but otherwise *chef's kiss*.

Yelp
This is maybe my third time here. I like the food but this last time was not the best experience. We ordered appetizers and entrees at the same time. It's been 50 minutes and we still don't have entrees. The waiter has not been to our table to explain what's going on. We asked a busboy who said the kitchen was backed up. When the waiter was processing a check at the table next to ours, I asked for a slice of lime for my water. Ten minutes later he returned with lemon slices. Not the biggest deal but the place is not that big. The food tonight was flavorless. The eggplant which I have had before was a huge disappointment. It had little to no flavor. We tried a new sweet/sour pineapple and chicken dish. It was awful. It had little to no taste yet it left a bad taste in your mouth.. And, we never saw our waiter after he brought the lemon slices. Never checked to see if we needed anything. We went to the counter and paid when we were ready to leave. Can't say I will return. This is the first time we have left a Thai place disappointed!

Yelp
Had their food at Gretna Festival. Although good flavor I was disappointed that the beef being ground and the noodles being more like your average pasta. Veggie Egg rolls were ok served hot.

Susan C.

Yelp
Prices higher and smaller portions. Food is tasty and service was great. Such a great atmosphere.

Yelp
NEVER AGAIN. Instead of providing good, courteous service, twice in a row in-house, we were actually shamed and/or ignored while 2-9 year olds took over the restaurant, literally screaming, banging and running around, and nobody seemed to care, from the parents to the restaurant staff! I don't even know where to start! First, the food was awful. Dried out and over cooked noodles and seafood. Maybe this time, after the last disaster we experienced, is a sign. DO NOT GO BACK. BTW, every single time, like another commenter said, they are out of shrimp rings and most other things they supposedly offer on HH menu. We spent a lot of money and tipped well even after my husband had to go order drinks and other apps after the big party of screaming children arrived, and the female "bartender"/ server who apparently chose to shame us for drinking sake (according to her, a bottle split between 3 adults is a no-no) while we sat in hell of kindergarteners running around us like something out of a bad movie. Of course, the rude comments to us only came after she rushed us to order our entrees before they all did. If we hadn't been so hungry and absolutely jarred by the whole scenario, trying to have an early evening meal on a Friday night after we all worked so hard all week, we probably would've just called it quits after the apps and gotten out of this fresh hell. I don't understand what is up with the bad food and bad attitude, but a child could've tap danced on our heads while we sat and were treated like crap by the staff and expected to take it and smile. If it's rented out for a kids' party then say so before we sat down and they all showed up! Instead, the restaurant chose chicken fingers and booger fingers over a small 4-top who were seeking a nice dinner out to kick off the weekend and to drop some money. The only exception was the nice smiling young man who was part of the wait staff. Otherwise, with the young woman's remarks and general bad service and food, I'm pissed and rightfully so. We have supported this place through the pandemic! Ordered crappy food to go. Don't bother, just go to any number of more friendly places with great Thai food (you know there are plenty, and one very close by).... AND, the one thing that we wanted for dessert, Mango sticky rice was also once again not available, just like the appetizers. SMH.

Yelp
We Started to frequent them when they were still in a food truck & once they opened up a restaurant we were so happy!! It's a hidden gem on the westbank that has 1. Great parking. 2. Friendly service. 3. Delicious food! Flavors & smells are always consistently good, here's a look at their Khao Soi & Pad Thai! Definitely recommend both! @phidingthefam

Yelp
Usually love coming here and the food is amazing but today the service was TERRIBLE- we had two waiters because one of them didn't know how to serve and the other guy was trying to fill in for her. We kept having to remind them what we needed, and we were waited 45 min-1 hour for our food. Amazing food but a gamble with the service. Ambiance is great though.

Yelp
So delicious. Don't make a mistake and miss out on this gem. I had the papaya salad with shrimp. And then I had the ginger salmon. Got them both medium spicy. Finished off with mango sticky rice and single scoop of coconut ice cream. Sat on the front porch and enjoyed the evening breeze. Cute place. Beautiful flavors. Inspired chef(s). Will definitely come back.

Yelp
Place looks lovely, service was prompt, and food was delicious! Went here for the first time a couple of months ago and I was looking for the menu to order when YELP asked me to review the place. That's why it's so brief, perhaps I'll add to it after tonight's experience.

Yelp
I was a long time fan of the Thai D Jing food truck (I got it religiously in graduate school on Pad Thai Tuesday and was crowned the Thai D Jing King by med school classmates) and was incredibly excited to hear they opened up a physical restaurant. Let me preface by saying this success couldn't have happened to nicer people. The owners have been a constant positive presence throughout town and having used them for catering orders I've found them to be a delight to work with. Here they have room to grow and are able to branch out and offer a larger menu and include a bar service. Thankfully the classics are still incredible - the pad thai is some of the best in New Orleans. While I'm sad they aren't doing the food truck anymore I now find myself looking for excuses to venture over to the westbank and eat them again whenever I can
google avatar

Matthew L.

Yelp
Fantastic!! Came with the whole cousin crew to try out a Thai place on the Westbank. I was a little hesitant at first because I always felt that Thai food was not for me. Thankfully I was really wrong. The outside of the restaurant is a house prettied up and on the inside, it looks sleek and modern. The menus have pictures of all of the items so you can't really have a problem visualizing what type of food you will get. The food to get is by far everything! Haha, we did not have a bad app, entree, or for some, dessert. I had the chicken fried rice and it was delightful! Their crab rangoons are pretty dope as well. This is a nice tucked away secret and well with the try. Give it a try!

Yelp
Best Pad Thai EVER! I had been waiting and waiting to try Thai Djing and when I found out they opened a restaurant location I knew I finally had to try them out. I went in thinking it was about to be just another basic Thai restaurant experience, but boy was I wrong. I got the Shrimp Pad Thai and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. And I'm not overexaggerating. It tasted like no other Pad Thai I've had before and I could tell it was authentic. It had the most delicious flavor and I couldn't stop gushing about how amazing it was after every bite. I rarely get this impressed by a meal, but this one was just insanely good. I'm also so happy to see that the Westbank has gained another great restaurant!! Thai Djing is my new favorite Thai restaurant, hands down.

Lisa P.

Yelp
The food is always on point. Great customer service. I've never had a bad meal here. Even if it's Uber Eats delivery or dine in. You want be disappointed!

Yelp
Worth crossing rivers and bridges for! Travel along gritty 5th street in Gretna and there's not much to see. Until you get to the bright pink cottage, where you absolutely MUST hang a right into the tidy parking lot. Here, at the newly opened Thai DJing restaurant, Jeerasak Boonlert and his wife, chef Suda Ounin are making savory magic against the backdrop of their hard-won American dream. The Thai-born husband and wife team create sheer magic - on a recent dinner enjoyed under the stars (inside and outside dining is available) we enjoyed flash fried calamari with a spicy dip of chili and fish sauce, soy-powered basil stir fried shrimp and a divine ginger salmon, perfectly cooked (medium rare) with a broth bright mirin and soy sauce. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Everything was delicious, the staff was super friendly and helpful and this place is just adorable! Don't blink or you'll miss it even with the pink exterior! Popular Sunday brunch spot apparently because it was packed! Definitely going back!

Yelp
What a great place and overall experience! Good for groups and able to accommodate group reservations in a variation of set ups (despite being a fairly small space, they really utilize it very well without people feeling too close to each other). The menu has pictures of all the offerings. I consider that brilliant and a big attraction. And while without those appreciated pictures, make sure you wait to hear the specials for the day before making a decision! Chances are, they will be something really tasty and appealing. Another standout quality is the staff. Everyone treated the restaurant and each of the customers as they were personally invested in success of the business and the experience of the guests. That's a pretty impressive quality. Our glasses were never empty, no questions were unanswered and we were engaged with at all the right times. Friendly, but efficient. Suggestions: We had each of the appetizers, and they were all fantastic (even the tofu and in not usually into that). Everything was cooked great, but the sauces are what really turned things up from good to great. Salad Roll is good and Papaya Salad was great (but don't get overly brave when it comes to temptation of getting Thai Spicy vs. medium...it catches up with you by the end). Most main dishes come with protein and spice level options, but the team will be happy to guide you through any decision making and seemed very accommodating to dietary restrictions of multiple variations. A thing to know, is that parking is in the back of the building. Back entrance also features the handicap ramp and while accessible, most of the lot is gravel with those embedded pattern shapes, so may not be the easiest to navigate in a wheelchair or with a stroller, so plan accordingly or make sure you park closer to the cement slab. Overall, great experience! Only regrets, not having had saved space for dessert. There will need to be a follow up visit in order to remedy that.

Yelp
Very nice setting inside the restaurant, staff was pleasant and courteous. The food on the other hand was horrible.

Yelp
Excellent Thai food - Lots of parking behind building - it took me a while to notice that. Great fresh tasting food, Well presented with great service

Yelp
I don't usually leave reviews but the food here was so good I had to. The Tom kha soup and pad Thai was delicious. Secret tip: get some shrimp fried rice and put it in the Tom kha, it tastes fantastic.

Yelp
This spot is a hidden gem in old gretna it gives you a very home vibe (used to be a house). The food was great and the service was well. I had a feeling it would be great if how packed it was on a Tuesday night! If you are craving for some yummy affordable Thai food this is your place to try!

Gervis R.

Yelp
Great fresh food. Clean and casual. Reasonable pricing! My partner and I ordered to go and as we waited the staff was very friendly!!

Yelp
IF it was possible to give LESS than one (1) star, I MOST certainly would. My family & I were seated (party of 4). Mason, brought the water to the table & no one EVER returned. Another four top table was seated AFTER we arrived and the waitress ran to service them. After getting her attention, we were able to place an appetizer & drink order. The waitress came back, seven (7) minutes later & stated, "We are out of the shrimp onion rings for the day." That was understandable, considering they were busy & under staffed. Ten minutes after that, a table of about, 10, walked in & was seated. Five minutes after that, the waitress came back to our table and stated, "The owner said because we are so busy and under staffed we can't make any mixed drinks." We were totally puzzled, due to the fact, that both tables that walked in after us, ordered, and were served mixed drinks. My family and I have patronized this business since it was a food truck at the Gretna Farmer's Market on Saturdays, just to give an idea of the quality of service that we are used to and expect. Now, might I add, my family and I were THE only black customers during this encounter. My suggestion... IF you look like me, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT waste your time, energy, and money at this establishment.

Yelp
I've been eating Thai D'Jing's veggie pad thai since its food truck days on the downtown LSU campus in New Orleans. Mr. Jeerasak is so kind -- he once graciously obliged to serve me pad thai at 10am from his food truck, a whole hour before they officially opened for business! -- and I was so excited to learn that he and his wife, Mrs. Suda were opening a brick-and-mortar, living example of "mom and pop" restaurant! We dined in the casually romantic pink restaurant on a Friday night without making a reservation because we typically eat pretty early. I'd recommend making one though if you're going to dine at 6pm or later. Because we were early, we got to catch some of their happy hour specials. From the HH menu, we ordered the chicken sticks, veggie egg rolls, and shrimp and cheese rolls as part of the 3 mini apps for $10; the creamy Tom Yum soup for $5, and the roti with red curry sauce also for $5. Everything was delicious but oh my goodness, you have got to get the roti with the red curry sauce! The sauce is to dieeee for! For our actual meals, we got the egg fried rice and veggie pad thai with no tofu cooked at a medium spice level. Whew, that medium spicy is something good, yall! It was a tad spicy even for my Indian palette so I'd recommend going for mild and asking for sriracha on the side in case you don't wanna wrestle with your GERD later on in the night. All of this was washed down with some Singha beer, served with a frosted glass, of course! On a previous occasion, I picked up two veggie pad thais to go and they were packaged really well. I do think that pad thai tends to congeal a tad so I'd recommend either dining in or eating it ASAP. Service was excellent! COVID precautions in place. Please check out Thai D'Jing for your next thai food craving! Their menu is available online. And for my fellow, LSU folks -- there are plans to bring the truck back at some point!

Yelp
I'm absolutely impressed ! But hey Gretna is the crème de la crème of the West Bank. The food has visual aides of each dish so the individual can decide if the portion size is filling to their level of hunger. The food is prepared fresh and absolutely delicious
google avatar

Layna J.

Yelp
Consistent and delicious. I'm so thankful for this spot on the West Bank. Good quality food options are slim. This place always delivers. It's also super cute and clean. Staff is always really friendly. Check them out if you haven't yet!

Anne C.

Yelp
Worst Thai food I've ever had. It surprised me because it had been recommended to me by someone. Maybe they were having a bad night. The Pad See Ew came with all of the noodles rolled up in tight rolls, rather than as long noddles. See picture below. The Pad Thai was so over-cooked it was a gelatinous block. And the Stir Fry Cashew nut was a very small portion of cooked bell peppers and green onions in a tasteless sauce, no cashew nuts . I would have taken it all back for a refund had it not been so far away. We won't be going back.

Yelp
This place is THE BEST! Everything we ordered had so much flavor. The papaya salad was refreshing with just the right amount of spice and sweetness. The red curry with roti was so good, we mopped every last bit in the bowl! We got the beef pad Thai and the meat was perfectly cooked like how we enjoy it and it was so tender! We also had the green tea flan and ate it so fast before we could get a picture. We will be back soon!

Tuyet P.

Yelp
I was craving shrimp pad thai yesterday and my guy brought home one. Their shrimp pad thai had no veggies inside but it was absolutely delicious and the best one I've ever eaten. There was so much flavor and the shrimp was huge! I want another one as I am writing this review. I dined in here one time and sat outside. They had a mini garden in the back parking lot which was fun to see. Lots of papaya plants but no papaya salad on the menu yet. Hoping to see it make it on the menu one day. I also ordered a shrimp with cream cheese appetizer and a curry bowl with crispy noodle on top. The shrimp appetizer was amazing. Huge shrimp inside with the perfect amount of cream cheese. The wonton wrapped on the outside was deep fried to perfection. Super crispy with melted cream cheese and juicy jumbo shrimp. The curry bowl was also flavorful but didnt come with lots of veggies inside. So it was pretty heavy. The shrimp still had shells on and there was a salty sauce sautéed with shrimp that I didnt like at all. Service was friendly and excellent. They checked on us pretty often and all the food came out fast and piping hot. Definitely a must try and now on my favorite list of thai restaurants.

Yelp
Everything is EXTREMELY GOOD. Great customer service, everyone is so friendly. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. For those people who wondering where they should eat Thai foods, I highly recommend Thai D Jing!
google avatar

Sabrina S.

Yelp
Where to begin. This place is truly a gem! We were visiting the area for work and found this place on a whim. The ambiance is very tranquil with a modern touch. There is a cute patio for outside seating with lights that make it a very charming setting. As for the food- the Pad Thai and cashew nut and appetizers are PHENOMENAL. I have had many dishes around the US and Thai D Jing definitely rates top 3. We wish we didn't get so full so we could try the desserts but they looked amazing as well. Our server was great and so friendly. I can't give this place enough kudos- truly incredible and must try if you are in NOLA.

Yelp
The food was very good, served Hot & Fresh. The Egg rolls were Great, served with 3 sauces. The Stirfry Basil w/ Shrimp Entree dish could have had more BASIL & less Green Bell pepper Pad Thai was Excellent full of flavor, served hot..The stir fry cashew chicken was very good, but had too much green bell pepper also...The service was Great. The Restroom was clean & spotless, Hot water, soap, paper towels. This place is a new little gem in Gretna along 5th street by water tower & Police station, near Ok Garden Park Subdivision... Overall a Great Dining experience and will RETURN to taste other items on menu..4 Stars out of 5 !

Yelp
After hearing that this delicious New Orleans food truck opened a restaurant in Gretna, we had to go. It was even more amazing than what we had remembered. To drink, I had the Spicy Thai Lemongrass Margarita. Perfect amount of spice and sweetness. For dinner, I had the Khao Soi. It is apparent that so much thought goes into, not only the unique flavors, but also the presentation. They're like works of art. Highly recommend this little Gretna gem.

Yelp
We heard great things about this newly opened Thai restaurant from a friend and decided to see for ourselves. Food was delicious and service was attentive. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Hands down best shrimp pineapple fried rice. Customer service is consistent. I believe my waiters name was London and he had good hospitality skills. They recently put this one back on menu and looks like it's gonna stay on. Now I don't have to go across the river for some good Thai food

Yelp
So excited to have this gem in Old Gretna. From their beginnings as a phenomenal food truck to a brick and mortar establishment, this place knocks your socks off. First of all, the place is adorable and quaint. Secondly, the drinks are unique and delicious. Third, the staff is stellar and professional. Now the food, the quality and flavors are unmatched. Everything on the menu is delicious. The pad Thai is a fan favorite with my family. The owners of this place are some of the sweetest humans on the planet. How can you not want to continually support great owners who product great products. Cheers Thai D Jing. You've won us over!

Yelp
Food tastes good and the venue itself looks nice. But as with most Thai places recently, expect to get a whole bunch of carbs with little veggies or protein.
