Loved the atmosphere the best! Chill, modern, and welcoming. We came in late afternoon so there wasn't a wait but with their small seating area I can see the busy times being difficult. Service was good and the lady was nice. The food was good but honestly thought it was a bit bland for thai food. Though we definitely appreciated the better ingredients!! Sharing a plate and an appetizer is a great way to do lunch.

Pretty good somtam. Nice sticky rice. Veggies in the pad see ew are like carrots and US broccoli, but I'm not too picky. Noodles were fresh and soft. Larb tofu tasted fresh with a nice sauce, but I expected it to be cut smaller. Some drinks are expensive but the salads are reasonable around $12 each. Friendly service. Nice sized portions. For three people, we had leftovers.

Love this place. Large servings, delicious food. Friendly people. Parking lot has some tight spaces.

The food is incredibly delicious, and the girls working in service are sweet, beautiful, and provide excellent service. Highly recommend it. The first thing I loved was that they immediately brought water with a fruit inside. The fruit was tasty, very tasty—I recommend eating it after drinking the water. It tastes like a hybrid of lemon and orange or mandarin—not sour, but juicy and pleasant. The girl serving us was beautiful, smiling, and spoke kindly. She left a very positive impression, checking in more than once to make sure we were happy. We tried the Tom Yum soup—sooo delicious. We got it with chicken, and it was perfectly made. You could even taste the tomato, and all the spices were on point. Everything was just delicious. For the atmosphere, I’d give it a 5, but it’s missing a few decorative touches in the interior. The walls are bare, and the place is a bit small, though that’s not a big deal. Adding some decorations would enhance the vibe since the walls are quite plain. They also played great relaxing music. Overall, I didn’t regret a single penny—everything was absolutely worth it! Tips are mandatory :)

Google
The service was cool and the food was delicious. The Tom Yum was alright and on the pricey side for a single portion, thought it would be a whole pot of it for $14.99. The Phanaeng curry was flavorful and different in a good way from other places I’ve tried and the same goes for the pad Thai which had a larger portion than what I’m used to which was great. The mango with sticky rice was alright but the presentation was pretty. The egg rolls went down easily. Good staff on their hands for sure and were very helpful.

Honestly I thought all the best food was in the San Francisco Bay area, until I moved to Sacramento region, Happy to say from my location there are several farm and pop restaurants still open and some have closed that have always had outstanding food, I can't stand it up here but I love the food and I miss my Bay area waterfronts can't have it all, at least I can eat good

Google
Looking for the best Thai food in Sacramento? Look no further. This little hidden gem is deceiving. Located on Broadway, tucked away between a CrossFit place and vape shop, Thai Farmhouse nails it on flavors, freshness, and selection. Very nice people working there, food is very fresh, you just can’t go wrong. They have the best drunken noodles, penance curry, fresh spring rolls and the next thing I will try are the Thai samosas, coconut shrimp, mango rice, and Thom Kha. They even have beer and wine. Can’t wait for my next visit.

Yelp
I had a date with my friend who will be moving away soon we were both craving for thai food so this was on our list to try! We came around 2 and it was not as busy so we were seated right away. We ordered the pad thai and the mango curry with chicken for both. lol we were both so hungry and ready to devour the food that came out fast thankfully. I've only had red curry so when my friend mentioned that she wanted to try mango curry, I was curious on how it would taste. my favorite part ended up being the mango pieces in the curry. it was the perfect balance between sweet, savory and spicy! For those with a low spice tolerance, it might be pretty spicy for you so adjust accordingly.

Yelp
Went here for dinner with my cousin, who treated me (Thanks L!). I've heard great things about this place and was excited to try it. Parking is in a small plaza and we got here about 45 minutes before closing, so had no trouble finding parking. But it was a bit tight. Inside is tastefully decorated and felt cozy. There were about a dozen tables, and only 2 were occupied when we entered. We were greeted, seated and told they close soon, so we looked over the menu and ordered an appetizer and entree's. We got the samosas, which comes with taro and potato filling. This was okay. The inside has a lot of carbs and was like taking a bit of a huge chunk of mashed potatoes. It comes with a sweet (tamarind?) Sauce, which helped. For entrees, we got the drunken noodles and green curry. The drunken noodle was okay. Not as flavorful as I'm used to from other Thai places. The green curry was excellent. We got chicken as the protein for both btw. I would come back for the curry. Our waitress was nice and let us know to put in dessert early before they shut down the kitchen, but we declined dessert as we were full. This place is slightly above average, so not bad, but wouldn't be my go to for Thai.

Yelp
So delicious! Small and cute for a casual yet intimate date. The food is very yummy and colorful. We ordered fresh rolls, chicken wings, gyoza, papaya salad, seafood pad Thai and mango sticky rice. The chicken wings and papaya salad were some of my favorites but honestly everything was so good, it's hard to pick. Next time I want to try the green curry. Service is quick and welcoming. Just go!

Yelp
Came in just after 6pm, and boy did I time it right!!!! By the time my food arrived (10 mins later), almost every table was full and at least three people waiting for their take out order. They certainly stand up to the reviews I read. Very friendly service. There were two women (not just one) running the entire (7 top!!) dining room. Ordered the Kai Soi! Basically Thai ramen. Their ref curry is unlike any other I've tried. Very complex. Doesn't rely on sweet or coconut for the only flavor. I believe every other review of their various offerings and can't wait to come back and try more dishes!!!

Yelp
Lovely place. One of my best friends introduced me to this place and I've been many times since. The fresh meats and veggies in all the stir fry's, the noodles. The kao soi was a hit! The blue crab rangoons that are on special really are such! Wonderful spot!

Yelp
I just found my new favorite spot! I have driven past Thai Farm House many many times and I finally stopped in. Outside the restaurant there are hanging plants and seating. Inside is absolutely beautiful, more plants, intimate lighting, and classical music. Back in the kitchen you can hear them chatting and laughing. Overall, a beautiful place to eat. The service was great. My food came quickly. They had a lot of pick up orders, so seems the place is popular. I ordered the Red Curry. It came with a side salad, which was average, but the red curry was mouth watering and so flavorful. It warmed me up, which is just what I needed on a rainy day. I can't wait to eat my leftovers!

Yelp
I ordered takeout for my first time here so I don't have anything to add to the ambience and service. The food was very tasty and flavorful except the special. Pros: the wings and mango sticky rice were really good. I loved the noodles. I would come back to dine in so I can get the full experience. Cons: parking can be hard to find since it's a small shopping center with multiple businesses.

Yelp
So far so good! I've been here a few times and have enjoyed all the dishes we've had so far. My favorite Thai dish Pad See Ew did not disappoint! The place is very small and the parking lot is also very small so probably not good for large groups (and you might want to carpool). There is usually only 1 or 2 servers working, and they get a lot of take out orders, so the service can be slow at times.

Yelp
Wow, wow, wow! I've been meaning to try Thai Farm House forever, but for one reason or another, I kept putting it off. Recently, I've been on the hunt for a new favorite Thai spot in Sacramento since chef LAN left Thai Palace on J and Noodles to Thai For on 24th. I've tried several other highly rated Thai restaurants in the area, but none have truly impressed me--until now. I was blown away that each dish we tried was exceptional, bursting with flavor, and perfectly cut, combined, portioned cooked and seasoned. While I still need to go back to give their drunken noodles a taste test, I can confidently say this place is a my new go-to Thai Restaurant. We enjoyed some of the best soups an outstanding papaya salad, and an incredible asparagus, shrimp, and chicken dish. Each dish was perfect. --it's clear the kitchen here knows their craft. I love that the entire restaurant was ran by women there about five of them cooking in the kitchen. The restaurant itself is small, with limited seating, but it has a warm, welcoming vibe. They also do a thriving takeout business, and during our visit, I ran into some regulars picking up their orders. They couldn't stop raving about how they've been coming here for years--and I can see why. I can't believe I waited this long to try Thai Farm House. It's easily one of the best Thai spots in Sacramento, and I can't wait to come back for more.

Yelp
Very small restaurant. Always very busy with only one server ever. Don't be upset at the server, be upset that the ownership doesn't have more than one server working for them on one shift. The server is always trying her best to help all the tables and the Togo order pick ups. She always still has a smile on her face, kudos to that. Food is pricey, but it's not bad. They have a special menu but it never changes, it hangs in the wall. I would t say it's the best Thai place, but I would definitely come back. Their thai iced coffee isn't very strong, it is sweet. I wish it was stronger. Their noodle soup I would say is on the more affordable side compared to other restaurant in town. Boat noodles as an example, and not every Thai restaurant serves that. Give it a try! But you have to have patience. Or order to go and pick up.

Yelp
10/10 one of the best Thai places in sac! The restaurant is a bit smaller than I expected but it's such a homey modern spot. I had the Thai iced tea and it was delicious. I also had the mango curry with shrimp and OMG it was amazing! The flavor was so rich and creamy and the perfect amount of heat. The mango was also very sweet and melts in your mouth. Definitely recommend. We finished off with the fried banana and coconut ice cream and it was perfect because it wasn't too sweet and the bananas complimented really well with the coconut ice cream. The service was great as well, all the ladies were very friendly and brought out our food quickly. Can't wait to try other items on their menu!
google avatar

Kendra R.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai food spots in Sac! I've had multiple different dishes and have enjoyed most of them. Today, I got drunken noodles and the chicken wings. Everything was enjoyable, however, the drunken noodles lacked a bit of flavor. I'm not sure if it's because the spice level was very low, but I don't think that should determine the flavor. It should add to it (in my opinion). The chicken wings were nice and crispy and very flavorful (maybe too flavorful b/c it got salty as I continued to eat them). I will be back to try something else on their menu despite the minor issues I experienced today.

Yelp
Food: So happy to find this Sacramento gem. We ordered curry, spicy asparagus, chicken wings and banana with ice cream. Every dish was amazing, delicious and flavorful. Customer service is excellent. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Place was cozy and clean. Shared parking spaces. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times now and have enjoyed both visits. The place is small, but quaint and clean... Not a dingy hole-in-the-wall. The counter is always stacked with to-go orders, ready for pickup. This tells me they have earned their respects from the community and have gained a good customer base. The staff is friendly and attentive. They are helpful in offering suggestions and answering questions about the menu. The ingredients are fresh and you can tell the food is quality selected and prepped. Get the spring rolls with shrimp! The peanut sauce is so good.
google avatar

Ann H.

Yelp
I ordered the combination drunken noodles with tofu and beef for take out. I appreciate that I can choose 2 types of protein. I enjoyed the flavor and it was really delicious. The noodles were chewy and it was not soggy by the time I returned home. I am a little disappointed that there was only 1 piece of tofu. Overall, I would visit again in the future.

Yelp
The food was fantastic! It was so hot that we knew it was fresh, fresh, fresh! I enjoyed the Pad Thai and it was enough for 2 meals. My husband ate drunken noodles with beef and egg rolls. Their gluten free labeling on the menu made me feel safer and my food made me feel fine. Great experience

Yelp
Thai Farm House continues to SERVE! Even years later their food is still delicious, addicting, and fresh. The husband and I usually do takeout, however I decided to dine in with my mom. The place is still bustling as ever! Service was super friendly and welcoming. It's a cozy little spot that'd be cute for date night. The food is perfect every time and this spot is definitely a must for us! FYI: the husband and I live within walking distance between TWO other Thai restaurants and yet we still choose to DRIVE here rather than go to the closer options!
google avatar

Christina T.

Yelp
I've only ordered from DoorDash but despite delivery times this always arrives fresh and hot. The order always comes as described and presentation is still nice for being in to go boxes. Everything I've tried from here thus far has been delicious. I would come back for the mango black sticky rice alone. The sweetness from the mango is not overpowering and the black rice has a texture that prevents the dish from being mushy.

Yelp
3rd time here Freshest Thai food I've ever had Not oily Tastes so clean and the sauces are amazing I'll be back I love it!!!!! The AC was on :-)

L A.

Yelp
Amazing Thai food. I've been twice and have Loved everything I have had. Soups. Drunken noodles. Fried rice. Will definite back. Parking can be an issue.

Patricia M.

Yelp
My favorite Thai restaurant in Sacramento. The service is excellent and food is fresh and flavorful. It's tucked in a small shopping strip and the dining room is small but very clean.
google avatar

Riya S.

Yelp
Honestly the best Thai food I've had so far in Sacramento. Everything was so well seasoned and cooked well. There's parking out front but not too much, maybe would be more of an issue during weekends. The special menu items like the claypot were delicious and though the wings were a bit on the smaller side they were so crispy yet juicy. Definitely will be my go to Thai place, no other spot has come close!
google avatar

Ashante L.

Yelp
This is my go-to neighborhood Thai spot! I've drove by it many years and finally decided to give it a go and very glad I did. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. My favorite here is the Basil Fried Rice. The portions are great.
google avatar

Sargun S.

Yelp
I don't understand the good reviews. Food was lacking flavor all around. The orange chicken tasted like orange marmalade was boiled and used as sauce. Overall not impressed

Yelp
Small corner restaurant with loads of flavor Food: Avocado curry - 5/5 - definitely a favorite; probably the best Thai style curry and avocado curry in Sacramento Mango curry - 5/5 - another delicious favorite; a must try if you love mango and curry Pad Thai - 5/5 - absolute recommended; probably the best pad Thai that I've had in Sacramento! Drunken noodle - 5/5 - another classic dish made right; delicious!! Kao soi - 5/5 - excellent version of this Northern Thai regional dish Crying tiger - 3.5/5 - OK but definitely I've had better more savory and spicy versions elsewhere Ba mee kow - 2.5/5 - essentially a bootleg version Chinese wonton and BBQ pork soup... don't get this!!! *these 2 curries only available with chicken or tofu options Tom tum soup - 5/5 - excellent aromatic spices and perfect flavor Thai-style samosa - 5/5 - a slight tweak of the classic Indian samosa (pastry stuffed with potatoes) Ambience: Small indoor seating Service: Fast and friendly

Yelp
A small quaint place but packs big flavor in their food. The wait staff is on top of their game in providing expedient and great tasting food to your table. A great find while in Sacramento for a few days.

Yelp
Tiny quaint place but totally worth the wait! Food is amazing, clean ingredients and great service.

Yelp
A small restaurant with lots of traffic, very delicious and super nice waitress! I even take out the remaining green curry soup, too good to waste! They are pretty clean and the vibe is good, come with party less than 6, the fried calamari is not that good so can past! Everything else taste delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
I went during a Sunday for lunch right when they opened up. The service was casual and lax and the place was clean. I got a thai tea that was good and was delivered to our table maybe 5 minutes after I ordered it, but we did not get our waters until halfway through our meal, so about 30 minutes after we asked for water, and we were one of the only 2-3 tables. The lettuce wraps were a bit bland. The Pad See Ew was very bland and there was not an option to add spice or change the spice level. The carrots were different levels of thickness and so some of them were not cooked fully. I asked for chili oil so that I could add some flavor/spice and it did help a bit. Someone also ordered a curry with calamari but got a fish curry instead and when he brought it up they asked if they could just add calamari instead of making him a new one. It was fine since we were on a time limit but the fish and calamari were hard to differentiate between in the curry. The service was just not very attentive and the food was very bland. I don't hate it but I wouldn't come back because there wasn't anything enticing.

Yelp
This spot is a hidden gem & it's my absolute favorite Thai restaurant! My to-go orders are always prepared right & for dining in, the service is quick & restaurant is always clean. 10/10 - Yellow Curry Chicken: the curry was very flavorful, hearty & warm/savory; the best curry I ever had. The shrimp option is just as yummy. 10/10 - Drunken Noodles Chicken: the noodles had a great chew, seasoned well, & a nice char; chicken was juicy & they give a good amount of protein. 10/10 - Pad Thai Chicken: also has a great chew & lots of tofu & chicken in it; it's not too sweet or eggy. 10/10 - Thai Tea: the best Thai tea I've ever tasted! Must order for sure! 10/10 - Housemade Chili Oil: ask for extra because it's addicting & you'll want it on everything. 9/10 - Boat Noodles: the broth is very hearty & beefy; the noodles have a bit more of a bite; it's a filling soup on its own. 9/10 - Spicy Chicken Wings: the flavors are complex & I can't put a finger on what's in the sauce, but it's delicious on the wings; these are a bit overpriced for what you get, but the flavor of the wings makes me want to order them again. 9/10 - Crab Wontons: they taste like a really good classic fried wonton; they stay crispy even as a to-go order 8/10 - Tom Kha: it's more milky than I prefer & doesn't punch too much flavor of lemongrass; it's a bit pricey for what's given.

Yelp

Yelp
BEST YUMMY THAI! Always enjoy coming here it's always a wonderful experience. From the food to the service. Gorgeous atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Food was good and tasted as expected! I had the Thai Tea, Fresh Roll (shrimp), and the classic Pad Thai (seafood). All were well-balanced in flavor. Service was fast. I waited about 15 minutes. The location has a parking lot and has indoor seating.

Yelp
It's been a while since I last visited Thai Farm House and I'm sorry I waited so long to return! My husband and our friend were downtown and decided to grab dinner at Thai Farm House. It was around 7pm and we were greeted and seated right away. I ordered the red curry with chicken and brown rice, my husband ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, and our friend ordered a crying tiger with white rice. My husband and I also split a cup of Thai iced tea. The service was super friendly and even though it was nearing the later part of the evening for dinner, customers were still coming in to pick up takeout. Our orders didn't take long and they arrived looking and smelling inviting as ever. The fresh-from-the-wok flavor was mouth wateringly delicious and I had to eventually stop myself from eating to the point of discomfort because it was just that good. Luckily, the leftovers kept well and was enjoyed as lunch the next day! I will definitely return soon and was so glad I had the chance to dine here again.

Bill M.

Yelp
This place is so freakin delicious! Every dish I've tried here is great! Only problem is i can't get enough and leave so full after every meal! Staff is really friendly as well! Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Cute little Thai place. The workers were so nice and kind. We needed our food ready in an hour and they were able to accommodate. Does get busy later in the day. Food it self was soo good:) would come again!

Yelp
The food and service are wonderful! Takeout is easy to order on line. Recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Very impressed - this will definitely be added to our rotation of Thai restaurants. Enjoyed the pineapple fried rice - the cashews were a nice touch. Tom Kha soup was as expected. The spicy eggplant was an excellent combination of flavors. Pot stickers were standard. Definitely will be trying again!

Yelp
Passing through and visiting friends, we found this restaurant. We had a pretty large group and they were able to accommodate us quickly and provided incredible service. One of our friends has dietary restrictions and Brad was able to get something made off menu. The boat noodle soup was delicious and the portions are very generous. My daughter had the beef pad Thai and and I like the tangy versus sweet. They definitely use tamarind, in my opinion is much better. I also appreciate the large cuts of tofu. The seafood rad na was really good and also a very good portion. The pork belly was probably my favorite. It was crunchy even after being stir fried. If ever in the area, I would come back.

Yelp
This must be an Off night for them but I have eaten a lot of Thai food all over, I know what authentic Thai food tastes like and this spot unfortunately did not make the cut. This is a tiny restaurant with about 8 small tables. There's a cashier/owner and 1 waiter so expect slow or poor service. The menu it's pretty typical Thai dishes, but they are supposed to be specialized in BBQ or grill meat? So of course we order the crying tiger, which is a BBQ beef dish and one of their specialties. Unfortunately, you are not getting grilled steak, it's more like thinly sliced beef grilled on a cast iron pan and served over steam veggies and rice. It was super bland and you get like 8 small pieces. Keep in mind, in a typical Thai restaurant when you order your dishes Medium spicy, it is expected to be spicy for Americans...at this place, medium spicy means no spice at all. We tried to stick to the basic Thai dishes as it's hard to mess this up. Our papaya salad was not spicy even though I ordered medium heat, the drunken noodles, also ordered to be medium, however it came out mild. There were no wok Smokey flavor at all. The angel wings were way too sweet, the fried calamari were very greasy and flavorless. Overall, everything we ordered today was bland and this is not normal for a Thai restaurant. To make it worse, we only saw our waiter when we order our food, when she brought the food and took a while to flag her down to get our check. There were a few other customers waiting for their food and check also. Having short staff didn't help the experience at all, but again the restaurant it's tiny so it shouldn't be that hard to check on your customers. One star of location, and one star for cleanliness.

Yelp
Came here to catch up with one of my friends after working a 24 hour shift, let me just say: much needed comfort food and good service. I liked the simple but aesthetic furniture and decorations. I got the avocado curry with black rice and tofu, the flavors complemented each other well and the spice of the curry was just enough for my mild-moderate spice tolerance. We also shared the mango and black sticky rice for dessert. There was less mango than I expected but still very delicious! Will come back to try other things!
google avatar

Laura T.

Yelp
I phone in an order and they said the food would be ready in about 15 minutes. It was very fast since I was just a couple blocks away. And by the time I came it was ready. I like that they had a nice little parking lot and also some residential street parking my nearby as well. Service was very good and the interior was really cute and cozy. I got the pad Thai with beef which was about $16.26 & it came with a slice of lemon and the crushed peanuts in the corner of the box. I really liked that because I'm not a big fan of peanuts and have to brush them off my noodles occasionally at other places. The noodles were very nice! There was a good balance between the proteins and the noodles.

Yelp
Food was fresh and excellent tasting. Service was stellar as well! I've been here many times and I'm never disappointed. Thanks Thai farm house bbq & bistro!

Yelp
This has been my go to Thai spot recently, it always hits the spot. The restaurant itself is small but I've never had an issue dining in, I live nearby so I usually take my food to go. Their drunken noodles and avocado curry are my go to, but I also really like their Tom Kha soup. And of course, no visit to a Thai restaurant is complete without a Thai tea.

Yelp
Really tried hard to like this place. We had the pineapple rice but it lack flavor, it didn't deliver .. the server recommended chicken dish but the chicken tasted old and also no flavor . Service was ok , food came fast but the server kept forgetting my order not sure if this is because it was close to serving time Unfortunately wouldn't be coming back to this place at all

Yelp
Really impressed with the service and taste of food! It took them under 10 minutes to prepare and package my order of 3 portions. The staff are super friendly, and to the best of my ability, they will accommodate all customers.

Yelp
Honestly one of my favorite Thai spots so far in Sacramento! The restaurant is more intimate in that is small, but we were still comfortable as a party of 5. The service was amazing! They were very attentive and checked in regularly while refilling our water! And most importantly the food was all so delicious! We ordered the chicken satay, calamari, spicy chicken wings, drunken noodles, Thai basil fried rice, panang curry, spicy eggplant, and the crying tiger steak dish! Everything had great flavors! Believe it or not we cleared everything!
