As a Thai food is not really authentic yet but not bad at all. Service is perfect and atmosphere is very nice. Food taste not bad at all just not really authentic. Overall its good.

Excellent food & great service in a stylish ambience. We love to come to the Thai Garden already for many years. Our favorite dish during our latest visit was the Gaeng Kiaw Wan Gung - Green Curry with Tiger Prawns 👌

As starter my favourite was Paper Prawns Gung Grabueang. For the main course we ordered 3 different dishes but panaeng nuea prig thai oon is just on another level. If you think that tiramisu wouldnt taste good, you make a mistake because it is heavenly delicious. The staff is very professional and kind. We also enjoyed live music. The atmosphere is incredible. Expensive but worth every penny.

Curry… curry…and MORE CURRY!! Get the curry and it won’t let you down, I forgot exactly what I got but it was good, it had red curry with a piece of steak so yeah. But the veggies that came with it were also delicious, they weren’t hard to chew but were soft. But for me the star of the show was the tea. Which Tea?!? The Raspberry Lime Tea, it’s refreshing and also it wasn’t too sweet, it had a nice balance of flavors.

🤮👎👎👎 Not good restaurant for us at all! Very bad service, major mistake by bringing the wrong food and refused to take back. We thought it looked nice and fancy. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone just because it looks nice. Not worth for the high price you pay! The waitress took the wrong order. We ordered Traditional Green Curry with Beef. But the waitress brought wrong dish - Greef curry with Beef tenderloin. The supervisor was not friendly and not nice to accept their mistakes and tried to refuse to take the dish back at the first. The waitress was not attentive to the tables and had to wait for long time for everything.

Immersed in a delightful Thai ambiance, this restaurant offers an authentic culinary journey. While the curries tantalize the taste buds with their rich flavors, the Pad Thai, while enjoyable, could use a touch more finesse. Though prices lean towards the higher end, the exceptional service justifies every penny. The rice, a seemingly simple accompaniment, surprises with its exquisite quality. Not to be missed are the delectable satay and the comforting Tom Yum soup, adding layers of satisfaction to the dining experience.

A rather plain doorway, one which you would not look twice if you are looking to eat in a good restaurant literally opens into a paradise. A reception area with a few tables at the entry level leads to a grand stairway which takes you to the main dining hall. At the top of these stairs you realize that this is PARADISE. 21 steps down and we were seated in a cozy nook of one of the loveliest Thai restaurants we have ever visited. The beauty of the artifacts and statues on display were enhanced with the dim lighting and our hostess for the evening BANGON appeared with a smile that lasted all evening. She helped us with the vegetarian fare, ensured that the food was free from any egg, Fish stock or oyster sauce. The food was on the mark with the right flavors and the addition of asparagus in the soup and green curry was a new one for us. All in all a lovely evening, a bit pricey but well worth every penny spent. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lucerne who desires some spice on their meal. PS. The only negative I found was that the place was a little warm, specially once you have had some drinks and partaken of a spicy hot soup or a starter.

Thai Garden is a remarkable Thai restaurant that offers an excellent dining experience. The service provided by the staff is impeccable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food is simply delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic Thai flavors and expertly cooked. The staff's knowledge of gluten-free options is outstanding, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience for those with dietary restrictions. The restaurant's warm ambiance and attention to detail in decor contribute to its overall charm. Whether seeking a memorable Thai meal or gluten-free options, Thai Garden is highly recommended for its exceptional service and delectable cuisine.

Yelp
The best Thai food I have ever had! The spring rolls & the pad Thai were so delicious. Highly highly recommend coming here!!

Yelp
We were so excited when we learned about the restaurant on google map, and the so disappointed about the food quality. Nothing seems right! I am from Asia and I have been around the world, I tasted the authentic thai food in Thailand, and I know the food offered here is lacking so many things. The yum woon sen, salty and sour and that was it. This dish needs a hint of sweetness. 2/5 This is supposed to be spicy but not at all. The tom kha gai, too much coconut milk, and the chicken is over-cooked. I could not swallow the chicken. 2/5 The pad thai main dish is the worst. It tasted bland, noodles were over-cooked, broken. There was no cashew. 0/5 we abandoned the whole dish. Thai cocktail 0/5. Mix of syrup and ice with a few pieces of fruits. This tastes like water. Shrimp rolls. Since I can make this at home, it is an okay dish, and i would "envy" who cant make this right lolz. Overall, this restaurant is the worst one I had during my two weeks trip in Switzerland. And the worst Thai food restaurant I have ever had in my life.

Yelp
One of the neatest restaurants we've ever been to! The ambiance is second to none, and the authenticity of a Thai restaurant in Switzerland was so unexpected! The pad thai was incredible, quite possibly the best I've ever had. My husband had one of the curry dishes and loved it. They bring out more rice to serve you if/when you run out. The portions are big! They have a nice wine menu as well. This is a place we'd dine at again if we find ourselves in Lucerne again.

Yelp
Fun ambience reminiscent of Thailand. Food was surprisingly good and high quality. Service was also attentive. Nice change from typical Swiss fare.

Yelp
Yellow curry was by far the best I have ever had!! Pad Thai was just ok... unique presentation and ambience made up for it!

Yelp
While the food was fine, there was a shard of glass in the sauces they gave for the appetizer. When I gave it to the waitress, they told me it was was a chip from the plate that somehow made it into the sauces. They gave me a glass of Prosecco but that didn't really make up for it at 103 CHF per person for the meal.

Yelp
Truly a fantastic restaurant. We went based on the reviews. Because of the unusual heat and it being midweek, we were there almost alone. We did the Siam Tasting Menu and it was superb. Has all the usual suspects but done with spectacular pizazz and flair. From egg rolls to satay to tiger prawns, the starters were great! The soups were too die for. I seriously would return for the coconut chicken soup all by itself! The main dishes were also outstanding and truly enjoyed the chicken in banana leaves the most. There was a dish that was basically sweet and sour chicken which was just average and didn't seem up to par with the rest of the menu. Couldn't have been happier with the service and the over the top posh atmosphere. The service was spectacular. There was a traditional Thai musician and she was simply lovely and created perfect ambiance. Cheers to the entire team for creating a wonderful surprising experience in the middle of Lucerne! Pro tip: there is another Asian theme restaurant street-side called MeKong I believe. This is NOT the restaurant you want. You have to go to the side of the building and want a non-descript door.

Yelp
Don't let the facade fool you. One can walk past the restaurant and not know it. The food is pricy but excellent. We had Tom yum soup, pad Thai, Thai curry, chicken satay, vegetable spring rolls. The portion of the chicken satay and the vegetable spring rolls were generous. The pad Thai came with an interesting touch. The noodles were cooked in an omelette. While the satay tasted good the noodles were thin and there were no peanuts. The service was outstanding and so was the ambience of the restaurant. Overall a 4.5 stars.

Yelp
Ambiance is fantastic! I would definitely recommend making a reservation if you're going Friday or Saturday evening (you can do it online). It's part of the Hotel Astoria and is a Michelin Star restaurant. We were luckily able to make same day reservations for Friday night but the following evening was booked pretty solid. Food presentation is beautiful! Not only delicious but beautifully presented. Tom Ka Gai is unlike any I've had before. It's very creamy and velvety. The lemongrass balance is perfection. We were able to make a substitution for the Gaeng Curry Nuea (masaman yellow curry) from beef to chicken. This dish was HEAVEN! Having had a little bite, we all wished this was our entree. We also had a Panaeng Nuea Prig Thai Oon (red curry) and a minced beef dish with basil but I forgot the name. All entrees are served with a hot plate to keep it warm and steamed rice is included. Service was excellent! Good teamwork from the staff. We loved the hot towels provided after dinner. The aroma was delightfully floral and refreshing. The perfect way to complete a meal (although I advised my family not to get to use to that treatment). We will 100% be back on our next trip to Lucerne :)

Yelp
There are good Thai restaurants, very good Thai restaurants, and there is the Thai Garden. What an amazing moment for my boyfriend's birthday. The service was just perfect, so were the meals. The ambiance makes you feel like traveling to Asia... do not hesitate to book a table in this restaurant. You will definitely love it!

Yelp
Thai Garden was a great way to spend our last night in Switzerland. The staff is so courteous and the food was amazing!! We ordered the family meal for three and we are stuffed. Our waitress was magnificent, her suggestions were spot on. Definitely a place to try when you are visiting!!

Yelp
I don't know where to begin. The entrance to this restaurant is magical, the ambiance is just perfect, real candle lights at every table, a tuk-tuk for decor, Palace looking pillars, low music playing in the background with water crashing making it sound relaxing and soothing. Then the pad Thai was to die for. Added chicken with dried chili #58. Fast service, friendly hosts, numerous people helping you with food and drinks. Great restaurant. Definitely worth the price

Yelp
Really good service. I liked the ambience...the food was awesome. Located right in the city center close to the Renaissance hotel.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and music, delicious food. Great service. Hit all the right notes with us after a tiring day. Strongly recommend.

Yelp
A friend of ours celebrated his birthday in this restaurant. The service was very attentive. The food was good, can't say if it was worth 15 Gault-Millau points. The setting is very posh, which takes you by surprise, entering the unremarkable entrance.
