Belcampo Meat Co. Is Reportedly Under Investigation By the Federal Government | Eater SF

"I learned that after almost 20 years and a long run as a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand recommendation, Thai House Restaurant will close on December 24 because co-owners Sam Sendee and Marysa Sendee intend to retire, and that the restaurant’s various sauces will soon be available for purchase online." - Paolo Bicchieri

Today my wife and I enjoyed this wonderful Thai Restaurant. I highly recommend! I had Broccoli Beef yum! And my wife and I split Tom Kha Gai Soup very good! And my wife had Pineapple Fried Rice, yum. Service was attentive and caring! She kept my Tea full and followed up multiple times to ensure we were good. This is our new go-to Thai restaurant! Hope to see you there!

We thought of trying this place out, since we enjoy Thai food and we’re always on a search to find the best in the area. We got the pork and shrimp shomai, which they call dumplings. The wrap was on the sticky side and the flavor seemed a little off. Not the best I’ve had. When it comes to Thai food, I always want to try their Pad Thai, and well, it was a bit of a disappointment. It was very light in flavor and had very little sauce if any. It wasn’t bad. I just prefer it with more sauce and flavor, which it didn’t have, so I wasn’t a fan. The Basil Fried rice was pretty good. It seemed like the others I’ve tried before, so if I was to return, I’d probably order that again. My boyfriend likes to try the pad kee-mow and this one was a let down for him, since it didn’t have the same taste that he likes.

✨Best Thai Food in Arlington✨ We love the flavors of every dish we’ve tried here. You can customize the spice level on each dish and our only complaint is that their prices are really high for the portion sizes. 🥘 We love ordering the Tom Yum, Drunken Noodles, Sum Tum (papaya salad), Roasted Duck, and Mango Sticky Rice. 🍗Our yellow curry had chicken in it and the chicken was a little overcooked and dry. 🥡 We typically do take out-here, and it’s ready in about 20min. We have also eaten in the restaurant and the decor seems outdated but the service was always really attentive and good. Overall, I’d recommend this place to anyone! I think it has the best flavors of any Thai restaurant in Arlington.

I absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant point I was able to speak a little bit of Thai, which was nice that the waiter was from Northern Thailand. So then we had an interesting short conversation. I tried a new dish and it was delicious! they fill up the restaurant with the Thai artwork was just very nice. They had great pictures. It was spacious and clean and the food was amazing. I would definitely go back!

Tucked away around the corner from the mall. Friendly service lots of seating. Ordered several dishes with a different level of spice. That way we wouldn’t overdo it by too hot too soon. The Thai fried rice excellent flavor and big portions. Prices really good too. The Thai noodle with chicken a level 4 was very good. We thought just a few limes to squeeze might have improved. But that’s just us. Still very tasty. The Thai garlic dish we went with level 5 and it was just right served with a heart shaped serving of white rice. Really flavorful and the veggies cooked just how we like them. We had good size portions and still had leftovers. Definitely coming back here when in the area. Want to try some of the other items they have.

I have been coming here for over 10 years and the quality continues to impress me! I live elsewhere now, but every time I come to Arlington for the holidays, this is my first stop. Best drunken noodles (Pad Kee Mao) I have had!! They are amazing every single time, can’t find them this perfect anywhere else. I love the people here as well. They’re all so warm and welcoming. My friend and I came on a night they had karaoke for their staff and they let us sing a few songs - Thai House is the best!!!

We usually got take out from here, but decided to dine in today, the food was good, but the service made me, my best friend and my mother all uncomfortable. My best friend had ordered a dish she had never tried before, and determined that there was something not quite right about it. She had me and my mother try it, and we thought it tasted not quite right, and we all thought it just not to our liking, as none of us had tried the dish before. Everything else was all well and good, until we asked to exchange the dish, the male bespectacled server quickly became defensive, asking why we would order something we don't like, she said that she had never tried it, he finally took it away after some more arguing, and asked what she wanted in place of it. We became upset, but the final straw being him coming over to argue some more after dropping off the replacement dish, asking what we wanted to do with the offending dish, that none of us liked. My friend left to collect herself with me following not long after to check on her, I found out later that during our absence he came back to our table and argued with my mother. We returned inside with the intent to pay and leave, we boxed up our food, and went to pay, and he had decided to go over to the only other table in the restaurant for the sole purpose of insulting us to the other customers. The payment counter was very close to their table. We quickly left and decided to not return.

We've been regulars here for years, but we usually do take-out. This time we did dine-in and it was memorably unpleasant. Everything started fine. Good appetizers, decent Thai tea. However, when our main course came out there was an issue. I didn't like my dish. I had my party members try it, and we all felt like something wasn't quite right, but we couldn't pin point it, so we came to the conclusion that it just wasn't to our taste. When we asked the server to take it back and exchange it for something else, his formerly nice demeanor turned condescending and rude. He demanded to know "why I ordered something I don't like". I explained I'd never had this dish before and didn't know if I would like it. He continued to snap and argue with me until he took the plate and brought something else. I stepped outside to collect myself (my friend followed), and he came back to the table and began to snap at my friend's elderly mother in our absence. He argued with her about the dish again, until she told him to just bring the damn check. My friend and I returned and we boxed up our food and went to pay for the meal at the counter. As we were paying, he approached another table and began to gossip with them about us. As. We. Were. Paying. We were maybe 10 ft away from them. We paid and left, immediately deciding to never go back. The other workers were polite and tried their best, but this one man made us all very uncomfortable and frustrated.
