Yelp
This rating is not based on the food, because we couldn't get any. It is based strictly on the business, which they are obviously having difficulty running.
We like Thai food, read good reviews, have tried most others in Spokane and Spokane Valley, so drove about 15 miles to try them for lunch, TWICE.
The first time was on a Tuesday. We encountered a sign on the door saying closed. Thought that was an unusual day for closing, but there we were. Yesterday (Thursday), drove there again. Two cars in parking lot was bad sign. When we got to the front door, locked, another handwritten sign read that they are CLOSED FOR SIT DOWN, and are now only doing takeout.
We are a little particular in wanting fresh, hot food served at a table rather than warm or cold food transported in a cardboard or styrofoam box. I would guess that the prices are not lower but will never know.
I do understand that 90+% of restaurants and businesses do not even try to update info about hours or anything else about themselves updated online, but if you prefer takeout, cold (not freshly made) and go to the effort of driving to them, I recommend calling, first. Who knows what other changes there might be (or if the number is still in service).
