Thai Niyom

"Hidden in the shadow of skyscrapers is this gem of a restaurant, which got its start serving family recipes, but now offers an array of Thai cuisine from Chiang Mai to Hat Yai. It is a great place to sample delicious Thai cooking from every region on the same table. Quality ingredients are sourced locally and turned into dishes like the recommended Phuket stir-fried pork belly with shrimp paste and the Chiang Mai Combo, a Northern Thai-style appetiser plate." - Michelin Inspector

What a great little place. It doesn’t look like 5 star restaurant (don’t be put off by the back street look and very glittery sign) but it definitely delivers. Recommended by Michelin year by year and it truly deserves it. Pad Thai was best I had in Bangkok and crispy omelette delivered both on taste and texture. Prices are good and portions huge. Service was friendly, decor very nice.

Very interesting place with two floors. The entrance was a hidden door we almost missed this. There’s a whole wide selection of Thai cuisine with a local vibe so definitely would love to try more of what they have to offer. Unfortunately there’s only one tummy and no space for their desserts. All 3 dishes I ordered were excellent. Crispy omelette can be shared portion big enough for 3-4 pax. The beef was excellent! Price is reasonable too but maybe more for tourists than locals.

very kind and attentive staff. wagyu steak was amazing but very tiny portion would order two next time. they didn’t have red or green curry for the day but we had delicious tom yum soup. also got crispy omelette, pretty good stir fried flat noodles were our least favorite.

Great small authentic Thai food restaurant with car parking available outside. The soup was on the spicy side while papaya salad was less spicy than usual. Overall a great experience and not too expensive. Expect to pay about 500 baht per person for diner without drinks. Advise making reservations ahead of time as they are always busy.

The awards are well deserved. First-class Thai food. I was impressed by the wonderful and delicious food served here. The service was excellent, the food fresh, and the presentation beautiful. In short, Thai food is the best. Everything was delicious. The service was incredible. I recommend coming here 1000%.

Cosy dining place. Food is served warm, fresh and delicious. Plenty of food item in the menu. I enjoyed the spicy food options. Do inform the restaurant if you may like less spicy food.

The menu is really big. You have everything from all the parts of Thailand. The Thai tea with toasted coconut juice is really good. Stirfry papaya with mince pork omelette, and fried river prawn with hot steaming rice is a perfect combo.

Great food in a beautiful atmosphere with exceptional service. We don’t eat pork, so we ordered other food in full course. All food are really delicious and tasty. The menu is very rich makes us confused which one of those many delicious plates to order. Desert of coconut ice cream with rise is something not to be missed. Prices are not very high. Very much recommended.
