We ordered Spicy Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Khao Soi, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Mango Sticky Rice. And I must say everything was delicious. Absolutely loved it!

Google
Exceptional welcome & services by Calista and associates! ALL of our menu options were eagerly described during our (3) 1st time visit at the downtown Vancouver WA location! We ordered the following FRESHLY prepared MEALS: Crab fried rice#68, Kwai Tiew Tom Yum-Shrimp, Pork, Squid#64, Goeng Ped Dang Ped Yang-Roasted Duck Curry#57, MAKI: California Roll substitute REAL Crab, Boston Roll-avocado/tuna. Artistic condiment presentation with REAL ORCHIDS! APPETIZERS:Coconut Prawns, Crispy Potstickers-chicken/cilantro DRINKS: Coconut Juice, Pineapple Juice. It took some time for serving our orders we ordered in stages. WELL WORTH IT because they were FRESHLY MADE to order & Tasted It! WE'LL BE BACK! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Google
Grabbed a to-go order of Pad Thai from Thai Orchid and it definitely impressed. The flavor was rich and balanced, without that overly sweet ketchup taste or artificial pink color you sometimes find at other spots. What really caught my attention was the packaging, it came sealed like a bubble tea cup, which was a first for me. I expected the noodles to get soggy from the steam, but they stayed fresh and perfectly textured. Solid spot for takeout, I’ll be ordering again.

Google
They have the freshest sushi ever! Flavorful and delicious. My order was messed up and they were quick to fix the error. Can’t wait to come again🤩

My first time comíng here and it was okay it wasn't what i expected but it was okay. The food had hardly any flavor it was definitely missing something. The server was very nice and the place is pretty relaxing....

Google
I had an amazing experience at Thai Orchid! The interior is beautifully decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our meal. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! Every dish was packed with authentic flavors, and the portions were generous. We left feeling full and satisfied. If you’re in the Vancouver area and craving tasty Thai food, this is the place to go.

Fantastic dinner again. This time had the Evil Jungle Prince (very hot). Spiciness was exactly what I want in a 4 out of 5.

Love the food our family favorite to go to !!! Love the Thai omelette my favorite

Yelp
The lunch specials are awesome! I ordered the pad kee ma and thought it was delicious. I love how they're vegan friendly and very accommodating. They immediately asked questions regarding food contamination so I love how thoughtful they were. Accurate spice level according to their menu. I also really enjoyed the Thai iced tea with coconut milk. Great spot for a large amount of people too.

Yelp
I stopped in for lunch today. We have a Thai orchid in Portland that I love. I thought this would be the same. It wasn't. The staff was excellent. Very friendly very welcoming. I ordered the pad Thai with a side of jasmine rice. The rice was good, but the pad Thai could've been much better. It had a weird tasting sauce to it that I wasn't used to for pad Thai. The noodles weren't pad Thai noodles they were more like Angel hair pasta. I could've dealt with all that as flavor pallets differ from person to person, but the crushed peanuts they came with it were stale. That ruins the meal. I don't live in the Vancouver area so my return will not come. There is definitely not a destination restaurant.

Yelp
This was my first time dining here and it was delicious! We came in on a Wednesday night and were able to be seated right away. We ordered a beer and a lychee mojito. The mojito was really good! For food, we got the Tom Ka soup with chicken, orchid roll and pad see ew with chicken. All had great flavor and we enjoyed our meal. I will say that service was a little bit in the slower side. Overall, we enjoyed our experience dining here.

Yelp
Excellent service, reasonable prices, very well decorated and maintained restaurant and tasty food. Lunch specials are a good deal. Those who regularly read my reviews, know that I often check out the restrooms, as an indicator of how clean the restaurant is overall, and this place did not disappoint. Very well appointed, maintained and spotless facilities.

Yelp
Great selection of thai food and sushi. Super convenient lunch spot downtown and walking distance to the county government buildings, courthouse, and farmers market (Esther Short Park) area. Friendly service and quick if you are ordering sushi.

Yelp
Normally the experience here is decent. Not the best, not the worst. Ordered take out recently and was shocked at the amount of curry they served for the price. The container was half full. I've never been to a Thai restaurant that served a half filled container. Not only was it practically just sauce, but it didn't come with any rice to eat it with. That's another $15 apparently. If we wanted soup we would have ordered it. The other entree - lemongrass chicken was okay. Honestly didn't taste fresh, and a bit too salty. It seems that when restaurants get too many inflated 5 star reviews the quality goes down - maybe they need to focus on quality control measures over time.

Yelp
Ordered a spicy tuna roll but spicy it was not. 0/10 if labeled a spicy tuna roll but 8/10 if labeled a regular tuna roll. Also had the chicken pad Thai which had good flavor but the noodles were drenched in sauce which was overpowering the dish.

Yelp
People, the raving reviews are spot on. This is THE Thai place in Vancouver. The flavors and quality of food is fantastic, and the service is extremely friendly and courteous. We had a cocktail, two thai teas (perfectly sweet and rich), coconut prawns (lightly battered and so crispy), tom yum soup, green curry with chicken (hot and decadent), pad thai with chicken, shrimp and tofu (good god, the smoky, savory flavor here was extremely good!), and sticky mango rice for dessert (divine!). We were blown away - everything was SO good. Come here and marvel at the authenticity and quality of these Thai flavors. Simply the best. The only Thai restaurant we will ever go to from now on.

Yelp
This place is very nice and the atmosphere is what your paying for. The food was okay and it doesn't taste authentic. Service was great. Not wow about this place but this is the type of place I would go just to have a nice cocktail at a pretty place. that's it.
google avatar

Yelp
The pad thai was delicious and a large serving size. The crab rangoons were different than I've had. I wouldn't say they were the greatest but they were okay. The packaging was super cute and I loved the recyclable bag it all comes in. I had my food delivered

Yelp
First time here & the food was amazing! I love how they offer sushi! The ambience was peaceful and great service! I had the Orchid and Phoenix rolls - very flavorful and fresh. I really enjoyed it :) The chicken Khoa soi was also flavorful - the heat was perfect! We ended up ordering mango sticky rice to go & the sweetness was just right as well! All in all, a great experience! Definitely coming back :D

Yelp
Very nice spot in Vancouver. Very rarely do I feel that a place can do two cuisines well, but this place pulls off some legit Thai and Japanese. Good lunch menu, smaller portions for less, which is awesome. Got some level 5 (Thai Hot) Tom Yum and salmon roe nigiri. Off combo, but worked for me. Around 20$. Service is fast and they check back in often. Parking can be a challenge in this area a peak lunch hour, so I'd try and come a little early or late, as the business crowd is big.
google avatar

Ethan M.

Yelp
Food is good. No complaints there. Portions are tiny. Same price as the other Thai places around here half the portion. Not worth the price. Won't be ordering from here again. Also asked for utensils and didn't get them.
google avatar

Yelp
Thai Orchid is located in a less trafficked area of Downtown Vancouver, but still near the waterfront. Walking in there's lots of seating both inside and out. Went on an early Friday evening so got seated right away. Lots of options to choose from Thai to Chinese to Japanese. I got the Pad Kee Mao which was pretty good. Would certainly recommend as a well rounded Thai location.

Yelp
The Thai Food here is among the best between Vancouver and Portland. This is surprisingly considering they provide some fusion options and also tried Sushi. I'm not brave enough to try Sushi from a restaurant that doesn't just specialize in it, but if you're looking for a good Thai Food experience, this is the place. It's a casual restaurant and bar, and the decor provides a pretty chill vibe. There is plenty of seating inside, but it can still get busy and parking can sometimes be difficult. The service provided can be a bit slow, and they messed up one of our orders, however they were quick to fix it. My favorite items are their curries and their orange chicken ( surprisingly ). Their stir fried noodles are often broken and not really stir fried well, so I don't recommend it if you are appreciating noodles more than flavor. But the flavors are definitely on point. Pricing is a bit higher than other locations nearby, but being downtown and being so popular they get away with it. Definitely recommend to try at least once if you're from the area. If you're touring though, not worth taking up the limited time you have.

Yelp
No one in Vancouver needs to be told how good Thai Orchid is. This is the only place I can order Pad Thai from, nowhere else compares. The last time I went I tried some new dishes and they were even better than my beloved Pad Thai. We tried the combination appetizer plate, the Tom Kha soup (always a hit!), Khao Soi (so good I immediately went home and made some), and the Pad Kee Mao. The meals here always feel like home, and you always have leftovers!

Yelp
We've visited this restaurant many times over the years. We always order their pad Thai, cowpad, and their tomkha soup. This recent time we got sushi (forgot which one), and their beef broccoli. It is so hard to find a place that has good beef broccoli, it was nothing special. The sushi was your average sushi. But the pad Thai, tomkha, and cowpad are always on point. They offer regular, medium spicy, or spicy. Service at the table often times is good, the hosts that greet you at the door are always welcoming and nice. It's a clean, nice, space. Their parking lot I wish was bigger. Street parking can be hard to find especially on weekends and all evenings being that it is downtown Vancouver. Of course, we will return at some point again and order our usual. Sticking to what we know is best.

Yelp
Uber Eats order of chicken pad Thai, pork pad see ewe, chicken gaeng curry, jasmine rice. Chicken tender and juicy. Curry was really good; rest was good too. Ordered mild but would bump up a bit next time. Fed 3 with leftovers. Quality food. A bit pricey as delivery fees high and added extra chicken- $52 delivered.

Yelp
The service and the food was outstanding! I am a flight attendant, so I have traveled many places and restaurants! This is absolutely the best Thai restaurant and food that I have ever had! From the time I walked in the door by myself, I was greeted with a smile and staff is very friendly! Restaurant has a nice decor, as well! Katie was my server, and she absolutely nailed it! She asked questions, and made suggestions! The food was outstanding! Thanks Katie and the staff for the best lunch and dinner!

Yelp
The day I found out this place existed nearby, I was super excited to try it and went in the same day. I already knew what I wanted hours before even going after taking a look at their menu online. After making a call and doing an order pickup for pad gra prow with "chicken" and mango sticky rice. I got home to see they gave me beef instead of chicken. My receipt did not look right. Not only that, I was charged an extra $3.50 for beef which is more expensive than my original order with chicken. After calling and speaking to "Megan" to confirm what I was charged for. She stated the different price points for chicken and beef. She said I was charged for beef. But after reminding her that I specifically asked for chicken over the phone, Megan immediately became defensive and tried to correct me stating that I said beef to her. For one that is completely unprofessional and rude to correct the customer, as I know what I had said. And for two, my wife was standing right next to me as I was ordering and she can confirm I also said chicken. If I had ordered beef like Megan insisted then she would've had to mention the upcharge of $3.50 which she didn't. She clearly tried to up charge me or does not pay attention to detail when taking orders over the phone. She continued to argue with me that I said beef and repeatedly put me on hold as I was talking until she acted like she could not hear me speaking. I spoke with a manager who said "I will talk to her." But after this being my first impression, terrible customer service, up charging my order, and the wrong order, I do not see it worth coming back here to spend to money.

Yelp
Wow! Seriously some really good Thai food. We didn't have a reservation, but were able to get seated within 10 minutes after walking in. The interior is quite spacious, and theres plenty of natural light as well which I liked. We decided to get the lettuce wraps with tofu, and the pad kee mao with chicken. Both dishes were so good!! The lettuce wraps were diy, and the tofu was stir fried with plenty of veggies such as carrots, mushrooms, even water chestnuts! The sauce was so good with it. I also loved the pad kee mao, which came with plenty of veggies as well and was so flavorful. Portions were good, service was friendly, and it was overall a great experience. I would highly recommend trying this spot!

Yelp
Consistently good food. Go to spot for take out. A lot of menu items. Nice for dine in as well and they have good service.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and friendly service. Cannot go wrong. I like how the chefs choice sashimi usually contains a deep fried shrimp head (try it! It's crunchy and yummy!)
google avatar

Brian H.

Yelp
Friendly staff and ambiance. Select dishes were great, some were okay. Larb and sushi surprised me, loved it! It's honestly a 3.5. I wasn't too excited about the portion sizes that came along with these type of prices. Tom khá and yellow curry were lacking a bit of taste
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of my go-to stops when bringing someone from out of town to enjoy local Thai food. The curry at this spot is so delicious, I'm shocked that they have reviews below 5 stars. I can't speak on the service in store, but takeout it's really fast and has never steered me wrong. It looks fancier on the inside so I'd recommend for a nice date night.

Yelp
As always, we had the best service ever from Calista and Sophia! We've been going here since they opened and it just keeps on getting better and better. The food is excellent and you can't go wrong with any of the options. The only other Thai place I go to for food is my mom's house and that should tell you something because she's 100% Thai and makes the best food. We always love and josh as well because they know how to run a restaurant and make sure the customers are happy as well as the employees. We recommend this place 100%. The Thai noodle soup is amazing and a must try with extra fried garlic if you like that.
google avatar

Andi W.

Yelp
Best thai food in Vancouver is so good and really authentic. My mom and I still talk about how great the food and atmosphere are. Next time you're in Vancouver, please give them a try, they will not disappoint.

Yelp
My family has been coming here for almost 10 years and I am always impressed. I am a huge fan of their soups, the Gaeng Ga Ree (yellow curry) has been my sister's favorite since she was a kid and my fiancé's favorite is their Khao Pad Ga Prow (spicy basil fried rice). My all time favorite has got to be their Thai Noodle Soup - it is PERFECT for a cold rainy day, or literally any day of the year. The portions are large and usually end up with leftovers which are just as good at home. The sushi is high quality as well, at reasonable prices, and depending on where you sit you can watch the Sushi Chef. The ambiance is chic, with a woodsy industrial vibe and the servers are friendly. Also, the Thai tea is so authentic, I get it when I've got a sweet tooth! My family and I will continue to come here for many more years and I always make it a mission to visit when I'm in Vancouver.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
I love this place. The food is always delicious and I like the variety. Service is always great even when they are busy. Parking kinda stinks, but it's definitely not impossible and as long as you don't mind possibly having to walk a bit.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
I must say that it was my first time seeing a Thai restaurant serve sushi, so I was intrigued. Parking is street parking or they have a very small lot in front as well. We had a reservation at 7, but they did not have a table ready for us until 7:20 PM. We had a big party (10+) and the service was very organized and quick considering the size of our group. I got the curry, which was a large portion and included a bowl of rice. I can normally finish the entire meal at restaurants, but I had to take home some this time. Though I would prefer more protein in the curry, it was flavorful and filling. One of my friends got the sushi, and she said that it wasn't the best and there were only a few pieces. I don't think I would return for that.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
I've tried it so many times to see if I can get a redemption from it. The staff is good enough by area standards which isn't saying much. The food just doesn't hit on any level unfortunately.
google avatar

Rashi T.

Yelp
I had been hearing from friends in the area that Thai Orchid was a solid and I can attest to the fact now that I have been there . We came during a weekday for a late dinner and were immediately seated however it took some time for them to attend to us .Our server took a while to give us menus and water and then a significant time to get the food out , so not the fastest service albeit it was good . We had a Khao soi and the Hoke Poke Box with Miso soup. The sushi was alright however the Khao soi was really delightful and warming . The creamy curry was cooked to perfection and was a perfect accompaniment to the egg noodles .The portion size was also pretty good . They had a number of drinks in their cocktail selection however we stuck to just water this time . Pricing is fair .There is limited parking outside the restaurant but there is plenty of street parking available .
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Food was good. Service made it painful. Gal bartender took forever and the bar was dead. Jose brought out my app, food, got me soy sauce and extra napkins. She never came back once but boy was she doing all of her side work at the bar at 8:15. Bar was wiped and ready to go. Didn't offer me another drink or anything. Don't sit in bar area.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
I wanted to try the Pad Woon Sen because it's one of my favorite Thai dishes. It was good here, but not the best I've had mainly because I was expecting it to have lime juice. These noodles have more of a peppery taste. Also good, just not what I was looking for. I also had the Massumen Curry and I will definitely be back for that. The only downside was that when we went (weekday dinner) there was a long wait. We were told 20 minutes, but it ended up being 35 min, so just know that you may not get in quickly.
google avatar

Arnab K.

Yelp
Great place to grab a good Thai meal at a very reasonable price for a fairly large portion size. Highly recommend visiting the place. Their service is also pretty quick. They also have quite a few cocktails on their menu.

Meryl ..

Yelp
Ordered for Tom Yum soup with only vegetables and Pineapple fried rice online May 26,2025. Both were very salty for my taste. The salt taste lingered, ended up not eating it. Sorry!
google avatar

Evelyn S.

Yelp
Good food at good prices. I'm not rushing back, but I don't think you'll be sad if you ate here. We ordered the Pad Priew Wan ($14) pineapple chunks, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, cucumbers with chicken in house sweet and sour sauce comes with white rice. We also ordered the Lettuce Wrap ($14.25) with chicken, shitake mushrooms, red onions, and water chestnuts served on top of crispy rice noodles, with a crisp iceberg on the side. The portions are very generous so we were able to have dinner and then lunch the next day. We both enjoyed the Pad Priew Wan, it was not something we'd had previously. The lettuce wrap was fine but not my favorite. I believe most of their business is to-go, but the dining room looked nice and the staff were helpful.

Yelp
2nd time here Khao sou mild... excellent still Tom kha soup-with tofu... ok... I didn't care for it.. ... but I had it with tofu... chicken would probably been better #38 stir fry ...good flavor Won ton appetizer -chicken- tasty Salad roll... smaller than what we are used too... tasty

Yelp
Wow I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was. Service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is casual with high ceilings and windows. Below are the items I ordered and I would definitely order each item again. I usually order Thai food from Thai Orchid like Pad See Ewe and Massaman Curry but I was craving sushi. Miso Soup Thai Iced Tea Hurricane Roll Mango Sweet Sticky Rice (so fresh and comforting)

Shannon G.

Yelp
Love this place Every dish is so different and delicious. The decor is amazing and staff is friendly.

Yelp
First thing, the food was good! I had the wings and lettuce raps. But why did I give it two stars? It was because of the bar service. The woman that was behind the bar was so unpersonable, I think we had three interactions the whole time I sat at the bar. The first was asking what I wanted to drink, the second my food order, and the third my tab. So maybe don't sit bar and you'll get better service. The restaurant itself has a really cool vibe and is clean.

Tawn H.

Yelp
Great food & great service! Iced Thai tea with coconut milk is my go to, fried squid, Shrimp veggie wrap, the seafood soup with coconut milk, phad Thai, & of course the sticky rice with mango all 10/10.

W H.

Yelp
Great food, great service! One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Very nice decor.

Yelp
Soo, so, yummy!! They treat you with so much respect and care everytime you come, they always lyk what kind of food you're getting so you don't really risk not liking it, but it all tastes amazing at least to me! It's the perfect tone inside, the lighting, and ambiance overall is enjoyable!
google avatar

Delfin A.

Yelp
The ambiance is friendly and the food is delicious. I'm from out of town and wanted to try a local place so stopped by here last night. There is plenty of parking and last night I sat in the bar area where it is quiet.
google avatar

Kristina T.

Yelp
We love this place! The food is fantastic (I usually get the Pineapple Fried Rice) and their packaging for delivery is great! It's all completely sealed for transport. Their drinks are canned with ice! My only complaint is the nearly $10 service fee they charge for every delivery. I pay it, I'm just not happy about. Their food and care when packaging make it slightly understandable.

Yelp
Maybe closer to 4.5. We came here for lunch on a Saturday, and was lucky to find street parking nearby. I started off with an Asian Pear Mojito, and that was refreshing. I got the Pad Kee Mao with seafood, and asked them to make it with skinny noodles used for Pad Thai. And it was very tasty and I really I enjoyed it. My bf got the Peek Gai Tod (chicken wings), which we felt didn't have much flavor and the only thing we didn't totally love, and Orange Chicken, which he and his sister thought was really good. His sister got the Pad Thai Lemongrass Chicken, which is a unique item that I've never seen at any Thai restaurant before, and she really liked it, and took leftovers to her husband.

Joseph W.

Yelp
Love the new take out packaging. Sealed containers, awesome touch! Try the Pineapple Rice...Yumm!
