14 Top-Notch Thai Restaurants to Try in Nashville

"King Siam —the homey, comfortable Thai spot that replaced the old Thai Esane in 12 South — is popular with grad students and faculty. It brings the heat, so start with mild if you’re not ready to sweat. People rave about the King Siam sausage, Malaysian Street noodles, and panang curry." - Clara Wang, Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

One of my favorite spots for Thai food. The flavors are always on point, and everything tastes super fresh. The soup and red curry are absolutely amazing, full of rich flavor and just the right amount of spice. Every dish I’ve tried here has been delicious, and the portions are great too. The place has a warm, cozy vibe that makes you want to come back again and again. If you love good Thai food, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Great Thai restaurant near Music Row. The drunken noodles are delicious. I ordered spice level 3 and it’s definitely a medium. My husband got one of the curries and loved it. The service is friendly and thoughtful. The spring rolls are fresh and hand made. Fyi they do not take Apple Pay. Also the portions are very large and you will have leftovers! Overall recommend!

Was here all the way from Cali and haven’t had this good of a Thai food anywhere else. The flavors were authentic along with its spice levels 🔥🔥. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. Five star and full belly!

Google
We ordered 2 hot pot size tom kah soup with chicken. Calamari. And egg rolls. The total was over $50 and the pick up order took over an hour to be prepared. The fried calamari was one burnt lump of 6 pieces for $8..99. Way over priced. Rest of food was just ok. Wouldn’t go back

I fly all over the states (just to eat) and this is one of the best Thai places I’ve had in awhile. Spice level was on 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Delish. Highly recommend.

Nice servers, clean place. Easy parking. Maybe more protein in the noodle dishes. Attached is photo of 4 different entrees. I recommend for the owner:possible restaurant can offer small soup with entree.

Yelp
so happy thai phooket is back! i was shocked to learn of its rebirth in a new location when going to king siam but was happy to learn of the return. the tom kha coconut soup is delish, pad thai unbeatable, and our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. it has a completely different vibe inside compared to the goodlettsville/OG downtown location, but i love it all just the same. can't wait to return!

Yelp
Great to see the old woodland street location come back to this address! Superb authentic Thai... New owners, but same owners as the original on woodland. Come see for yourself. Old school Nashville reboot!

Yelp
Sunday evening dine in - not busy at all. My friend and I had a quiet booth- server was fine with checking in on us. The Thai Tea had a unique flavor but I like it! My pineapple fried rice was very good- I get no spice. Nice menu options- we will return!

Yelp
It's back - and better than ever. Like a phoenix that has risen from the ashes, moved across the river, the food we know and love from Thai phooket is back and better than ever. Eating here is a joy and I plan to come here weekly. Great service and familiar ambiance. Cheers!

Yelp
Happy to welcome Thai Phooket back to Nashville!!! I am so happy for the owners as I missed this place terribly since it closed on Woodland. Cody has been the kindest person every time I come in and I'm always greeted like family. The Pad Thai hasn't changed a bit and still holds up as some of the best in the city. This the perfect ambiance for both lunch with coworkers and dinner with family. Come see them! Quickly!!!

Yelp
I hate to give this place only 3 stars! Some things are so good, but several things could really be better: Great: Pad woon sen was really good. I also tried the pad woon sen salad, and the sauce in that was really good. Not good: The *beef* in the pad woon sen salad was really not good. I had a rice dish, and the rice bordered on being over cooked/wet-ish. I also got the chicken egg rolls, and they were greasy inside! I've tried this place a couple of times and keep coming back, so I obviously like it. I hope they fix these problems! Great service btw.
