So delicious! They deserve to have 5 stars. A must go to passing through or if you live around here. We had the curry puffs app, pad Thai, and green curry all were amazing. Plus, great and friendly staff.

Great experience. Food was great! Spice and flavorful! Staff were kind, welcoming, and accommodating! Space was open and welcoming! I’ll be back :)

I came here to eat some pineapple fried rice, my go-to when eating at a Thai Restaurant. When I got it, it was good, but I felt that there were a bit too many things in the rice that tasted differently. There were cashews and raisins along with the spices and other ingredients used. They put shrimp and chicken in the rice as well. I felt that the raisins gave the rice some sweetness that didn't belong. Personally, I feel that the raisins and cashews could be left out, but someone else may like it that way better. I also ordered Thai Tea. It was served to me mixed. I would have preferred to mix it myself but it is no biggie. It was $4 for the Thai Tea and around $16 for the pineapple fried rice. I would come back to try other dishes, but this one may not be my favorite here. The workers were kind and the place was clean. I hope to return again.

Google
Not so fresh spring rolls. This shrimp was disgusting and had funky smell to it. Threw away both orders.

Google
Food is flavorful, fresh, and solid every time! I go here about once a week. I love their pineapple fried rice, beef spicy eggplant, and orange chicken. Only reason they get 4/5 is because I have tried their drunken noodle and pad Thai.. both times the noodles were clumped together and dry, wouldn’t get again.

Google
The food was great. I had the Pad Kee Mow and Chicken Satay. I didn't originally plan for Thai food, but I'm glad I ended up here. The staff was friendly and courteous. Would come again soon.

Sam

Google
I had GrubHub deliver the food. The food arrived hot. The yellow curry with chicken tastes a bit bland. Needs more seasoning. The container wasn't full. The drunken noodles were good. There was a lot of bell peppers. Portion is small, very small. The egg plant was good. Maybe they could've cooked it a little bit longer. Again, too much bell peppers and the portion is again very small. Thai food isn't cheap. Overall, it was decent Thai food but nothing to rave about. I love Thai food and I'm glad I ate it but I'd rather go to a different restaurant.

Google
Decent food. Have to order and pay upfront. Still, the lady was nice to serve our table and promptly refil water. One downside is the restaurant's A/C was not working. So hot!

Yelp
My family and I dined at Thai Street Bistro, one weekday eveving after Jiu Jitsu class. Thai Street Bistro is right across the street and Braodway & 65th, so it made it close and an easy choice for us. We arrived after 8 and it was really quiet inside, and there might've been 1-2 other customers when we walked in. We ended up ordering the following dishes: Drinks: Thai Tea Soda (canned) Appetizers: A3. Satay Chicken w/Peanut Sauce Sides: V3. Spicy Green Beans Main dishes: N1 Shrimp Pad Thai SP8 Pad See Ew Overall: The food was really good, and we all enjoyed everything, and the staff was really friendly. Would recommend.

Yelp
Best Thai food experience in a long time. I was in the area with my dad, and we were looking for a spot to sit down and eat. We saw that this place had decent reviews (just over 4 stars), and we both love Thai food so we decided to check it out. Nice welcome and quick seating when we came in. Simple menu with plenty of options. We got the yellow curry with a side of sticky rice, sweet and sour pork, the crispy chicken and rice plate, and 2 Thai iced teas. They were very quick and attentive with their service and got us what we needed when we asked like plates and utensils. The food came out relatively quickly compared to other Thai places we have been to. Every single dish was excellent. My personal favorite was the rice dish, but all 3 tasted great. The Thai tea was also a little more on the strong side which I liked. Overall the best Thai food I have been to and we will be coming back.

Matthew

Yelp
Honestly the portions are way too small for the price they charge. I want to blame the economy, but still, it's not the best food either. I would probably go here if the portions were right. I spent nearly 70 dollars on three small dishes! Where can I find good Thai around here?!
google avatar

Yelp
The pad thai was very salty, perhaps to much fish sauce. The pineapple rice was good but the pineapple was very tough. Not sure I'll go again.

Yelp
The restaurant was super clean, beautiful and spacious. Service was great! Very attentive to our needs or requests. Food was delicious as well. We'll be coming back

Yelp
Good for lunch! We visited Thai Street Bistro right when they opened at 11AM. There was only one other party in the restaurant, but it was pretty early for a Saturday. The interior was spacious, with plenty of seating, many plants (both real and fake), and various Thai wall decor. They had a Yelp check-in offer for "1 free Thai Iced Tea", which our server let me swap for a Thai Iced Coffee. Unfortunately, the Thai Iced Coffee was way too sweet for me, and didn't seem very caffeinated, so I would skip this in the future. For food, I ordered the Chicken Pad See Ew with a medium spice level. It was so tasty and flavorful, and the texture of the noodles was perfect. However, I definitely should've gone with mild because it was so spicy! The heat level was way more than I would expect from medium, and my friend said even her mild Chicken Pad Thai had a kick to it. Both were delicious though. Service was lukewarm but quick - would return for more!

Yelp
Came here for a lunch date with my friend and the food was delicious. It was quick and we were able to eat and leave within an hour. I order the yellow curry with rice and it was delicious. My friend order the fried noodles and she really liked it also, the place was decorated nicely and was a very cute restaurant. I do recommend coming here if you have not tried this place yet.

Yelp
Flavor is good. Portions are too small. Their Tom Yum Noodle Soup was mediocre. The rice noodles were puffed and bloated. The restaurant itself is clean and modern. A good sized parking lot but I could definitely see you struggling to park your car on a busy night.
google avatar

Anny L.

Yelp
Great lunch deals on the weekday with semi-quick service! I love their green curry and Thai street noodles. Crispy food stays crispy even when you order takeout. Crab fried rice isn't special here so I'd skip it. The garlic fish is a must try! It's flavorful and packed with an amazing aroma. Parking is sparse during weekday lunch but plentiful for dinner.
google avatar

Yelp
Got the Drunken Noodle and Gra Pow to-go! Tbh, they both had the same flavor profile but in different forms. I tend to like spicy asian food, but the level 2 spice in these dishes already had me sweating! I wish the noodles had been separated a bit more to absorb the flavor and even out the textures. Overall pretty happy with the sweet, savory, and basil infused flavor. There are so many Thai spots in the area that I might try another place before coming back here.

Yelp
Great Thai food that would ask on how spicy you want it and they don't disappoint. I ordered the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Eggplant, sticky rice and Larb (all spicy) it was so good!! awesome service. Thank you. Will be back! :)

Joe L.

Yelp
I ordered crispy chicken with fried rice and a papaya salad with order of sticky rice. for the price , the portions are small. I get it everything has gone up in price but the portions are sad . food is good but gotta do better on portions for the price

Yelp
Food here was absolutely the best Curry I have ever had. I usually don't like curry, but the flavor was good, a little thicker than normal, super flavorful! We got the Yellow curry, Drunkin Noodles and the Pineapple Fried Rice. Must eat the Pineapple Fried rice. The service was great, everyone was so nice, not too busy for being a Monday. The place is very clean.

Yelp
Drunken noodles (or pad kee mow) is one of my favorite Thai dishes.. I've ordered them at every Thai restaurant that I've ever tried. Today I tried them from Thai Street Bistro and since it was my first time trying this local restaurant, I ordered them without any spice (mistake) because I wanted to taste their flavor in their non-spicy state. I felt that the flavor was not as pungent as I hoped (not enough basil) and so I should have ordered them with spice. My red and green bell peppers were also undercooked when compared to the rest of the vegetables (which in my case was unfortunate because I usually only eat bell peppers when they're soft). Anyway, I still enjoyed the meal. I would order it again but with some spice and I am excited to try other items on their menu in the future.

Lucia G.

Yelp
Panang curry was pathetic--five shrimp and only vegetable was bell pepper. I've had this dish a million times at other restaurants and there's always at least six prawns and carrots, broccoli and string beans (in addition to bell peppers). Pineapple fried rice was ok but not enough pineapple or chicken. High prices too ($6.25 for a Thai iced tea) but probably higher cuz ordered from Grubhub.

Yelp
Recently gave this place a try and I will definitely try other menu items. I ordered level 5 spicy and appreciate that the food actually was, especially compared to the midtown Thai eateries. I ordered larb gai, summer rolls, pad kra pow and pad prik king. Larb gai was delightfully lime-y and perfect for my taste, as it's similar to how I make it at home. Pad kra pow was flavorful and delicious. Summer rolls were good, but could have been rolled tighter and I was not a fan of the peanut dipping sauce (too sweet). Pad prik king was also a bit sweet but that might come down to personal preference. Good portions for the price. I will return!

Yelp
I ordered Tom Kha for take out. The restaurant was clean. It's a large space, so some of it was used for storage. They were fast at completing the order. I was able to get my order within the 15 minute window of placing it.

Yelp
Omg! Can I just say how delicious this place was??? My family and I dined here last night and had a feast. When you order, the server asks you what heat level you want your food to be. We did asked for mild but we did taste a little spice still. It wasn't too spicy, but did add to the flavor! I wish I took pictures but we were in the moment and enjoyed our feast lol *Pad Thai with shrimp - Delicious flavor and texture but did have slightly too much sauce. The shrimp were jumbo in size and so succulent. This one had some spiciness to it. *Panang Curry with fried tofu - So delicious. The flavor was fresh and had so much depth. *Pad see ew with fried tofu - This was the *STAR* of the show! The tastiest I have EVER had, and normally I am a "pad thai" girlie. Cooked and flavored to perfection. *Fried rice with fried chicken- This was my niece's favorite. The chicken was a fried and breaded fillet, very crunchy! The rice was so good! *Fresh spring rolls with tofu - Delicious but the lettuce is a bit aggressive, they are huge! They came with 2 sauces - one a peanut spicy deliciousness concoction, and the other one was a mild sweet and spicy - delicious!! *Basil Chicken - Flavors so delicious. The chicken was smaller pieces, but this was delicious over rice (according to my family!) *Thai tea - So tasty but was a bit heavy with our meal (in my opinion!) Everything was so fresh and great tasting. We cannot wait to go back! We want to try the Tom Kha Kai soup next time we go!

Yelp
Chicken rice bowl is my favorite. The rice is the base of their Pineapple Chicken fried rice. My husband always gets it with shrimp

Alexandra N.

Yelp
I ordered the Pad Thai and fresh rolls with shrimp and tofu. It was an up charge of $1 for 1 shrimp roll. I was surprised there was only 1 piece of shrimp in each half. Most of each bite was just lettuce and carrots... super underwhelming and threw most of it away. Pad Thai was just okay, seemed to lack flavor.
google avatar

Helen O.

Yelp
I just love the food here! I've only ever had takeout from here but it's always fresh and tasty.

Viraj S.

Yelp
The food is very tasty and flavorful. TumYum soup was lemony, spicy and full of veggies. The fried rice and noodles were amazing. The service is attentive and courteous.
google avatar

Vivian P.

Yelp
Ordered drunken noodles and garlic fish for takeout here. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and aesthetic! The cashier was really nice as well. The food itself was just ok. The drunken noodles were not very flavorful and the noodles were stuck together. The garlic fish was better but it doesn't come with rice which I thought was strange. Overall, it was worth a try but I don't think it will be a go-to.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Sacramento. The consistency of the food is always on point. My favorite dish is the Extra spicy Green Curry with tofu. . . . .SOOOOO GOOOD

Beth S.

Yelp
I was visiting Sacramento this past weekend and ordered carry out from Thai Street Bistro for myself and some friends. We ordered three Pad Thais and another delicious dish with broccoli, bok choy and a garlicky sauce. The Pad Thai was some of the best I've ever had. The portion was generous and those of us who ordered it cleared our containers. No leftovers and five very happy stomachs! The food was still very hot when we got home. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
I was in the mood for Chinese, but got coupons for Thai Street bistro. Here is my two cents on the food and some chatter about the other thing. I tried one entrée which had pork and in a tomato sauce, extra This was called Tom Yum. hot and sour soup, and a green curry item which was not very good. I requested each item to be a number of five their hottest on scale .Tom Yum was the closes to being spicy ..The other two items were only maybe a two and spicy .. also, I had ordered the jasmine rice which was a whopping $4.00 Plus, wrapped in aluminum foil and a very small portion. Probably a portion just for a child she photographed pillow. At first looking at Tom Yum I thought I was going to be disappointed because it actually had fresh looking tomatoes and what not and it was a number five... I used to mix the jasmine rice. Which I was disappointed because I had to pay an extra five dollars. Rice should be included or free and now they are charging you 3 to 5 dollars for your rice and a very small portion as you can see in my photograph... yep plus this rice was wrapped up in a small container with aluminum foil. I've never had rice this small portion at a price of four dollars and then wrapped up in aluminum foil..Look at my photograph it below. The other item was green curry sauce... The green curry sauce was very extraordinarily disappointed. I requested to be number five extra extra spicy. It was maybe being generous a number two. The other thing was the flavor and taste. It tasted like, and I saw bamboo shoots, or even like a green avocado. It smelled even worse. Don't know what it was actually made... did not see avocado, but I did see bamboo pieces in there plus as I said no hot sauce whatsoever a big disappointment. I also tried their hot and sour soup. It should've been hot it should've been spicy cause that's what I asked for but it was a complete failure. Is that not have either one of these though this might be a difference in Thai food? It was not hot. Or sour. and definitely, it was very, very bland. It barely caught my attention when eating it. The only good thing was it arrive earlier than expected. The driver was very professional and courteous. These are the only good things I can recall. Even with the coupons, I doubt if I ever go back or eat this place again.

Yelp
I called this order in a lunch order on 3/3/23 for pick up. Ordered drunken noodles got the Thai spicy (the max level of spice) disclaimer I'm Mexican can handle some heat and this was so good. The food was delicious. Great flavor. BAD THING THE NOODLES WERE ALL STUCK TOGETHER. Hence the 4 stars. Parking is small Place looked cute from inside
google avatar

Yelp
We order DoorDashed- Spicy fried rice - great flavors Pad prik king with beef - the beef was tender and green beens crisp. Drunken noodles pad kee mow - Spicy string beans - perfect amount of spice and flavor. I would recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Unfortunately I feel like their quality of food has gone down significantly in the past year and a half. We noticed they may have changed ownership or management and underwent some changes. We frequently got takeout here during the pandemic, but we have slowed down since the past few meals we ordered were a bit disappointing. We usually get their chicken pad Thai and beef drunken noodles. We also like their yellow curry. However, it used to feel like better value for the price. Now I think if we have the time, we might go a bit further from our house to satisfy our Thai cravings. Still very nice people, and if we need a quick, cheap lunch, I think it will still be one of our options.

Yelp
This place have been here for a while and I've just pass it in by. Since my favorite Thai place is closed I thought I'll just give them a try. Let me tell you I was glad I did. So the saying that goes "don't judge a book by its cover," is all I have to say. Hands down to my new to go get my Thai fix. 1. Parking is horrible for it's located in the corner of Broadway and 65th so park around the neighbors. 3 2. Customer service is a 5. Order to go and the lady was very pleasant and professional. 3. Restaurant is clean and looks amazing 5 Hope you Foodies find my post helpful when selecting a dining out. Until then

Yelp
It was a food-takeout type of day. Decided to try this place out and got the chicken Thai street noodle entree (sounded intriguing) and sticky rice with mango. It's a little strange that Thai tea isn't offered here (at least as far as the food delivery menu goes). Thai iced coffee was on the menu and I ended up adding that to my order. The chicken Thai street noodles is essentially chicken katsu on top of pad Thai noodles. The chicken was a bit bland. The pad Thai noodles were the polar opposite; although the sauce mixed into the noodles was really delicious (sourness and all), there was a too much of it making the noodles a bit too rich. The sticky rice and mango was pretty good overall. The rice could've been softer but it still had the comforting coconut flavor that I love in Thai sticky rice. The mango was perfect (for me); it was a little underripe but that's my way of mango when the mango is more tart than sweet. The Thai iced coffee kinda reminded me of a mocha Frappuccino. Very creamy. I enjoyed it. Overall, flavor balances could use a little work here but this place is still not bad for takeout especially if you're in the mood for something Thai.

Jose R.

Yelp
Ordered the fried chicken over fried rice. It was so good and flavorful. Found my new favorite Thai food place! Really clean as well, and the girl who helped me was super nice and helped me pick the right level of spicyness!

Yelp
Small parking lot in the front that's shared with other businesses. Clean interior with nice potted plant decor. Lots of seating inside. No customers dining in around the lunch hour on a weekday. Hand sanitizer available at the entrance and at the pick-up/ordering counter. The staff do not wear masks. I ordered online and received email and text notifications that my food was ready after ten minutes. They gave a few napkins and provided the flimsy plastic spork I've ever used in my life. The crispy chicken with lemon sauce was okay. The chicken is crispy, though the breading would often slide off the chicken and some of it would be soft due to the moisture trapped in the to-go container. There was a slight aftertaste that I can't put my finger on. They give you two small containers with the lemon sauce, which I could've gone with or without. Steamed broccoli is one of the saddest sides. Bland in taste and unappealing in color. If you dine-in, I would suggest asking if they can sub it out with something else. The crispy crab wonton is basically a crab rangoon, which was decent. Flavor-wise, not the best but not the worst. The food was relatively expensive for the small portions. All things considered, I probably wouldn't come back.

Yelp
After a wonderful hike this past Saturday we decided to get Thai! We saw that they just opened and they had an amazing spread of items! I called in our order and it was ready in 15 minutes which was great! We ordered so many amazing things and they were all so delicious! We checked in and got Thai teas which were 12/10 so yummy! We were also gifted a iced Starbucks Frappuccino which is the way to my heart! We will be back! Thank you!!

Yelp
I usually do not share my opinion about bad experiences but this one hit three issues on the same order. I had been in this place a few times but not recently. The service was alright, however the waiter did not get my order right. I ordered Fresh Rolls (was trying to avoid fried things) but I was served Spring Rolls. I ordered "mild" entry but it was served "spicy" and I was not offered rice until the meal was served. I decided to give the spring rolls a try and they were good so I did not complain. But when I tried to eat my entry it was just too spicy. I asked the waiter to change my entry to "mild," as ordered and he responded kindly but when I tried the "corrected" order it was TOO salty so I ended up not eating it. My meal ended up consisting of an entry & ok brown rice. This is the first time in my life I did not feel like leaving a tip.

Yelp
Wow. Highly recommend. I usually go to Coconut on T as it's closer to me but I was looking for something I haven't had In a while. Basil chicken and Spring rolls were very good. I will def be coming back.

Yelp
Coworker and I were craving Thai food, so I found Thai Street Bistro in Yelp. I placed our order online, which was super easy. After 15 minutes I drop up and picked up our order. The interior is super cute, unfortunately half the restaurant is closed (d/t covid) but they do still offer some dine-in seating. Customer service was nice. I ordered the beef Pad Thai, one of my favorite signature dishes. For the price, I do feel it's a bit on the pricey side especially for lunch. Beef Pad Thai cost $11.99. I can't complain tho, because the flavor was on point. Not too much of the peanut butter sweetness and at level 4, the spicy level made me sweat a good sweat. A huge surprise was the fresh spring rolls. Although a bit pricey for 4 pieces, again the flavor especially the dipping peanut sauce - was very tasty. Besides being pricey, Thai Street Bistro is good and I would recommend it.

Yelp
such a cute place! the food is always good and whenever I go the restaurant is not crowded so service is good as well.

Yelp
Thai Street Bistro serves delicious meals in Tahoe Park. The parking lot can be a little small, but the place is also great at doing takeout or delivery. Inside, the restaurant has a lot of space for groups. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was hot and fresh. I feel like it's a good price for the quality and quantity of food in the order.

Kathleen W.

Yelp
We ordered take out and everything was delicious! I loved my green curry and the peanut sauce that came with our chicken satay was so yummy. I only put four stars because of the fresh rolls. They were tasty but weren't separated with plastic wrap (as they are at most restaurants) and were all stuck together. It made it impossible to eat without them falling apart. We ended up having to use a fork and chop sticks to eat them. The mango sticky rice was particularly wonderful!
google avatar

Mercedes J.

Yelp
Very disappointed that there's barely any veggies on this dish I understand companies not giving a lot of shrimp but they literally put any veggies I mean you can see the bowl is empty and not work 16.00 dollars I'm very disappointed because the flavor is delicious. this portion isn't even a portion it looks like the left over veggies from someone else's full order (full bowl).

Yelp
I placed a order here for food last night, i had wanted to try for a while, the food for the most part was too spicy to eat, I ASKED FOR MILD TO NO SPICE... the people i was sharing w/ older and sensitive to spice. Most everything I ordered was under par as far as my opinion goes I try Thai food all over Sacramento so this was prepared fast and like nobody really cared. Tom ka soup was mostly a BUNCH OF ONIONS AND 1 tomatoe cut into four, raw and the soup container half full. You may as well call this onion soup there was so little bit of coconut soup in it and all the raw onions piled up was disgusting and then of course the soup was super spicy. This is my favorite soup so I was pretty disappointed with all the raw onions and the fact that it was put together like this. I ordered pineapple fried rice with chicken that came with no chicken and four shrimps... Again lots of onions thrown into this mess not that much pineapple the portions are small which that's fine but the rice was basically uneatable there was so much spice on it. Spring rolls were fine... They were cooked a little under but they were over cooked so I guess that's good and they were not greasy. That all came to right under $60... Is it worth it no not at all in my opinion go to authentic Thai on H St. they are the best Thai restaurant in town and they'll put this place to shame the only reason I didn't go was they were near closing & i could not make it over there. Well I can honestly say I've tried the place and now I'm just looking for somebody that can eat this fucking food because none of it was eight and I would rather give it to somebody then throw it all away I would like to go through it right through their goddamn window. Yes i said it.... WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY.

Yelp
Tried this spot for the first time and it was pretty tasty! I ordered pickup on DoorDash and it was ready on time, and I loved that my food was packaged up and ready for me inside when I arrived. Portion size was decent for $12 each but there wasn't as much flavor as I had hoped. For the orange chicken and pad see ew, I wish there was more sauce and that it was more flavorful, but I enjoyed it!
