I was introduced to Thai food a few months back and we went to Thai Thai and it was so amazing! Their lunch specials allow you to try a few things at once. I crave this place now. So the wife and I had a lunch date here the other day. Man it's so good!

Overall really good food and atmosphere. I loved the presentation of their spring rolls, although they were a little dry. Their spice levels definitely vary a lot and don't necessarily match their scoring system (although they tend to tone down spice if anything). We will definitely go here again. We have gone here several times since this review was originally posted and it has quickly become a favorite. Their entrees are great and reheat well. I also love their sticky rice with strawberries and bananas.

I stopped by for lunch and had such a great experience! Easton was my server and he took excellent care of me. I got one of the lunch specials that included pad Thai, a chicken, curry and a chicken basil. It was seriously incredible! I love Thai food, so I am pretty picky about it. The owner was also there, and she was so friendly to all of the customers. I will definitely be back!

Google
This is my favorite restaurant. I’ve been eating here for about 8 years, since they were at the Main st. location, and the quality and deliciousness has never disappointed. I often get takeout and they have never messed up my order, even large orders for 10+ people. Fair price for the portion and everything I’ve tried is delicious (and I’ve tried almost everything over the years). The green curry is always perfect. And the lunch specials are INCREDIBLE, especially Wednesday’s selections. Never change, Thai Thai <3

Sad to say that this place is in Norman, OK and I live in Tulsa. This is the best red curry I've had since leaving the NYC area. It really hit the spot. It was so good, I forgot to photograph it before taking a bite. The strawberry banana sticky rice was delicious too. The fruit was really frwsh and tasty, and the sticky rice was super yummy. I wish I didn't live so far away.

Google
The food was amazing! We had the fresh shrimp spring rolls appetizer. My wife had the pineapple shrimp curry, and I had the chicken massaman curry. Every spicy dish on the menu can be tailored to fit your heat tolerance. The strawberry banana sticky rice dessert was also delicious, and the service staff were friendly and on top of things. The dining area was very clean and had an open, welcoming vibe. The only negative was the bathroom, which was not clean. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star experience!!

The waiter was awesome! I love Thai food!! They allowed me to get exactly what I wanted and I was very pleased. I ordered the Cashew Stir Fry with chicken, added pineapples and got a side of noodles in lieu of rice. I really wanted to try the Thai tea, but I was stuffed. This is the only place that the Gluten-free app has pointed me in the right direction on. I have been disappointed with other reviews in the app, but this time, I received what I was told to expect. Thank you for the enjoyable experience!!!

Google
Food was delicious. I had the chicken pad thai and my boyfriend got the beef and broccoli. Sweet tea wasn’t sweet but the Thai tea is really good. We got gyoza as an appetizer. Chicken pad thai is enough for 2 meals for myself. Our waiter complimented both of our shirts too. Definitely coming back again.

Yelp
Our whole family loves Thai Thai and we have been oh fans for all the years they have been in Morman‼ There are so many different grest dishes on their menu and service is always great with friendly staff. The owners are so nice and have wonderful food‼

Yelp
One the best thai food restaurants in town. Great service and attention to the customer. The place is very clean.

Yelp
The seating arrangement is a little confusing. Apparently, you just seat yourself at Thai Thai Asian Bistro. I must admit this is something I am not used to, but I guess I prefer being greeted. The food was quite good at this Thai diner. The pineapple fried rice was the better dish. The cashews were the deciding factor for me and there were no fried rice clumps. The texture of the rice was perfect, not too wet and not too dry. Massaman curry was also good. Curry was light, but creamy. I would have preferred more coconut milk though. This is a common issue for me at most Thai restaurants, but I have very high demand for curry. Overall: Good Thai restaurant with a rather non-traditional seat yourself kind of service.

Yelp
Your spring rolls are too large. Also some mint or basil would be good in them. They seem really pedestrian for a Thai restaurant. The Pad See Ew is great! Nice work

Yelp
Hands down the best Thai food you are going to get in Norman! If you're new to the area or been here a while and haven't tried it. Do it!

Yelp
Service and food are great! I appreciate the seating options. Private booths or open tables.

Yelp
In LA, I've eaten at countless Thai restaurants over the last 30 years. I often ordered Green Curry--an all-time favorite. But not here at Thai Thai, unfortunately. They totally skimped on the actual Green curry spice and instead cheated with GOBS of sugar--the first thing you taste in this sauce is just sweet. The sauce doesn't even look green, as it's supposed to. Very disappointing. I won't order here again. Then the Papaya salad had tomatoes that were soggy and tasted of chlorine bleach. Also, I had requested the dressing on the side and they said not possible (pre-made), so they could at least drain off the excess dressing from my portion, I'd think. But it was just soaking in excess dressing, much like a bowl of soup. When a restaurant doesn't care to take small steps to suit the customer's request, but just wants to get orders out the window, I'm not interested. I won't be a regular here, if I ever return.

Yelp
Out of Thawan, Thai Delight, and this place - this place comes in 3rd. I consider the food here good but not great and they are very expensive when getting takeout. 3 entrees and some fried rice $70? Yeah no. The chicken fried rice is great.

Yelp
The second we got out of the car, we could smell the Asian Magic. We ordered the Fresh Shrimp Rolls as an appetizer. They were good but each roll only had 1 single shrimp it in. My wife ordered the Pad Thai. It was a good portion side and she loved it! I had a friend in High School that was Thai. His mom made the best Thai Curry I have ever tasted. I've had a lot of Thai Curry over the years, but none have ever come close to being as good as hers until yesterday. The Red Thai Curry I ordered here was beyond perfect! It brought me back and made me so happy. I'm officially obsessed and addicted to this curry. So creamy and sweet! I added some chili paste to give it some good spice. If you like curry, you need to sprint over to Thai Thai.

Yelp
The food was great, service was ok it was takeout a Everything was complete for order. Lovely experience

Yelp
First visit. Friendly staff. Relaxed setting. I came in at shift change so I had a few different servers stop by to get my order. Ha! I was trying to choose something but wasn't rushing. Afternoon without commitments is cherished! I ended up with pineapple fried rice. I chose chicken for my protein. Good flavor. Chicken was tender and the pineapple added the right amount of sweet.

Kelley R.

Yelp
Service was fantastic! Portions were amazing! Food was soooo good! We came in pretty close to 3 and they were so sweet to still feed us! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
This place is 5/5 and they are very gluten free friendly. Almost every dish they can make without gluten and they have gluten free sauces. Their pad thai is 10/10. One of the sweetest best pad thai I have ever had. Pad ke mao was a great dish if you like spicy. 3/5 spicy stars makes this a great dish Pad kra pao was very flavorful Their evil jungle curry was ok and I have had their Panang curry and that's what I would order going forward. Thing this place could improve would be bringing bigger plates when we are sharing dishes family style. I've never understood just eating one dish per person when going to thai places. Another improvement would be extra napkins. They also need to bring out serving utensils with every dish. Or at least ask if it's going to be family style or lame solo style.

Yelp
Great food, fast service, love the curry, all the different pastas dishes are delicious.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I had the pork spring rolls and the spicy stir fry and split them. I've got to say that is the BEST spicy stir fry I've ever had. Something about that red curry sauce was just next level. Can't put my finger on it. But it was wonderful. I may drive from Edmond all the way down here just to have it again. Will be back! Awesome job you guys!

Yelp
Love this place! Always fast, friendly & great food. I tend to go at lunch and always get the special.

Yelp
For a Thai food place, there sure are a lot of hipsters working here -- like ALL of them. It's a bit of a confusing place, like they couldn't decide between fast casual and table service. They have way too many employees standing around, contributing to the above average prices. Dining room is on the boring side, but at least they keep it clean. Food is more miss than hit. Grilled chicken in the Pad Thai was tender, but low on flavor even with char marks on. Noodles were not over-sauced. No chopped peanuts, but it still had pretty good flavor overall. Masaman curry was an absolute fail -- watered-down to the point it had very little flavor, and rice couldn't contain it, it just ran all over the plate like soup. It was one of the worst I've had, so I dropped an extra star. --If you can't do curry right, you shouldn't be cooking Thai food for the public. A small bowl of white rice is included, $2 each if you want more. With the below average food, service and atmosphere, I probably wouldn't eat here again. Especially with a much better Thai place only a stone's throw away.

Yelp
Have yet to eat a bad meal at this restaurant. Fried rice and spring rolls are to die for!

Yelp
We moved back into Norman a few months ago, and we love that Thai Thai is near and accessible for us. It's our easy, go to Thai restaurant when we can't figure out what either of us want for food (so you can imagine that we go here a lot)! I've been a fan of Thai Thai back in the day when I was a college student, and even with all the new Thai restaurants in town, Thai Thai remains to be my favorite. The fried calamari appetizer is delicious. They fry them in strips and comes with a sweet, tangy chili dipping sauce. It's a great app to share. My go to entree is the pad thai. I think it's best with flat noodles, but it's also great with glass noodles and whichever noodle is your favorite! Their sauce is so perfect that I always ask for extra sauce on my pad thai orders. We also love their evil jungle chicken curry. My partner always gets some curry when we order from here, and we've agreed the evil jungle curry is the best. It's got minced chicken and more of a coconut flavor to it. We haven't dined in at this location, but back when they were on Main Street, I remember their service was always on point. I love supporting this little place - I guess you could call us 'regular's' here since we moved here!

Yelp
Yup good stuff here highly recommend the one called yakisoba The Thai tea is a little sweet compared to other spots just need to ease up on the creamer

Yelp
Definitely not a come again. It wasn't terrible but wasn't worth the price. I took the kiddo out for dinner after his shift. If Crab Rangoon is in the menu we are getting it. The waiter said they were "about this big" (he motioned the size of a Shipleys donut) and Maury Povich determined that was a lie. It was the first time I had panang curry without bamboo shoots. Maybe it's not supposed to but I've always had it? The overall quality was fast food-ish but with sit down prices.

Yelp
The service was amazing, I love the servers and they were engaging, helpful, and fun to be around. The restaurant style is great for a family, but maybe not so much for our first date. The food was hit or miss. The noodles were fabulous and the spice was great, but, the chicken and chicken missed the Mark big-time. Definitely worth a try!

Yelp
Thai Thai is amazing, great food and great service. Koi, and her staff offer fresh & fantastic food selections.

Yelp
Are you KIDDING ME??!! Amazing family and excellent service staff serving over the top food! Such a cool feel sitting at the counter service bar watching the kitchen serve out awesome looking food! Speaking of good!!! The Goyza is served on a cool wavy plate on a bed of color and a sweet salty dipping sauce. The Pad See Ew almost smacks you in the mouth with flavor and The Chicken Red Curry.... Oh my gosh. Spice an coconut with chicken, bell peppers and basil that tastes fresh out of the garden! I just got a text from my tummy saying " THANK YOU!!!"

Yelp
Best Thai food around. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Take home is just as good as eating in.

Yelp
Food is always amazing! Dine in is fantastic and even take away is good! Can't recommend enough

Yelp
Everything was great - Evil Jungle Curry Chicken, Cashew Nut Stir- fry, Spring Rolls, Wonton soup, and thanks to the suggestion of our wonderful server, Aiden, the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert was to die for!!! The place to go on a rainy night like this one, or any other night for that matter!!!
google avatar

Yelp
The best Pad Thai around! It's hard to NOT get takeout when I'm in Norman! Though I've never dined in, the service is always great and the space is clean.

Yelp
Best Thai place in Norman. I love spicy and the Evil Jungle Curry never disappoints.

Yelp
Outstanding food, great atmosphere, good service. This is my wife's favorite Thai restaurant and we usually get take out a few times a month.

Mendi C.

Yelp
The food came out as soon as the order was placed. The chicken on both dishes was dry and old. I wish we would have sent it back. It was terrible, I cannot believe they have good reviews.

Arsei S.

Yelp
Great food & service, one of my favorite restaurants in Norman. Absolutely delicious!

Yelp
Thai Thai is one of our favorite casual/takeout Thai restaurants, and it's in a great location - close to all the shopping on 24th but far enough north that it's easy to get in and out of without too much traffic. The best time to go is lunchtime during the week, when you can try several dishes via their combo meals. I've enjoyed everything I've tried there so far - pork spring rolls, gyoza, pad Thai, pad see ew (the consistent crowd favorite, especially with extra sriracha or chili paste!), red curry (not always a big fan of curry because I don't generally care for Thai basil, but it's really subtle at Thai Thai)....The dipping sauces that come with the gyoza and spring rolls are also particularly delicious! The portions are generous (good luck eating everything on your plate in one sitting), food is hot, and the spice level is just right.

Madison S.

Yelp
I moved out of Norman almost 5 years ago to a big city (with lots of great food options) and I still think about Thai Thai. Truly nothing compares! The best Khao Soi I have ever had.
google avatar

Carolyn G.

Yelp
The chicken pad Thai is delicious. We got a spring roll as an appetizer...hot and yummy! Large portion of the pad Thai, half of which I took home and had for dinner. So good. Peanut sauce was delicious too.
google avatar

Gina M.

Yelp
This place was average I'd say. I don't typically eat in this part of Oklahoma so I'll have to try something similar when I come back in town to really compare. The chicken and the shrimp roll were pretty dry, the soup and shrimp roll were pretty flavorless. However, the sweet chili sauce and the cucumber salad (for the chicken) were great! I love love love peanut sauce with shrimp rolls but this wasn't good either. It tasted like natural peanut butter with water in it or something. It was OK tasting over all, it was pretty, but it was not worth going back!
google avatar

Victoria N.

Yelp
Thai Thai's pad thai was terrific. It was very flavorful and colorful. The portion was huge, and it was reasonably priced. I don't think they added tamarind in the sauce; it's very subtle if they did. I sometimes get nervous when I order pad thai at other places because they tend to overdo it with the tamarind sauce. But at Thai Thai's, their pad thai has a sweet-savory taste to it. I also added tofu to mine, and the pieces were crispy and had a great texture. The only downfall was the Thai Tea. It is incredibly sweet that I didn't finish it.
google avatar

Bob P.

Yelp
Definitely our favorite local Thai place. Once in a while we have given other Thai places a try, but we always come back to at Thai Thai... Their food is simply the BEST! And even better, the entire family that owns the place is involved with preparing and serving their delicious meals. They are all as sweet as can be. Dining there is like coming home to eat with friends.
google avatar

Katie D.

Yelp
Their food is consistently okay but they have completely lost control of their kitchen. I ordered a simple pad see ew for takeout. They said 45 minutes. No problem. Took my time to get over there for pickup and when I got there they said it would be another 30 minutes. I'm glad they're busy but stop the takeouts if you are overwhelmed. Better than haviing a cramped register area with 7 customers all waiting for takeout. I fortunately hadn't prepaid so it was easy to turn around and find an alternative.
google avatar

Brooke H.

Yelp
Food was good, app prices are high, 4 rangoons for $8 is ridiculous, should get at least 8. Lunch special was good value. Prices not bad on meals. Service was horrible, definitely need to make some improvements in staffing. I would recommend for the food just be prepared for crappy service.

Steve K.

Yelp
Thai food, in my opinion, is the most flavorful of all cuisines and Thai Thai is an excellent choice to discover Thai food. I ordered Evil Jungle Curry with tofu. It was amazing.
google avatar

Heidi M.

Yelp
I lived in Hawaii for several years are got very spoiled by the Thai food there. It became my favorite kind of food. After moving here I tried several restaurants and all of them were huge let downs. Thai Thai actually gave me the Thai food I missed and was craving. Here's why... First, they have actual sticky rice. All the other restaurants I ordered it at served regular rice, but called it "sticky rice". Second, everything I've tried here is incredible and its always incredible. My favorite dishes are the spicy stir fry, chicken satay, basil fried rice and tom kha soup. This is probably my favorite restaurant in OKC.
google avatar

Andy P.

Yelp
The food is delicious, fresh, and authentic prepared lovingly by Koi and her team. A long-time Norman staple, the restaurant is always busy with dine in and pick up, but there is usually available seating. It's our Thai go-to place.
google avatar

Ryan P.

Yelp
Great little place always fast and fresh! Spicy Thai noodles and chicken for me! Friendly staff five stars

Stacy A.

Yelp
I came to this restaurant in hopes of finding good Thai food in Norman. I saw the reviews and they looked good. I came in search of a more authentic version of Thai food. This had a more Americanized flavor to it. It wasn't bad but it wasn't hitting the spot for me. I think maybe for the more American pallet I could see how someone like this place. Pro: great location, good music, casual atmosphere, a place I see used as a to go Thai place mainly. It wasn't your typical Thai restaurant atmosphere. Food was decent. Cons: Service was bad. I had a dry water cup most of the time. My waiter looked at my cup several times but never filled it or came to my table. I had to wait a terribly long time to get my food and when it did come, it wasn't hot. The egg roll was not that big. Mainly crust, not enough filling. Would I come back? Based on the service.. no. Will I give it another chance in the future for a second chance to change my mind... yes.
