Very good fried rice and the spicy mint noodles were delicious. Pleasant atmosphere. Portions were also large. Almost two meals for me. The price is great as well. Especially for the LA area.

Google
Ordering was fast with lots of options. The fried dumplings are good, but the ingredients didn’t say it had ginger but I can taste a bit of ginger, so I don’t like them. The outter layer is nice and crunchy though. The Pad See Ew is not very flavorful and the noodles are a bit all stuck together. Lots of veggies and good portion though.

Google
My fav Thai place and yes it’s truly vegan! Their food is prepared when you order so it is very fresh. The flavors are perfect and you can always ask for extra spicy if that’s your thing. The dumplings are delectable especially the pan fried ones. My go to fav dishes are the curry (which in my opinion can cure what ails you. Have a cold or the flu or feeling under the weather, order curry, you will feel better quick. My fav is the red curry) … pad Thai is delicious and can be made without peanuts, the pineapple rice is also a lovely dish. I have tried most of the menu and never had anything I didn’t like. The presentation is also beautiful. The people who work here are kind and have a calm energy that makes you feel welcome and at home. This is literally one of my fav places to grab a quick healthy wholesome meal. This place just makes you feel good. One of my happy places. Oh don’t forget the delicious Thai tea !

Google
Fast service with massive portions so very good for the price. I liked the option to add fake meats to each dish, I really enjoyed the soy chicken.

Google
Walked in after looking for some vegan options in the area. I ordered the number 22. pineapple Tofu fried Rice for $13.00 and a Thai tea with boba for $3.99 total came out to $18.73 w tax and added a tip as well. To start the plate came out with way more than I expected as well as the Bobba tea came with my meal :) the Thai tea is good taste isn’t too strong. This is a mix of pineapple red bell peppers green bell peppers broccoli tomatoes raisin carrots onions soft tofu topped with two cucumber slices and a bunch of cilantro. Everything is blending well when it comes to taste. I will say I’m sadden the tofu isn’t fried a bit more it’s a bit on the squishy side. The rice a bit over cooked as well. Overall the meal was full of flavors and they are all amazing though!!! Definitely worth the pay to portion ratio!!! Was advised it would take 10 mins and it came out in 7 hot and ready!

Google
Such amazing food if you’re a vegan. They even had chowmein, which usually would be made with egg, but it’s vegan here. If you have dairy allergy, are lactose intolerant, or just live a vegan life — this spot is it. They’re next door to a vegan sushi spot too, didn’t try it… but seems interesting. The ambiance is really not one to rave about. There’s only one bathroom for the entire plaza and it requires a code, so just keep that in mind. We took the food for takeout, so still had the comfort of our home to eat if, but 10/10 for taste and food. 😊

Khalil A

Google
I didn’t in order for pick up and it was overall a quick and easy process. The vegetables tasted fresh. They might want to let up on the amount soy sauce in the container but for the most part it was definitely a great amount of food for what you pay.

Google
We loved the green curry and tom yum. We went back a second time before leaving town. Very casual atmosphere. Fun area in Santa Monica and I love that it’s all vegan so I didn’t have to worry about any other ingredients that would cause me problems.

Yelp
This spot quickly became one of my go-tos in Santa Monica. I'm not even fully vegan, but the flavors here are so solid I don't miss anything. The menu is full of comforting Thai classics with a fresh, plant-based twist--everything feels thoughtfully made, not just "substitute" versions. Highly recommend the yellow curry and the pad kee mao. Portions are generous, and you can actually taste the individual ingredients--not just heat and sauce like at some places. Also, shoutout to the staff: super friendly and welcoming every time I've been. Casual vibe, clean space, quick service. Great for takeout too if you're headed to the beach. Definitely worth checking out whether you're vegan or just into good food.

Yelp
Came here Sunday ready to eat after the Pikmin X Hot Girl Walk and was very taken aback! The pad see ew was AMAZING and the portions are so generous. Couldn't believe I could find this in Santa Monica. I'm going to be making the trek down here more often. It does get quite a bit warm inside the restaurant, but they do have a back portion with great seating to sit down and help cool yourself off.

Yelp
I love going here as I know I will be satisfied every time with delicious vegan Thai food. It's a place that has no frills so don't expect anything remotely close to fancy. You pick up your food at the window and find your own table. But the food hits the spot at a fair price. I usually either get a pad Thai or a green curry with Thai tea. All so good. There's also a vegan sushi spot in the next stall, so you can have both cuisines at the same time. Love.
google avatar

Samantha C.

Yelp
Even coming back 7 years later, the pad thai is still just as chewy and delicious as I remember it. Prices have increased to $12 for pad thai, but each takeout box is at least 5 pounds. Big portions as always! Inflation elsewhere has made everything incredibly expensive, so it's refreshing to see prices like this. Food came out quickly too.
google avatar

Kristen B.

Yelp
Delicious! A quick and accessible walk. Very fast and okay outdoor seating. Open area with road parking.
google avatar

Serene A.

Yelp
I've been coming here for well over 10 years and I am finally leaving a review because I finally took a picture of all the yummy food we ate. Whenever we come we always get papaya salad and green curry, must gets!!! and the other dishes we always change around, I do enjoy their pad Thai but I love their spicy mint noodle more! And pineapple friend rice is great. Everything is flavorful and they give you a lot of food. You order at the window and then get a buzzer to pick up your food at the side door when it's ready. their are plenty of tables to sit at in the space and they have a lot of trinkets and stuff for sale around the place.
google avatar

Zeyma M.

Yelp
I took my food to go, so I can't say much about the ambiance rather than the place being pretty small/having limited seating and you having to come and get your food once it's ready (you don't have a server bring it to you). Wait time - I went on a Thursday and ordered ahead through grubhub, and still had to wait around 40 minutes to get my food (I didn't have a big order either). I have a feeling they forgot and didn't start working on it until I got their attention and asked about my order. Pad Thai - pretty good, but not outstanding, nothing out of the ordinary. If I went back, I'd probably get something else. Fried Dumplings - by itself, they are pretty bland, but the sauce definitely brings in more flavor. I liked the variety of veggies and vegan meat in filling too.

Yelp
Finally took the time to grab dinner from here I got the Vegetable Tofu Fried Rice with added chicken tofu and beef tofu and I got to say it was worth the short wait. The rice was very fluffy and moist, loved the vegatables in there, the chicken was buttery, soft like a little pillow, and the beef had this yummy sweet nutmegy flavor. Cute little restaurant and couple two person tables and a bigger dining table further in. The also have outside seating. Great prices and the Thai tea was very good also, definitely got to come back to try their Spicy Fried Rice.
google avatar

Fay H.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious vegan Thai fare! I LOVED the soy chicken larb, it was perfectly balanced with the citrus, mint and cilantro. That is a must try if you're in Santa Monica
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
This place has really fallen off flavor wise, it's just a lot more bland, but that may work for some people. The service is not bad, and the ambiance is okay, but the food just doesn't deliver anymore. Here are the dishes I tried this time: It's been a while since I've been there, but here are the dishes that stood out for me: 3.5/5 - Panag (the red spicy) tofu curry: had a little bit of spice and flavor, not that bad, but still pretty disappointing given the fact there are so many good Thai spots in LA. 3/5 - Pad See Ew (called the Soy Sauce Noodles here): lacking in any real flavor, but not a bad portion for the price. 2.5/5 - Spicy Fried Rice: nothing spicy about it, very basic, would not recommend. Maybe the pineapple fried rice is better? Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Value: 3.5/5 Overall: 3/5

Yelp
Very relax and friendly atmosphere. Descend quality for the price and quick service. You couldn't ask for more of a bargain in this area of Santa Monica.
google avatar

Amita J.

Yelp
Tiny little place that shares the space with another restaurant so if you plan to eat there, there is limited casual seating. Wait time You place an order and wait for the food. I ordered the soy sauce noodles with soy chicken to-go which screamed for flavor. The noodles were very bland, I was lucky that I packed some extra soy sauce and chili oil just in case which made it just a little better. The noodles were stuck together in clumps, I wish they were separated more during cooking. On the plus side, the quantity was huge - easy to feed 2!

Yelp
Do not buy any of the snacks or foods they have displayed at their registers. Unfortunately it is VERY OLD, hard and stale and expired items that seems to have been displayed for a very long time. I bought a bag of plantains hoping it would be good but when I got home to eat it, it was disgusting and tasted awful. The solidified oil that I was fried in had aged horribly and tasted bad. I don't live in the area so unfortunately was not able to try it before leaving their place. I should have tried it there and returned it if I could. I learned my lesson. Never buy if it has no label or expiration.
google avatar

Yelp
The OG vegan thai spot! Easy, reliable, and delicious with a large variety of dishes. My favorites include the pad thai, pad see yew, green curry, yellow curry, panang curry, fresh spring rolls, peanut sauce, mango sticky rice, and thai tea. Can't go wrong! Happy to see they have opened up so many other locations!

Markus C.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Santa Monica. Cozy, fun, and the food is amazing. I go every few weeks and have tried most of the menu, and I've liked everything I've had.
google avatar

Cameron H.

Yelp
Very large portions (had the pad kee mao) , and the prices are reasonable too considering the area. Would return and try a different menu item
google avatar

Roxanne B.

Yelp
Great portions for the price! Quirky place, which is fun. Only reason I didn't give a five was because my dish lacked a bit of flavor, but it was still good and I'd come again! Also, when I ask for Thai spicy, normally people brush me off and assume I can't handle it. They didn't go easy on the spice level and I'm grateful for that
google avatar

Christy S.

Yelp
My favorite vegan Thai in LA! It's so flavorful and fresh and I love that I can take it to go. The Pad Thai was my favorite.
google avatar

Plant Trees F.

Yelp
PLEASE PERMANENTLY CLOSE THIS HORRIBLE RESTAURANT!!! The food and service are absolutely disgusting! The "fried" rice options are poorly prepared, disgustingly mushy, bland in taste and poorly presented. The service is beyond horrible with rude, unwelcoming and disengaged staff that completely ignore you when you enter. Couldn't eat more than two bites of this nasty food, tossing a full plate of the garbage meal right into the trash can where it belonged. Very sad experience. Virtually ALL vegan thai restaurants we have eaten at in the past have been nothing short of amazing.

C.D. B.

Yelp
I am only reviewing their food and service, and not the ambience or seating. My daughter and I stumbled on this place yesterday, and could not believe how good it was! It's such a little hole in the wall, that shares a space with a vegan sushi counter, that we couldn't have anticipated it's deliciousness. We got the pad thai and yellow curry, and agreed that both were the best we've ever had. There were amazing vegetables in the yellow curry. That's exactly how it should be! I hate going places, and only having a few chunks of tofu and potato in it. Thai Vegan puts squash, zucchini, carrots, and other veggies that work perfectly in the curry. Same goes with the pad thai. It had zucchini slices, and other vegetables I never thought would work, but that turned out to be amazing. On top of that, the woman that works there was an absolute doll. She was very sweet, easy to communicate with, and quite generous. I wanted to go back today, but didn't have time. I will, however, definitely be going back soon, and taking my friends with me.

Julia G.

Yelp
Amazing and delicious food!! And a lot for the money. Definitely recommend going there. Cute little store with a few seat options inside and outdoor. Nice, friendly staff!

Maria R.

Yelp
Food was pretty great and tasty. It is well seasoned and tasty. The dumplings were particularly delicious! But the massanan curry could have done with a bit of extra salt or refining. The flavor was there but it didn't have the same pop of deliciousness as some different Thai places where I got the same curry, but it was still pretty decent. I got the food to go so they seem to have a nice shared outdoor seating area in the little market square they have. The area looks pretty cute. I would still recommend this place since I rate it 7/10 which is pretty good but I reserve 8/10 and above for amazing mouthwatering food that you would want to call home and any of your friends to come eat at. I ordered to go and the food came sealed and ready on time. Service was normal, they didn't miss anything and brought our food to the outdoor seating so thank you.
google avatar

Prachi J.

Yelp
This is a pretty unsuspecting place when you walk by. They have a order at counter style, with self service for food/utensils. Given the price and location (Santa Monica), this place was amazing for portion and quality! The pad Thai was a clear winner, with the fresh rolls being quite good as well. We felt that the panang curry was just OK, definitely not as good as the other items we ordered. Will be back if I'm in LA again
google avatar

Ali A.

Yelp
I ordered pad see ew, which is noodles, I lived in Thailand I know 100% that isn't soup but over the phone they told me "this is how we make pad see ew the picture is wrong" Refused on refund. So weird, I paid for something that I didn't even order.
google avatar

Maureen L.

Yelp
My go to healthy and delicious takeout Love the pineapple curry and the steamed or fried dumplings!
google avatar

Cathy S.

Yelp
This place is so good. The outside looks like a shack ready to be demolished but the place serves unassuming, good food at a very reasonable price. You won't miss the meat because the flavoring is on point. Pad Thai - 5/5 Huge portion and delicious noodles. Service - 5/5 Friendly and quick. LOVE that they got rid of the stupid parking lot and made it a dining area for the surrounding businesses!
google avatar

Monica S.

Yelp
Meh food meh service I expected more from a californian thai resto. Papaya salas definitely frozen. Pad thai not bad and liked mock chicken . Tofu pineapple curry a bit sweet.
google avatar

Annie S.

Yelp
Yummy, affordable vegan Thai food. It seems like it's more of a casual to-go spot, so there's limited outdoor seating, but still a decently cute ambiance. I got the pad see ew and Thai tea. I could not tell the pad see ew was vegan, and the portion was massive. The Thai tea, however, was not very good. I only got it because they only have bottled water, which is not much cheaper than the Thai tea. I'd definitely go back if I'm craving fairly-priced Thai food on the west side!
google avatar

Vishal B.

Yelp
Wow, this place have gone down in quality and taste. I am being shocked! Not sure if this is under new ownership or new cook. This used to be my go to place when I visit this part of the town but I guess no more. Just horrible!!! I am not coming back here again. Good luck!
google avatar

Adrian C.

Yelp
Whereas and cabbage is generally light if present TV loads it on which is nice anywhere and there's broccoli too. I chose soy chx for its spongy flex.... The serving was generous. The patio is fragile like elephant umbrella stands and the finches are friendly.... Deep Bohemian vibe...
google avatar

Athena K.

Yelp
The Westside's vegan Thai food gem, rivaling Vegan House Thai Bistro in Hollywood. Ordered on a delivery app, and the food was phenomenal. I have tried several vegan options in this area, but they all suck because they lack flavor AND are more expensive!!! Not only is Vegan Thai's food LEGIT, their prices are the best. Each entree is only ~$10, which is a great deal compared to other Thai restaurants that sell their subpar noodles for $15-20. I highly recommend the Pad Thai, Soy Sauce Noodles, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Tom Kha Soup. Also, I love that this is an all-vegan restaurant! Will be coming back for more.
google avatar

Brandi J.

Yelp
Super good food! The gal that took our order was kind and thoughtful. The seating is a little more like a third world country but that seems to be part of the charm. There is a public restroom that is shared with the other businesses in the complex. I had pad Thai and steamed vegetables. I like my veggies a little more on the crisp side but they were nicely cooked. Even had some winter squash!! My husband had tofu vegetable soup and veggie dumplings. Broth had nice flavor and the dumplings came with a dipping sauce that wasn't your average soy sauce. Vegan juice drinks and other delights were also on the menu. If I lived in Santa Monica I would be ratting here once a week!!

Kia S.

Yelp
Ordered the extra meat with the pineapple fried rice and it tasted horrible. Asked for a refund and they said no, I asked if they can do an exchange and they also said no. Inside is very small too. Do not recommend unless you want to waste your money.
google avatar

Chris J.

Yelp
I had take out for dinner pad Thai, it was perfect! A few weeks later, I had pad Thai at the restaurant for lunch. It was burnt. Take your chances!
google avatar

Jamie C.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place out for YEARS, and I finally got the opportunity last night after a Crossfit workout :) It was a fantastic experience, nice casual/chill spot with excellent food! We ordered the tofu satay, massaman curry, and the stir fried veggies with tofu- all the dishes were fantastic and affordable too; yay! I walked over from parking up the street, as parking seems extremely limited directly in front (same issue really for all of the Main St. establishments). This is perfect for a fast, casual meal! Can't wait to come back soon!

Random E.

Yelp
Tasty food, and it wasn't long before I ordered it that I received my food for pick up. The ambiance was a small business vibe, but it was nice. There was a small outside seating area as well. It was great to be able to experience Thai food without the worry if there was fish sauce in my meal. I got the Thai Yellow Curry and the Thai Iced Coffee. Both had great flavor. The curry had unique vegetables like squash in it and the flavorful curry coated the noodles with the tofu perfectly. On top of that, I requested chili sauce which provided a tangy yet spicy bite in my meal. satiated me greatly, and I had no issues with this restaurant at all.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is just okay to be honest but I had kind of a bad experience last week that reminded me just how cheap some establishments can be. The food is decent but definitely not the best Thai food nor the most flavorful. There are tons of better options in Westwood/ BH if you're looking for. Generally every single establishment I have been to has rice as a standard add on with their food or charges $1 extra. I had paid for my food on Uber eats and called right after to add rice to the order. I live a 10 minute walk away. Came in with my puppy who was restless to pick up my food and only had an old credit card stored in my digital wallet- no physical wallet. Assumed they would have charged the card on the Uber eats app. Needless to say... the lady at the register rang me up $4 for a side of rice and I had to go back home to retrieve my card to pay for - a side of rice. Not only was I embarrassed for not having my wallet on me but .... This experience definitely showed me these people only care about money. Imagine- for $4 !!! For a side of rice which is the most inexpensive/low cost item for them for the restaurant. The cashier wouldn't give me my food that I had payed for. Learned my lesson but.... Sometimes one act of paying it forward for a consistent customer can go forward a long way but certainly not in this case.
google avatar

Mei E.

Yelp
One of the best thai spots in santa monica both vegan and non-vegan! The quality of the food here is insane for the price. I've been coming here for about three years now and everything's is amazing and I've never been disappointed - so consistent! My go-to orders are the panang curry (I always opt to get it spicy) and the spicy tofu and veggie fried rice. The Pad Thai is great too.
google avatar

Brian A.

Yelp
Terrible portion. 3 piece of broccoli and limited carrots / cabbage. No taste. Do better.
google avatar

Rudy A.

Yelp
Casual cafetería little restaurant - very welcomey and very friendly. There a little window when you walk up to order and all the items are there for you to see Fresh vegetable tofu roll - one of the freshest rolls I've ever had, all the veggies was super fresh and crunchy. The peanut sauce was one of the best sauces I've ever had. Tofu vegetable soup - even though this soup was super basic it was very flavorful I didn't even realize there was glass noodles at the bottom. It was super delicious, and the veggies were big and crunchy. Plus the tofu pieces were nice and big as well. The broth was really yummy. Soy sauce noodles - think of pad see ew but way better. This is is GIANT enough for 2 people to share. Lots of veggies lots of noodles and the tofu was cooked to perfection. I would eat this just to myself. Loved this little casual restaurant. I would highly recommend this place. And great bang for your money too! 5/5
google avatar

Isha S.

Yelp
I can't believe it's all vegan!! Their chicken in the pad Thai seemed entirely real, and the portions are so good for the price they're at. Loved the pineapple fried rice and the fresh vegetables in the pad Thai but the pad Thai noodles were a little dry and could've used a little kick/more dressing. The spring rolls were fresh and the dumplings were great. Highly recommend taking your food down to Santa Monica beach for sunset, the best spot right by the restaurant.
google avatar

Ariel M.

Yelp
Meh is all I have to say. Decided to have a little lunch here before my appointment and it was nothing special. I had the Pad Thai and the noodles were all clumped together. Service was very rushy, I ordered a Thai Ice tea and luckily I checked my bag and had to go back because she forgot it. The thai ice tea had way to much ice and was not good. The outside patio is very pretty and that's probably the only nice thing about this place.
google avatar

Micah S.

Yelp
I am not vegan or vegetarian, but I love this place and have never had a bad meal here. They don't do any sort of fake meats or substitutes, they just make great Thai dishes that happen to be vegan. The pad Thai is especially delicious but I have tried most of the menu at this point and everything is quite good. Make sure to get the peanut sauce with the fresh rolls. The food comes out quickly and everything is "to-go". During COVID they had some seating in the parking lot, which was great, but I don't know how long that is going to last.
google avatar

Yamit Y.

Yelp
I developed a food obsession with their steamed vegetable dumplings. $7 for eight pieces of heaven. You have the choice between fried or steamed dumplings. Also, I love their Pad Thai and their Thai ice tea, so refreshing. Quality Vegan Thai food at a reasonable price. This place is a hidden gem in Santa Monica. Outdoor and indoor seating, parking area on top of street parking, nice and quick service.
google avatar

Claudia S.

Yelp
Only had the pad Thai with chicken (takeout) but did not disappoint! Food was made quickly & packaged well. Will be back! Enjoy :)
google avatar

Benni J.

Yelp
Thai Vegan. You used to be such a gem on this busy Main Street. You opened your unpretentious store window and served many many delicious and fresh noodles and salads to us. We come back to you and bring you our good friends. But the last few times, I'm convinced you have entirely tossed quality out the window. I'm sadden and shocked at how plain terrible the food has become. It is carelessly made with little flavor, only hints of rancid oil. It has been a good few years. Best of luck
google avatar

Anh N.

Yelp
TLDR - Wildly impressed by the Red Curry and Tom Kha soup. Best flavor compared to any other Thai place I've eaten in recent memory. Rich without being overpowering, honestly I transported to Thailand with every bite. Looking forward to trying other dishes. Got this as delivery so I can't comment on the restaurant vibes. What I love: -Red Curry - Rich, creamy, and somehow... elegant? The flavor has personality that I don't often find at other Thai restaurants -Tom Kha - Honestly, almost the same profile as the Red Curry but with the Tom Yum tang.
google avatar

Rashi G.

Yelp
So good!!I got the PAN FRIED DUMPLINGS. They are mushroom and corn filled I believe. Crispy and excellent sauce. Parking was a little difficult and seating is outside but would definitely come back and try other things!

Yelp
We love Thai Vegan. Their Pad Thai is so good, and the portions are so large, it's hard to finish in one sitting. Their prices are excellent compared to any takeout place, and the pickup orders are always ready sooner than expected. They are fast and efficient. We've been going there for years, and feel lucky to have them close by.
