I had high hopes for this Thai restaurant, but unfortunately, it fell short in almost every way.
The restaurant is set in a charming old house, which gives it a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the setting. The food was fine but nothing memorable—just your average, run-of-the-mill dishes that lacked any real wow factor.
While the presentation of each dish was very lovely, the food was bland and uninspired—lacking the bold flavors and freshness that make Thai cuisine so great.
There were a lot of servers milling about behind the counter which made it feel chaotic and disorderly. There were very eager to bring water to the tables but seemed very confused and not very knowledgable about the food itself.
What really ruined the experience for me was the older woman, clearly in charge, who came out to look around the dining area and noticed a table with 4 people who were done eating. She asked if they were waiting for something. It was not done in a way to see if they needed anything, but more in a way to let them know it was time to go. The table was clearly uncomfortable and got up to leave. They had been enjoying their time but it was halted immediately to scoot them out the door. Very rude.
Overall, it wasn’t a great experience, but it wasn’t terrible either. If you’re looking for a nice place to sit and chat, the ambiance is a plus, but don’t expect to be able to sit a while.
