I ordered the curry noodles, pad Thai, and bacon fried rice, and all three dishes were delicious. The staff were friendly, and ordering through the kiosk was very convenient. I would definitely come back again!

Google
Fast and causal Thai place ! Very fair prices for the Princeton area. Can't go wrong. I got the drunken noodles. If you like spicy def recommend to get medium not mild ! But you can ask for extra hot sauce on the side.

Google
I ordered Pad Thai and Thai fried rice. I was quite disappointed. The Thom Yum soup was too lemony. I know it is supposed to taste sour, but all I could taste was the lemon. The Pad Thai was too sweet, and the fried rice was undercooked. On the upside, the service was quite good.

Google
Such a great place. Super good tasting and authentic food. Staff is super nice too. Would definitely recommend. 😁

Google
I love Thai village so much!! I came here throughout my college life and frequently visit post-college life. Their pad see ew and pad Thai are amazinggggggg. The food comes out quickly too and the atmosphere is great!

Google
Thai Village is absolutely one of the best Thai restaurants in Princeton on Nassau Street, which is super convenient. My family and I are regular patrons and we even catered food from them for our house parties because the food is simply amazing. The staffs are great and friendly whenever we eat there, service is top notch, the food is so yummy, and price is reasonable that we can eat there everyday. We also bring our friends there. Thank you Thai Village!

Google
Recommended by friends 🧡. Very tasty food! 😋 Green curry🍛 and coconut 🥥 chicken soup are my favorite 😍

Google
Thai Village was fantastic! We ordered the Pad Thai, Thai Basil, and a beef stir-fry dish—everything was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and fast. This is definitely a go-to spot for great Thai food. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Yelp
This food was amazing. We dropped by for lunch. Pineapple fried rice. Shrimp Drunken Noodles. Edamame. Money Purses. Spring Rolls. Food was excellent. Served straight from the wok.

Yelp
This is not THAI food. It's more like poor quality Chinese food. Not sure what's happen to this place but it really is awful. The Thai tea taste artificial. Do not believed it's brewed, probably a syrup mix. The peanut dressing cannot have any actually peanuts- just a bunch of sugar and soy sauce. I had a Thai noodle dish, tastes nothing like a the Thai dish Ive had my whole life, tasted ok but it's not Thai food. Should not be called a Thai restaurant. Obviously, not coming back.

Yelp
Lunch special is phenomenal. Chicken pad Thai is about $12 and comes with a spring roll or other choices. Great amount of food for a low price. Service is extremely quick and the lunchtime it seems is super popular for folks to come in and with good reason. Overall ambiance is nice it's more of a hole in wall place which is certainly my vibe. I will be back!

Yelp
Food was little salty but the appetizer set was so delicious! Service was good it might take some time for meal to come since they freshly cook for each dish just be mindful of it.

Yelp
Excellent service with great tasting food. One of the best pad thai places we've eaten in a while. The braised beef noodle soup is also very good. The beef was so tender and you get the option of flat noodles or regular noodles. I opted for the flat noodles which went very well with the beef. We also ordered the lychee iced thai tea as well the regular thai tea. We didn't get to try the lychee thai tea as soon after it was brought out, they took it back saying the lychee wasn't good. They brought out a regular thai tea instead. Plenty of seating for small or large group. They also have outdoor seating. Overall, very happy with the food and service.

Yelp
Excellent Thai food in a warm cozy environment with friendly service pineapple fried rice with chicken was delicious as was the curry noodles with chicken -so good I wanted to lick the plate clean Portions were a good size Server was very helpful as well as friendly Can't wait to go back

Yelp
Smallish but authentic place. Quick serving put please request (plead) them to clean frying pans if you are 100% vegetarian and want to avoid cross-contamination.

Yelp
Great Thai place for a quick lunch. They have an affordable lunch menu and we really liked the red curry and the Tom kha gai starter soup. Be wary of the spice level, if you are sensitive the "mild" version will be plenty!

Yelp
I remember first coming to Thai Village almost 20 years ago and being blown away by the food. At the time, I hadn't experienced enough Thai food, nor were there the plethora of Thai restaurant options we see today in the area. Over the years, I have had less than stellar experiences, so it's safe to assume that the overall low rating is based on years of prior reviews. Thai Village has been under new owners, since 2020 and I must say that our meal was fabulous. Undoubtedly, the biggest plus for this place is its prime location right on Nassau Street in Princeton. We had lunch here on Saturday - we ordered the Tom Yum Soup, Thai Basil Chicken, Sweet and Sour Thai Vegetables, and Tofu Drunken Noodles. Our party of 4 devoured everything and the food was flavorful and delicious. The portion sizes were on the smaller side in relation to the prices and when compared to other places. Overall, a good food experience.

Yelp
This place is excellent. The prices are reasonable unlike Amazing Thai. Lil Thai Pin is horrible, see my review. Their wide egg noodles are amazingly soft. The owner gives great service and is kind. I had the braised beef flank noodle soup. I was chasing the flavors of Vietnamese pho, but this was a bit spicier with chili oil. Still, the noodles were amazing, and the beef was so tender and flavorful. I also had the mixed vegetables dish, with added beef. This was also excellent with fresh crunchy veggies and soft beef. I wish it didn't have excess brown gravy though. I was chasing the experience of Palms Thai on Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood, CA, which is amazing. This was close. If you don't want sweet, I would strongly recommend drunken noodles with beef. My tab came out to $28, $34 with tip. No drinks except water.

Yelp
Really didn't think super highly of the expensive but shoddy quality Private Dining room that this location has upstairs. For a privately booked venue, I really hoped that at least the tables, utensils, and chairs would be set up for us! Food was ok though!

Yelp
Came here for lunch with a couple of friends a few weeks back and enjoyed myself. It took a while to read through the menu because it was pretty massive - lots of different options! I'm always tempted by the drunken noodle (AKA the pad see ew) but ended up ordering the Thai Beef instead (extra hot). The food was brought out pretty quickly, and I thought it was pretty tasty! The cut of beef wasn't anything super special, but there was a lot of flavor infused, and the hotness wasn't insane but it definitely packed a punch. The portion size was perfect for lunch, but I do think it was a little too expensive for the amount of food. Overall, I can imagine coming back here, but I'd have to really be craving Thai because it's just a little too pricey for me ($17.95 before tax and tip) under normal circumstances :)
google avatar

Yikai L.

Yelp
Pad see ew was really good. The chef was very attentive - she noticed the spicy mango salad was a bit too spicy and was suggesting to make a non-spicy version.
google avatar

Yelp
Service - GREAT. very polite. FOOD - really good. The spring rolls (fried) are a bit bland but the sauce makes it. The Ginger Fried Rice is delish I love the strong ginger in there but too much fish sauce. The Green Curry is dynamite! I got medium spice level and it's not too spicy. The green curry was packed with veggies I loved it! COVID-19 - sat outside and at at the restaurant. Got bottled water as I wasn't comfortable with a glass. the staff was wearing masks and gloves and sanitized between customers. Whatever they sanitize with smelled strongly of alcohol which put me at ease actually to know they are sanitizing well. You cannot go inside the restaurant at all, you just sit at a table and they bring a menu to you.
google avatar

Yelp
I've eaten here both before and after covid. I've noticed the prices have gone up, service has gone down, and the portion size stayed the same. Taste is ok but overpriced IMO. Space inside the restaurant is still cramped. They also started charging customers the Credit Card service fee on the receipt..

Jessie R.

Yelp
We found a short black hair in our fired tofu, basically fried into it. We immediately told the waitress who apologized. It was no taken off the bill.
google avatar

Yelp
So I tried another dish - pad see eww and it was just ok ... I would stick to the pad Thai if I order again

Yelp
I've been going here for years: before all the newer Thai spots popped up, Thai Village was one of the few Thai spots in the area. I like that I know what I'll get, it's nothing fancy but it's to the point and fills your craving. They did recently get a new management and I did notice the prices went up a bit. I usually get the veggie or chicken pad Thai. Their Thai iced tea does not disappoint. Their roti canai appetizer comes with two pieces of warm roti and the sauce is tangy and sweet.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Been going here to eat for a while now. The place was just newly renovated. Service is usually extremely fast, so if you are looking for a quick place to dine in or get take out, I'd recommend coming here. The food is pretty delicious, so I really don't understand the poor reviews. In terms of authenticity, the Thai food served is more americanized. It's just like if you go to some chinese restaurant, you shouldn't expect it to 100% represent true Chinese dishes. Overall, I'd recommend trying it out.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Where do i begin? Hmmm. Ill start by saying that it was my first time at this place and definately my last too. I wouldnt eat here for free. Ill start with the service. I came in around 2pm on a sunday I shouldve known something was wrong because the place was pretty much deserted. Only 3 customers and they were dining outside I walked in and the server kept passing by me while i waited for a few mins No one was seated inside. After about 5 mins the server which is also the hostess looked at me and said "sit anywhere on that side " The server was rude and have no people skills whatsoever Facial expression wa like a mannequin ... she looked dead Not friendly or a smile Just rude Then i order the food The food comes out and It was so bland and no flavor noodles were rubbery maybe microwaved Barely poultry in the dish I had ordered the chicken and tofu drunken noodles(pad kee mao) The food was not even decent I give the food a 1 and the service a 0 Place was a waste of time and money I literally had 3 bites and that was it talk about a Terrible place If you want great thai food go to thai mama in crandford nj Trust me youll never go back to thai village Not even if they gave the food away for free
google avatar

Yobe Q.

Yelp
Ordered during the holidays when we had friends visiting from NYC, the food was really delicious. We had red curry and it was the best our fam had ... it was much more creamier than other places we've tried. They really got the red curry down right. We also ordered Padthai for take out and knew that we would have to heat it up at home and the noddles wouldn't be as great from a take out order but we still enjoyed it. The food was prepped pretty fast, we called in advance and had a good experience with the staff. Would def be coming back and considering them for our next catering event!
google avatar

Cari H.

Yelp
They changed the owners I guess. Food isn't the same I've tried them twice since Covid and it's mediocre at best. Not as fresh and flavorful as it once was. What a shame.
google avatar

Yinuo Z.

Yelp
Got their house noodle w tofu and spicy. It was goood. Got the wok hay going. check out their extensive menu!!

Madi W.

Yelp
the younger servers are quite nice (we brought a cake in for free, other fancier places would charge). the food is pretty good -- the panang curry had all the right elements and a good portion size. service can be a bit slow.
google avatar

He H.

Yelp
Rude owner - We dined there and all 3 of us got sick. If you have food allergies, beware, because they do not know about the food they serve. How could they? they didn't make it! Do not believe their assurances, they don't know the ingredients because they didn't read the label. They are just heating up somebody else' recipe and they don't bother to read the ingredients. So when they tell you there are no nuts, or anything else, don't believe them. By the way, nut allergies can be deadly, but these people don't care. They will freely lie to your face and not acknowledge their mistakes, not change their ways. Who knows what else they misrepresent?
google avatar

Yelp
Good food! We tried the Dumplings and they are reasonable big, good portions. Also tried the Spring rolls and it was delicious. I order the Fried rice with Shrimp, Chicken and Meat, it has a lot of big chunks of meat. It was delicious. My wife order Pad Talay, it had a sea food party on the plate. Also with good taste. Overall the food is really good

Yelp
I was in the Princeton area on Sunday and I was actually craving sushi buttttttt I know it's not a smart choice for sushi on a Sunday so, I went with Thai food instead. I have to say that this place needs an Extreme Makeover Restaurant Edition (where is Ty Pennington when you need him!?) I mean from the floors to the walls just everything. If you're looking for fancy then this place definitely isn't for you. I didn't enjoy the employees being on their phones the whole time they had customers to attend to. When we walked in there were three employees and they were all sitting on their phones and we actually had to yell, " excuse me" just to get notice ( we were all in the same room believe it or not). The customer service needs a lot of improvement. Now, onto the food. I don't know how I felt about it, I mean it was good but not great. I think the bar I set for Thai food is pretty high since my first experience eating Thai was so so SO amazing. But I'm not knocking this place my Pad si-io was good, it wasn't great but it was good and a decent portion as well. I don't think I would visit this location again for mainly two reasons. One being the service and two being that I have better Thai food closer to where I reside with more attentive service and better decor.

Yelp
We know businesses are struggling during Covid time this is why we try to support them as much as we can during the weekends. Today we had a terrible experience with Thai village, flavor was terrible, (we have had Thai many times and tried this place for the first time, again to support and give everyone a chance) but who ever cooked had no idea what Thai food tastes like! ) the size of the portions was ridiculous; overall a terrible experience. We know they are struggling but who isn't right? Please don't buy from them!

Amber L.

Yelp
I highly recommend their new item "Holy Basil Pork (Pad Kra Pao)"! It's very flavorful and make you want to order extra rice! The chopped string bean, cilantro and thai basil makes every bite refreshing. (Got too excited forgot to take pic lol) They are owned by new owner now and even added some new items such as salted egg pork. Can't wait to try them next time! Pic: Thai Ice tea and Fresh Mango Sticky Rice (I had to take out cuz I'm too full lol)

Yelp
My family comes to Princeton on the day after Christmas every year to see the tree and do some shopping. We always, without fail, come to this restaurant to get Pad Thai before our long spree. The restaurant is never what I would call crowded, but there is always someone else dining there. The food comes out quickly, and is always hot and fresh. It was exceptionally chilly the day we visited, so we all got soup as well. I got the number 1, which is a mix of hot and sour and lemongrass. The hot and sour does not reflect well in this combination but the lemongrass sheds light on the Thai specialty. I always opt for the shrimp Pad Thai because it is really great here. They put the peanut shavings on the side so you can mix in any desired amount. One person in my party got a Thai red curry sauce with shrimp, which was spicy but also very good. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick, filling bite to eat in a quiet atmosphere!

Emily B.

Yelp
I ordered spring rolls, beef satay, and Masaman curry. The spring rolls were wet and loosely filled with brownish bean sprouts, thickly julienned carrots (difficult to eat), and cooking onion pieces, The minimal sauce was watery and tasteless. The waiter served me chicken satay instead of the beef satay that I had ordered. The chicken was overcooked, dry, and tasteless. The peanut sauce was watery and did nothing to complement the chicken. The curry was a disaster! The bowl of rice might have been good....the day before I had placed my order. Shame on you! I read the menu, and the listed ingredients were not included in the food that I was served. Furthermore, the food preparation techniques lacked basic culinary skills in cutting, flavor balance, and presentation. No, I will not return.
google avatar

Reid Z.

Yelp
This restaurant is great. Probably the best place in town for a casual meal in my opinion. The service is always exceptional. The food is good. I've enjoyed all of my dishes that I've ever ordered here - the salmon, the panang curry, the pad thai. I've enjoyed all my appetizers that I've had here too that I've shared. It's very interesting and fun that Thai Village serves coconut water in coconuts! Would recommend. My biggest complaint is that their spiciest way to make meals isn't spicy enough for me. I look forward to returning again here.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Fast service, helpful server, nice food presentation and tasty. 3 of us wanted Thai and where close by. Start d with the steamed dumplings- largest I've ever been served. Good. Shared the mango chicken and shrimp in green curry sauce- Good easy meal.
google avatar

Inga C.

Yelp
Excellent food! Great Service! Highly recommend the chicken pad Thai, the Thai Iced Tea, and the steamed pork dumplings. This is my go-to order and I'm sharing it with you. You can thank me later. I don't have pics because I always forget to take them. Once i get there I'm so excited to eat that I don't bother to take the pics but I will next time. Street parking is the only negative but so far I've never had an issue.

Yelp
Thai cooking cuisine is great Thai homemade taste.I like green curry beef and mango strimp.Thai food is known for its balance of three to four fundamental taste senses in each dish or the overall meal:sour, sweet, salty, and bitter!

Rayaan S.

Yelp
Food came out fast and quality of the meal was amazing. The service was really good and I feel that the spice level for the food was just right! Only issue is that this place was understaffed and it definitely needs more hype than it currently has.

Gee U.

Yelp
Worst Thai food i have ever tried. The place didn't look good. The water glass was stinking. My stomach started hurting as soon as i left the place.. the staff is not friendly as well. We ordered extra spicy because we know we can tolerate it. Many more things to add The table was wet we asked them to clean so that we can rest out hand on the table. No one came to do so and at the end we have do by ourselves by using napkin provided. The drunken noodle was dry. May be you should try another recipes. Spicy crispy tofu was not even a tofu. It was fried paneer with added some store bought sticky sauce.. the sauce was so sticky that i can use it as a glue. We didn't like the food and didn't like your service so in that regards 8%tip is still better.. you deserve nothing for what we had. Let me reiterated here: tip is what you give some one for their service and its not mandatory.

Yelp
Incredibly surprised by the low ratings that this excellent establishment has received recently. Extremely reasonable pricing for what you get. The restaurant is clean, adheres to COVID-19 restrictions, and you can grab a tiny guava candy on your way out if you so choose. Overall, Thai Village is my go-to for lunch during this pandemic. The staff are friendly and courteous, the food comes out in a timely manner, and it is one of the best Thai food in the area. I always order the chicken pad thai and I enjoy every last bite!
google avatar

Cecilia Z.

Yelp
Great food! I had the papaya salad and chicken satay and both were very good. They had a wide variety of options and we enjoyed them.
google avatar

Yelp
We have been here many times before. This is a great casual Thai restaurant about a mile East of Princeton University. Today, we started off with Crab Rangoon as an appetizer. My Wife had Thai Fried Rice and my daughter and I both had Pad Thai (I had shrimp and my Daughter had beef). We all had Thai Tea and Sticky Rice with Mango for dessert (one serving was enough for three people). As always food and service were both authentic and excellent. Have never had a bad experience here. Small and cozy with a real family business feel. I highly recommend it to everyone. Today, we all had "pop" Thai food. They do a great job with standard Thai-American fare dishes. But other times I had duck and curry dishes--always excellent with great value and nice cozy atmosphere.
google avatar

Vram N.

Yelp
No good. Perhaps ok for the local student clientele but not recommended for those that have experienced Thai food at other establishments. Uncaring and dismissive staff, unusually small entree portions at full prices with average to less than average quality and flavor. Sorry to say, not recommended at all.
google avatar

Mark F.

Yelp
First time here Inside/outdoor tables Many different choices on the menu Fast service No rush to leave table after our meal Not expensive Will return again Highly recommend !

Yelp
Good for that Thai food craving, but not much else. I picked up dinner one night after yoga feeling unmotivated to cook. It was ready fast and was super hot, which was awesome since I had a drive home. Ordered Masaman Curry and Pad See Ew, both of them looked and smelled great. the Pad See Ew was great, no complaints. However the masaman, usually the star of the show, was bland. Usually the broth is chock-full of vegetables, chicken (we ordered chicken), potatoes, and more; this just had 1-2 potato pieces and some chicken. Not really that great food-broth ratio; also the curry was super light and not very flavorful. Otherwise, its okay, I would go back if I was craving, but there are a LOT better options out there.

M Y.

Yelp
Moderate food.. Based on the host's suggestion I got the crispy tofu entree, it's more Chinese than Thai.. Perhaps need to try some other entree to make a definite comment on this restaurant Great location, awesome for outdoor seating

Anna N.

Yelp
Wanted to review since they have a bad star rating. The food was so good. I got the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and chicken satay plus jasmine rice. Rice wasn't salted enough for my taste but I like salty rice, not everyone does. The fried rice was a bit spicy but nothing unmanageable. The only thing that could've made it better was more shrimp! But it was so delicious. The chicken satay didn't come with enough sauce but I will just ask for extra next time. The sauce and chicken itself were delicious. Overall I would definitely order there again. Really good food. Definitely try it!

Yelp
I came here for dinner on a weekend evening, and enjoyed my meal here. I thought the wait staff was a bit grumpy, and the service was a little slow, but otherwise everything was great. The portion sizes were reasonable, and the prices were pretty cheap (although not poor college student cheap). I thought all the dishes we ordered had great flavor, although I don't know Thai cuisine very well and so I cannot comment on the authenticity of the flavors. However, overall very delicious and very filling.
google avatar

Sonam P.

Yelp
Amazing food not sure why the rating is low, staff was very kind. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the outdoor dining. 10/10 recommend
google avatar

Laura H.

Yelp
I had food delivered. The springs rolls were simply bean sprouts, nothing else. The noodles were rubbery and dry with no vegetables and dry chicken. I don't get the positive reviews except possibly Thai food for people who don't like Thai food.

Shaun M.

Yelp
Fine prints to overcharge on everything - 4% convenience fee for 'not paying cash ' , choice of proteins doesn't include eggs so $2 for that and strike 3 - $2 for rice which was 'included' when asked on phone -- better value elsewhere.
