"The best Thai food in town I’ve had. It’s next to one of those indoor trampoline places. They have three different duck dishes on the menu that they absolutely nail." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Google
Definitely one of the tastiest and best pad Thai spots in Vancouver! Great and fast service, placed my order over the phone and 5-10 minutes later it was hot and ready! Pad Thai with chicken: cooked perfectly and not too spicy or anything. It was just right and they added a lot of chicken (much more than other spots). Pad Thai with tofu: my wife really liked it! Said it was tasty and they added lots of tofu as well. Shrimp rolls: very fresh and nicely sized. Peanut sauce came with it and was very good. Overall, all around great, give this place a try!

Google
We are pretty picky about Thai food and this place did not disappoint! We managed to get to the restaurant a few minutes before 3 p.m., so we were able to get the lunch special. We ordered the Panang Curry and the Yakasoba. Both were fantastic! We also had the Cream Cheese Wontons as an appetizer which was also amazingly delicious! We loved their food down to the last bite. Highly recommend!

Google
I’ve been here before & it was excellent. Today was just okay - not spicy at all I wasn’t asked & didn’t think about it until I started eating it. My food is pretty bland. Ordered to go, no utensil or napkin. The dining area was empty. Sad. I used to be over the moon about the Pad Thai at this place

Excellent lunch in a small restaurant setting. Great service in this small , strip mall Thai restaurant. Thai Wok Kitchen was packed at lunchtime but we found 1 open booth. Even though the restaurant was full , our server came quickly and our order came out surprisingly fast. The fresh rolls were excellent--fresh and full of goodies. The Drunken Noodles--L3 on the lunch menu was loaded with pork and expertly prepared. Ambiance was pleasant but not 1st date material. Handicap doeable. Reasonable prices Final Take--Recommended

Google
The best prepared Thai food I have had in years. I tried the drunken noodles based upon the reviews. Did not disappoint. Full of flavor, freshly prepared. My partner had the Pad Thai, which he pronounced as very good. We've tried Thai literally across the US in the past few years, and this is hands down the best. Plenty of vegetarian options. Simple interior, clean restroom. Great service. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Google
The food was VERY, VERY good. I went out on a limb and ordered something I've never tried or heard of and I am so, so happy that I did. It was called the Thai basil special and it was there special for the month of October. My wife and kids all ordered their own meals as well and all were fantastic. Highly recommended this place especially considering my daughter is CELIAC and this place tends to those needs. Atmosphere is as good as one could expect but the food speaks volumes.

Google
We had the Tom Kha, Panang Curry, Fresh Rolls, Papaya Salad and Pad Thai. The food was fresh and flavorful.

Google
This is my new go-to for Thai food! Not only was the food delicious, it was plentiful. I got the pad see ew, the red curry, the eggplant delight & the original holy basil. Every single dish was so good & there was so much, not only because I ordered an unbelievable amount, but because their portions are so big! It made so many meals that whole week. AND they threw in a salad roll! Like I needed any more food. To me the prices are similar to other Thai restaurants, but the portions are so much bigger. I would also just like to point out that their hours online are incorrect. They close at 8:30pm, not 9pm. I did not know this so I felt horrible when I came tumbling in through their door at 8:55pm. I was very grateful they waited for me. So thumbs up on the food, the portions & the staff that evening!

Yelp
This little restaurant has been open for some time now and I have eaten here before but it has been years. Recently Facebook posted "top five reviewed restaurants in Vancouver on Yelp" and I wanted to try it out again and was not disappointed at all! First I ordered the pot stickers (sorry no pictures) and I was not disappointed at all, had a lot of flavors and the sauce was very good. They lightly sprinkle a crunch topping over the pot stickers and it added a new depth to the taste. For dinner I ordered the Kao Soii with chicken and you must be a peanut sauce lover! This sauce was so dang good and had just a little punch of heat to it! The egg noodles were just right and the pickled cabbage was really delicious! I highly recommend this dish! I can see why this place has high marks on Yelp and I will be back and will order this dish again. One thing I will start to do in my reviews is point out something that was missed at the restaurants in hopes that owners are reading what I have said see that maybe changes need to be made. I found that the booths were not big guy with a belly friendly, from what I could see when I walked out the booths could be moved around and make them a little bit more comfortable. Provide more napkins, it's a small request but serving a meal with a sauce and one thin napkin, messes are going to happen. Lastly and this is something that will go away soon since summer is almost over is the fly issue in the restaurant, invest in the ultra blue light devices that help trap the bugs.

Yelp
I was visiting the area from New York City, and mainly had Thai food the entire time. I went to three different places while I was there, and Thai Wok Kitchen was the best. I loved the food, and it was very high quality and fresh. The service was great and the restaurant was cosy and welcoming. I would definitely go there again. This was the best food I had on my entire trip to the Portland area.

Mehdi A.

Yelp
Stopped here again to try some of their other dishes... we tried Pumpkin Curry with Chicken and brown rice and the Pad Ke Ma. Both dishes were served hot and tasted great. As seen in the pictures, the portions are generous as well, so are definitely shareable. We like the service here as you get plenty of attention while dining here. The restaurant is quiet with good ambience so you can carry a conversation without having to talk loudly. We will definitely come back to try some of the other dishes on their menu.

Kelsie B.

Yelp
Good was great, service was good! We got spice level 3 which was decent level (we like spicy and probably could have gone for level 4 but good kick)

Peggy M.

Yelp
Yum! There are loads of Thai restaurants in Vancouver but this is one that might become my go-to. It's a small place, set in a strip mall, but the food was delicious. We got the Thom Ka Soup, Panang Curry and the Eggplant Delight. All were deicious but the Eggplant was a stand-out. It was tender and savory with lots of onions. The sauce was so good! The Panang and Thom Ka were excellent as well. The green beans in the Panang were tender crisp and perfectly cooked. Our server was friendly and helpful. I will for sure be back!

Mike C.

Yelp
Ordered take out last night. The eggplant delight and red curry were both amazing and good size portions!!!

Sassy D.

Yelp
The food is AMAZING!!!! I had the Pineapple Fried Rice and it was the best I've ever had!!! My husband had the Basil plates and we are both raving!! The service is fantastic. Server is friendly and helpful. We have been to many Thai restaurants and this is instantly our #1 favorite. We will absolutely tell everyone and we look forward to coming back!

Jeannie D.

Yelp
I ordered online for pickup, I arrived before the scheduled time and my food was ready. Really friendly lady gave me my food and it was nice and hot!! The place was nice, smelled good and was clean. I got pad Thai, I'm always searching for the good stuff. This place hit the spot! The perfect ingredients and great flavor!! I'm so excited to have this place so close to my office !! I will absolutely be back!!

Leslie K.

Yelp
After searching high and low for Drunken Noodles that met the elevated bar that I somehow set for myself, the search has finally ended, and right here in Vancouver! Not just the drunken noodles, virtually everything we ordered was prepared and presented to perfection....heads a d shoulders above so many others. The environment is pretty simple, nothing special which might throw some people off, but please believe me, this is as far (or near) as you need to go to get excellent Thai food!

Amy M.

Yelp
Just order pad Thai and coconut shrimp. And I have to say the pad Thai first of all did not look too appetizing but tasting it was I got the impression they added more sauce because maybe it was an old meal. I hate to say that, but I do know sometimes those things happen. i'm really disappointed because I love Thai food and wanted to try somewhere new. The music was overly loud in there too for being such a small place. Has only about 12 tables. My coconut shrimp were delicious.

Penny S.

Yelp
We liked this little Thai place so much my husband came back for more the next day! Our car was in the shop at Dick Hannah, and it was getting on towards dinner time. Thankfully we had my car. I read some Yelp reviews and we decided to give this restaurant a try, as it was only a mile away from where we were. Wow! The flavors were so good! I haven't had Thai this good for awhile-especially in the 'Couve! We chose medium spicy for all 3 of our dishes. The Panang Curry with beef came out first. Yum! Great flavors. They were very generous with all the perfectly cooked green beans in this dish. Next came the Eggplant Delight, with tofu. Wow! Best eggplant ever-soft & creamy, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. There were also red bell peppers and lots of onions in a little bit of flavorful brown sauce. The dish is well-named. Last came the Tom Kah Soup, with chicken. (Note: you can choose any protein for any dish. These are what we chose). The soup was a little sour and it came last, so I wasn't as crazy about it as the other dishes. Some people like that sour taste, so that didn't affect my star rating. I was a little surprised it came last though. The service was prompt and friendly. I'm looking forward to going back soon! Like I said, my husband already has! The prices were also very reasonable.

James W.

Yelp
This place is quick and everything tastes great! The crab moons and Red Curry might be my favorite

David S.

Yelp
Standard place. Appears that it could be cleaned up better, tables felt greasy. Food came out quick and was decent and well made.

Jason C.

Yelp
Went in to order Thai coffee and asked for light ice since they put way too much and I'm basically paying for ice and 30% Thai tea coffee, the lady at the register said we put ice for it to not be so sweet, I said u can't make it too sweet w out putting the whole cup of ice? She seemed irritated I insisted on light ice and made the Thai coffee full of coffee and no Thai tea/milk. Would not come back at all.

Heidi H.

Yelp
Typical strip mall place. Overwhelming smell of Pine Sol cleaner made dining (and just breathing) unpleasant. Crab appetizer was a fun triangular shape, but would have preferred a chili sauce to the sweet and sour. Drunken noodles were tasteless and slightly overdone. "Spicy" wok beef was just barely chili flavored and meat was tough. The young lady who served us was very kind.

Aimee L.

Yelp
I haven't been able to find a Thai restaurant to love yet in the southern WA area. We've eaten at 4 or 5 and they all seem to suffer from indifferent saucing. TWK doesn't break that trend sadly. Yellow curry seems to be consistent no matter where you go. My BF enjoyed it and ate it all up. The Pad Thai and Fried Rice were a different matter. The Pad Thai had weirdly thick sauce that tasted like tangy salt. It was topped by a spattering of peanuts. I managed to finish it but didn't particularly enjoy it. The same applied to the rice which was unexpectedly and unwelcomingly sweet. I still have some in the fridge almost a week later and I'm not looking forward to eating it. 3 dishes comes to around $55 which is common for eating out in 2023 - 2024.

Kerri U.

Yelp
I like dogs. Just not indoors around my food. Thats pretty disgusting. Service was ok, but this experience made us decide elsewhere for our "Thai Wok" needs.

Lance S.

Yelp
A couple updates to my previous review: One feature I LOVE is that you can add individual vegetables as add-ons to the dishes. Usually when I get thai I get like a green curry as one of the items, but mainly just because I want something with bamboo shoots and eggplant. But at Thai Wok I can get like a fried rice dish or stir fry and select bamboo shoots and/or eggplant as add-ons. EXCELLENT FEATURE. As to my previous comments about other Thai restaurants- I would upgrade Delish Thai to one of my favorites in Vancouver along with Thai Wok and others I mentioned.

Lucia K.

Yelp
This place used to be our favorite take out place. Recent orders tasted either too much salt in the garlic chicken or pad Thai being way too sweet, on top of the MSG was way too much. They use to use msg just enough to be an enhancer which is great, but now they add it so much it gives you dry mouth

Randy F.

Yelp
Clean, family owned. We had multiple plates, topped off by Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. We'll definitely be back.

Gina P.

Yelp
Great Thai food!! Highly recommend this place. My absolute favorite is their Larb salad, delicious! My sons favorite, is the Thai basil. We also had shrimp stir fry, savory flavor. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

Nathan N.

Yelp
AMAZING thai food. i love the veggies they use in the drunken noodle. and when they say 5/5 for spice, they. mean. it. so deliciously spicy. their papaya salad is the best i've ever had and I keep going back for more. very kind people there too. neat and clean decorations and good ambiance

Rick L.

Yelp
Eat here on every visit to Vancouver. Thai wok has the best curry's. Their green curry and their duck curry are especially good.

Charity Z.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. The Tom Kha had the perfect balance of each delicate flavor, which is hard to find. Both the Pad Thai and Yellow Curry were equally delicious. I had a Thai iced tea and it was so good and refreshing. The place is very clean and our server was friendly, prompt, and helpful.

Yuni C.

Yelp
Ordered online and food was ready in 20 minutes. Boyfriend and I both got the chicken pad Thai and loved it. There was a good amount of protein and portions are big for their price. Will be coming back to try more of their noodles!

Jessica C.

Yelp
4/5 Pad See Ew was delicious! Great portion sizes. The mangoes were so creamy and soft! *Not pictured is the ice ice tea* came in a large cup!

Katherine W.

Yelp
After my last time there this is sadly NOT the same food. So disappointed. Pad Thai, and drunken noodle that used to be so good were terrible. Sticky noodles that were over cooked. The drunken noodle was literally a ball of noodles stuck together. It was seriously terrible. Basil friend rice was not fried rice. The salad rolls no longer had the amazing cucumber that set them apart from others. Peanut sauce was blah. Went from the best to the worst. I'm guessing it's not the same ownership?? Or something has definitely changed. Won't be back.

Stella C.

Yelp
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in town. Food is always so delicious!!! I love the beef salad and SSS chicken!!!

Paul S.

Yelp
Quality, great tasting food. Service was excellent. Will be back. Location is very accessible.

Robin P.

Yelp
Nope, just don't go here. Waste of money and time. Makes me wonder, are the 5 star reviews bot written??? Yelpers, check out the profiles and their other reviews. Yelpers, please always check the 1 & 2 star reviews too. Then go and check out the place. The extra star was for the friendly lady. The soup tasted like something that should not be consumed, and smelled like ammonia. The place was dirty. Everything had a chemical smell and looked unappetising. We hope we don't fall sick. Health inspectors need to visit this restaurant and check the hygiene here. As an additional punishment for choosing this restaurant, you will walk past drug addicts shooting outside the restaurant :-(!!

William C.

Yelp
Tasty. Service was minimal. We were checked on once and asked if it tasted ok. Portions were acceptable

Bruce W.

Yelp
Haven't been here since the beginning of the "scamdemic" but it has been on my mind to go back. We found the food to be excellent as when we were here before. I had the red curry soup & my wife the yellow, both were flavorful and hot. The service was super, the same young lady we had a few years ago is still there and spent time talking to her when it was slow. It's not a big place but the atmosphere is fine for a bite to eat. I noticed the tables have plastic on them which makes it easier to clean--- good move. Highly recommended. I always feel better after I eat here

Martin F.

Yelp
This is my third venture here for takeout. The food is quite good. I'm not sure if my tastes are less tolerant of hot spices or their medium heat level is hotter than most. It's possible that both are true. The portion sizes are generous. I've had their beef salad and tonight the special, Yum Kai Zab spicy and sour chicken. My son had spicy basil beef today, we asked for hot, and both he and I agreed that it was less spicy than the chicken. Perhaps the kitchen switched which was supposed to be medium and hot? It had a very good taste to it, I ended up eating more of that than the chicken. His previous order was Panang Curry, hot, and that is his favorite of all. The wife went for her stand by Phad Thai with chicken, she liked it every time. There will be a fourth and subsequent visit planned.

Yelp
This was an amazing dinner! An unexpected gem of a Thai restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. The peanut sauce was warm which made the fresh rolls even more delicious. Highly recommend!

Bianca M.

Yelp
After living in San Francisco for over a year and trying every Thai spot known to man, we've come to have some pretty high standards for good Thai. If you're in the Vancouver area, look no further than Thai Wok Kitchen. My go to is always the Duck Pad Thai, and it's so difficult to find places out here that serve duck as a pad Thai protein option, but I can get it here! They're always so quick with their food and the service is exceptional. The portions are quite large so you get a good stretch of about two meals per order depending on how large your appetite is. I've only taken the food to go, and haven't eaten in the restaurant, but it's never more than a 10-15 minute wait for a call in order, even at their busiest times. They also make a mean Thai iced tea, and that I can appreciate. It's not too sweet and not too thick; there's also never too much ice like some places do. There's ample parking in the shopping center it's in, and never seems to be too much traffic on the streets nearby.

Leah S.

Yelp
Pretty consistent good Thai food. There are a lot of choices but this has been a go to for years. Pad kee mao and soups have been all we've had, but always happy. They do understand spice levels so if you ask for medium or Thai level hot they'll provide!

Smile L.

Yelp
Quality is inconsistent. Quality of food has affected by time of day ordered. I've frequently ordered the Crab fried rice (with chicken and broccoli added). When I've ordered near closing time (delivery) food arrives cold to luke warm. Rice is extremely overcooked-like mush. Any seafood is easily overcooked. Unfortunately the crab was mush as well. Chicken and broccoli were cooked adequately. When ordered in the afternoon or early evening the dish arrives hot. Cooking of rice somewhat improved but still overcooked. Taste: lacks seasoning which can be remedied by seasoning food yourself. Portions are very generous. I always have leftovers for a late night snack.

Kun Y.

Yelp
Way too sweet and all the vegetables have a weird almost soapy taste. For the ones trying different Thai restaurants looking for good papaya salads, let me save you some money and tell you that this place has one of the worst; it tasted like the hand sanitizer they use at the restaurant, it's as if the person who made it sanitized their hands instead of washing them and then proceeded to touch the papaya. I'm not a fortune teller but I know you're thinking "gross" or "ew" right now. Needless to say, It's in the garbage now. In fact, all three things my wife ordered today were fed to the garbage disposal. I'd never eat here again, not if someone pays me. But if you enjoy diabetes and eating hand sanitizer fragrance then this place is for you.

Derek M.

Yelp
An anomaly, phenomenally. This is my go to place when I want some spicy food. The cooks here, are not afraid to bring the heat! I'm all about the Pad Kee Mao (aka drunken noodles). It reminds me of what I got on the streets of Bangkok. Super spicy! Yum. A+ highly recommended. 5/5 stars.

Nissa F.

Yelp
I love this little place I have incredible food that is very delicious and made so fast. I really enjoy their online ordering service it makes everything very fast and easy. Their restaurant is super cute and I really love the vibe inside everybody is very kind and professional amazing food you will not be disappointed.

Tim D.

Yelp
New ownership. As of my last visit 4/1/21. Nothing to get excited about. Food tastes different and seems no matter what you order it all taste the same. Bland. No longer my fav Thai food stop.

Riika Q.

Yelp
I ordered the Pad See Ew. I had high expectations from the reviews but I was disappointed. I got no sweetness on the pad see ew. Savory only dish. I had like 2 pieces of broccoli and three carrot chips.

Michael H.

Yelp
My favorite Thai food and place to visit when I am in town Amazing customer service and very cool people Food very good quality

Emma L.

Yelp
I got beef Pad kee mao and salad rolls togo and this was what I got. Noodles was overcooked and it looked gross tbh. It was mushy and clumped together. Favor was good but the noodle ruined it. The rice paper for salad roll was super thick. And they BOTH have HAIRS on them. I ordered many times at this place but this time was very disappointed. I don't think I will come back.

David N.

Yelp
Tried this place due to the high reviews, and it was packed when we arrived, having about a 20 minute wait for a table on a Saturday evening. I ordered what I always get when trying a Thai restaurant for the first time (for a fair point of comparison), a Panang curry w/ beef. The curry itself was greasy - not one I'd stir up with rice and enjoy. The beef was just okay, and while I enjoyed the peppers I could barely eat the green beans that were underdone. I don't mind a bit of firmness in my green beans, but these were large and still crunchy. They certainly hadn't picked up any of the flavors of the curry. My wife had a Pad Thai. The flavor was fine but the chicken was overcooked to the point that she didn't eat it. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things (although I'd expect Pad Thai and Panang curry to be pretty common orders), but we probably won't be back.

stephanie b.

Yelp
Food was So good! Really cute placed tucked away in a strip mall. A little sketchy area, but worth it. Very friendly service. Will definitely be going back

Fred D.

Yelp
Visited a few years ago and the garlic duck made us regulars. We love this place. The food is fantastic. Haven't had the duck in a while, got it again and was better than I remembered. Everything is really good. Garlic duck is phenomenal.

Maylynn M.

Yelp
The best Thai restaurant I've been to in Vancouver. Their crispy basil chicken was so good!! Well seasoned and yummy. Definitely would recommend this place if you're looking Thai food.
