A lunch-hour favorite on Library Mall and a recurring Taste of Madison vendor, this cart turns out well-loved pad thai, panang, and green curry. Event calendars and local listings keep tabs on appearances, and pop-ups at breweries add to its community footprint.

Rafael is so kind! I asked for my pad thai extra spicy and he delivered. Will definitely come back, it was fast, tasty and had awesome flavor. The best thai food truck on East Campus Mall!

The Pad Thai is the BEST ive ever had. I found your food truck at Jadas Garden today in Barneveld. I feel like so often Pad Thai is all noodles, but not here. Very generous with the chicken, green onion, sprouts and peanuts. I already want more! Thank you!

I ordered the pad Thai not as spicy 🥵...and the guy asked for a review I told him it would be an honest review since I get a lot of views, anyway I told him what I was hoping this would be. About 10-15,yrs ago noodles and Co. Had this Thai dish that had peanut butter in it and it was so yummy!!! However ppl with peanut allergy and no more of this AMAZING THAI DISH?! 😂 well the Pad Thai is NOT ALL THAT!!!!! it's like a dinner I would fix up myself with my store bought noodles, it does not have taste to it. I am so upset that I'm about to go back and ask for the OTHER DISH he told me about because the Pangang was GONE!!!! SOOOO MAD AT MYSELF FOR PAYING WHAT I PAID FOR THIS DISH!!! Update 3/7/25: I spoke with the owner he was very easy to speak with and accommodated having another meal, he offered to refund my money but I really like these guys so I wanted to leave a good review. I had the Pangang. Now this is what Thailand in a truck should taste like it's curry and I had it when it was particularly spicy but oh my taste buds were in heaven, definitely worth the pain of eating it! They have a sweet potato Thai bowl I am going to try next the guy said it's not as spicy as the Pangang...I wanted Thai food and that's what I got---def worth everything! Keep up the good work guys!

We were excited to try this food truck at a local weekly event, but had a very disappointing experience with the food. We ordered the peanut curry with tofu, sweet potato curry with chicken, and vegetable spring rolls. Curries were $12 each and 3 spring rolls were $5. The curries were clearly watered down and bland, vegetables were overcooked yet tasted like freezer, and the portion was almost entirely rice (5? carrot slices, 2 broccoli pieces, 5 pieces of tofu). We couldn’t identify what was supposed to be the chicken— maybe found 2-3 very chewy and unappetizing pieces. The spring rolls were extremely tiny and again, tasted so bland we commented “this tastes like nothing”. Hopefully an off night, but not inclined to return :(

I’ve tried this food truck twice at different events, and both times they overcharged and acted like it was a mistake. Menu said $12 for peanut curry with tofu (protein included), but I was charged $15 for only three tiny pieces of tofu and stale rice/curry. The portion was small, bland, and inedible; part of the rice was even stale and rotten. Ordered Thai iced tea, which was supposed to have coconut cream, but it was just overly sweet black tea with ice. When my friend pointed it out, they admitted they were out of cream but didn’t tell customers beforehand. I saw them still selling it to others without mentioning it then acting innocent. (Fireman park event) Mango sago was also a letdown; a tiny 4oz cup with just three small mango pieces, nothing authentic about it(wetmore park event) Overall, overpriced, poor quality, and dishonest service. Customers deserve to get what they pay for. I don’t get how their business is running still; seems like people eat pretty much anything these days.

We have eaten multiple times from Thailand in a Truck and we have never been disappointed! The Pad Thai is so full of flavor, whether you get it spicy or mild. Highly recommend Thailand in a Truck!

Yelp
They catered for a party for us. Super easy to work with - very responsive. Entire menu was gluten free and we were also able to accommodate vegetarians and a person with shellfish allergy as well as super picky kids. Everything was delish but the spicy pad Thai was a favorite. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This truck is in Library Mall. I took out lunch from here one day. Spicy green curry was my item. It had good flavors.

Yelp
I ordered sweet potato curry with tofu from them last night at Concerts on the Square because it was labeled on their menu board as gluten-free.. I have celiac disease, so usually bring my own food for safety, but since the event was postponed from Wed to Thurs due to rain, I didn't have the time to prepare something ahead due to my busy Thurs schedule. Even though the item was marked as gluten-free, I asked when ordering to confirm & mentioned I have celiacs, since I can get very sick/internal damage if I'm exposed to gluten. The gal taking my order said yes, it's gluten-free. As I waited for my food, the woman preparing called out my name. She said that the tofu is fried with the spring rolls and asked if I still wanted it. This is a cross contamination issue for people with celiac disease, as even a tiny spec can make us very ill. So I thanked her for asking, said no, and asked if she could switch it to chicken. After getting my food, I walked to my spot on the other side of the square. My friend had arrived, so after chatting with her for about 10 minutes, I opened my meal to eat, and find tofu in it. This was frustrating, because she handed it to me just 3 minutes after asking me if I wanted tofu and me confirming that I did not and wanted chicken instead. So I walked back to the stand, explained the issue, and she apologized and said she'd make a new one. A few minutes later, she handed me the food. I walked back across the square to my spot, open the lid, and checked it for tofu; there was none, but there was also no chicken. No protein at all. I'd rather have no protein than tofu/ risk getting sick, but $12 for a few veggies, rice, and some sauce is ridiculous. And it honestly wasn't even that flavorful. I gave 2 stars because I appreciate the attention to detail in terms of asking me about the tofu since it's fried with other things, but then why did I get something with tofu 3 minutes later? And then when I brought it back and asked for one with chicken, why was there was no chicken? I would've understood if they ran out, but they should've told me and offered a refund. They also need to mark their board that the tofu is not gluten-free if it's fried with other gluten items, as this is deceptive to those of us with dietary restrictions. After this experience, I will not be ordering from this food truck again.

Yelp
We shared the Hung Lay Pork Belly Curry. The pork was fork tender, the carrots soaked up the flavor, the rice soaked up the sauce. Flavorful and warmed us up on a chilly day. We got spice level 2, but level 1 probably would have been enough. If you like Indian food and are iffy about Thai, this would be a perfect starter for you, as there is somewhat of a flavor profile overlap. Friendly service. The fried spring rolls were phenomenal (my 12yo son's first...he's hooked!). Photos provided by the vendor, but representative of our experience.
