Windom Kimsey at Public Works Shares His Favorite Henderson Restaurants - Eater Vegas

"I like to eat at Thailicious for dinner. It’s delicious and healthy, and while I’m not vegan, it has some great meatless options like the avocado curry with tofu." - Susan Stapleton

Google
This is definitely a must visit if you like Thai food. Very tasty and authentic. This place was recommended by a friend as she frequents the restaurant often and the staff seemed to recognize her. The may have good value lunch specials that come with a choice or soup or salad and you can customize the spice level of your dishes on a scale of 1-10. I did a level 4 spice level and everything was so good.

Found this place at the last minute going through Henderson NV. Got the the place was packed (good sign). Not a bad wait maybe 10 minutes. My coworker had the Steak salad with the spice level at a 5. I had the Pad Woonsen with pork spice level 4. Overall it was super tasty (Pork a little to done for my liking). Would definitely go back.

Google
Thailicious always delivers! In every aspect! I was recommended to this place, I’ve been there 4 times already. The food is delicious, and no complaints about the service. Had it to-go today and food was cooked fast! One of our new favorite places!

Google
They might be victims of their own success. I can guarantee you that the food there is spectacular, both dishes that we had were great. The scallop dish was particularly tasty and the portions were large, but I think they're at the limits of their ability for decent service. A friend of mine said the aesthetic is Las Vegas strip mall.

Google
I came in the early evening on a weekday with my colleague. I got Thai green tea and vegan avocado green curry both of which I’ve never tried. Both were delicious. Service was great and very quick. We weren’t in a hurry but were in and out within an hour. I really enjoyed the place.

Michelle Linder

Google
I was skeptical but very pleased with my whole experience! Yellow curry is my go to dish and theirs is amazing! Our waitress knew the menu, was prompt and kind and even had recommendations for my next visit since I didn't care for the tofu that I ordered with my curry. Pricing & portions are reasonable & filling. Will I go there again? A resounding Yes!

Google
Fast food Thai, excellent for a quick bite. Limited alcohol, but vegan options on big menu. Will come again. Inexpensive and tasty.

LAUGH THINK EAT PRODUCTIONS

Google
The place was packed and it took a while for food to come out, but it was totally worth it. Pad Thia with shrimp is really good. I did little spice and it has just the right kick to sweetness ratio. Next time I will order in advance.

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've posted a review so I thought I should share an update. Ive been coming here for 7 years faithfully. Always able to get seated quickly. Drink order taken right as Im seated and food order taken shortly after. Water is always kept full no matter how busy the restaurant is. I rotate my choices between Tom Yum Kai, Yum Woon Sen, Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, Pork or Duck Pad Kra Pao. My favorite starters are the chicken satay, crispy spring rolls and shrimp summer rolls My desserts i choose from the green tea ice cream or the mango and sticky rice I absolutely love the butterfly pea lemongrass juice its my favorite-make sure you squeeze the lemon in it, it changes the flavor and its delicious Takeout, dine in, either way, I'll be back!!

Yelp
Just came to do a to-go order for lunch... not good at all. Lacks seasoning and the veggies in my cashew nut taste like dirty socks... also found a chunk of some mystery meat and now I think I am done eating. It almost looks like a chunk of fat but I got chicken so I don't know what it is because it's brown and bubbly Wish I could get a refund tbh Update, hours later I have food poisioning - kidney pain, vomitting, and strong stomach cramps.

Yelp
Last minute peak dinner rush on a Friday night and were quickly seated with just a 10 minute wait. We ordered the combination pad thai and the shrimp pad kao. The pad thai had a smokey flavor to it and was a large dish that was easily shared for two! It was saucier than the pad thais I'm used too, but it was still delicious! The shrimp pad kao was tender and paired well with their chili sauce that you can ask for as a condiment. Overall, we had a great time and the price point was within a good range. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
The food here is simply amazing. We were surprised to see the many vegetarian/vegan options. Their dishes are bursting with flavor and all dishes are presented so beautifully. The staff is attentive and efficient, they all helped get our food out around the same time and keeping our drinks filled. The customer service made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The generous portions and reasonable prices is a great value, we will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Yelp
It's been over a year since we visited this restaurant. We were in the area and wanted a late lunch. Walked in about 2pm, not busy and a few other customers were enjoying their food. We were handed a pamphlet type of menu and were ready to order until I noted a lunch menu on the back. Easy, let's do the lunch menu. Items came out as large as the regular orders and only $10.99 each. We did the Penang curry and pad see eew and the 2 of us could not finish. Large order and came with a salad and an egg roll. Worth every penny. We even have to take half of each him for lunch. Best value and a good lunch. Good service and fast too. Restaurant was nice and clean. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Yelp
Absolutely positively the best Thai food I've ever had. My gf synchronistically found them driving by. The rest is history. We have not dined in yet, nevertheless that did not stop us from ordering & picking up 4 times in the last 3 weeks. We continue to pick different items each time because there is not one item on the menu that hasn't been absolutely positively yummalicious! Our favorite that we have added on to each order has been the eggplant starter. Omg so freaking tasty & crispy. I throw them in the air fryer when we get home & it's like eating a crispy chip. Price point is on the higher side, however, it doesn't matter because it's so freaking good! All in all, we will continue to order & hopefully, soon, dine in & get the full experience. Thanks Team Thailicious.

Yelp
So glad I saw this place exiting the freeway! I was able to walk in and order food for takeout. The hostess was extremely informative and there are paper menus you can look at. I ordered the crispy spring rolls and chicken fried rice with level 5 spice. The spring rolls were delicious and filling. The spice level 5 is a good kick of spice while still being able to taste the flavors of the food. The portion sizes are generous! I have left overs for 2 meals. The inside has a good amount of seating and cute art decorations. I look forward to trying other things on their menu.

Yelp
Some of the best Thai I have had in Vegas or anywhere. Reminds us of food we had with family in Thailand. The staff attentive and personable. Looking forward to coming back. I loved my vegan beef yellow curry. Huge chunks of vegetables and well spiced. The ambiance was better than what the typical strip mall would suggest.

Yelp
Thailicious is very delicious :) They've been my go-to Thai food takeout place since moving to Vegas 5 years ago. I love their convenient online ordering system, which texts you to confirm your order and also when your order is ready. The curries are so good. Only issue I had was getting uncooked rice a couple of times. Other than that, they're always on point when it comes to flavour, portions and value. The owner is a really nice guy and the interior of the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommend them.

Yelp
Felt pretty authentic when their spicy levels were SPICY! We did went half way with spicy level but it was still pretty spicy, runny nose and teary eye spicy. Staff is friendly and attentive. Crispy Duck Panang- crispy and still juicy. Fried outside added flavor to the dish. Drunken Seafood Spaghetti- they didn't skimp on seafood. Lots of scallop and calamari along with dungeness crab. Spaghetti wasn't over done. Catfish Pad Ped- one of my favorites, over rice was so good. Fish was juicy and flaky, not over done. Garlic and pepper really added so much fragrance to the dish.

Yelp
Always a great place. We come often. Food is always delicious. Nice staff. Very attentive.

Yelp
Food (4/5): we ordered the pad see ew and Khao soi, which is more of a niche dish, so I'm glad I had the opportunity to try it. The pad see ew was delicious. The noodles weren't too mushy and it had a subtle sweetness to it, not too oily. I do wish it had just a bit more seasoning however. With the Khao soi, it was interesting having the wonton chips with the soup, which itself was a sweet curry base. However, I wasn't a fan of the noodles, which tasted a bit too "wheaty" for my personal taste, maybe because the restaurant has numerous vegan options. Service (4/5): I went on a Saturday evening, and the place was absolutely packed. Unfortunately, it took over 20 minutes from when we ordered to when our food actually arrived, and since we were pressed for time, I wish I knew it would've taken this long for two dishes. Ambiance (5/5): the restaurant is very spacious with a decent amount of seating. There isn't too much artwork, but the lighting adds to a comfortable dining experience. Overall (4/5): definitely a spot work checking out, especially if you're looking for vegan Thai food in Henderson! Just make sure it's not too busy before being seated.

Yelp
Delicious authentic Thai food and wonderful service! The food is always fresh and delicious here. My two favorite starters are the Soy Thai beef jerky, and the crab delight. For mains, I enjoy the green Papaya salad, the crab meat fried rice, garlic black pepper shrimp, Mongolian beef, and the Red curry. They also have a vegan menu as well with many vegan options to choose from. Ambiance is nice. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Food is decent and the service is fast. I like my dish, chicken panang curry. It already has spice, so no need to add unless you really want it spicy. I usually get medium and this was fine. The only drawback is that it's really loud. I don't know why, but this place is busy, so maybe that played a factor? The phone order window/door was constantly opening and closing.

Yelp
We attempted to go try Crab n Spice on father day. It was busy and 4 big groups in front of ours. My sister found Thailicious in the same parking lot. They could accommodate a party of 13 with no wait. Small restaurant, excellent service and great food! We found a gem. My favorite was the chicken wings and sticky rice. I could just eat that all day. We did order crab fried rice and it was gone before I could try it. So I'm guessing it was good cuz it was gone! There was a catfish dish with a sweet n sour sauce. My bro in law ordered papaya salad and I didn't try it either cuz I was so addicted to the chicken wings and sticky rice. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Thank you Thailicious!

Yelp
This is my first time here with my husband. The service is professional and dining area is clean and welcoming. We were seated right away and given water and menu. I wish that I had order the pad Thai noodle to be spicy but I got it mild due to being pregnant and it tastes more sour which is not to my liking. However, all the other food like the fried rice and summer rolls was delicious. We will definitely come back next time and try their other foods. I like the to go containers were very economical and will be safe to microwave. Highly recommend my friends to try it out.

Yelp
Where can I start? The food was DELICIOUS, thoughtfully prepared and absolutely on point as far as flavors and texture. We ordered three different dishes, the Pad Se Ew, green curry and Drunken Noodles with beef. My husband and I along with our 12 year old son thought perhaps we may have ordered too much food. Not a chance. The food was SO amazingly good that we ate every single bite!!!! And we ordered the mango sticky rice to top things off. Moreover, the service was exceptional. They don't drop off the food and then forget about you. They check in on you, refill your water and inquire about how you like the food and if you need anything. And it was a busy night with lots of patrons. Such an attentive staff. I would be a regular here if I didn't live all the way in CA!! TOP marks for food AND service!!!

Yelp
We've been going to Thailicious for years. It's been our favorite Thai restaurant until tonight. We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and Beef and Broccoli. These dishes used to have beautiful colors and amazing flavor. This time the meat in both dishes looked and tasted like they had been boiled in water and were sitting in a flavorless, watery broth. The Kung Pao had 70% onion chunks and very little (strips of) chicken, nuts, and NO heat or hot peppers at ALL. And the Beef & Broccoli was equally as bad with the beef looking and tasting like it had also been boiled in water sitting in a no flavor, watery broth, and mostly broccoli with VERY little meat. What a tremendous waste of money!!!! We will NEVER go back.

Yelp
Overall, I found the food at Thailicious to be very flavorful and tasty. However, I was a bit disappointed with the spice level. Despite requesting a level 9 out of 10, it felt more like a level 0 or 1 in terms of spiciness. As a lover of spicy food, this was a letdown for me, and it impacted my overall rating of the restaurant. I would rate Thailicious no higher than a 3 due to this issue. On the positive side, Thailicious is a small restaurant with a great ambiance. The customer service is decent, with quick service to get your food. Additionally, the prices are reasonable, making it a good choice for a budget-friendly meal. Overall, Thailicious is a nice place with good food, but if you are looking for a spicy kick, you may want to clarify your spice preferences to ensure they are met.

Yelp
We had an amazing dining experience at this place! We tried the crispy duck curry with level 4 spiciness, and it was absolutely delicious. It had the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, reminiscent of popcorn chicken but with duck instead. The Khao Soi Noodle was also a hit, packed with flavor. I especially enjoyed the addition of sour veggies, and the crunchiness of the wonton chips added a nice texture. They used egg noodles, which stayed perfectly firm and weren't soggy at all. The restaurant was buzzing with activity around 1:30, with plenty of filled tables creating a lively atmosphere. Service was quick and the staff were attentive. We'd definitely come back here again for another tasty meal!

Yelp
Oh, the food was great!!! Service was cool, but they have good food and the place was clean

Melissa A.

Yelp
The restaurant was fairly busy but we were seated quickly and were helped quickly. The servers were on top of things keeping water filled which I appreciate and were friendly. After recently moving from the Seattle area my husband and I are on the search for good Thai food (Seattle had us spoiled). The food looked great! We ordered spring rolls, Panang Curry with chicken, and Pad Thai with chicken. The spring rolls were tasty and didn't need the sauce. The Panang Curry had a good spice level for what we ordered, but it didn't have the complexity I am used to (and no Kiefer lime leaves). The Pad Thai was sooooo sweet, I've never had Pad Thai that sweet anywhere, it was overpowering. We doused it with the Panang Curry and that helped a bit (for both dishes).
google avatar

Maile J.

Yelp
I ordered the pad Thai and pad see ew to go. It was spicy level 2 and both had no taste and my pad Thai noodles were really under cooked. Was hard and really dry! Barely any sauce on both dishes! Was hoping it would be good cause it was near another food establishment we patronize. Should've known it wasn't gonna be "authentic" when not a single Asian person was in there eating.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here and it wasn't as busy, the services was good. Ordered Tom yum , yellow curry and I think pad Thai all was good. Just the perfect amount of seasoning. It's a chill ambiance will be back.

Yelp
I've had Thailicious on my list to try for over a year and finally made it there this past weekend. It is located in a complex of businesses off of the 215, so there is ample parking. We arrived around 7 on a Saturday night, so there was a few minute wait, but nothing crazy. The dining area is relatively small but that lends to a cozy atmosphere. The servers were very attentive and my water has never been filled so many times. We started with fried wontons, which my fiancé thought were okay, but nothing special. Our entrees on the other hand were delicious. He had the pad see ew with chicken, while I opted for the ginger sauce with shrimp. Since this was our first time here, I was conservative with an 8 out of 10 for spice, however I'd definitely bump up to a 9 or 10 next time. The ginger sauce has a thicker consistency to the sauce, which I wasn't sure I'd like but it was really good. The ginger came through and provided a brightness to the dish. They were very liberal with the mushrooms and vegetables, which I loved! Even the shrimp was a generous portion compared to other restaurants. I was debating on the wonton soup, which looked delicious! Next time! Between the food and the service we will definitely be back!

Yelp
I couldn't love a restaurant more. I crave them so often. Take out is so easy but dining in is always nice too. Here's a pic of my fav dish "vegan nam sod salad"
google avatar

Yelp
Very yummy. They close from 3:30-4:30. The food is so pretty and sooooo good! You get to pick what level of spicy you want I got 6 and it was perfect. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommended

Yelp
There's NOT a single item on this menu I don't like. Tons of Thai food restaurants claim they're "authentic," but this place literally puts the Thai love into every dish it sends out of the kitchen. Plai ly put, I LOVE this place. Great food, good prices, good portions, and they DON'T skimp on the meat! This place offers delivery to the local area (5 mile radius?), but you can always order for pick up. Which, I'm gonna have to do because I live too far away from this magical place. The menu is quite extensive, so no matter your desires (vegan? Not vegan?) There's something on the menu for you, and ALL of it is fantastic. Seating is plentiful, so small or large groups are accommodated. Ambiance is casual, and no reservations are required for eating here.
google avatar

Harsh P.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants we've ever been to! We ordered the veggie spring rolls and the soy chicken satay for appetizers. The spring rolls were crispy and delicious, and the soy chicken satay had amazing texture and taste (beautiful peanut sauce on the side and well presented). For dinner we ordered panang curry, pad kra pao tofu, and pad se-ew tofu. That was the best curry and the noodles and tofu were exceptional. We also had Thai teas and they were flavorful and sweet (but not too sweet). Their service was amazing and food came a lot faster than expected. Ambiance was perfect for the setting. Overall, I highly recommend to anyone.

Yelp
Our go-to places when visiting family in Henderson. Place is always busy but we have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seated. Staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, great portion size and just overall super tasty. Their red curry is one of my favorites. Restaurant always looks clean. Fairly priced (we spent $40 on 2 main entrees and one appetizer)
google avatar

Danielle C.

Yelp
Ordered to-go and received the wrong soup. I ordered Tom Kha Kai and got Tom Yum Kai. I also ordered the fresh (not fried) spring rolls. Received 2 for $8 and it was literally ONE shrimp cut in half and full of sprouts. That was it. So disgusting I threw them out. Wont be back. YUCK

Francisco P.

Yelp
This restaurant serves truly wonderful food. Thank you for being consistently delicious.

Yelp
10/10!! Everything we ordered was very delicious, good portions & tasted fresh. Our servers were all friendly & took great care of us. Mango sticky rice was our favorite, must try! We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Don't ever order takeout We are at this place few times with spice level 8, we loved it but today I ordered the take out soup and friend rice today, I asked for same spice level amd when I got the food all I saw was red pepper flakes all over the food and soup. Waste of money and a meal. Never going back again

Yelp
Thailicous is delicious! Oh yes the food is tasty indeed!!! The yellow curry, and the tofu orange chicken is on yummy mode!!! The service is fast for take out no hassle and easy parking. I definitely have to say this place serves the best vegan Thai food I have had so far. Yes indeed Five red and white yelping stars for delicious Thailicious.

Yelp
Their name is definitely accurate. Everything that we've ordered here was delicious! The Thai Beef Jerky flavorful

Yelp
Hungry for Thai food for dinner, but I wanted to try someplace that we haven't tried before. We are regular customers at Poke Express and have seen Thailicious 2 shops to the right, but we never tried until today. The left door is for takeout order pickup, and the right door is for dine in. Walking in, there were a couple of tables open, so we were seated immediately. The restaurant is not very big, but it looks clean and has simple decor. There is a lot of parking right out front. The menu is the paper takeout menu, which is ok for cost efficiency. They have a decent amount of choices, and we ordered the Tofu Green Curry, Pepper Chicken, and an order of sticky rice. The curry was really tasty, a little spicy (ordered medium spicy), but really good. The pepper chicken was good, but I enjoyed the curry more. These 2 items came with white rice, but I ordered a serving of sticky rice because I love sticky rice with curry! The only thing was that the sticky rice didn't arrive until I was halfway done eating. Opening the bamboo container, the sticky rice is purple and is very slightly sweet, just a hint. Overall, I loved it and we will be back. Lastly, they were pretty busy during dinner (about 630pm on a Friday), so we'll probably go a little earlier. Pics attached!
google avatar

Verena H.

Yelp
No lunch specials on weekends but prices similar but no soups, salads or spring rolls either with your main dish! Busy small place and easy access. Shrimp tempura and spring rolls ordered as starters. So I ordered Drunken Noodles with Shrimp!
google avatar

Empe R.

Yelp
It is sooooo good the best Thai place I've ever had, it is very busy tho, but it's definitely worth the hype.
google avatar

Yelp
We ordered to go from here recently and really enjoyed everything! It was easy to order. Clean restaurant when I showed up for pick-up. We tried a few different items and each was great. We started with chicken satay which was cooked perfectly. My husband tried the fried chicken wontons. They weren't what he expected but still enjoyed them. They're a flat chicken in between two wontons. We had fried eggplant and it was so good along with the sauce it included. My daughter tried the veggie massaman curry and it was perfect! We also tried beef pad se eww, very good. Lastly, we had the pad thai and that was great and cooked how we requested special. We will order from here again. Clean, tasty and friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent Prik King Chicken I would go back for sure. Everything I saw on other tables looked excellent too.
google avatar

Josh C.

Yelp
They are always accommodating. With food allergies in my family. They have options so we can eat here. Gluten, soy, soybean oil, and dairy are the allergies. Yet, they are able to make several items without these ingredients. We are so grateful for Thailicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Placed an online order an hour ago. If you like to wait then go to this place. Got there and they just placed the order? Requested a refund.
google avatar

Yelp
Small establishment but authentic delicious food! The atmosphere is amazing fast service always so nice!

Gabriela M.

Yelp
We stopped in for a quick lunch, and it was one of the best places we have gone to! The food was amazing and service was great! We left in awe with how good the food was. It topped our favorite restaurant in Phoenix, AZ.

Yelp
Arrived on a Thursday afternoon, and was quickly seated. Service is fast, and they are nice. I ordered the Pork Pad Se Ew, and while it tasted good, I was slightly disappointed by the reviews that I've read of this place. To me, I found the noodles (thick because pad se ew) to be a little soft and overcooked. It almost felt that they fell apart a little each bite, which was not enjoyable. They also only gave around 4 pieces of broccoli, and I felt that this was a little skimpy portion, and that they could have done better too. The pork was slightly dry, and did not impress. Finally, after eating, I was still hungry. I wouldn't say that I have a huge appetite, but to be still hungry after a full order, I was a little disappointed. Went home to finally get full. Overall, their menu is extensive and has lots of unique and authentic Thai dishes that I probably need to try. Was disappointed by the mediocre flavor of Pad Se Ew, and also the small portion sizes.
google avatar

Robert G.

Yelp
Came here for dinner. Service was prompt as most Thai restaurants are. Ordered bowl of Wonton soup for 2. Came on flames to keep hot which it was. Flavorful soup with white meat chicken, shrimp and dumplings. Ordered fried rice with chicken. It was a bit salty and the chicken did not seem the same as the chicken from the soup. So not as good as other fried rice I have had in town. Ambiance was typical of a local Thai restaurant.

Yelp
I tried Thailicious tonight as some place new. I wanted noodles for dinner but wanted to change it up from the usual places like China A Go Go or Penn's Thai House. Thailicious is a little further away but not bad. The drive wasn't bad but accessing the place from Paseo Verde is a pain in the butt. Be forewarned. Anyhow, I usually go with pad se ewe from Thai places. I like the wide noodles. But the pad woonsen sounded good today with all of the veggies in it. I ordered mine with beef for the protein to go with the veggies. I also ordered fried wontons becauseI was hungry and wanted a snack on the way home. The fried wontons were ok. Not super flavorful but nicely fried. I kind of wish I had saved them til I got home so I could have used the dipping sauce they came with. I enjoyed them without but they could have used it. That is where the flavor was. Garlicy, mildly spicy and a little sweet. The pad woonsen was solid. I ordered a spice level of 3 (out if 10). Most of the spice was in the dried chili seasoning that was dusting the top. The noodles needed mixed to get the going throughout. Everything came together well. Green onion, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, glass noodles and beef. Yum. The beef was the only questionable part of the dish. It was not super tender like most beef you get at Asian restaurants. This is kind of good and bad. Good in the sense that it makes the meal seem more homemade. I mean, I've never gotten my beef to come out melt in your mouth tender. On the other hand, to bite into some meat that puts up a little fight when you expect something more tender is surprising. Overall, Thailicious is not a bad place to go. It seems popular. There were a lot of diners inside and even more to-go orders piling up on the table. I'll have to come back again and try some other noodle dishes like my usual pad se ewe and the classic pad thai. See how those stack up.

Yelp
I LOVE Thai food, in particular I love pad Thai. Out of dozens of Thai restaurants I've been to over the years, Thailicious has the best pad Thai. The service is quite good and friendly. A very convenient location also helps.
