My husband and I came here for lunch and were seated right away without a reservation. Food came out quickly and overall was good. The Pad Thai was one of the best I’ve had—sweet, tangy, and very well balanced. We also ordered the papaya salad and asked for very hot; while it wasn’t as spicy as we usually like, the flavors were excellent with a nice balance of sweet, sour, and fishy. The basil stir fry was just okay. Service was fine, but we were seated near the register and staff were standing around chatting the whole time, which was a bit annoying. Overall, we would give this place a second try.

I really enjoyed Thai Pop and can't wait to try something else on the menu next time. I had higher hopes for the craft drinks, but will probably pass on them in the future. The food was definitely the star of the show here. The Bangkok belly bites were to die for. The Tamarind Pompano was delicious.

This was the best food my son and I had on our short trip to Rochester. I thought the ambience was nice. It's very quick! You barely order and you have whatever you placed which is quite nice. We were checked on the right amount. My cocktail was good, our food was good. I told my husband about the place when we came back home to Saint Paul. At only an hour away, I'm inclined to return one day. My son absolutely loved his dessert. I thought he would be too full to eat but he informed me his dessert hole was empty, and then proceeded to take down Annie's Toast. Everything was very shareable and presented in a very pleasing way.

Packed. On a Wednesday night. We got seats--as long as we were done in a hour. Who were we to fuss? We were happy to be seated! We had reviewed the menu before hand and were ready with our order: the pepper shrimp -- whole shrimp fried crispy and peppered, with a cilantro sauce to dip in that was just outstanding. About six shrimp that disappeared all too quickly. Sauce had lots of kick and was just outstanding. A curry noodle dish with chicken as our protein -- the curry sauce was so good we ordered rice to make sure we could eat it all; more taste and flavor than any other Thai we had had in a long while. The last dish was Brussels sprouts and Noodles. Fresh basil and rice noodles and fried tofu. And decided to order the Monsoon cocktail bc it was botanical and citrusy. Liked the muddled fresh basil. The server was great -- didn't get his name but he was attentive and on the ball despite handling many tables. We'll be back. Returned for a second visit the next day to try the Coconut Brisket, as well as the house curry with chicken. The brisket was excellent. Enjoyed the coconut cake with passion fruit decorated with strawberry slices and sitting in a cloud of airy whipped cream. The coconut milk cocktail was delicious.

Google
Great experience and food. Was solo, came in on a bustling Thursday and got sat at the bar. Immediately got an amazing mock tail (looney tang). As soon as I knew what I wanted I was able to order the pork belly. Came out crazy fast, super tender and delicious. Would have loved to hang out with friends in the cool environment longer. Will do again the next time I'm in Rochester.

Google
Great atmosphere with a nature theme. It has the vibe 😊. The food was delicious, you have to try the Annie’s toast. The bar options are very creative and delicious. The servers were great and very well informed about their menu, I would trust their suggestions.

Google
We stopped here based on a recommendation. SO glad we did! It’s really cute, warm , and an inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the fried green beans and tofu starter which was wonderful. We ordered the brisket curry( bowl dinner - fantastic flavor and very tender brisket) and the fried walleye. Both were so good!!! If we lived in Rochester, we’d be regulars. Our waitress, Jennifer, was friendly, efficient and knew the menu. Such a great time and food . Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon Thai Pop in Rochester, MN for lunch and were pleasantly surprised! When we arrived, the restaurant was about half full, but by the time we left, it was packed—clearly a local favorite. The space is large and beautifully decorated, with a stylish vibe that wraps around the block. The menu is well thought out, offering a great variety without being overwhelming. We started with the Cauliflower Pops and the Bomb Dot Com Wings—both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were bold and balanced, and the cauliflower came with a sauce that was chef’s kiss. For mains, we tried the rice noodles with house curry and the Thai basil chicken stir fry. The Thai basil chicken was spot on—flavorful and perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the house curry missed the mark for us. The flavor just didn’t hit right, and we couldn’t quite figure out what was off. It might be worth reworking that dish a bit. All in all, Thai Pop is a solid choice for lunch or dinner with good food, great vibes, and a menu worth exploring. We’d definitely go back—just probably not for the house curry.

Yelp
We were visiting from out of town and we came here twice during our visit. This is some of the most incredible Thai food that I have ever had. We took recommendations from our waiters both times and everything we had was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back when we are in town to have lunch and dinner again.

Yelp
I was so excited to check out this place as the menu looked incredibly delicious. We came during a very busy time so we had a long wait but it was worth it. I got a mocktail that was coconut and pineapple a very delicious drink. I got the pork belly and rice and it was very delicious! I wish there were more potbelly and also more meat than fat on the pork. I thought the pork was cooked really good and the seasonings on it were on point. I thought it was great balance between meat and vegetables plus a soft boiled egg. The place is very beautiful in the inside fills with plants and art work. You feel as if you were in a curated jungle with art and color. I am excited to visit this place again whenever I'm in Rochester again. I would love to try their desserts next!

Yelp
Thai Pop is so good! My mom and I were at the Mayo Clinic for the week and we were craving Thai food. The food was so good! Pretty authentic stuff like the street salad which is a Thai papaya salad. American flare with grilled corn added on top. We got fish cakes for an appetizer and house curry too. The curry had some kick but it was so good! We got two sides of sticky rice. We took one to go to eat our leftovers with. Trendy vibes and nice staff. Would go back!

Yelp
We are in Rochester multiple times a year and we HAVE to go to Thai Pop every time. It's our favorite place in Rochester. The food is consistently delicious and the drinks are always amazing. The Thai Basil stir fry is my go to. The spice is perfect and the sauce is super tasty. The staff is always friendly and can answer any question you have regarding the food or drinks. I love all plants that give the inside a tropical vibe even in winter.

Yelp
Such cute interior decor and vibes!! Our waitress was so kind and didn't rush us at all when we were sitting chatting after paying. The Thai food was subpar but drinks were good! I've been spoiled by authentic Thai food in the past and unfortunately wasn't too impressed with the food here. I will definitely be back for the fun vibes, and there's a speakeasy downstairs! 3/5 food - ok food, great drinks! 5/5 service 5/5 vibes

Yelp
Was excited about the food because of reviews and was ready to be blown away but honestly it wasn't amazing. The flavors felt very one dimensional and didn't have a lot of depth. I wish it tasted as good as it smelled. Ordered the noodle soup and the Thai basil maybe another dish would have been better. The place was decorated really well though.

Yelp
Busy. With good reason. Still found seats for us. Server was quick, food came very quickly. Amazing speed, actually. Yet paced well. Enjoyed the Crispy Pepper Shrimp and Cilantro sauce. Curry noodles with chicken was so good we ordered rice to finish up the sauce. Brussel sprouts with rice noodles were friend's favorite. I found that sauce too sweet. Monsoon was a solid cocktail. Liked the muddled fresh basil.

Yelp
Absolutely love the ambiance here! As soon as you walk in, it's to your left and greeted nicely by the host. We had a reservation but it wasn't too busy and was able to select a spot we wanted. Our server was warm and welcoming, and informed us of their specials - the drinks were tasty (mine had some spice ) There was a mix up on one of our order but was handled professionally and fast which was much appreciated. The food was delicious as reviewed by many others here. I'm a huge fan of spicy food and loved that they were willing to give a side of their chili peppers to add as you please with my pad see ew! The pork belly and rice was moist and soft to chew. The chicken had two sauces to dip that elevated the flavor and the cucumber salad was a refreshing app to share with our group. Overall we had great portion amounts per order! Would recommend coming here for the food, ambiance and drinks!

Yelp
Thai pop is one of my favorite spots in Rochester, MN. The decor is super cute with all the plants and bamboo rattan chairs also the food is super flavorful and fun. We started with a drink my mom had the chiang mai mai which was delicious. Next ordered the crispy brussel sprouts which were absolutely delicious and good size to share. She always gets the crispy pepper shrimp which comes with a crave worthy spicy green green cilantro sauce. Also ordered the sticky wings. They were good but not as sticky or saucy as I was expecting. I also ordered the coconut brisket it has the kind of layered coconut broth I dream of. So tasty and came with jasmine rice. I asked for a spoon so I could spoon the broth over the rice and eating it with the appetizers created the perfect meal! Only downside was the table seemed to get wet from condensation or something but the server brought us a towel which helped. If you've never been I highly recommend this place!! It gets busy on the weekend so just go online and get a reservation and save room for dessert!

Yelp
I was visiting my friends and they highly recommended checking out Thai Pop. Honestly, this restaurant already attracted me with vibrant decors and pleasing aesthetics. It felt so tropical but distinctively Thai and not Tiki style. Needless to say, I loved the ambiance very much. The menu was a mix of various authentic Thai dishes. Something I noticed over the years, is that if a Thai restaurant doesn't offer Pad Thai on their menu, then they will be super authentic. Same goes for Thai Pop. I tried several dishes and they were all amazing. My favorite would be the tamarind shrimps and the pad prik gang gai. They packed some unique taste compared to other dishes. However the rice noodles with house made curry was also very good. So sad that I don't live in town. If I do I would be frequent at this restaurant. Highly recommend you checking Thai Pop out!

Yelp
My sister-in-law made reservations. Parking is difficult on a weekend evening ... especially with the construction so I'd recommend an Uber/Lyft/taxi. Greeted warmly by our server who was helpful with suggestions when asked. The food was savory and better than anticipated from the menu description. Each of us agreed we'd get our dishes again ... but there's still a lot we'd like to try. When the server recommended dessert, we considered it. Our tummies were full, but the way he described it made it sound amazing. And it was reportedly voted best in town. We ended up ordering it. It did not disappoint. My brother even went so far as to say it's one of the best desserts he had in a long time. He doesn't give those compliments lightly. If I'm in the area, I'd definitely go there again. We were sat towards the front and the tables were a little close together, but they do move to facilitate people being able to get in and out.

Yelp
Absolutely love the vibes in this place--walking in like walking into a cozy, plant-lovers paradise. My drink and food were excellent, service was excellent.

Yelp
10s across the board! This place hands down was one of the best meals I've had. Every single dish provided a fantastic mouthwatering explosion of happiness bite by bite. We started out with some beverages. My friend tried the old fashioned and I tried two mocktails - island breeze and loon tang. I really appreciate the number of mocktails as II haven't been drinking for a while, but sometimes you want more than water. Great mixologists here! I'm not huge on pork belly as I have had some bad versions, but this was the BEST I have ever tasted. It was paired with a spicy sauce which was delicious as well. My friend and I also tried the coconut brisket which was delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the tender meat was soaking in the broth and you scooped that into a bed of rice. Very unique and I highly recommend that one. I'm a huge wing guy and we tried the dry rub wings. Wow! Crispy and again, SO flavorful! We decided to try a dessert as they were known for them. I saw a bunch of awards on the walls. We went with their famous French toast dish that was served with fruit and ice cream and a honey drizzle. Words cannot express how good this was. Can't forget about our server. She was very patient and helpful with the menu and was able to explain the differences of the dishes upon questioning. HIGHLY recommend this place. I'm already missing this place as I live in the twin cities. I'm sure I'll come out again specifically for this place, but hoping they open a place in the cities. This would do well in Nordeast. I for sure would be a regular. There's so much on the menu, you can try a new dish and never be bored.

Yelp
Nice cocktails and cold draught beer. Good menu selections for small bites and dinners. Service was very good and the ambiance pleasant with lots of green plants and accented lighting. We celebrated a birthday tonight and they brought a candle in the dessert and the servers came to sing Happy Birthday

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing. It is a Thai fusion restaurant and the dishes we have had. There have always been absolutely awesome. This is my oldest child's very favorite restaurant in quite a bit of the country as we have traveled extensively throughout the US. You absolutely cannot go wrong, trying their different types of wings And every dish that we've had has been stellar. You do need to be prepared for a little bit of spice, unless you make it very clear that you cannot have spice at at all, and somethings simply aren't available without spice. But for instance, our youngest child eats a Lime chicken rice dish that is I think made generally for the kids menu, but that people that are adult adults can order too. I don't know that's on the menu, but it is there always. If you like Thai food and you're really interested in seeing some very cool Thai fusion do not miss this place!

Yelp
The Rochester area has a tremendous amount of good food. I went to Thai Pop three times during my stay here. Although there were not any dishes that were in the 5/5 category for me, they got close and were very delicious. Thai Pop has such a nice amount of delicious dishes combined with nice service and ambiance that this elevates it to a 5/5 for me. Incredible place! Ambiance is lovely with a beautifully decorated interior. Makes you forget the weather outside. Dishes we tried: - lemongrass chicken: 4+/5. Juicy, keeps well for left overs, generous amount of accompanying sauces. - tofu satay: 3/5 (average) - crispy pork belly: 1/5, was neither crispy nor very flavorful. - Khao soi curry: 4+/5, the mildly spicy flavor just hit right - zaap wings: 4/5, not juicy enough, dry on the inside - Brussel sprouts: 4+/5. The roasted glaze on top of it was divine. A little sweet and a little salty. Personally could have done with less glaze or more crispy edges, as the amount of glaze made the brussel sprouts soggy. Still very delicious though and I ordered this each time

Yelp
The BEST place to catch up with friends over delicious food and drinks! Cute spot in downtown Rochester. Their mocktails are so yummy! We had the Tom Yum Mussels, Pork Belly Bites and the Ribs. The star of the evening would have to be their coconut passion fruit cake!!! Not too sweet and very flavorful. Tastes so fresh too! Its my favorite restaurant in Rochester and I always make time for a meal here when I'm in town!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and service. Loved the drink options and the mocktails. Don't pass on the desserts.

Yelp
Well worth the visit while in Rochester! Reminded me of James Beard award winning Langbaan in Portland, like a sibling restaurant. The fun vibe and decor makes you forget it's below zero degrees outside! Easy to book a table on OpenTable. They start getting busier around 6:00 on the weekdays. Service is friendly and the food came out much quicker than expected. The bar area is nice to sit at. I love the various mocktail options. I had the Mock Thai which had mainly grapefruit juice with a spicy salty sweet rim. I would have tried the crispy pork belly if I wasn't dining by myself. It looked delicious! I had the Tom Yum Soup with tofu added for protein. I asked for no spice (as the first menu descriptor is 'spicy'). It's a HUGE bowl that could easily be shared. The broth was so flavorful and I loved the pop of extra flavor with the tomatoes. Plenty of tofu and mushrooms, topped with fresh cilantro. Annie's Toast was voted the #1 dessert in Rochester for 2025 and it delivered! A huge piece of brioche that is so soft, with condensed milk, whipped cream, ice cream and fruit. The edges had a s'more like char flavor. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Very authentic!!!! The short ribs were amazing! We tried 2 different chicken appetizers and both were delicious!!!!! The entree can be split as it's a lot of food and the appitizers are amazing! (Don't remember the name) they were these fried "ball" shaped, cheese stuffed, crunchy YUMMY-ness !!!!! Service was prompt and so kind.

Yelp
The style and eclectic atmosphere of this place is uniquely charming. On entry, we saw it was rated as one of Rochester's best Asian restaurants, so our expectations were set high. The service is casual but friendly, with servers who are willing to give recommendations and know the food well. Toward the middle of our meal the restaurant hit the dinner rush, so we did feel a little bit rushed at times, but the staff were still respectful and let us finish eating. The food was very good, and possibly best in the Rochester area, but if you are coming from other areas, it is what you might expect from a slightly better-than-average restaurant in terms of food quality. We ordered the three-flavor tofu to start, which was decently spicy and hit a sweet-and-sour note common in American Thai food. The basil chicken my husband ordered was not ground, which means the chicken did not soak up basil flavors as well and lacked some complexity. It was a bit bland, though adequately spicy. My house curry was recommended by our server, and it was quite good. I asked for extra spice and felt they delivered on that without overwhelming the flavor of the food. I definitely needed to saturate my rice in the curry to experience the full flavor, otherwise I noticed that the curry started to separate from the cream a bit. What I thought was especially nice were the extra touches - my hot jasmine tea was served in a beautiful little cast iron teapot that was hefty and made me feel like the tea was a substantial part of the experience (if you're a tea drinker, you'll appreciate that). The other surprising bit that I'll mention as a side note is the baby changing station in the larger bathroom in the women's room; it is a real cloth changing table with straps built into a sturdy wooden base, and not a plastic fold-down station. Very nice, and something I'm sure many moms will appreciate.

Yelp
I absolutely love Thai Pop, it took me quite awhile to start coming, but now whenever I'm in Rochester, this is the place I want to go. The brisket or chicken stir fry is amazing, it has nice heat that keeps you wanting to eat more. By all means please try the Thai old fashioned as well, very well made. I love the ambiance and decor, lots of plants around that gives it a nice Thai vibe. All the servers are very helpful as well and can offer suggestions.
google avatar

Aura G.

Yelp
The ambience inside is super cool. The food was decent but expensive for what it is. I got the coconut brisket and although the curry coconut sauce was delicious, it was literally just slices of meat and onion and nothing else for $17. I would definitely try something else next. Most of the dishes do not come with a protein and have an extra charge for adding it. The mock cocktails were yummy though; I got a mock-gari-thai which was bomb. Overall I think this would be a good place to have drinks with the girls, but to have an actual meal, be prepared to spend at least $25 for one entree.
google avatar

Eileen A.

Yelp
Probably my 15th time ordering Noodles and Brussels ... adding a protein. (Usually pork belly or brisket) it's my favorite thing on the menu. I have tried many things. My only complaint was the brussel sprouts are usually the star of the dish. Along with the amazing cilantro dressing. Crispy outside charred and tender inside. But this lunch was different.. the Brussel sprouts were really big and not tender. And not charred and very tough in texture. But I tried the pepper shrimp appetizer and it was so amazing!!! I will definitely get this again. We also tried something new . The brisket stir fry. Very tasty but I need more texture and veggies in my dish so I wouldn't order it again. But the spice level was pretty perfect!! Always get a thia beer with lunch . So delicious.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our lunch at Thai Pop! We were able to get in for lunch on a Saturday with a group of 6 and really enjoyed the cocktails, wings, and curries. Food came out quick and servers couldn't have been nicer. Understandable that it's the best Thai restaurant in Minnesota.
google avatar

Rita F.

Yelp
Great innovative Thai fusion. Have loved everything I have eaten there. Great curries and stir-fry's
google avatar

Trisha J.

Yelp
I loved everything about Thai Pop from the moment I walked in and saw all of the live plants that decorate the entire dining room. We tried two different cocktails and both were amazing, very Thai inspired which I loved. Our waitress was very helpful, making recommendations for appetizers (cauliflower pops which were amazing) and also my meal of Brussels sprout and noodles. I added the crispy pork belly; the dish was amazing. I loved everything about. Our kids had the chicken kids meal which I tasted and it was also amazing. Can't wait to go back and try other items in the menu.
google avatar

Perry B.

Yelp
Very eclectically designed restaurant. We were seated immediately. We ordered the red snapper, rocket wings and cauliflower. The rocket wings were crisp and well seasoned. The cauliflower were tender and flavorful. The snapper is where it fell flat. It was dry and overcooked. Could not even get it apart with a soon/knife combo as usual for an appropriately cooked fish. Overall we regretted ordering it as it left a bad taste in our mouth so much so that we opted to go elsewhere for our main dish. Possibly we should've tried the Tom Yum Soup or the Coconut Brisket as those appeared to be popular dishes. This place would've been five stars if it wasn't for the snapper.

Yelp
Was in Rochester for a few days and checked out Thai Pop for lunch. Loved the ambiance and vibe of this restaurant . Located in downtown Rochester close to the Mayo Clinic this restaurant provides a nice visual retreat. Like the menu selection and was happy to see gluten free options. We had the Cauliflower Yum Pops, Garlic Pepper Shrimp, Tom Yum Noodle Soup, Thai Basil Stir Fry, and fried beans and Tofu. The food tasted good and arrived quickly. I would definitely visit again and try other things on their menu. One comment on the service, it can be better.
google avatar

Karl K.

Yelp
The Thai food is decent. A little overpriced. Restaurant is pretty clean. The high tables are not the comfortable and small.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this place. I have to stop by every time I'm in Rochester. For sure in my top 5 favorite restaurants of all time. My favorite things on the menu are... 1. Coconut brisket- amazing flavor, tender brisket, & warm creamy coconut broth. perfect over a bed of rice! 2. Rocket wings- the BEST dry rub wings i've ever had. Crispy, but not overcooked & it comes with a lovely, tangy dipping sauce if that's your thing! 3. TALAY DRIFT!!!!!! Everyone needs to try this. I don't think I've ever had a better cocktail. It's rum-based, refreshing, & has delicious tropical flavors. I wish I had the recipe so I could have a talay drift whenever I want. Tbh, it's a good thing I don't live in Rochester otherwise this place would make me broke. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Service and ambiance is always 10/10 as well.

Amy J.

Yelp
I'm from Southern California and this place is by far the best Thai place I've been to. I had to read all the negative reviews to see what went wrong for someone to think this isn't a 5 star place. Service was great. I sat at the bar both times and all the bartenders were fantastic - personable and likable - great hires. Food - Flavors were amazing. I will say that everything I had seemed to run a bit heavy on the Vietnamese fish sauce. So if people aren't a fan of that, then ‍. This is also a Thai spot. Which means you're getting spices and flavors. Anyone who expects/wants a more subtle taste should either not come here or not comment on it being too spice forward. I'd say the only thing I wasn't super impressed with was the jasmine rice. But I didn't come here for white rice . Ambiance is hip, fresh, and new. Love this spot! Def coming back!

Yelp
Delicious Thai food in Rochester! We were greeted and seated quickly, and the service throughout our meal was fantastic. They have a lot of great cocktails that are very unique. The menu consists of pad Thai as well as a number of grilled items including steak and fish. There are plenty of menu items to choose from including vegetarian dishes. We really enjoyed our meal and will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
We were staying a block away at the Hilton Garden Inn and wanted somewhere close for dinner, and boy was this a great choice. We didn't have a reservation so we sat at the bar, and the bartender was great, as was the decor and atmosphere. I had the Thai Basil with Jasmine Rice and it was so delicious. Not spicy at all. My wife had the Coconut Curry with chicken and rice noodles. It's served cold and she loved it. I had a MN whiskey, Keeper's Heart, which is a blend of bourbon and Irish whiskey. You get the flavor of an Irish whiskey with a sweet depth from the bourbon.

Yelp
This place just transforms you to an out of country experience without needing your passport. The ambience is so cool with beautiful wallpaper and plants everywhere...love the greenery. I had lunch with my boss who was in town for the week and it was absolutely delish. I had the Tom Kha soup with tofu along with Thai coffee which I can't resist. The flavors of the soup were out of this WORLD! Our waitress Sheila was great and helpful and our food came out very quickly. As a side note, it seems like a popular spot for lunch so I recommend making a reservation just in case...which I did. It's easy to do on their site. Enjoy! PS Great GLUTEN FREE menu! Love the notations on the menu. Thank you!!!!

Yelp
ThaiPop is my go-to when visitors are in town because it boasts a delicious menu and fun atmosphere. Some favorites are the three-flavor whole fish, crying tiger, and brussels sprouts noodles. Annie's toast is maybe the best dessert in town!
google avatar

Linda V.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant near Mayo Clinic. There's ample parking in the area. Friendly service. They offer dishes you don't always see on other Thai menus, some feel a bit more fusion than common but good overall. I think the only thing I was a bit bummed about was the crying tiger beef didn't come with the side of pepper dipping sauce that typically accompanies it.
google avatar

Sarah R.

Yelp
Man this place is great!!!!! And I love my Thai food. Upscale Thai with healthy options. It's for sure worth the price. Serving sizes are big and could easily split dishes. Tom kha and curry rice noodle are what I've had so far and I'll be coming back a third time.
google avatar

Jessica N.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant! Love all the plants! Our server was so sweet. Super helpful in picking out items on the menu and was very attentive. Would definitely recommend getting a reservation as it gets super busy and is fairly small We got a couple different kinds of curry as well as mocktails and they were phenomenal!

Yelp
Was exploring downtown Rochester while in town for work and stumbled upon this gem. It was a late lunch and I wanted something a little lighter. I asked the bartender what I should order and she gave me a few suggestions. I went with the noodles and Brussels and told her to surprise me with the protein. I was not disappointed when it came out with pork belly. Everything was perfect and delicious. Almost finished the entire bowl. So many flavors, the dish never got boring. Can't wait to come back and try something else. I recommend coming with a few people and ordering a few different things and doing it family style so you can try everything.

Yelp
Best Thai food in Rochester 100%. Will keep coming back until I try everything on the menu. I have been there at least 5 times and each time a 5 star experience. Service is quick and friendly. The restaurant looks absolutely gorgeous inside. You'll be missing out if you order to-go.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants when I am in Rochester. I have ordered several items from the menu, but my go to's are the wings and the pork belly. I would recommend this place. Enjoy folks

Yelp
The food is among the best Thai we've had. Excellent service and cozy atmosphere in downtown Rochester. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Very good and quite authentic Thai food. The service seems to be a hit or miss - my first visit was ok, the second (last month) visit had outstanding service.

Yelp
Drinks were super delicious as for the food let's say it was good. Not great fun place to meet up with friends or even a date.

Yelp
This was a great find. Very creative, delicious Thai food. The servers and staff are warm, friendly, and gave great suggestions for ordering. A special shoutout to Ethan and Sydni who are terrific and so enthusiastic! Upscale in a good way with reasonable prices, especially for the high quality!!

Yelp
This place was super cool! There were plants everywhere and the decor just felt very fun. It reminded me a bit of Hai Hai in Minneapolis. The Yum Yum wings were absolutely delicious! Crispy and flavorful with some delicious little pickles on the side. The Thai tea I got was incredibly sweet, but we loved our alcoholic drinks. We tried the brisket, coconut curry, and it was pretty decent. It didn't blow our socks off. The service was relatively fast and was very friendly.

Yelp
Came here for the 2nd time for date night with the hubs. First- the food & drinks: The food was excellent both times. We started with cocktails & apps. The "son in law" crispy soft boiled eggs were a delightful surprise. Based on the menu description, I probably wouldn't have picked it but absolutely loved it. The crispy fish sauce pork belly was also outstanding. For dinner, we both had curry. Me, rice noodle house curry with beef brisket. Excellent flavor, definitely has a "kick" to it. The brisket was amazingly tender, and I'm definitely not sad about having leftovers! The Negroni Floresscence was awesome- a delicious cocktail, not too sweet, definitely refreshing. Waiter Pierre was friendly and attentive. If there was anything negative to say this time (first time was perfect 5/5), was the hostess. The only reason I' m giving this 4/5 instead of 5/5. Had I not been here before, I really would have been put off. She was abrupt and it was hard to understand her as she spoke while smacking her gum. I get they were busy, as are most restaurants in Rochester on a Saturday night at peak of the dinner hour. She definitely doesn't give a good first impression of the overall joyful vibe of Thai Pop. Hopefully if it was a bad day for her it gets better, or with some mentoring she'll learn that hers is the first face of what will hopefully remain a thriving, unique place in downtown Rochester.

Yelp
Outstanding food! Our waitress was so kind, attentive, and genuinely hard working. We love Thai Pop. Favorite Local spot! Our staples are Noodles and Brussels add shrimp and Coconut Veggies add Shrimp!
