The food was really good! The Amritsari kulchas were delicious and full of flavor. The butter chicken with rice was tasty too. Great food and nice experience!

The restaurant is brand new, but already delivers the same quality and authenticity as their first location, Kulcha King in Parc-Extension. We tried a great variety of dishes including the samosas, mango lassi, Non-Veg Thali (with butter chicken, dal tarka, raita, rice, and gulab jamun), chicken curry, lamb biryani, butter chicken poutine (a must-try!), and rasmalai for dessert. The butter chicken and lamb biryani were great, and the naan was huge and super crispy. My son especially loved the butter chicken and mango lassi. The Butter Chicken Poutine is also a must try! The staff were welcoming and the food very affordable. This place is perfect for anyone who loves classic Indian flavors with great value.

Ordered takeout from this restaurant and had a really great experience! The food was packed neatly, still hot, and tasted just as fresh as a dine-in meal. I really appreciate how carefully everything was sealed to avoid spills. The flavours were amazing, portions were generous, and every item tasted exactly the way it should. Pickup was smooth and the staff was friendly and efficient. Even though it was busy, my order was ready on time. Overall, one of the best takeout experiences I’ve had — delicious, well-packed, and super convenient. Highly recommended!

The food was great! We tried the butter chicken bowl and the lamb briyani. The butter chicken sauce was delicious and it had a kick of spice 👌 the lamb in the briyani was very good. Would definitely come back :)

Dinner was a flavorful journey. The butter chicken, tender pieces simmered in a creamy tomato sauce, felt like pure comfort. The palak paneer, spinach with soft cheese cubes, brought a rich earthy depth. Fresh naan, warm and fluffy, was perfect for scooping up sauces, while the basmati rice, light and fragrant, balanced the spice. The raita, a cool yogurt mix, refreshed the palate. Ending with gulab jamun, soft dough balls soaked in rose-scented syrup, was pure indulgence.

Pick up order, Food was excellent. Taste different from what I normally get as Indian food, but onestly it taste Indian food and very good. Biryani chicken was made with tandoori chicken, Wow! Next time I will order one of their Tandoori. Not all Indian restaurant offers Lamb dhansak. Once again, very well done. So as the mix vegetable, generous and tasty. Very generous as well. Friendly owner. I will go back

The food, the service as well as the atmosphere was so perfect, I ordered chole bhature and the tandoori aalo parantha, i am non vegetarian and the food is which i ordered is vegetarian and it completely satisfy my taste and appetite, if you cannot tolerate spicy this is best meal to go for, wont be spicy. Just blindly go for tandoori aalu paratha and chana bhature. 👍👍👍 We were three persons and it costs us under 50bucks only.

I came to Thali King for lunch with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while—and it turned out to be the perfect spot for a cozy, flavorful catch-up over Indian comfort food. We ordered a little bit of everything to share, and honestly? Nothing disappointed: – Lamb Curry ($14.99): My top pick! Just the right amount of spice—rich, warm, and full of depth without being overpowering. – Garlic Naan: Soft, buttery, and perfect for scooping up every last bite of curry. – Shahi Paneer ($13.99): Creamy, slightly sweet, and super comforting. A must-try for vegetarians. – Butter Chicken Bowl: A classic done right—rich, saucy, and balanced. – Chicken Wrap ($8.99): Not my personal favorite—it was served in a tortilla, and I think wrapping it in naan could’ve elevated it. Still a convenient, quick bite if you’re on the go. – Mango Lassi ($4.99): Tangy, sweet, and refreshing—the ideal drink to cool things down. – Gulab Jamun ($4.99): Syrupy, soft, and satisfying. The perfect end to the meal. The service was quick and kind, the space is cozy and nicely decorated, and the prices are super reasonable for how much food you get. Whether you’re popping in solo or grabbing lunch with a friend, it’s the kind of place that feels easy to return to. ✨ I spotlight my favorite local gems on TikTok @foxy.appetite and IG @foxyappetite—and Thali King is officially on my list. This meal was comped as part of a media tasting—sharing my honest thoughts above.
