An 1858 jewel where locals still pack the house for plays, dance, concerts, and classic-cinema series. Recognized by national outlets for its architecture and programming, it remains a living stage for Wilmington’s creative community.
This is the oldest theater in Wilmington built in the 1800s. They have weekly shows which are very affordable and lots that are family friendly. Its located in downtown Wilmington so theres plenty of parking and places to eat before or after a show. Prices for a family of 3 was around $40/pp and they have snacks and wine, beer, sodas for sale. You feel like you're stepping back in time in this beautiful theater.

A grand old theatre! I recently sat rear orchestra under the mezzanine overhang which, in other theaters, is the worst place for sound. Not here, and I don't have the best hearing. The seats were also comfortable for someone like me who has a bad back, aggravated by sitting long periods of time.

We had so much fun watching the dog comedy and talent show! I was called onstage to help juggle and it was fun! I couldn't see the small hacky sack due to the stage lighting but did great juggling the full size bean bag!

Wonderful little old theater! I can not recommend this theater enough. I saw Mary Poppins and the production and acting were fantastic.

Absolutely amazing venue to see shows!! The architecture is gorgeous. The seats are comfy and roomy. Everyone who works and volunteers there are super friendly and helpful. We went for the first time to a concert cinema of short films by George Mèliés. It was fantastic. I can't wait to go to as many shows and plays as possible now! They also have the original hand painted show curtain, oldest known in the country, on display in the lobby. Super cool!

Went to a showing of The Boy in the Woods as part of the Jewish Film Festival.
Good seats...so much more leg room now compared to years ago.
Concessions not overly priced which was nice. Coke and popcorn 8$.
Looking forward to seeing what they do with the renovation of the old city council meeting area. I'm sure it will be spectacular.

Always a pleasure to enjoy all the artists performance. From The Little Mermaid, The Beauty and the Beast to the Nutcracker at Christmas time. The Thailand Hall Center has become a family tradition.

Beautiful theater. I had the pleasure of an attending a film festival. They have the usual concessions of yummy popcorn, sodas and candy. As well as some alcoholic bevvies.
