Our family accidentally found Thang Long Cuisine yesterday and decided to give it a try, and we were so pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and served piping hot. Each dish had a unique Northern Vietnamese flavor that truly stood out from other pho restaurants around this area. Because of that, I can imagine opinions may vary depending on personal taste, but for me and my kids, we absolutely loved it! We especially loved the Chả Cá Thăng Long, Phở Bò Tái Lăn, Nem Cua Bể, and the Bún Chả Hanoi which all flavorful and beautifully prepared. The cozy, dining space and the friendly young lady running the restaurant made the experience even more enjoyable. Parking can be a bit tricky, but they do offer convenient online ordering. Overall, we’ll definitely be coming back for more!

We ordered fried rice, chicken curry, shrimp dumplings, and shrimp + beef dumplings. The shrimp dumplings are savory, though I recommend eating them quickly or else the rice skin will lose its soft texture. We did not grab any of the available sauces while we were there, but the flavor was excellent regardless. The shrimp + beef dumplings have liquid in them, so eat them in one bite as they will burst and leak liquid. They’re not too big, so eating them in one bite is not difficult. The chicken curry has just a slight spice to it, and has a very nice blend of flavors. The main ingredients I can identify are carrots, chicken, basil, and star anise (don’t shovel everything into your mouth or you’ll chew on the stars). Overall the flavor is very good, and the restaurant owner and cashier were patient and kind. The restaurant was kept clean and the ambient music was a good volume. Highly recommend to try this place out.

Today I ate Bun Cha at Thang Long cuisine. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant, and I must say — it exceeded all my expectations! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff who made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in.The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I especially loved the Bun Cha — it was cooked to perfection.😋😋😋😋😋

The food was very good!! I had the bun cha Hanoi, and it was bright, satiating, and delicious. The nem Hanoi was also really good - savory and crispy. The salad rolls are robust and delicious. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful.

I ordered to go. overall, I am quite happy/impress. The Wonton Noodle soup Hanoi Style was great. I love the noodles and broth. the quail egg was a great burst of flavor. (great after a late night out) The crispy wontons was actually crispy and good! I love how crispy it was that gives it texture to the meat portion Sweet chili shrimp pork. Chili sauce on point. spicy but so delicious. had to use the sauce on the xui mai. Shrimp Xui Mai. above average, probably better than some "dim sum" restaurants but I wish there was more shrimp to it. Still good, and would order everytime I come here. Hum bao, the only one I didn't enjoy. the dough was good and so was the meat. I think I am used to another style hence why I am not impress overall, I would come back to this place. I would want to dine in for the Bun Cha. (take out doesn't do the bun cha, wonton noodle soup or beef stew justice) overall, I would come back. and this place opens early incase you have a late night!

This place was awful. The Pho was OKAY. But the waitress made the whole experience absolutely miserable. How hard is it to order a Thai tea? Well here it's almost impossible, even though I pointed to the menu exactly what I wanted. She gave me the wrong item and still insisted on charging me for it, even though it wasnt touched and I communicated clearly multiple times that was not what I asked for and I wanted it sent back for the correct item. I will not be back here, it was like pulling teeth just to order. It took over 30 minutes to find the waitress just to cash out. Terrible experience

I woke up late today and was in a rush to get to work. I realized I had forgotten to bring my lunch. Because I was in such a hurry, I stopped by a restaurant on the way to grab a togo lunch box. It was wonderful — even though it was cold outside, the restaurant felt warm and cozy, with a very friendly waitress. Within a few minutes, I had a togo box of stir-fried beef with rice and rushed off to work. I will definitely return to support the restaurant again.

Parking here is a minimal and a bit inconvenient, but this is not unusual for a Portland neighborhood restaurant. The Pho broth was pretty basic on its own, but they provide condiments to tailor it to your taste. There was only one other table of customers so it seemed awfully long before I received my Pho. We also ordered the Pork egg roll which was different (square shaped) but tasted fine. The weird part was that appetizer came out last - a good 4-5 minutes after we had started on the main dish. The service score dropped when I went to pay. The gal at the counter never said a word and didn't even look up at me. She was staring at the screen for like a full minute in total silence ( I figured she was totaling the bill - all 3 items, but this was getting a bit creepy for me). Overall, the food was pretty good but not good enough for me to return. The slowness of the service was disappointing considering the few customers, and weird silent exchange in the end made me feel rather unwelcome.
