Prior to meeting up with some Yelp groupies, Jeff V. suggested this coffee shop. If you're friends with him, you know he hits up alllllll the coffee shops and posts the cutest and prettiest drinks, just like Leonard A.!
The parking situation here isn't that great, but you can try to find street parking or do what we did and park in the lot on the side of the building, which is for the tenants who live upstairs. I asked a guy who was taking his dog out of his car (he appeared to be a resident there) if I could park there, and he said I'd be fine. I found a spot near the leasing office. Just be sure you don't park in a spot that's marked or says, "Future Resident Parking."
The storefront is located on a busy street, and once you step inside, it's a cute little shop where you can study or catch up with friends. We were lucky to arrive around 10:15 am on a Saturday morning, because people started coming in after us. It was swarming with customers by around 10:30. They don't really have regular tables, but they do have limited seating along the back wall, which are bar height. We ended up there after placing our order.
We got the Kyoto Latte, Pandan Blue Milk, TYC Avocado Toast, Kaya Jam Toast and the Yuzu Ricotta Toast. We didn't have any gripes, but the only thing we agreed on is that the toast was a tad too thick for our liking. I ate most of mine but ended up slicing it through the middle toward the end. I liked that both my drink and the toast were not overly sweet. They were flavorful but not overpowering.
The menu is very simple, and they also sell merchandise like hoodies, tote bags, hats, pens, stickers, etc. The restrooms are located outside the shop. You have to walk behind the counter down the hall, out the door, and to the right. I think they have reasonable prices and portions. I'm a fan and would return!
