THB Bagelry & Deli of Charles Village

For a quick, late breakfast this place was okay! Service was relatively quick despite there being a line. We got a few kinds of savory bagels with spreads and a BLTA sandwich. All were fresh, served perfectly toasted/hot, and had a good ratio of toppings to bread. I'm no bagel pro or savant, so these were just another sandwich to me. The biggest advantage they have is lots of seating with a lower and upper level PLUS outdoor seating when the seasons permit. The restaurant itself felt clean, but the poor staff is stuck dealing with too many customers that won't bus their own tables (despite there being ample trash cans and dish returns throughout the dining areas). Perhaps more signage or stronger reminders to customers could help? But I don't blame staff for not wanting the extra labor. For convenience, this place works. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Wish the patrons were a little more thoughtful. It's a good alternative when I want a walk and something different from my neighborhood bagel spot in Mount Vernon (Belvedere Bagels).

THB has great bagel sandwiches however becareful when ordering sides. I got a side potatoe salad which cost $3.78. I expected atleast like a small deli container and got the picture in my review. Instead I got a thimble. Stay away from these.

Food is always great. I haven’t had a drink here yet but I usually get a turkey breakfast sandwich and eat indoors. Sometimes the tables aren’t clean. But it’s not very loud inside which is not. They always play good tunes.

I love THB!! I get it for lunch very often, and get a pizza bagel and iced mocha. Their brewed tea is always very tasty also! I've had extremely nice staff there, and I've had pretty ok staff before. Employees can have their bad days, so I understand. All my food is always correct and delicious, even when I mobile order.

Bagels are good and have a great variety. Friendly staff but if you are thinking on dining in, think about it twice. They don't have a good kitchen hood vents and all the smoke stays in. It is annoying and clothes get impregnated with the smell.

great bagels and breakfast sandwiches. love the uncle gigi, it's like a bagel cream cheese veggie sandwich. they have a good menu selection including omelets and lunch dishes. the drip coffee is alright, haven't tried their espresso drinks. their prices are pretty good. the music can be a little odd sometimes, and it's always loud. once I came in 7am on a Tuesday and they were blasting nu metal. decent nu metal, not just mainstream garbage, but still felt weird. often they play pop, which is fine I guess. gotta get that Gen X/boomer appeal. sometimes their music just cuts out entirely, which I actually prefer personally but it becomes like a liminal space. great bagels tho

The bagels are great, nice & chewy not bready! The cream cheese is just disappointing in the flavor department.

Honestly: hit or miss. One time, I got a bagel sandwich on Asiago cheese (pictured) and it was just godly. Other times, the egg and cheese didn’t seem as fresh, or large. Good for a quick morning bite though; its open early.
