Today, I decided to try the Turkey Sausage, Egg, Bacon, and Cheese Asiago Bagel, but it wasn’t the best , bagel was stale and dry. I will only recommend the lox bagel from here. The staff were very friendly.

The woman handling pick-up there at noon Monday Dec 3 2025 has an attitude problem and is too rude to work in any service industry. Also, the so-called "homefries" is more than terrible and contains health risk.

Smoothies are made from concentrated syrup and extremely sugary. I dont have too many items with added sugar and couldn’t get past a few sips of their mango smoothie- even got an immunity booster added- $9 cup of sugar wasted. The server was kind and provided an iced latte with less syrup as an alternative and appreciate her for that. Not recommended for anyone who cannot tolerate sugar loaded syrup smoothie- no fresh fruit whatsoever! PS: Thank you for encouraging your servers to provide better customer service. Could you also look at your product offering to make it healthier- you have the responsibility of feeding our future leaders , scientists, doctors and engineers training at Hopkins. Customer service becomes easier when the products are better and well thought of

For a quick, late breakfast this place was okay! Service was relatively quick despite there being a line. We got a few kinds of savory bagels with spreads and a BLTA sandwich. All were fresh, served perfectly toasted/hot, and had a good ratio of toppings to bread. I'm no bagel pro or savant, so these were just another sandwich to me. The biggest advantage they have is lots of seating with a lower and upper level PLUS outdoor seating when the seasons permit. The restaurant itself felt clean, but the poor staff is stuck dealing with too many customers that won't bus their own tables (despite there being ample trash cans and dish returns throughout the dining areas). Perhaps more signage or stronger reminders to customers could help? But I don't blame staff for not wanting the extra labor. For convenience, this place works. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Wish the patrons were a little more thoughtful. It's a good alternative when I want a walk and something different from my neighborhood bagel spot in Mount Vernon (Belvedere Bagels).

Honestly: hit or miss. One time, I got a bagel sandwich on Asiago cheese (pictured) and it was just godly. Other times, the egg and cheese didn’t seem as fresh, or large. Good for a quick morning bite though; its open early.

This used to be my favorite place to go get delicious bagels and up until recently l never had a bad experience . However after a disrespectful experience with an employee and the manager basically laughing in my face about it l will NEVER go back there for anything. The petite , light brown skinned woman who wears glasses has a MAJOR attitude problem, Very Rude , Aggressive and Nasty. it's obvious that she's unhappy in life and l suppose acting out at work is the only outlet she has to express her frustrations. After the way l was treated and the dismissive response l got from the manager l will NEVER come here again. I can get equally good bagels from Starbucks minus the nasty attitude! Lovely location just like all the other THBs I’ve been to! Nice and new feeling with seating outside and inside, distanced ordering and easy alphabetical pickup. Bfast sammies are the best

I've driven past THB for years, never paying the place any attention. My fellow foodie friend suggested a dine in breakfast, so that would be my first visit there. I was fairly impressed with the location and how quickly staff moves through orders. Pleasant staff, nice laid back vibes that morning. I had an everything bagel breakfast sandwich and coffee which did not disappoint.

Have always had good experiences with food from this bagel shop until I recently got a bagel with cream cheese and lox and found a largish piece of plastic wrap in the sandwich. Called and spoke to the manager who apologized and said she'd issue a credit for the charge as well as a free sandwich next time I came in. At her request, I texted a photo of the plastic to her cell phone. Two weeks have passed and I haven't gotten the credit or a response to two follow up texts.

Their bagels are the slightly chewy real deal, unlike so many spots that try to pass off glorified bread rolls as "bagels." Hooray! You can't go wrong with a bacon egg and cheese bagel from this spot. They nail the ratios with a hefty pile of crispy bacon, fluffy egg, and melty cheese to bring it all together. It definitely veers salty, so I experienced a pang of regret for choosing a salt-studded everything bagel. Next time, I'll go sesame or onion to balance it all out.

offers fresh, flavorful bagels with just the right texture. I had the everything bagel with cream cheese, and it was spot on. The staff is friendly, though the place can get crowded during busy times. Good variety, a little expensive prices, and perfect for a quick grab-and-go.

Decided to stop by for a yummy breakfast sandwich since it had been a while. My favorite order if the bacon egg&cheese on an Asiago bagel with jelly. If I'm feeling really bold, then I'll do bacon and sausage This was my first time visiting this particular location and I was worried about finding a parking space since it's street parking and during the early morning rush. However to my surprise I found a spot right in front of the store! When I walked in there was plenty of seating areas for those that want to eat in. It was pretty busy but the staff were working hard to get orders out quickly. Overall I would definitely visit this location again if I'm ever in the area!

as someone who lived in new york, this is probably the closest you're going to get to new york bagels down here. while they are pricey in bagel terms, an extra 1.50 out of your wallet for one bagel isn't too bad of a deal for a decent bagel. they are kind of small, so be prepared for that. service is very streamlined and fast.

Came here mid-day on a Sunday for a last meal in Baltimore before I had to leave to go back home from my trip. I was recommended from a local as a great solid consistent breakfast place. I wasn't expecting much because it isn't quite the "classic" sit down breakfast place with high priced breakfast entrees with mid flavor. This place puts them to shame. The service was unique in that your ordered on a kiosk which saved time and made for a much more efficient system and made me think why other bagel chains who are swamped with filling orders waste their time taking orders allowing the food quality to suffer. The food came out hot and fresh and as good as I ever could have imagined. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese that truly rivaled the ones you'd get from a bagel spot in New York. I also ordered a strawberry banana smoothie that reminded me of high quality hotel smoothies. It did take a little while to make and came well after my bagel but the wait was worth it. The decor was pretty light nothing over the top but it somehow worked and just felt like a great place to hang or do some work. Also while I was there the whole upstairs had multiple chess games going on which really added to the entire experience proving THB was the neighborhood favorite amongst locals and Johns Hopkins students. Would 1000% come again.

Huge praise for THB and the glorious amount of bacon which adorned my BEC bagel. Too many times places go light on that meat goodness. Not THB. They fed me bacon like they loved me. Can't wait for another one. Also, their coffee is on point.

Nothing but great things to say about this location. The staff are fast and efficient with orders and their bagel sandwiches are always top notch! Great neighborhood breakfast spot when you are looking for something quick, filling, and delicious!

No, it is not a New York bagel, but that is quite alright, it is still a tasty bagel with an even tastier bacon, egg, and cheese to boot. It is a nice sized bagel, and you get plenty of bacon, and the proportion of egg to cheese to go along with it is a pleasant amount. I can honestly say that do it better here than some of the bagel shops and delis in New York City, where it can feel like you are being put into a coma. The bagel also tastes as you would expect a bagel should. A little sweetness from the kettle water, a nice glisten off the top, and of course, a crunchy exterior with a chewy interior. I would definitely stop here again.

The BEC was solidly average. It's a very college campus type place, good for a quick breakfast, but the food is quite expensive and it's all self serve takeout, would not go here if there was other choices.

The As a native New Yorker I Approve of the breakfast sandwiches. It taste so close to a NY breakfast sandwich. They give you what you pay for. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and it's always made right. They give a good amount of bacon. The ratio is just right. I've been going here for years and will continue to do so. Service is quick and efficient. I always order on the app 5 mins before I get there and it's ready for pickup. It's also a great spot to sit and eat if you like. The ambiance is very casual and chill especially early in the morning.

We go to THB sometimes twice a week for breakfast. The bacon egg and cheese bagel is amazing! Customer service is not the best. When you place an order online, of course you go in to pick it up. However, all the bags with the name and order number are turned away from you. So you are not able to distinguish which bag is yours. Who wants multiple people rumbling through a sea of bags to see which one belongs to them? The atmosphere is a little chaotic in the mornings, but I'm sure much more calm during non peak hours.

The bagels are not cheap and they charge fifty cents if you want them to cut a half dozen. Am I the only one that thinks it's ridiculous to charge to cut bagels. As it is, you have to order from a screen. These companies want you to do the work so they don't have to pay workers and then charge you for "extras" plus a 20% tip so we can pay the wages of the few workers they do have-who are overworked and underpaid. We have to stop supporting this.

Stopped in for the first time this morning for a breakfast sandwich on my way to work! Ordered a simple bacon, egg and cheese on a plain bagel! It was pretty good and made very quickly! Nice size! The bagel seemed to be super fresh! This place has a pretty nice size menu and I felt like I didn't really have time to look at all the options this morning. Parking can be a beast between finding spots and paying. I didn't pay this morning as I was just running in. Service was nice and I received my sandwich pretty quickly after ordering. I am definitely interested in returning to sit down and really have a look at their menu! Only thing I will say is that it was a bit pricey. The sandwich was about $5 alone plus an additional $2 and change for the OJ I got. I'm pretty sure it's due to location and being so close to Hopkins Homewood campus but it seems like it could definitely get away from you in there (money wise).

I tried to give this place a second chance. I don't get the positive reviews... the bagels are extremely tough to chew (they DON'T taste "freshly baked daily"). Caution to those who have sensitive teeth, these may cause harm. They are really dry bagels, close to stale. On the 2 occasions I went to the place which suggests to me the quality is consistently poor. I asked for a toasted bagel with cream cheese and it did not appear toasted. Also got a side of the home fries which were mediocre... the potatoes are sliced thin and also taste dry. Would rather get a bagel from Panera or elsewhere.

This was a solid place for a quick bite for breakfast! We stopped in when we were on campus and used the online kiosk to order. The bagel sandwiches are pretty affordable and you can customIze them on the kiosk. I got an egg white and tomato and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel, it was nothing special but it tasted good and fulfilled my bagel craving. I would recommend this for a fast bagel breakfast near JHU.

Delicious bagels and very efficient. I placed my order online for pickup and it was ready at the exact time that they said it would be, down to the minute. I love the Asiago bagels here and usually get a turkey sausage, fried egg, and cheese on one. I've been to many bagel places and this one has the best tasting turkey sausage option. I can also taste the freshness of the bagels. I also got the mixed berry smoothie from here which was very good. The only bad part of my experience is that the smoothie separated pretty quickly because it was made and sitting there for about 5-10 minutes before the bagel came out and they gave me my order. They have a large outside area with tables where you can sit and eat your food. There's a big parking lot right in front and street parking as well. I recommend placing an order online in advance as they seem to get really busy on weekend mornings. Will definitely be back here though

It would be great for a bagel place to actually know how to toast bagels instead of when it's asked for extra toasted and it comes raw every time please buy a proper toaster for your bagels for all your locations and train your staff on how to toast bagels properly it seems like that should be bagel education 101

The staff is always friendly, the food is always delicious and it's a laid back atmosphere. You'll mostly see Johns Hopkins students and staff.. all in all, whenever I need something catered, this is my go to spot!

I stopped by THB to get some bagels last week. It was my first visit to a THB location. The bagels were fine. Not great, not the worst. Passable. I did like that you can pre-order on the Toast app, so I was able to order and have it ready when I arrived. However, picking up from this location is a bit of a nightmare since it's right on St. Paul St.! I just parked in a spot I probably wasn't supposed to and then ran inside and ran back out. I'm new to Baltimore, and I think of THB like an Einstein's or a Bruegger's, a chain bagel shop that will do in a pinch.

First time to try their bagels and eat at this deli - we stopped for a quick breakfast early in the morning. We used their self-service counter to place orders. It was already busy even in the morning. Patrons are mostly university students and people on their way to the office. First impression - the place was very clean, which was great! Service - just okay. Professional, not warm and friendly. Food - i really enjoyed my bacon, egg, cheese bagel. It was fresh and tasty, the mocha wasn't bad either. I've been thinking about the bagel - will be back to grab a couple soon.

My wife and I have a regular bagel shop and it is THB (Towson Hot Bagels). My usual is a sausage and egg sandwich on a sesame bagel with avo, tomato, and raw onion. My wife usually gets the veggie on an everything bagel, sometimes with a shmear of their fantastic cram cheese. The bagels are not NY by any means, because they aren't made in NY, however, I love the chew and the texture of the bagel and my order always comes out right and so tasty. My take, give it a try, you'll walk away satisfied.

I got the mango blended smoothie, it was very refreshing and fruity for a humid day out. My sandwich was the bacon egg and cheese, it came with my egg fried and with the bacon crispy. The cheese was melted very nicely and complimented the sandwich and the bread. It seems the only thing missing from this meal was some kind of sauce, with the saltiness of the meal and the everything bagel seasoning, it was a bit of an overload. Overall, I give this place 4/5 stars.

This food is not good. The homefries are unseasoned, cold, and they give you a small amount. The bagel on my sandwich is chewy and they forgot my tomatoes!!!!! Although the atmosphere is nice but I'm not here for that. The mango smoothie is the only thing good. Overpriced for nothing

Born and raised on REAL NYC Bagels. who would believe that type of bagel exists in Baltimore??? Crisp crust, good "bite," great selection. FRESH. AND it can be delivered!! You like bagels? Try THB and you will never buy store-bought or any QSR offering, again.

They clearly have poor health standards here as there is no way they tie their hair back or wear hair nets since two LONG strands of HAIR ended up in my sandwhich. How did I figure it out? They forgot the Mayo so I had to add my own. I guess they saved me by messing up the sandwhich because at least I didnt take a bite yet. But I ordered through door dash and by the time it arrived THB was closed. Now I'm without lunch. Disgusted and hungry. Please improve your health and safety standards.

I ordered 3 sandwiches. Blt, Sausage Egg and Cheese, Bacon Egg and Cheese w/turkey. The other sandwiches were fine but the last one was missing the Bacon. $30 for 3 sandwiches and mine was the worst. I'll check my bag before leaving next time.

Placed an order on Uber eats for a bacon egg and cheese with avocado on a bagel. It arrived with Nutella on it. Who in their right mind orders a bacon egg and cheese with Nutella? Completely ruined the sandwich. Also their sausages for their breakfast sandwiches are knotty and flavorless. Don't order the sausage egg and cheese. Lastly I ordered an iced latte, there must not be a drop off coffee in it because it's as white as the milk that left the cow. If I could give zero stars I would.

A solid bagel lunch! I appreciate the iPad ordering system and how quickly my food came out. This location is very spacious and I found a quiet corner on the second floor to enjoy my garlic bagel with salmon and jalapeño cream cheese. Will definitely be frequenting this place since it's so near to my office.

This is definitely the worst of all the THBs. I go here because I'm close and have been a big fan of the Towson one since inception. This one is lacking in most of the ways that count though. They have this nice ordering system but it does not work too well and they will ignore any special preps added to your order. I have NEVER had one of my bagels toasted here despite indicating "toasted" every time. Why? Also the bacon/other items here are never cooked all the way and as someone else pointed out, it's as though they don't finish cooking the bagels all the way because they are definitely more chewy than other THBs. 2 stars simply because I still love Towson THB but go someone else for a crappy breakfast sandwich. Edit: also in before the manager spews the lie about them "not seeming toasted fresh out of the oven." Hint: that's a line, they're not actually fresh out of the oven and into your bag (seriously who would believe that?)

This is the 2nd time getting food from here. The 1st was through Grubhub and the 2nd was in store order. The 1st order was done incorrectly, but was able to be adjusted. I will say I love their bagels and salads. I didn't realize they cater which I might use for a future event. I highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch.

Best bagels near Hopkins. Bacon egg & cheese or sausage egg & cheese are always a move, but don't sleep on the classic buttered bagels. Great to order in bulk for meetings or get togethers with your friends (or events that nobody wants to go to). Online orders also make pickup quick & easy. Overall, 5/5

Stopped in a week ago to get a coffee after leaving the CVS. Just wanted an Caramel iced latte. I thought it was okay - I like my iced drinks actually cold, so I could tell that they put ice over a recently warm batch of coffee. Flavor was good, but I wished I had just gotten an Caramel iced coffee. With this being said, I also got a chocolate chip coffee and after the drive home in the hot sun, the cookie about made my life. It was delicious - the perfect balance of home made taste with gourmet taste. It was heaven, really.

I can't believe this place doesn't have more stars! I am always on the look out for a homemade gluten free bagel. Why call yourself a bagelry if you're just going to buy Udi's for those of us who still want to enjoy a bagel? I'm so glad I decided to try THB. Their GF everything with lox was ON POINT! My friend had a bacon,egg, & cheese on whole wheat everything and she was impressed for our first Maryland bagel. We just moved from a Denver, and this place blows any bagel we had there out of the water!

Service was beyond slow. We went at about 12pm and there were about 6 people in front of me. I waited about 20-30 minutes. My coffee came about 10-15 minutes before my bagel and by that time I was half way done with my coffee. The latte was 6 dollars and tasted like something I could make at home. The bagel was so salty I was so beyond disappointed. I ordered a turkey sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel and everything about it was salty. Sad to say I won't be coming back. I didn't want to believe the yelp reviews because Google reviews were better, but now I trust it.

Busy place with confusing and hard to navigate ordering kiosk. Last time I tried to eat here the one employee told me the pos terminals are awful and everyone has trouble with them. Months later it's still the same but they moved them and didn't fix the system to make it easier to use. I made an order and went to pay. I have a swipe card without a chip and the kiosk told me to swipe to pay but didn't do anything when I swiped my card multiple times. I tried again at the next kiosk and again at the third and none of them would take payment. I went to the front area where the employees are to get help or ask them to ring me up. Several employees walked by and look at me and walk away. I stood there for 6-7 minutes and no one would help me. I left and I won't be coming back anymore. Just go across the street where a person will take your order and help you. Thb isn't worth wasting your time in the morning and employees don't care they are just like zombie robots.

I ordered bagel with slice lox. (Plain bagel) Omg! Loved it. I also added avocado. They are just amazing combinations. The saltiness of lox is just about right, balance with the avocado. Great great . Definitely gonna visit more often.

I tried this place two months ago (via DoorDash)... tried 'em for a simple breakfast bagel sausage & egg, with one chocolate chip bagel on the side. Dayum fine chow people!!! I have been coming back to this place every few weeks since. This is my go-to place for breakfast when I have a few extra minutes and I wanna get some good bagels, good breakfast sandwich and at good prices. Now I do not know if they make the bagels there or ship 'em in, and I am not a bagel expert, but it sure tastes like they make 'em there! And the bagels are effing HUGE! Definitely a fan! Check 'em out for yourself, they have like 3 locations. I think you will approve.

I first got introduced to THB after eating their catering at an event. I was so pleased with their bagels' softness and chew that I had to check this restaurant out. Pros: - kiosks: THB makes the ordering process convenient with kiosks. I like this addition because I am extremely indecisive and slow at picking what I want. - good bagels Cons: - Elevated prices - Presentation of the bagel - Long waits. I had to wait 25 minutes to get a toasted asiago bagel with butter. While I waited, a woman stood next to me clearly frustrated because she also had to wait 25 minutes and only ordered 2 plain bagels with no toppings. All in all, I'm hesitant to come back because I don't want to wait a long time for a simple order. A bagel place like this should be a "fast grab-and-go".

Coming back from a meeting that ran extra long, hubby and I were super hungry. I've been to THB before but not this location and it's been a while. I knew they did deli sandwiches so we stopped. We check the menu out. There wasn't anyone at the register so we went to the "check yourself station". However we were having issues, and it was obvious. There were folks behind the counter, at least 3 or 4. But every time I turned around all eyes went down. Purposely avoiding eye contact. Then finally a face appeared behind the register and I say we were having problems, could she take the order. She shakes her head. Now we proceed with ordering.. And not once did she say well that will be extra or that's an up charge. Or it would better if you ordered it this way. So my chicken salad on plain bagel with chips & a drink and his turkey on a crossiant with chips & drink was..... $27.00 The crossiant was extra, bacon on both sandwiches was $2.15, my cheese was extra. (See receipt in photo) I do understand the idea of food cost and profit . But as a representative of THB, the cashier should have mentioned that. At the time there were only about 4 other patrons, it took about 10-12 minutes for our food to be ready. I should add, that our sandwiches were pretty good. The chicken salad was just what it should be simple Mayo, salt pepper and chicken. It wasn't dry and it tasted fresh Next time I find myself in THB, I'll be reviewing the menu a little more carefully

Phenomenal bacon egg cheese bagel on everything. Scooped is the way to go, they take out some filler and it's crispy and not as thick. Perfect with a nice cold brew coffee. Everything here looks amazing. Ordering system is awesome.

I love the safe/socially distanced kiosk ordering system and the staff were very friendly and chipper -- their positive demeanors definitely made my stressful workday day brighter! I ordered a veggie bagel sandwich with vegan cream cheese, and the vegan cream cheese was the BEST that I have ever had. 5 star service. 5 star sandwich. Great spot -- will def return!
