The Cuban sandwich was fresh but ok not anything amazing. The staff is friendly but the place is very worn out and filthy. The tablecloths are stained and dirty with sticky clear plastic over them. The chairs and doors are filthy, the plastic flowers everywhere are not only ugly but full of dust the soda dispenser was out of order the bathroom was filthy and the room you pass through has mold I developed a terrible cough from breathing the mold spores, the floors are super worn out the whole place needs to be remolded in the worse kinda of way. All the sombreros on the wall are super dusty nothing is clean absolutely nothing I felt like I needed a shower when I left there. Please clean your restaurant

This place is amazing!!! It has a very friendly and homely vibe. The staff happily explain about the different dishes they serve and recommend the Cuban Sandwich. The sandwich was amazing. I have ate many Cuban sandwiches from other Cuban restaurants, this is absolutely the best by far!!! After we received our food, a young boy about 7-8 yo came to us several times and asked us if we needed anything and if we needed a to go box. This experience was the best, and is why I love family owned restaurants. We will be back enough times that these folks here will know us on a first name basis.

Cuban Sandwich is HUGE and absolutely delicious! I got my mother in law the Bistec en Cebollado and she loved it, still can’t stop talking about the black beans and rice. We will be back!

I love 3 countries so much. The food is always amazing and fresh, and the employees are always kind and very fast! I love the steak torta and the chocolate tres leches, when they have it.

I love this restaurant. The nachos and tamales are superb. My husband loved the Cuban sandwich. Food is excellent every time we went.

The location has its own parking and is accessible by foot or wheelchair (use the sidewalk to get to the front door for wheelchair access). Inside, it is so cheerful and clean (plus air conditioned)! The menu has a great selection and while the Cuban was recommended as most popular, we tried a salad (my mom loved it) and I got the slow cooked beef dish. We also got the French fries, which are fresh and not frozen. The price point is so affordable, and the customer service makes you feel so incredibly welcomed and comfortable. We look forward to trying more of the menu next time :).

This is by far one of the best small restaurants I have ever been in. We went on a Saturday when it was first opened and we had a waiter serve us almost immediately and pleasantly. I highly recommend the Cuban sandwich as it was by far the best one I've eaten in Macon so far. The atmosphere is kinda older feeling but authentic. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were looking for something other than every day fast food we found this restaurant. It was very slow on the inside so we were a little skeptical, but the food was delicious. They have been there for 10 years. The Cuban sandwich it was authentic and delicious. My wife had the tilapia. We both enjoyed it very much.

3 stars for the Cuban sandwich which was nice. Another in our party ordered a rice dish with chicken and cheese. The chicken was almost minced and smelled like cat food, and the cheese was like clumps of velveeta. It was not appetizing to look at and practically inedible. I also wish the plantains were sliced thinner and not in such large chunks. Service was fine but seemed to be just one woman who seemed very frazzled and overwhelmed handling everything.

Magnificent. Been going every Saturday for a year since finding this place. Best Cubans ever, amazing congi and fried sweet plantains are cooked to perfection. Their tre' leche' and flan is out of this world and service is impeccable.

Absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant! It looks kind of rough on the outside but go in anyway because the food is worth it. The tortas are delicious and reasonably priced, and the Cuban sandwich is one of the best I have had outside of Miami (crisp pickles make a great Cuban sandwich!). If you have not tried this place yet you should.

This review is for takeout only. We ordered at the restaurant, so we did get to see the cute inside. 3 Countries is very festive! Walking in, it did not feel like we were in Georgia and we loved it! They have a few tables outside under adorable café lights. Here's what we got: - 11. Pollo Cuban Style ($8.99): The BBQ chicken was delicious and fell off the bone. It was a little sweet like syrup, but in the best way possible. It came with rice, black beans, cooked yuca, and plantains. Out of all the sides, the rice was the best. I've had better plantains and the black beans and yuca were just eh. - 20. Cuban Sandwich ($7): My husband said it was amazing!! In terms of Covid, they don't require masks. The cashier was wearing a mask, but the owner's mask was below her nose and her family weren't wearing masks at all. They do have tables roped off for social distancing though. Overall, the main meals were good! A lot of food for a fair price!

Must have been an off day. We came during the Cherry Blossom Week and they were out of a bunch of dishes and the dishes we did get were a bit salty and nothing special. Maybe my expectations were too high because I read excellent reviews on the place. The server was cool, and as nice as he could be, but I was disappointed. I'm from Jacksonville, so it's not like I'm going to drive to Macon to come back. If in town, I'm not sure this place would be on my 'go to' list simply because I'm thinking there are so many other places to try out and I just wasn't "wowed" by this one.

Amazing service. Excellent food ! First visit today. We had ground beef tacos chicken tamales and chicken fajitas Have not had food this good since I lived in Texas. Very authentic taste. Waiter was very helpful in making suggestion We will be back very soon.

The Cuban sandwich lives up to the hype. It's the best that I've had. This is one of our "go to" places in Macon.

Stopped in after work for some to go. The carnitas were delicious. The server also suggested the tamales but maybe I will get them next time.

I haven't tried too much on the menu because the Cuban is typically very very good. Sometimes it's just ok, but never bad. Very friendly service as well.

Best Cubano in Georgia and the best tacos in Macon! Don't skip the tres leches either, it was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Most tender pork I have EVER had. We ordered two Cuban dishes. Pork, steak, rice & beans, plantains, yucca. Everything was incredible, and cheap too. This is home cooking from another country. And it has that hole-in-the-wall feel, where you just KNOW the food is going to come out right. I would be remiss if I failed to acknowledge the kindness of the folks running the restaurant. We got to the restaurant maybe 30 min before close. We apologized because we hate to be those people holding up employees on a Friday night. But everyone assured us to take our time. AND the chef answered all our questions about how she cooks the meats we enjoyed because it was THAT GOOD. We had to know.

Macon, Georgia! Tamales, Tacos, Cuban sandwich with a cup of delicious Cuban coffee. Cool find and just what we needed after days of grits and fried chicken.

Amazing Cuban Sandwich and plantains! I recently traveled to south Florida in search of a good Cuban sandwich and have to say, 3 counties was as good if not better than anything I had in Miami / Key west.

Authentic as a sarape- fresh and small portions. Had the pollo tamale and a carnitas taco. Superb Wish they had a cerveza, but oh well

Best Cuban sandwich I've found ever. Hands down one of my favorite places to eat. Three countries offers Mexican, Cuban, and American food, but I always stick with the Cuban and fried plantains. I've had some of their other dishes, and they are great, but the Cuban and plantains are a staple. I eat here at least once a month.

The Cuban Sandwiches were amazing. Black beans were outstanding.a really good reasonably priced place to eat. Wished they were in Warner Robins Too.

All I have to say is AMAZING! I'd seen this restaurant in passing many times and finally decided to try it last night. I have never had such delicious authentic Mexican/Cuban food. The service is great and the food comes out fast! I'm defiantly going back!

Try this place if you live here or are just passing through. The salsa is fresh and spicy and the Cuban sandwich/plantains are el mas excelente!

I am not sure why this place got high ratings but it was a major disappointment for us.. First, chips are old (i am used to chips that are freshly made) and the salsa is definitely something that came straight from a can/bottle. Second, the menu was so confusing and the servers were no help at all. Third, the food was eh, bland, and nothing to write home about. I ordered the carnitas (deep fried pork) from the Cuban menu and it was served lukewarm and didn't have the flavor I am used to. I asked for a sauce to make it palatable and even suggested some lime and salt and she offered salsa, no thank you. If you've tried authentic Cuban food you'd be disappointed here.

We ate at this restaurant for dinner. It was not that good. I got the fajita plate. The meat was not seasoned well. The plantains were good. We were the only people in the restaurant when we went. It was kind of weird because the staff acted as if they were surprised to see us. At some point, they started playing music while we were eating. It was fine until we realized it was the same song on a loop. After hearing it three or four times, it was annoying. The concept behind the restaurant is a wonderful idea but it isn't executed well. I couldn't confidently recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I went here for lunch one afternoon. Upon arrival, the place was empty, so I went to the counter and rang a bell. A young man ca,e out and gave us a menu, cups for our drinks, and offered us to sit anywhere we wanted. A few minutes later he came out and took our order. I got the Cuban sandwich which was excellent. My friend got the fajita and said it was different, but good. The restaurant was clean and prices were reasonable.

What a meal! I stopped by today at a low traffic time (2:00 PM) and tried the roasted pork and was that the best decision! The pork was tender and cooked to perfection! But my absolute predilection was for those fried plantains; I needed to order a plate of those on the side. The ambiance was perfect and the hosts are charming. Definitely added to my food list.

I wish I could rate you a 10 THANK GOD I FOUND YOU ALL. Best place in Macon. Will be back on a regular

Finally got to try 3 countries and I'm glad that I did. Got the ropa vieja with plaintains and yuca. Didn't care for yuca which I think is similar to a potatoe? But everything else was delicious and seasoned really well. I ordered to go while on my lunch break and I was afraid that the to go portions would be small but they gave me a good bit of food! The plaintains were good they would have tasted even better if maybe the grease or whatever they cook them in had been changed. But other than that everything else was great. Friendly owners too

I must only imagine that those rating this as good Cuban food have never actually had Cuban food. You can find much better in Stockbridge or Bonaire, depending on what direction you want to go. Heck you can find better Cuban food at my house and I am a pasty Irish girl. The pork was basically boiled and 50% fat, white rice (huh?) was over cooked as were flavorless black beans. Also, if serving yucca as a boiled substitute for wallpaper paste, please note that on the menu. Also, I learned yucca has bones, someone should call animal planet to get it reclassified from a plant to an animal. As far a Mexican food , throw a stone anywhere in Macon and you will hit better Mexican food. I wish I could give points for service but that was lacking too. The chairs were pretty colors though.

Super Food at Great Prices! And very friendly service in a spacious & welcoming atmosphere. You must try out their corn-husked wrapped, handmade Tamales--available in 3 varieties w a drink for $5.99. Or their terrific Cuban sandwich, with bread that has just the right amount of crunchiness; you'll probably have to take some of it home. Don't have exactly the right change? This place rounds the bill DOWN! Need I say more? Yes--a full parking lot in back of the building.

Found this gem while looking up places to have brunch on Saturday morning. I'm from out of town so usually when I go to macon it's to do a little shopping and the restaurants are all chain restaurants which I can find back home. I found 3 countries on yelp and let me tell you I was in for a surprise. I have Cuban friends so I know what Cuban food should look and taste like and this is by far the best I've had. The portions are huge. I had plenty left over. I'll attach a picture. My sister has the Cuban sandwich and she was only able to eat half of half !!! I had the 13. Roast pork and my mom had 15. Carnitas , fair warning.... although the meat looks very similar the seasoning is very different , both very delicious though. I'm not sure if they didn't have CONGRI(a mixture of white rice and black beans cooked together)this day but the replacement was delicious either way. I will definitely return to this place. One recommendation I did have is order yourself a little side salad , this plate has so many delicious CARBS and such... so you may want a little green in your life if that's your preference .

This place is still awesome! They revamped there salsa, and it is soooooooo gooooood! It is the best Mexican food in downtown Macon--no doubt whatsoever!

Not the best not the worst. Staff was friendly it service was slow. Staff no equips to understand changes to the order. Overall food was bland but edible.

Walked in on a slow, rainy Saturday afternoon. "Party of two." Only four other people in the restaurant huddled together eating a quiet lunch. Cool table settings, colorful chair arrangements, and pretty pictures that looked like they were all of Spain and... Italy. Only seemed to be two people working, but we seated ourselves and ordered quickly enough, as one of the ladies serving us frowned at us, gave us our cups and paper towel napkins, and then gave us a reluctant smile as she walked off. By that time, the initial uneasiness we had when we walked in had subsided a bit. All the other reviews talk about the good quality of the Cuban and super-Mexican foods but I ordered a simple chicken taco salad and the very adventurous girl sitting across from me ordered a cheese quesadilla. We also had some chips that had a weird scent to them but went great with the surprisingly awesome salsa. I can say this because the previously mentioned adventurous girl isn't a NORMAL person and doesn't eat salsa but still tried it and said it was good. Both entrees were good, actually. I didn't try Adventurous Girl's quesadillas but she gave them her mark of approval and the chicken on my salad was super, super good for simply chicken on salad. I only give the place three stars because I didn't try their flagship stuff and it didn't seem fair to give or take away stars based on stuff I didn't have. After the meal, though, we visited the attached frame shop inside the same building and with a little investigation officially determined that the whole place was a portal to another dimension and a front for an ancient secretive teleportation society. Spooky stuff. Was a good date.

This was the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had in my life! Outstanding food, but I'm not sure of the vegan option... Or even if there is one.

My father and his parents are from Cuba. I grew up eating authentic Cuban cuisine. Anyone that claims 3 countries is not authentic, has probably eaten some other type of food they thought was Cuban. I have tried EVERY dish on the Cuban menu, many more than once. I have always been extremely pleased!!! Portions are healthy, taste is excellent, and price is extremely reasonable for what you get. I have been here quite a bit since I found them almost 2 years ago. I have tried some of the Mexican dishes as well, and while not exactly what I expected (we all gain perceptions from places like Taco {yuck} Bell), they have always been extremely satisfying to my palet. I love their chips and especially their in house made salsa!! They truly need to bottle that stuff!! And NEVER (and I do mean NEVER) have I ever gotten stale or bad tasting chips. The owners and their family who run this place are extremely friendly and courteous. The only thing I would change? Turn the dining room thermostat down a little (guess it's that hot Cuban blood in me)... LOL... but that is a small thing. Their food is worth braving even warmer temps during the summer!!! Let's face it. Some people just don't like real Cuban Cuisine. The best thing to do since they have mostly fantastic reviews, is try it for yourself. You just may find another great tasting place to mix up your weekly or monthly menu for dining out.

We ordered here for lunch and had about 8 orders. Food was ready promptly. Everyone enjoyed their dish. I had the Cuban sandwich and plantains. The sandwich was one of the best things I've had in a long time. While I never have tried Cuban, I can't speak to it's authenticity, but it was very tasty. My plantains were overcooked and didn't have any seasoning, so I'd skip those next time. Otherwise, everything was delicious and I'll for sure be back.

We just cruised past and I caught our eye. I got an asada torta and it was the best I've had in a while. We also got chicken tacos, and their tamales; totally stellar. The lady was sweet and helpful with the menu. We seriously can't wait to come back for a lazy afternoon!

Good food, wonderful people, give them a try. I'm a fan of Cuban food (pretty scarce in Macon). Their congri y Puerco (Cuban rice and pork), ropa vieja (stewed beef), and imperial rice (chicken/shrimp rice casserole) specials are terrific, especially at the price. I've been to the establishment many times for breakfast, lunch, and take-out and have not been disappointed. As an affordable, lunch and take-out restaurant, they excel. They go out of their way to accommodate and deserve a higher rating.

Service was sweet and genuine. Staff is very polite and helpful with a great attitude. Cuban sandwich--only okay. Deli ham on sandwich not good. Tacos bad. Yellow American cheese on the American style tacos....most restaurant use white cheese. (I know we're white, but c'mon!) Plantains were awesome and generous portions which is nice, and the price is very low on their whole menu, which does offer a huge array of cuisine. Kinda sketchy part of Macon with an unsettling parking area, but it's alright. Ordered a Cuban coffee (very familiar with it) and they made me an American coffee I guess assuming I wouldn't know the difference. I drink Cuban coffee every day. Unfortunately not that hole-in-the-wall Haven I was hoping to find amidst the rundown historic Macon area. But may try again one day.

I got the fried tacos and they were delicious. My husband got the Cuban steak and was very satisfied. As for my young son, he got a single beef taco and when I tasted it, the beef was different and way better than what you normally get in a Mexican restaurant. We will definitely be coming back here. I would highly recommend trying this place!

My husband and I tried this place because it got such good ratings. However the only thing we really enjoyed was the salsa. It was spicy, fresh, and delicious. I got the chicken fajitas. When they came out in knew they probably weren't going to be that good because they had no color on them from spices. The chicken almost had a boiled color. My husband got the Cuban bbq chicken. If you look at the pictures on here of the fajitas and cuban bbq that someone took, our food looked nothing like it. He said his chicken was pretty bland. This place is definitely nothing to write home about. I'll stick to my 2 authentic places in Warner Robins to eat Cuban and Mexican food.

Very reasonably priced with large servings. Prompt and courteous service. Authentic food and atmosphere. Great lunch spot. I got the chicken Cuban plate and it was very good.

Holy cow Y'all! I have just sat down to home made tamales and an amazing Cuban sandwich with fried plantains. So so good. You've got to give this place a try!

I love a family owned restaurant and this is one of the best. Today I had the Cuban with fries and a drink. The server said it was his favorite and I understand why. It was the best I've had and the fries are fresh cut. It just couldn't have been better. I've been here before for American and Mexican food and have always been pleased. They recently added wifi which is what I'm using to write this review. It's nice to have a restaurant this good in town.

Three Countries is right down the street from my job so it's very convenient and overall really great food. I'm from California and I'm use to eating authentic tacos and I wasn't able to find them in Macon until now. This restaurants has them just how I like!! My boyfriend had the Cuban sandwich which was delicious too! Your missing out if you haven't experienced this food!!
