THE 901

I went here with a group of coworkers and it was definitely a enjoyable time. We did karaoke had some very basic food. Just like fries and stuff, but they were good. The drinks were good, very strong. I like that you have the option to order in the karaoke room or at the bar. The staff was super nice super sweet.One of them even sung with us in the karaoke room .

We have been here a few times after eating some good KBBQ for round two in the Duluth area. Service at times is usually great and once bad, the last time we were there I ordered in English and we were wondering where’s the free service (nachos and sauce). Anyways, we come here for the boneless chicken feet, so good! FYI, they don’t know how to make a good Long Island Ice Tea (our favorite drink) was so sweet and weak…

Went to this place for my sil birthday. Nice place with private booths. It was a bit of a learning experience with the karaoke machine but once we figured it out it was easy. Was a little let down with some of the limited choices for songs. Absolutely no Sublime songs which was shocking. But we were able to find something. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Would love if there was a way to request certain songs/artists. All and all a good experience. 4/5.

This place is wonderful to hangout with group since each area is sectioned off where you can have some privacy. Food was amazing. It was very spicy but the quality of the food was amazing. As for the wing ( lemon pepper) wasn’t that great. It had heavy flavor of honey verses lemon pepper. They have so many varieties of beer and alcohol which I loved. Only thing I really didn’t like was the service. Very rude and services are poor.

The food was really good, and me and my friends enjoyed ourselves overall... but see, when we arrived we originally asked to be sorted at the bar or a table and one of the guys proceeded to put us in a private room and asks if this was okay, we said yes. Me and my friends enjoyed ourselves and had our food and whatever and some drinks then we paid for our food upfront. FIRST THING YOU NEED TO KNOW: Depending on how much food you have ordered, They AUTOMATICALLY add on a tip percentage of their choosing into your bill so you've already paid a tip prematurely. SECOND THING YOU NEED TO KNOW: This was our FIRST TIME ever going here so we had no idea we were being charged for this private room. The karaoke bill came up to $52 and we were outraged. Because we didn't even want or need a room in the first place, the restaurant was dead as hell and there were SO MANY AVAILABLE TABLES that they could have put us in but chose not to. We still paid it but we will not be returning. I Just wished the waiters had communicated that and I did have that conversation with them but they did not apologize at least and just made it seem it was justified as he continued to explain they could have put us in but chose not to. So overall, the vibe is good, I will say that. They have every single KPOP song in history available for you to sing. Just make sure you are firm that you want the bar or a table before they try to lead you into the rooms. Unless that is something you want, do not let them sit you anywhere. I just hope this review saves anyone from their hidden karaoke policy.

I'm really happy to see the return of the Tuesday Night Sale Event I will definitely visit again because this is the best restaurant in the Duluth area.

All the songs were good, drinks were good. However, our bill came up to $100 dollars (it was only 5 of us, it was 30 dollars for the group. Plus if you wanted a food or drink) However what they didn’t tell us is the 20% AUTOMATIC GRATITUTY for EVERYONE as the workers are all bubbly and laughing whole service. We just walked in asked them how much room was all they said was 30 and gave us a room. They were still demanding a second tip as well. They should’ve told us in the beginning other than that the vibes were good. Also smelt like musty and cigars. I am livid just expect 20% gratuity added on.

Went to The 901 for the first time tonight. It was recommended to me by a friend of mine. It was very easy to call and make a reservation and the person who helped me make the reservation was professional and informative. The karaoke rooms are very clean and comfortable, and I really liked the sound setup. We had a party of six and we orderes a fair amount of food and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was highly attentive and provided us with everything that we needed throughout our evening. They had a fairly good song selection. It would however be nice if they had someplace where you could put in a request for them to add songs for the future. If you don't read Korean I would say don't be intimidated by the karaoke remote They provide a helpful guide so you can navigate it easily. Also I accidentally pushed some button and messed up a setting but we called someone in there to help us and she fixed it for us. I will absolutely be back and even though it's a little ways off I am planning to have my birthday party there in September can't wait!

When in the Duluth area after some good KBBQ, we at times come here. Last time was our 4th or 5th time there and the cocktails were on the weak side... but they made up for it. Service is usually good and we always get a room for the three of us and order a lot of beer and soju . Usually the place isn't too loud. We like the vibe it has, the boneless chicken feet and the place is huge.

This sea snail salad is my favorite. I come here just to order the same thing every time. It's so good.

When we walked in, the atmosphere was peaceful, likely because it was a weekday and not too crowded. The food and service were great--the dishes arrived quickly and the portions were relatively big. The staff was also attentive. We also did karaoke, which offered a good variety of songs, though the selection of English songs was limited. When we played a song, we probably only got a 30-second preview before it cut off. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would definitely return for that.

We decide to come here on a Friday night after dinner for Karaoke. When I first walked in. I was super impressed on how clean the place was. Its called "Luxury Bar" for a reason. You could either karaoke here or hang outside in the booth. They also have a Photo Booth to take pictures for $6. Take advantage of the photo both when you come thru have done cute props. The large room is $30 an hour with free complimentary chips and salsa. We had to spend more than $100 in order to get one hour of karaoke for free. It's a true karaoke place and does not run off of YouTube like some places. We didn't order food, we just got some snacks. I really like the place and the service was great! Happy hour are Monday through Thursday from 5pm to 8pm which consists of 30% off food and small soju bottles for $9.99. I will definitely be back to try out the food.

Don't mistake the variety for mediocrity; the bartenders at The 901 truly know how to make a drink that will leave you wanting more. What sets this place apart is the presence of a middle-aged gentleman, who I can only assume is either the manager or owner. He exudes a notable sense of respect and kindness, demonstrating a genuine care for service and quality. His passion for creating a remarkable experience for customers makes my time at The 901 even better. I was pleasantly surprised by the convenient buttons on every table, allowing you to call a server directly to your table. This thoughtful feature is common in South Korea, and I think that American businesses should definitely take note of such innovative ideas that enhance the overall dining experience. The servers at The 901 are super sweet, attentive, and kind, going above and beyond to ensure that you have an exceptional time. They seem to almost read your mind, anticipating your needs and providing excellent service. There's only one worker that stands out as sort of miserable and lingering, giving off an aura of existential dread. I try to avoid her when I go, but I must admit she does have good taste in music, which adds to the diverse playlist at the karaoke bar. During weekdays, you can enjoy K-pop music, particularly New Jeans, one of my favorite k-pop groups. On weekends, the vibe shifts to more hip hop and trendy pop, with some nostalgic 90s music thrown in for good measure. This music selection creates an energetic and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. I've had the opportunity to try the food on two occasions, and one of those times was entirely by accident when I was invited to join a table of friendly strangers. They kindly paid for my drinks that I already had alone and allowed me to eat with them. The food choices, including delectable fish cake, spicy rice cakes, and chicken feet, were not my usual palate or choices, but they were surprisingly delicious. For those looking to make the most of their money, I recommend visiting The 901 with a group to enjoy the food options, as it's a common approach in Korean restaurants. While the karaoke rooms might be on the pricey end, the overall experience and excellent service make it well worth the expense. Overall, The 901 is undeniably one of my top places for late-night eats and drinks in Duluth. I will always find an excuse to visit this lovely establishment with its delightful staff and captivating ambiance.

If you're looking for that K-bar that's not as crazy as glam, but still has good food or isn't as lowkey as Hanshin but still has good food, this is the place for you! The ambiance here is just great, it's very open and lively feeling. Perfect for large groups of friends. I definitely recommend grabbing some friends and grabbing some food/drinks here!

The vibe and music here is really nice. The atmosphere is really good. However, I came here like a month ago and wasn't a fan of the food, which was the ox and beef brisket soup (lack of flavor) , the wings (were ok), and the seafood pancake (ok too). I told my good friend I wasn't planning to come back but she convinced me to come back and try other dishes.... So, I came back and I tried the boiled pork, rice ball, and spicy boneless chicken feet. All these dishes were so yummy and I will be coming back eat again! The service here is good and the waiter/waitress were very friendly. This place also has karaoke :) However, this place is a little pricey because it's supposed to be luxury restaurant/bar, just fyi! Let me just start off by saying that our server, John, has been so wonderful in ensuring that we have received everything that we needed despite how busy it was on a Friday night. The food was wonderful as always and I would always recommend this place after a long night when other places start closing. Shoutout to John for the amazing service

Amazing decor, incredible service and well priced. Took advantage of the happy hour and the staff was super attentive and food was on point. Traveling between Seoul and Southern California frequently, the authenticity and quality of this venue holds its own and is a gem in Duluth! Highly recommend and can only imagine the weekend ambiance with its space and lighting!

The 901 is one of the newest K-bars in town and I could not be happier! If you're looking for a GLAM vibe with less people, The 901 is the place to go. I come here whenever I want to get drinks with good K-bar food but don't want the plethora of people like Glam. The interior is extremely huge. They have tables, booths, karaoke rooms and just plenty of space just in general. I came here to get drinks and this is what I ordered the most recent time I came. Spicy Fire Daechang - This dish was very good. Comes with daechang, garlic & rice cakes and the seasoning is perfectly sweet & spicy. The server did say it was very spicy so we asked for a little less spicy. It was perfect! The only thing I will say though is that the portions are kind of small considering it is a $28.99 dish. Fish Cake Stew - I loved the odeng tang. It's different from your usual odeng tang. It came with rice cakesC plenty of fish cake skewers and even udon noodles so it was just a great dish and perfect soup for drinking. The service is top notch and they give you nachos with homemade salsa as service so that was pretty neat too. They also have darts in the back so there's plenty to do here. I hope that this place can get some attention it deserves as it's a great place!

Cute place for having a date night or a small group of friends to gather and drink. The food was delicious and service was on point. Price is a little higher but I guess if you go with a group and split it's not too bad. The dishes are mostly drinking dishes and sharing dishes so it's doable. Although I prefer Han Shin down the street because it gives a more street and relax vibes. I'd come back with friends here.

This place had it all. We celebrated my wife's birthday here and they were incredibly awesome! They made sure we were comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed. When we had a question they provided an immediate response, especially when it came to operating the karaoke device! Very luxurious feel while also providing amazing service! definitely recommend 10/10. If you need hep finding songs, simply ask and they will show you the way!

I use to love coming here to hang with friends, grab food and a few drinks while karaoke-ing on the weekends. However, I don't know when they started to do this, but now they have a minimum charge of $100 on the weekends, NOT INCLUDING the $30-35 per hour for karaoke. I don't know if this only pertains to weekends but the fact that they are forcing people to buy a minimum of food/drinks that total up to at least $100 and are HELLA PUSHY about it, doesn't sit well with me. I'm sure they also up the minimum amount depending on your group size. Don't get me wrong, their drinks are good and the karaoke rooms are fun, but make sure if you're planning on coming here, that you and your party are aware they will charge you a certain amount regardless of how short your stay is.

went with two friends for my birthday, service was okay at first until we kept getting rushed. we were seated at a booth with wet seats and a wet table. when we advised the waiter the entire booth was still wet he said they were just cleaned and did not offer anything to dry or wipe off our booth, we were all in dresses having to sit on a wet seat with a wet table. we had to use our coats/jackets to sit on the seats.. the food was good, very pricey though. midway through our night the server advised us of what time they close which is 2am, we responded that we were aware of the time they closed. once we got the bill, the server came into the room three more times to tell us they were closing, each time we advised him we were preparing to pay the bill. another waiter then comes into the room to tell us they are closed. my friends and had already stopped the karaoke at least 20 minutes in advance so we could pay the bill together which we told the waiter that we had just told the previous waiter that and that he did not need to keep telling us they were closed. at this point we felt very rushed out of the bar due to the animosity of the employees. The second waiter attempted to pressure me into tipping, which i usually do when the service is good but i was not satisfied and the crew already received a very decent gratuity tip of $30. the only thing i can give props to is the quality of the food, would not go to this karaoke bar again.

Loved it here! Everything was great, the food, service and rooms. We had a group of 12 so in addition to the hourly karaoke room rate, we had to spend an additional minimum of $300 on food, drinks...etc. which was great for the big group and you can definitely hit the minimum. The room was very clean and spacious. The servers were very prompt and got everything for you right away. I will say the only thing is the food selection being somewhat limited. We had a couple people who had food restrictions and they weren't able to eat anything. We also had a couple of people who weren't drinking that night or don't drink so it also would've been nice to have some mocktails or zero alcohol beers. However, overall I'd definitely come back here and would recommend this place to everyone!

My group of friends and I are no strangers to the bar life on Pleasant Hill. We are excited for this new addition! We went on a Tuesday night. Rather quiet but I know the vibes must be great on busier nights. Kevin's service was 10/10. We got a room for $25/hour and ordered their most premium bottle of Patron Silver for $230. (I know... steep!) I hope they can provide a better selection of tequilas soon. Tequila is in right now! As per usual the bottle came with the complimentary fruit platter or cheese platter priced at $20 on the menu. We ordered the boneless chicken feet and bossam. We LOVE bossam! Thank you for the oyster option!!! The space was a little too big and open for comfort but as I said early I bet it's perfect for on a busier night. I definitely appreciated all the small and thoughtful touches like free dart boards, mic stand in every room, and TOILET SEAT COVERS in the women's restroom!

We've been here a few times now, and every time, the service has been great! We love the clean, big rooms, and the lounge area is cool, too! It reminds me of the fancy NRBs in LA. Chris, the manager, was nice and gave us free appetizers for my friend's birthday. This will be our go-to GNO spot!!

My friend and I walked in and we're not greeted at all, despite the restaurant still being open. The workers were all sitting at a table, looking at us with annoyance. We left in a matter of minutes because we felt so uncomfortable.

Went on a weekday and place was empty. Food was slow. Management came out and demanded for more tip.

The place looks nice but cut to the chase; the server straight up grab our shot glasses out of our hands as he kicked us out.... I understand it's near closing but still never gave us a heads up. We wouldn't have a problem leaving if he told us before if they want to get everyone out by 2 i would understand they want to go home i feel bad for being the last customers there that's why we made sure to tip them 25%. Never have i ever had a server physically grab drinks out of our hands like wtf?! I don't even do that to my own customers. I bet this place is really great and has amazing service and all but this was my first time coming here and last. Never experience anything like this at a pocha....

Had a veriety of food there. And they sure do taste terrific. Made a resolution to visit here more often.
