The Abbey

A beautiful property that appears pretty abandoned. I explored by driving around and got out to take more photos. Would love to see it inside or it could use signage all over the property to teach about its history. Several buildings are located on the property in worse condition unfortunately.

This place is incredibly peaceful. Absolutely breathtaking architecture. Such a very serene place to visit. 👏✨❤️

The Darkside of the Abbey is always amazing. We've gone 3 years in a row to do the haunted house and it's the best one we have ever been to!! Its so much fun, super well done and always full of surprises!! We go every year and plan to keep the tradition! Its also very inexpensive, everyone should try it out if you love a good scare!!

The place was not open ..but it really looks very cool ...and old ..

2 hour wait for 15 min. Haunted house is ridiculous... Or you can pay extra $$$ for fast pass and then go threw the haunted with a group of weirdos instead of your friends you have been waiting in line with all night DO BETTER Abbey !!!!

Love taking our dogs for a walk around the Abby! Beautiful view of the mountains. There has been an owl that hangs out at the Abby when we are walking our dogs. I would like to add, the new owners are doing an amazing job with cleaning up the grounds, adding new roofs on some of the buildings, it's always nice to see what they are working on next! It's looking more beautiful and cared for as it is a special part of Canon City and a peaceful area we can walk our dogs daily as the weather permits! We are so proud and excited to see what is next for the beautiful Abby!! Thanks those who are putting in the hard work to keep the Abby beautiful and maintained!!

Went there for wine tastings and loved it. We sat on the back porch and enjoyed the summer breeze. They have great wine for everyone's taste. Friendly staff, beautiful place.

I've never been inside the Abby. We went to a car show on the grounds of the Abby this weekend. This is a great place for outdoor venues and they do have a really nice wine cellar and store on the property.
