Where to Watch Football like a True San Francisco Fan | Eater

"An authentic Inner Richmond Irish dive that gets loud and rowdy on game day, regularly packed with passionate 49ers supporters and also frequented by Seattle fans; the atmosphere is energetic enough that cheers can be heard from down the street." - Vox Creative

By far my favorite bar in the city. On Mondays they have the best comedy show in San Francisco and the Thursday trivia is awesome too. Highly recommend coming here

Chellee Parker

Google
Love to come here on Saturdays because the bar tender is so amazing! It really makes the experience so much better, even though it’s hard to top the Guinness. The locals are so friendly and no matter how your day is going, you leave here feeling happy. Doesn’t hurt to have a Taco Bell next door :)

Cheyenne Stirling

Google
Bartender was amazing! Love on a slow day someone who's attentive and not on their phone and reading a book! We talked books for hours. I had a wonderful Guinness it seems like a one time fluke whatever this "scathing" review was.

Google
Best Irish pub in SF! Good bier, nice activities and a great barman! I wish I could live in SF to go every single day of my life.

Google
Been coming here about six months and it’s quickly become my favorite bar. The Monday Comedy is awesome and so is the Thursday Trivia. They’ve got a really fun rotation of live music and the people are pretty awesome. It feels like a real life cheers.

Google
Was here for St. paddy’s. The music was really fun and the drinks were strong. My biggest issue is that there is no food. Some of us have to eat to imbibe! Bathrooms needed some attention but it is a holiday. Thanks for the fun band for performing fun hits

Google
A cool local Irish pub with a heart. They have live music dancing pool tables fantastic decor and a happy friendly vibe. It’s pretty intimate and everyone is cool.

Google
the bartender admitted the Guinness tap was acting up; even called her manager to diagnose the problem. told us the line wasnt getting any nitro; still charged us full price for the flattest Guinness ever pulled. wait for the bitter end to open; the bartender there actually treats her customers right!

Yelp
Cheap beers in San Francisco, as real as unicorns, but abbey tavern makes dreams come true

Yelp
Someting to do every night (if you're interested), great drink selection, cheap drinks, great bartenders, pool table and darts. Nice spacious area and a wonderful environment to be in.

Yelp
Went here with my brother on St Patrick's day and it was a great time. Shout out to the doorman Bob he's a great dude. I like how this pub is on one level with the games in back and the bar/TVs up front. Got to come back for the UFC fight nights.

Yelp
Abbey's Tavern in San Francisco is a spacious and lively spot located in the Inner Richmond. The bar offers a comfortable atmosphere, making it a great choice for a casual night out. The dartboards are a nice feature, although they could benefit from a ring lighting system to enhance the playing experience. The drinks are decent, catering to a classic Jack and Coke crowd, and the bartender was attentive and friendly. Overall, it's a cool sports bar that provides a relaxed and enjoyable setting for a Wednesday night. I was there for my first night in the San Francisco Dart League.

B K.

Yelp
The Abbey is a great neighborhood sports bar, fun welcoming vibes. It's become my go to spot for 49ers, Warriors games & UFC fights. Also they have a really great free comedy show every Monday night, called Mirthquake. The comics are great & they do a new theme every week! Would highly recommend this spot, especially on Mondays when the Comedy is happening!

Yelp
Solid neighborhood bar. Been here twice with a larger group of people and we've always been able to hang out with no problem in the upstairs area with pool and darts. Cost per game of pool is $1.50, and the bartender will exchange bills for quarters for you. If you're lucky, the bartender's dog, Leia, will be there! A great comfortable, unassuming place for a beer and a game of pool.

kirstin O.

Yelp
Very inclusive neighborhood pub... Looks like a great place to sit and drink, but you need to be a local to feel comfortable.

Johanna C.

Yelp
Great bar and friendly peeps Full of interesting people and vibes A great place to switch off as well

Yelp
Saw some free comedy last Wednesday, venue was good, went to Scarlett lounge before but drinks at the tavern were better.

Pete P.

Yelp
Great bar, honest prices and even better prices at 4:00 Happy Hour. They even have music, nice TV's to watch the games.

Yelp
This was sort of a later stop on an afternoon crawl so my memories are a little hazier but the beers were cold and the bartender was nice and I don't really have any complaints. Seems like a good place to catch a niners game.
google avatar

Yelp
It's sooo loud I'm having a terrible time everyone e keeps asking me to dance and it's suffocating. A stream of sweat dripped off a dancer's butt cheeks and went into my phone and now I can't hear anything when anyone calls me. Pastries are 4/5 though. Overall would recommend

Yelp
This place is a great hangout spot, bring your own food, but they know how to pour a Guinness. Make sure to come in on a Thursday, they do a great trivia, it's low tech with a ton of charm and winner gets a discount on their tab!

Yelp
Nothing particularly stands out about Abbey Tavern, but after watching some wonderful live music here the other day, I also found very little to complain about as well. Abbey Tavern is laid back, spacious, and seems to transform easily - according to the crowd. When I visited here the other day, their bartender was laid back and warm. He filled up my water glass on the regular with a kind smile. The small intimate stage situated on the right corner of Abbey's main floor is great for showcasing local talent. The sound throughout the performances that I watched, though loud and occasionally buzzing at times, traveled well within the space. Outside of friendly staff and decent music capabilities, Abbey Tavern is just an easy-going hang-out spot. Their two floors allow for patrons to spread out and either linger by the bar downstairs, or head on upstairs to play either pool or fooz-ball. If you're interested in soccer or sports - this place can definitely get rowdy on big nights. In the hood and seeking a warm inviting space to kick back and catch up over a cold drink? - The Abbey Tavern is a solid call. Trust.

Yelp
Thirsty Thursdays + College Night = HELLA CRACKIN' I'm OLD and I've been out of college for quite some time now; 6 years to be exact. My friends told me Abbey Tavern is normally crackin' on Thursdays and apparently so because our 11 PM curfew (because we're old and have adult responsibilities) turned into a 3 AM curfew. Talk about cracked out Fridays at work. But anyhow... Last night, 9.1.11, we came to Abbey's Tavern at around 10:15 PM and there was a small line out the door but after our ID's were checked, we were quickly ushered in. As I walked in I thought to myself, "F*ck, what did I get myself into?" The crowd looked like they just changed out of their Huggies to come to Abbey's. Long behold, I see a poster, "College Night on Thursdays". Umm, I guess it's a good thing I have the Asian genes? *sigh* B A R *The bar is super crowded and it's very difficult to get a drink because there's people sitting down/stools in the way. *Expect to push and shove your way to the bar. *Bartenders are friendly, fast and efficient though. *CC's are accepted. D R I N K S *DIRT CHEAP & STRONG! *On Tuesdays and Thursdays, beer is $1 and pitchers are $6. *Cocktails and shots were $4-$5 (I ordered 3 Jager Bombs, Rum & Coke and a Hendrick's Tonic for ONLY $20!) M U S I C *Live DJ *The DJ last night was AWESOME and TOTALLY KILLED IT! She was spinning Top 40s, Mash-Ups, Pop, Hip Hop and Throwbacks. She had me dancing ALL night! *FIST PUMP* C R O W D *Rowdy Frat boys, Napoleon Dynamite look-alikes, Eminem Wannabe's and The Situations "In-Training" doing the robot, leg windmills and slow dancing with imaginary mannequins. Sorry, but I've never seen such HORRIBLE dancing in my life. :X A M B I A N C E / D É C O R *Divey and unpretentious *Pool Table *Flat Screen TVs *About 7-8 tables *Platform for dancing *EXTREMELY PACKED! Except to shove your way through. R E S T R O O M S *2 Stalls (My friend said it's dirty so I held it in till we went to Fizzee's up the block.) P A R K I N G Street parking can be difficult. There's also tons of 5-O's in the area because of the police station a block away, so take MUNI or a cab. Abbey's Tavern is normally NOT my scene but the music was crackin' and the drinks were dirt cheap so I have to give them 4 STARS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT? When a bloody fight broke out outside of Abbey's and 5 cop cars showed up within minutes with a HAWT Asian Cop sitting in one of the cars. Gotta love men in uniform!

Yelp
Glad this place isn't popular because we got a table to watch the Giants beat the Phillies! World Series, baby!! I love Timmy Lincecum! Oh a review...cheap beer pitchers. No table service. Lots of screens to watch the game. Big plus - can bring in own food.
google avatar

Nik B.

Yelp
Carded on my 37th birthday. Woman behind the counter was unbelievably rude. Another dude came to check on me later. Was here by myself for my bday, trying to watch the Warriors game. They don't give a flying fuck about you. Go anywhere else. I won't be back to this shithole.
google avatar

Pranav B.

Yelp
Came here Saturday morning to watch the Premier League fixtures. I was surprised to only see a handful of people viewing the games. From talking to the regulars here, it seems like they attract more of a crowd for Giants/ Warriors games as compared to soccer. The servers were nice and the beer was the standard fare of Guinness/Anchor/Sierra Nevada... I would recommend this bar if you`re planning to head to Golden Gate Park since its close and in case Kezar gets crowded.
google avatar

Yelp
Man this place is weird dump. They don't serve food but allow you to bring your own. Now this is as good as it gets for this place. Filthy washroom (no soap no paper towels) Beer is cheap and I guess it caters to certain crowd. We were there for UFC 129 they had a 15$ cover!!!! and guess what no place to sit. smaller screens are ok but the big screen is washed out as there is too much light coming in. Very strange mix of people. I guess the cheap beer will lure some ppl but I guess I am not one of em.

Yelp
Came here last Saturday night after trying to get away from the crowd at 3910 because we were convinced by the friendly security guard in front. Pretty empty and spacious bar with a lower level and a slightly higher level with a pool table, two dart boards and a broken fooseball. Normally I love going to these types of bars with activities like pool and dart boards but the bartender really needs some changing. My boyfriend exchanged 3 dollar bills for quarters but when we walked to the pool table, he realized that the bartender only gave him $2 worth of quarters so he went back to the bar to let her know. She gave attitude and proceeded to open the cash register, ruffled the dollar bills and said she was pretty sure he only gave 2 dollars. Although she ended up giving that dollar worth of quarters back, the attitude was unnecessary. Service does mean a lot.. especially at such an empty bar like that on a Saturday night. I probably will not be coming back. I can see so much potential at this bar, but unfortunately we didn't have such a great experience here. PS This bar should also consider getting more darts since there's only enough darts for one of the two dart boards at the bar.

Yelp
Went to visit the Kid in Berkeley...The Abbey is somewhat famous among world-wide Glasgow Celtic/Liverpool fans and we were not disappointed...Very Celtic/Scouser oriented, so everyone "got" what we were talking about. Great, old-world service and a wonderful, malty Saturday afternoon in congenial surroundings...Only regret is that I forgot to purchase the official Celtic polo shirt...On the way back to Berkeley, had to "strain the potatoes" three times! The hallmark of a classic pub! One important caveat: In no way, in no words, indicate even a mild approval of Manchester Utd! This may jeopardize your life-span. (I heard Wayne Rooney referred to as "Shrek" for the first time in the Abbey!)
google avatar

Gloria H.

Yelp
3.5 stars - came in because Timmy was pitching and we did not have time to make it home to watch the game. There was a large group there for some celebration - having a good time, with boxes of pizzas from nearby and a few dogs on leash. We grabbed two seats at the corner with direct view of one of the many tvs. Bartenders were Irish and nice. Drafts were served in cold glasses from the fridge. Best part of the visit - Timmy pitched a great game and the Giants won! On a Saturday night, they got quite crowded with groups coming in.
google avatar

Yee W.

Yelp
Came here on NYE to celebrate. The place was a cool chill bar. Environment was friendly. The crowd we met was nice. There was a pool table & foosball table, tv's all around. It was nice and clean. Can't say much about the drinks or staff since I didn't order anything. Not sure about the prices either.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the real thing if you like Irish bars (and I do)! Excellent music. I especially like to go there when The Feral Moon Band is playing as they really rock the house. Guest (luminary) musicians sit in, and they interact well with the crowd. Even traditional sing-alongs. Excellent Bass beer on tap.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place on fight night! Haven't been more than once during normal nights, but this is the go-to inner Richmond bar to watch fights. They always have the full card and a packed house. Full of friendly and knowledgeable fans. Have also experienced some fun after-fight parties there too. I guess I wish they were a little better staffed at the bar, as they get swamped during a big fight with one or two staff, but considering everything, they always turn around drinks quickly.
google avatar

Yelp
ONCE UPON A YEARS AGO... (i believe this is the place) I came here when someone rented this place out for a night to throw their event. I was with this guy and his sister was all about these underground scenes you can only go if you were invited. I came here for my first time because of the invite. This dive-bar turned into a little fashion show/activist movement night. The scene was cool. The drinks was strong. All i remember was running out of the bar, drunk, emotional, and my friends chased me down and found me a few blocks away sitting on someones doorsteps crying. I guess the drinks did its job. LOL
google avatar

Peter T.

Yelp
They recently remodeled the upper area which is a host to nice restrooms, a pool table, and a dart board. The lower portion of the bar is a few bar tables accompanied by a medium sized area which people dance on. The clientele seem a bit out of my element, but Abbey tavern has never shown me a poor experience. [ + ] Something for everyone. Dance floor, semi-dive bar, pool, darts, and soccer! [ - ] Service may sag sometimes, but to their credit - they are pretty busy. Prices seem to be a bit sharp compared to the bitter end and alike bars just 1 block away.
google avatar

Alexander Y.

Yelp
I only write about my experience here as I watched a UFC PPV here pretty recently. There's a small cover charge, but that's to be expected for any establishment putting a PPV up. Literally everywhere you turn there's either a TV or a projection screen, so can't complain about being in a crappy spot. It does get pretty packed though, but it comes with the territory I suppose. Plus the best part is that because they don't serve food, you can bring in your own food as well!
google avatar

Taylor H.

Yelp
They have EPL, La Liga, and Champions League games on! What more can you ask for. The place doesn't smell like a bar.. which is a relief at 7am while watching Man United beat Liverpool :P
google avatar

Manny F.

Yelp
What's to like about this place? This is a bar, not a nightclub. People go to bars to talk and not to listen to music. When I came here the music was too loud to comfortably have a conversation and therefore this place fails at the basic level as a bar. I seem to remember the beers being $5 a pint so they were about %25 too expensive for the location and venue. The bartender was fairly unfriendly. They have a sign outside advertising Czechvar but when I asked for it the guy looked at me like I was insane. Since the place was nearly empty on a Saturday night I don't think I'm the only person that doesn't like it. I don't see any set of circumstances that would lead to me returning.
google avatar

Yelp
We walk into the bar on a Wednesday night because friends were in town. The bouncer is too busy trying to hit on my friend and does not check our ID"s. We walk in and the girls are on their way to the bathroom when the bartender starts yelling telling us to show him our ID's. We listen and he comes up with some ridiculous unnecessary comments. My friend's ID is from Hawaii and he didn't take it. Is he so stupid or just ignorant? There are tons of people that go there from USF and it just so happens that many of them are from Hawaii. Anyways on to the next ID, he looks at the picture, and tells my friend, "there's no way you weigh this much." Then a drunk man yells at us and laughs because he thinks we are using fake ID's. That just did it for us. It's not our fault that stupid kids try using fake ID's and that the bartender is too busy looking at the weight as opposed to the information. The funny part is that when I was a student at USF and went to Abbey, I would see all of the underage people taking drinks like it was water. We walked straight out of there and I will never go back to have an ignorant bartender disrespect us. If I could give this place negative stars, I would.
google avatar

Ryan R.

Yelp
I'm getting old for this shirt. At the 30, i need to reevaluate the term "Crackin!' Crackin doesnt mean to over crowd the place to full capacity so i can rub my junk against another guy just to walk to the bar. Crackin doesnt mean to have a guy/girl ratio of 80/20 I guess i could have expected it if i knew it was college night on thurs. So i guess i would expect to see: -Really loud music and turning the tavern into a club. -girls so drunk that its unattractive - the same drunk girls freak dancing against you cause there is no room to dance. - college guys wanting to share a bromance with each other. - and probably alot of things will happen that you will regret the next morning. its a triple threat: club, tavern, and a really young crowd. its up to you if you find that "Crackin!"
google avatar

Kate V.

Yelp
Oh, Abbey's. Where boys with fake IDs used to buy me $2 bud lites on Thursday evenings. *Sigh*, to be young again... But a couple of years make all the difference. Even though I've recently moved a block away, the thought of coming here for any other reason besides refusing to start on a 10-page paper due in a few days and/or making out with your ex-boyfriend/current boyfriend/on again off again boyfriend seem hardly worth it. I'd like to think I've grown up a LITTLE since college. The Abbey, however, despite its "massive" renovations a few months ago looks exactly the same as it always did whenever I pass by. Sorry, but not even a shiny new set of floors, a few more plasma screens, or all the sparkly refurbished bar countertops in the world could transform you, Abbey's. Face it--some things, no matter how hard you try, never change. I, on the other hand, have come a long way. I pay for my own cheap beer now, thank you very much.
google avatar

June F.

Yelp
Came here around 11:30pm and the place looked trashed. Not sure if there was only one guy working, but the upstairs area was a mess. Glasses and trash at every table, so there wasn't really anywhere to sit upstairs. Other than that, it's a chill bar. They had an open mic or maybe it was just some locals performing, idk, but it was pretty cool. It was dope cause they had $7 Irish Flu Shots and if you know me, I love Jamey! A couple of those and you'll be on a great level.
google avatar

Yelp
Let's hear it for real pubs with pub ambitions! that's what the Abbey tavern is to me and that's why when I'm stumblin' through the Richmond like a lost, sports fiend with a yen for beer and whiskey I wind up here. ME: bartender . . . bartender . . . bartender . . . bartender . . . BARTENDER: WHAT! ME: More of whatever I ordered, I can't remember. BARTENDER: (blank stare and turns to a cute brunette who won't tip as well as I do) ME: Fuck it (exit)
google avatar

Junel S.

Yelp
The bartender is rude, discriminatory, and unprofessional. Let me tell you the story. So me & my two friends walk into this bar on a Wednesday night, there is no one at the door checking IDs. We head to the bathroom, when all of a sudden we hear "HEY HEY HEY!!!" in a loud and rude tone. We turn around and see that it's the bartender. He asks to see our IDs. We politely show them to him. After he hesitates over my friend's ID because she happened to have lost a lot of weight since her picture, he looks at mine for a second and says "No, I can't take this." My ID is a valid Hawaii state-issued ID and for some reason, he didn't believe it was real. I asked him why, all he said was "Nope, sorry can't take it." Then he kicked us out after all the people at the bar started chiming in and laughing at us, falsely accusing us of having fakes. We are all 22 years old, and this bartender didn't give a damn. It was the worst experience I had with a bartender and I will never be returning. He discriminates against people for looking young, regardless of them having a VALID ID! Don't waste your time at this bar - the workers and people are incompetent & rude. Go to Ireland's or Buckshot. They are a lot better.

Yelp
We go to Abbey Tavern on Thursday nights for the fun crowd, stiff, cheap drinks and great music. Came here last night with a gf, the BF, his younger brother and some other friends. Drinks were super strong and cheap, 2 beers and a rum and coke made me wanna dance all night long to the music of the awesome dj they had last night. The BF woke up this morning STILL DRUNK. A good night, indeed!

Sultan E.

Yelp
Came to the Abbey because they advertised on their website that they were showing a boxing match with NO cover charge. When I got to the bar, the owner tried to charge me a cover. I explained that their website says "No Cover" for the boxing match. I went onto the website on my phone and showed him that is states "No Cover" charge. The owner shrugged his shoulders and said there are mistakes on the website and continued to charge me for entry. Lesson Learned: I will never go or recommend anyone else to go to the Abbey The Abbey is a business that does not honor their own statements The Abbey uses false advertising to get people to come to the bar
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for the World Cup Final with my roommates. Place was pretty packed but they had projectors with the game on on every wall possible. That was cool. Carlsberg was $3 for the "beer of the month"...that was cool. Spain won. It was cool. This experience was pretty cool, may there be more to come.

Yelp
This review needs to be broken into two sections. DAYTIME- Come here in the daytime and you will find a large screen TV and many other small ones displaying the latest and greatest soccer game (or some other random sport). You can grab a good beer or strong/cheap drink, mingle with the guys who's asses may very well be planted to the bar stools. There's one crappy pool table with walls a little too tight to make a great shot and random games in the back. Bathrooms are fairly clean, place smells like an Irish pub should (old stale beer). Sometimes there's food, but I recommend getting pizza nearby if you're hungry for something edible. NIGHTTIME - This place is a whole different scene when the sun goes down. The regulars stumble off their stools and either pass out so they wake up at 6am to do it again the next day or move to another pub (like Fizzee's) where they won't be bombarded by 18 year old drunkards. Dancing is always fantastic here. My bouncer always knows he's gonna get a great show as soon as I walk in. I was a regular on the dance floor for many years until the 18 year olds started annoying me too much. Now and then I still travel back for a great workout. I absolutely LOVE to dance and am usually 'that girl' who's dancing by herself and singing along to every song that comes on. If you see me here, I will challenge you to a dance off and I will win. My friends have started limiting my time here because I don't they can keep up. Dancing here is definitely on my happy list. DJs are either extremely nice or extremely rude. They DO take requests even if they sometimes tell you they don't. Jaegger-Bombs are my drink of choice from this bar. Their drinks are always strong and pretty cheap. Things to watch out for: -Fake Irish Accent Boys (they do it to get chicks, don't be one of the stupid ones who falls for it) -The crazy of the night. Don't get stuck in a convo/ dance-off with them. But, do watch and humor yourself as I guarantee you the crazy of the night is always entertaining. -Jailbait - He/she may look 21, but beware.. it's possible they are 16 and I doubt Daddy allows one night standers in. **The only reason this place doesn't 5 stars is for the lack of other normal people here.
google avatar

Yelp
It can be a bro scene, a sausage congested bro scene. And I'm assuming most of the people who come here are either got dragged in because their friend's hanging out here, too lazy to get out of Richmond, newly SF residents who previously resided in a suburb or just from out of town specifically from a suburb/foreign country. And when I say suburban, we're talking about Fresno like. You know, those bros you see walking around SOMA whenever there's a ball game at AT&T and you know that for shit because they're causing 75% of the traffic since they don't know how to drive around SF. Or those bros you see hanging out in the Marina. I'm won't be surprised if I get shit for this review. Anything else, drinks are priced decently with good alcohol ratio. But they play hip hop music sometimes for fuck sake's. If you are a into that scene, then go here.
google avatar

Joan T.

Yelp
Local bar conveniently located on Geary. I must be really wanting a drink because all I can think about is reviewing bars. Anyways, Abbey Tavern is a really chill place to hang to catch up with some friends. I especially like Thursday night! They have a great DJ playing some music from the 90s~. Yes!! Everything gets a plus one when they have good music playing. It sucks it's only on Thursday night... I think I went on a Saturday night and they had a local band. It's great they support their locals! Speaking of which. They hang a lot of sports banners. Mostly bay area, you know. Represent. It's actually pretty cool to look at all the ones they have. Plus they always play the games on their TVs. So great place to grab a drink and watch a game. Make sure you have your ID ready as you walk in the door. They always have someone checking as you walk in. They have I think a $15 minimum for cards. So make sure you have some cash unless you're gonna spend more than that. Their drinks are pretty reasonable price. And they got weekly/monthly specials on certain beers. So check it out. They have two pool tables and booths as you walk further back. Bar stools as you initially walk in. I'll be sure to drop by Abbey Tavern if I'm ever out for drinks in the area. (:
google avatar

Tyler P.

Yelp
If you're looking for a place to get a drink and watch the sports, you've come to the right place. Solid prices and a good community of locals will make you want to come back to this simple bar.

Yelp
Came here on St. Patrick's Day [really bad idea, in hindsight] and was nearly crushed by the hoards of Marina / Nob Hill / North Beach bros who decided to slum it out in the Richmond in the sake of getting bloody wasted. My female friend and I didn't even bother braving the crush to get to the bar so we ventured outside, and her boyfriend found us and brought us vodka Red Bulls outside which we managed to kill without the nearby cops seeing us. Maybe on a non-drunk kids holiday? Perhaps.
google avatar

Gary T.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night to watch some UFC action! Guess I'd label it your "typical" SF Irish bar w/all the interior accoutrements and wall ephemera. They do have a good selection of UK brews on draught, along with some Carlsberg. The bartenders are cool and quick on their service. Probably one of the better places in the city to watch UFC and get bent at the same time. Too bad Chuck Liddell lost. :-(

03.17.10 St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl - stop three. Wait, is this a dance club or a tavern? I think the former, with the latter as a front. There was a cute boy with a hello kitty t shirt that night! Extra star for fun patrons.

Yelp
A good little college kid bar, lots of USF hotties hang out here on certain nights. Gramps owned and operated the pool table and games here for a long time.

Yelp
Me and my friend were looking for a place to grab a beer and chill after our late night dinner. We walked in because it was crowded and it looked like people were having fun. The doorman/bouncer spent too much time flirting with this kid with a fake ID. (He should have told him to gtfo and let other customers in). I went up to the bar and tried to order a couple drinks for me and my friend. Keep in the mind the place was packed. I stood waiting for 10 minutes for a drink before I said *Screw this*. Me and my friend left without ordering anything. Thanks for wasting our time. It might have been on a Monday, I remember seeing a $1 a beer sign outside. This is the first time I've ever given up on ordering a drink. I've been to packed clubs and after waiting a long time I can get my order in. Nope, not this place. I felt like the bartenders were purposely not making eye contact with me. And I'm a big guy. 6'2'' 225lbs. A little hard to miss, even in a packed crowd.
