The Adams Pub

I'm surprised that after 6 years living 5 minutes away from this place, I've never heard of it. If you are looking for a decent place with friendly service and a nice (outdoor) atmosphere, this is it. We went in on a Saturday evening and I'm surprised it wasn't crowded. They have 2 outdoor decks right on the edge of the Neponset River. This gives a spectacular view of the evening sky and makes for a calm and relaxing dinner environment. Our waiter, Al (or maybe Val), was helpful and attentive. She seemed to be the only one tending to the guests, but managed to stay on top of everything with no time wasted. I would say that the prices are a bit on the high end for pub food, but what isn't expensive nowadays anyway. Overall the steak tips were well seasoned and cooked to order, though the mash potatoes were gummy and flavorless on both mine and the wife's dish. The grilled chicken nachos were delicious, but make sure to share this appetizer because honestly it is a meal of its own. The baby was happy with her chicken fingers and fries. I will very likely return as long as we have nice weather to enjoy the outdoor setting. I didn't sit inside, but t looked too stuffy and dark for my taste.

Absolutely beautiful pub. I had a very nice bowl of clam chowder and some seafood pasta. Amazing food.

ate on the deck. it was glorious. the weather for early October was amazing. little disappointed that the colors hadn't changed yet, but that's climate change. not anything the restaurant could deal with it. I have at the steak tips medium rare they were cooked to perfection. the asparagus was crisp. the mashed potatoes were glorious and the apothec red wine was wonderful. I may have had a little too much

The restaurant was clean and in the hotel. The haddock fish had no seasoning but the fries were good. The lobster was ok it was cold preferred it hot or warm. The waitress was friendly and attentive. She was the only one but once it got busy the service slacked off.

Al is wonderful. She is thoughtful, have a uplifting personality and treats everyone as number one. She is hard working and we love seeing her. We say we have to go and see Al, we know we will feel special and have a good time. The food is excellent especially the lemon pepper wings we order that all the time. Everyone is great. Thank you all for your wonderful services.

I was staying in Adams Inn so it was convenient to eat at Adams Pub. I ordered take out which was easy to do online. Pick up was very easy on a table outside of the pub. The first time I ordered in the pub. It had a nice local pub feel. I saw two people doing everything from bartender, serving, taking payment and bussing so it was hard to get the attention of a server to make a takeout order. Once I did it went smoothly. For being so busy, the server was very pleasant and efficiently took my order and payment. The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was prepared well. The portions were generous.

With nice weather, I assume the outdoor seating by the water will be busier. It can seem very peaceful and magical at sunset. The service was fine, but servers did not seem as available as they could have been. The calamari app was typical. The prime rib was not bad, but was not served to order. Rare was ordered, but order was closer to medium. The scallops with risotto was disappointing. The scallops were perfectly cooked and flavorful, but the risotto was bland and did not taste rich or smooth. I would go back and try other fare as I have had some better food experiences closer to four stars from here before.

BEER GARDEN 06/2020. Visited this outdoor location because the pour house was not open due to covid phase openings. Never visited the Adams pub inside. I LOVED the outdoor seating for the beer garden. Great for social distancing and not very crowded. The views are perfect at sunset. The beers from the pour house were delicious I recommend the peanut butter stout. They also had contactless ordering which was great ! Typical bar food but it was simple and good.

Our landlord booked us this hotel while electricians were doing work. The Adams Pub is a shining star. It's made shitty days a whole lot better. The chicken tenders and bone-in wings were so freaking crispy. Waffle fries, mozzarella sticks, and the mediterranean platter were the go to starters/sides. The Marty wrap, cobb salad, and chicken broccoli penne were solid choices as well. THEN when you need a nice cold delicious beer you walk right onto the upper deck and you'll find waitress Al being absolutely amazing. Say what you like and she'll find the right match! The sunset over the channel is the cherry on top. (and if you want to eat your dessert - cheesecake and chocolate lava cake )

This was a pretty solid restaurant and pub at our hotel. It seems others stopped in for dinner or drinks who were locals. It was convenient for us to stop in since it was just downstairs. Online searches seemed to think this restaurant was closed on Monday/Tuesday's but when I asked at the front desk they told me it was open everyday. Our waitress also was working behind the bar so we was multitasking pretty heavily, but she did a pretty good job. Food was good- my husband got fish and chips. I got steak medallians with a small caeser salad and mashed potatoes. We enjoyed all of it. Our only negative was that we were getting bit by gnats CONSTANTLY while eating on the deck outside around 6pm on a June night.

Great Pub. Outdoor seating along the river. Prime Rib to Lobster Rolls. Burgers to Fried Clams. Staff is awesome, see Al and ask for something with rum. You won't regret it .

Okay pub food. The chicken avocado sandwich came with blue cheese which was a bit of a weird combo. Chicken was a bit dry but it could be because we got it to go and had to wait awhile to eat it at home. Wife enjoyed the cobb salad which was huge. Prices weren't bad for the portion size but this place is probably better experienced dining in vs. takeout.

We tried this place a year and a half ago when we were doing renovations and had to stay at the hotel it attached to! Stumbled into one late afternoon browsed the menu and at the behest of staff working there tried out the ribs and the wings! It was so good I went back there everyday when I got out work! From the burgers to the fish and chips to the carrot cake and Boston cream pie nothing but certified hits! In the summer I believe they open up the patio for a cool vibe! Gotta make this a regular especially late spring-early fall!

I'm 18 years old I was up here for work. I wanted to grab a bite in the hotel restaurant. Everyone ignored me and when i begged for a table outside they set me at the old bar outside. Waited 30 minutes thinking i would atleast get some food even though I was really disappointed by the seating they put me in. Never did one server come up to me. I'm very disappointed I was treated like a broke 18 year old kid at a older persons restaurant, I could have bought the whole menu I was planning on tipping extremely well depending on my service read a bunch of reviews about how good the food is. I repeat if you are here for work and you are young DO NOT COME HERE. When I was asking for a table i'm wearing a tshirt that cost 450$ I dressed the part expected the best treatment instead I got treated like a low life broke person. NEVER COME HERE

Excellent service from Al. She was the star of the show. I got wings my friend got fish and chips. All food was great, drinks were good and the service is excellent. Worth stopping in for a meal and a drink. There is outside seating right on the river too and a nice walk to a gazebo.

I got takeout, my order was ready on time and had everything I needed. Their cobb salad was awesome. Definitely worth the $10.

This bar is my hidden gem because of their outstanding bartender, Al. She is warm, welcoming, and cool under pressure. The first time I met her, she was crazy busy, yet she maintained a great attitude. Al seemed to be everywhere at once but still made everyone feel welcome. She is the sole reason why I come here to hang out, enjoy good beer, great customer service, and solid food. If you're looking for excellent service in a relaxed environment, I highly recommend this place.

Well, ordered the 1/2 soup/ sandwich and should have just ordered the soup without the sandwich. The 1/2 blt sandwich was so pitiful looking. Bread was toasted but stale, as it sitting for some time. Mind you, I was sitting at the lobby waiting for my food, so it's not like it was sitting for a while. The clam chowder was good tho.

My absolute fave local bar for the past 6 years, the menu is ever evolving, and the bartender AL can't be beat. Fast efficient and always a damn good time. If you're ever in on a Wednesday, ask for AL and she will make sure you are taken care of.

I stayed at the Best Western hotel attached to Adams Pub and after walking for hours around Faneuil Hall and Little Italy I was looking for a glass of wine and a snack. I saw a few other orders of fish n chips being served and I was sold! The fish was piping hot, crispy and perfectly cooked inside served with tartar sauce but I prefer lemon and malt vinegar. Delicious and highly recommended Service was great Make note you can't charge food and/or drinks to your room.

Service is always friendly and food is good pub grub. Great place to stay, when flying out of Boston . Less haste then trying to drive to the airport with traffic.

Best chowder in town! The fish sandwich is good too! Small inside, but will try again on the summer when we can sit outside. Amazing view of the ocean! The service is consistently cheerful and quick. Really love this place. A hidden gem!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday celebration weekend in Boston. He was born on St. Paddy's Day so naturally, he had to order the boiled dinner. It was very good. Juicy meat, well cooked carrots and Brussels sprouts and potatoes with just enough bite too. Served in the liquid which was flavored so well. I, a vegetarian, ordered the veggie burger and sweet potato fries. Some veggie burgers are bland or overly seasoned-this was a perfect balance! The spicy mayo was delicious and the fries were crispy and delicious. We'll definitely be back!

This place is a gem except... if you order on any delivery service they do not read the notes. If you have an allergy or want a small change forget it. One might say oh, call them, well they don't answer their phone. The food is good pub food......It's a shame.

This place was actually pretty good! It located inside the Best Western Adams Inn, where we stayed for the first night of our honeymoon, and right on the river. We had a glass of red wine that was good, my husband had the "Cape Codder" sandwich and I had the "North Ender" sandwich. Both were actually delicious! Rated 4 stars because the fries were okay and I'm a pretty tough fry critic.

Good food, reasonable prices and great outdoor dining during nice weather. Definitely a hidden gem.

LONG TIME CUSTOMER! Literally get the Marty Wrap 1-2x a week. Stopped ordering on Uber eats though because there is no option to add a side of honey mustard and it's a MUST. Please add it back and you'll get your customer back.

I had arrived at the hotel that day and didn't feel like paying for a ride into the city for dinner so I dined in at Adams Pub. The prices aren't too bad and food was about average. I was disappointed that they advertised lobster on the wall in the hallway of the hotel but didn't offer it on the menu. I would recommend taking the signs down if they no longer have it.

The Girl bartender does way to much talking, she's not paying attention to what's needed at the bar. She's either talking with another staff member or a customer, mean while people are waiting for drinks/food, keno. It's very annoying! No matter how good the food is, the bartenders are there to work not talk. When she is there, I won't be...

I think this restaurant is one of the hidden gems of Quincy. It is tucked away in the hotel. The food is great. Down home New England cooking with some flare. They offer outside seating for the nicer months.

The place is fantastic. I started going because I was staying in the hotel and didn't really have any other options. Here's a breakdown: - Alcohol: good selection of whiskeys and the drink specials are always fun. Drinks are cheap and beers are cheaper. Combined with the fact you get an open air deck on the water facing Boston, they could charge at least twice what they do now. The mixed drinks are usually very well made (aka not weak and taste right). -Staff: as I've said before on Yelp - you cannot judge a place when it is slammed and that is what I think a lot of the other reviewers have done since this place is packed during the summer. Like I described, I usually come to stay for business and in the winter time, the deck is completely empty, the bar is half-full and you have time to enjoy the place. In the summer, this place is packed - even with additional staff. If you really don't like the service, I would suggest coming on an off-night (Thursday 4pm on the deck) and get to know how the place runs before judging - I'm sure you'll find what I find - a staff that is friendly, helpful, and enjoys a nice meal and drink as much as you. - Food: this place is great if you're looking for a steak/lobster/dinner or a small sandwich with the best clam chowder in Quincy. I usually get the Marty wrap - or their chicken tenders (I know it's simple, but some of the best). -Place: cannot beat the deck and the view of the water - you don't have many options on the South Shore, and especially in quincy (good luck finding a beer for under 5 bucks in Marina Bay). Unfortunately, as I said, it can be busy, but if you're looking for a nice cold beer, awesome sun deck, with food and don't want to deal with the Boston riff raff, come here.

On a recent tour of New England, me and my bf stayed at the Adams Inn for a couple of days as a base camp. So glad we did!! What a wonderful gem we found. The hotel, staff and accommodations were wonderful and perfect for what we wanted. But the best surprise was the Adams Pub. Super cozy friendly little pub with bartender, Kevin, who was super friendly and engaging local guy. But this review is for the AMAZING clam bake dinner. I can honestly say, this was the best lobster I had during my stay in MA. Think I'm cray-cray??? Just check out the tank of live lobsta they have in the kitchen. These babies are FRESH! And, boy did we ever get suckered by a couple of restaurants with FROZEN lobster during our trip. I was so pissed one time in Maine of all places we got sucker punched with a $70 lobster lunch that completely sucked and consisted of soggy, chewy, mediocre lobster. At the Adams Pub we ordered a Clam Bake for 2. This incredible deal included 4 lobster, tons of mussels and clams, bratwurst, cornbread and a huge pitcher of beer - Sam Adams of course. All for $59!!! Yes, you read that right. So do yourself a favor and visit the Adams Pub. I'm jealous of anyone who lives within driving distance. I will miss you until next time!

Ok, this is a restaurant in a hotel, and at first I was a bit worried about the quality of the food. After walking around and not seeing much in the local area, I decided to call it a night and go back to the hotel for dinner. I browsed the menu and there were several delicious choices to choose from. I went with the fish sliders, and man.. they were delicious!!! They were so light and much different than eating fish in Ohio!! :) Usually I don't eat dessert, but there was a chocolate cake type thing on the menu that I had to try. I tell you what... that piece of cake was one the best things I have ever eaten IN MY LIFE. It was so tasty and the texture was like a fudgy brownie. WOW!!! I want to go back just to order a plate full of that stuff. NOM!! I went for breakfast the next morning (complimentary) and it was ok. Nothing to write home about, but give it a shot for lunch or dinner. It may just surprise you!!!

Came in during a snow-storm and the chef was running late. The head manager, Jen, asked us what we wanted to eat and took it upon herself to fire up the grill and make our lunch herself. This type of service, going above and beyond the job description, is what keeps me coming back to the Adams Pub. Truly amazing the dedication she has to her job. 10/10 would recommend.

As with most people, I chose the Adams Pub because it was in the hotel and convenient. I was Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the clam chowder. I had a tuna salad sandwich to go with the chowder, and a Boston creme pie for dessert. Everything was reasonably priced, and the ambiance was nice. I bet the outdoor deck overlooking the Neponset river is great in the summer, but in March it was closed. The waitstaff was a little brisk, but not unusual for many places I've been in Boston. So overall: adequate, but not outstanding. And pretty darn good for a hotel restaurant.

Was staying here a night in business and decided to try it out. This one is good. I ordered the clam chowder - flavorful and good amount of clams but the broth was a little weak. On the other hand, I ordered the lobster dinner and was not disappointed (see picture - only $25!). Delicious and very fresh whole lobster done just right with rice and broccoli (would have liked to have the cornbread but was informed they were out so ordered garlic bread instead - mistake . . . soggy). It was 8:00 on a Tues evening so not busy. Service (waitress Justine) was friendly and attentive. Decor is a little downscale but good hearty food when in need at the hotel.

Sad. Just sad. We have eaten here many, many, many times. Is new ownership to blame, I don't know. The portions have gotten ridiculously small. 6 tiny scallops for 18.99? They don't even come with a starch like potatoes or rice. They come with a side of string beans or broccoli. Ugh. My poor husband went to the supermarket for a fresh steak to cook when we got home. My Neponsit burger, which I love, was so small it's not even funny. I've had a bigger burger at Wendy's for a lot less than 11.99. Come on guys. This is appalling. The only plus is the same staff, whom I love. I can't justify 50 bucks for dinner and leaving hungry, and that's without alcohol.

We were staying at the hotel and decided to try their pub since it was so convenient. We actually went a couple times, not because we were in love with the place, but because we were too tired to go back to Boston for dinner. The restaurant is small, nice pub atmosphere with a big deck overlooking the water(it was unfortunately too cold to enjoy it when we visited). You have to be 21 to go on the deck, I wonder why. The food was OK, but service ridiculously slow. The first time we visited, the place was very busy, mostly with clients at the bar. By the time we got our food (it took about an hour), most tables were empty. The second time we went, only one other table was occupied and still the same wait to get our food. I have the feeling our waiter was to blame for the wait, since he would tell us he'd be right back and we'd still be waiting if we had not reminded him to bring us drinks, or dessert menu or whatever else...

Don't ever try to order take out from here. You have a better chance of seeing Jesus than you do getting a take out order of steak tips.

Dear Mgr at Adams Inn/Best Western: I wanted to alert you to an issue I had last night at your Adams Pub. Not many people take action these days, whether it be due to lack of motivation, not enough time in their day or they feel whatever they say doesn't matter. However, I believe in the power of the pen (or the laptop : ) And one of the reasons I am writing to you is that frankly, it would be a shame to see your establishment lose business over something that can probably be easily rectified. I decided to post an online review of your establishment, and judging from other recent online reviews in the past couple of months, I noticed a pattern in them, and wonder if it is becoming a growing problem. It's really not a complaint about the food, however, it's really more the lack of service. This most recent visit was my third time into the Adams Pub. The first 2 times I had been before, service was adequate and pleasant enough. I had dinner the first time, and cocktails with some friends the second time. Last night, I was with my partner to have dinner, and waited for a hostess to see if we could sit somewhere outside on your deck, which is a great draw. We were told "Yeah sit anywhere you want". Fine, no problem. As you are aware, the whole deck is an open space. Further left are 3 tables, positioned slightly away from all the other tables in the center of the deck , but still within clear vision and only about 10 or so feet from the center where the rest of the tables are. We decided to sit there as both of us could sit facing each other without one of us looking directly into the sun. Two of these tables at the further left were already taken. We chose the third. After about five min. of us sitting down clock by, one of the two ladies at the table next to us got up to see if there was a server around as they had been sitting there for a bit. Shortly after, the first lady had come back to tell the second lady "Let's go" and sat inside instead. Another seven minutes clock by (12 min. so far after sitting down, and I only knew because I checked my clock on my phone as I had first sat down), and a server came over, clearly harried, grabbed the other two menus at the other occupied table (since they were done looking at them) and gave the menus to us. She took our drink orders and came back with them. Then she said "I'll be back in a few minutes to take your order". 25 min. later (yes, I had timed it at this point after those first 12 min. as I was quickly losing confidence) there was no sign of her. So we got up to leave, because nothing was truly jumping out at me that made it worth the wait any longer. Then she was coming out and I simply told her "we've had a change of plans", as we carried our empty drink glasses back, because I imagine if we hadn't, they'd have been left there all night. We got a "sorry, we're short a waitress tonight". In my head, I thought "Well, sorry sweetie...that's really not my problem". (It was busy, but there were still tables available outside) Look, I'm an ultra patient guy when it comes to eating out, and I would never, ever disrespect a server...I never have, and never will (unless they are blatantly rude, and I can't imagine anything like that ever happening). Servers work very, very hard, and I truly respect their position. And I'm not faulting your server. But considering the Adams Inn is a restaurant *and* a hotel, I would imagine you are pretty well versed in the hospitality industry, and I imagine management would know how to handle a situation where they're one server short. But if your management does know how to handle it, it certainly wasn't evident last night. But 37 min., one drink, and no order taken??? Sorry...you just lost a customer. I'm sure you are going to have your "regular" customers, who just go there out of habit and don't care as much about service. However, I had a really disappointing experience last night. Again, I believe in the power of the pen, so if something riles me...good or bad, I'm going to write about my experience about it to either give a place I believe in more business, or warn people that they may want to re-think their night out here because of...And that's going to cause a ripple effect. Who knows...those regular customers, if they experience the same, might reconsider their options as well. No business owner wants that. However, when I saw those other online reviews about waitstaff *and* management attitude (???), I felt I should let you know in case you weren't aware of it (I can't comment on those other reviewers experiences as I wasn't there, but where there's smoke...). It's a local establishment in the area. And I'm prone to go to those. It's a great outdoor deck. But after last night. Eh... Never got a "thank you for your letter" response (that's all I needed). That says it all. If they don't care, why should I? They don't deserve the extra business.

As a Quincy resident, you don't think about eating at a hotel. But I was looking for someplace to eat outside that wasn't Marina Bay, and I found this place on Yelp saying they had a nice deck. The view is absolutely gorgeous of the river. It was fun to watch the trains and cars go over the Neponset River. The wine and beers are reasonably priced. The salad was fresh and enormous and filled me up too much, even having half! The grilled flatbread pizza was just flat-out wonderful. It was so huge I got a dinner (albeit small -that salad!) and two lunches out of it. My husband enjoyed his meat whatever special. My only suggestions would be a few more vegetarian options and also update the menu (the current "winter menu" on line is out of date/it was totally different from the menu we got at the restaurant, though I knew that going in as I called beforehand to make sure there was something a vegetarian could eat). Nice service and clean restrooms. Give it a try, especially on a nice summer night! You will come back for the food, though.

Went here because I live across the street and was craving some fish and chips. It was around 9:30pm when we went and the place was pretty packed but we still got a table right away. Drinks were good but let me tell you about the fish and chips. This may have well been the best fried haddock I've ever had! So white and flaky and juicy as well! It's like the chef new exactly the right time down to the second to cook the haddock. It was amazing!! I'll say it again the haddock was AMAZING. 3 stars only because 1) this portion was beyond disappointing; I was giving 1 small piece that looked like it was for a sandwich, not a dinner entree, and just that 1 piece. It probably weighed 4 oz so I was pretty confused and disappointed for the price of the plate. 2) the 2 guys sitting behind us were so vulgar and inappropriate it made us want to eat and run out the door. Talking about grabbing women's breasts and other objectifying statements that I found extremely inappropriate to be saying at a restaurant especially as loud as he was being. With that no employee felt the same and said nothing to them to be respectful of the other guests. Maybe my fault for not pushing them to. Portions and rude men aside. The haddock is amazing!! Probably will just order to go next time but will go back and recommend to friends!

I cannot believe the lack of customer service here. The waitress and Manager. Our waitress had an attitude from the start. She was unfriendly and huffy from the time we sat down. My wife is pregnant and has food restrictions and my sister has a serious food allergy to red bell peppers. The waitress was immediately irritated that she had to check on ingredients before we could order. We had to follow up with her twice and finally she said "we were all set". (I could tell she had not even bothered to check) I know this may sound as an exaggeration but we arrived at 6PM and did not get our food until 7:45PM, we waited almost two hours. No apology only attitude from the waitress. The restaurant was not even that busy. (it was a Sunday night) Finally we asked to speak to the manager "Janine" she didn't offer an apology but blamed us because we were a large party. She said they don't allow large parties. (8 people) This would have been nice to know before we were seated. I do not consider 8 people a very large party for a Sunday night. Had I known this was an issue all of us would have gone to a nicer venue at marina bay. My burger was overcooked and came with nothing on it. I asked our waitress for some condiments, lettuce and tomato and she told me the burger came plain (the menu does not state that). Finally she was willing to get me lettuce and tomato. I love eating tomato core (sarcasm) how hard it is to core a tomato? My sister's pasta salad ended up having red bell pepper in it which she is highly allergic too (it was such a burden for our cheerful waitress to check on this). The waitress did not comprehend the severity of this either. All of our entrees came out at different times. The manager Janine really could have been more professional from the start and apologetic. Putting the blame on the customer is highly unprofessional. Instead of being happy to accommodate a party of 8 people she kept shifting the blame toward us. If we were two parties of 4 would it have made a difference? Judging from the other frustrated patrons it would not have. Janine really could have done something to remedy this situation but she did not. In the end she mentioned discounting a few items; however she did not and by 8:30 we all wanted to get out of there. Instead now there are 8 local residents who will not return here. Here we are 13 hours later and I am still stewing about this. I have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant.

Seriously, the specials aren't available on the deck. It's not like this is a big place. Okay, the food was decent. The chowder was creamy not chalky. And the lobster was done nicely. But still, the place isn't that big. Inside vs outside shouldn't be an issue. Especially when you're making a killing on (relatively weak) drinks.

Really slow service and overcooked food. There are better options in the area.

Read reviews and thought it may be good, but sadly I was wrong. There were open tables and I waited to be seated by the hostess sign. After waiting I asked a waitress to be seated and was ignored, next I was informed to seat my self by another staff member that just pointed to the deck and then went to talk to another waitress- I was surprised at her arrogance. I saw an open table and went and seated myself, as informed, then I was informed that it was reserved. If you are into mismanagement and surely self important waitress- you will enjoy the view. But if you value service and nice respectable staff find some where else, may be Venice's in Dorchester in Port Norfolk- beautiful view; or Legal Sea Food in Braintree, by the movies; or finally Serios at Marina Bay, in Quincy. All places are managed well and love their customers. Sorry Marriott- just do better!

I've only been once, but the food was delicious and the prices were good. I would go back again. They should really put a menu online

I wouldn't normally bother with hotel restaurants, but a few friends come here often and its a real favorite of theirs. I was definitely pleasantly surprised with our experience. The drinks were strong and tasty, and the food was pretty delicious. The stuffed quahogs in particular were delicious. We weren't up for a huge feast, but we're definitely going to come back for their clam bake dinner for 2: 4 lobsters, mussels, clams, and a bottle of white wine for $65? What a steal. The inside area is a pretty dingy, and the service was on the slow side, but it was pretty busy for a weeknight so I think there just weren't enough waitresses working. We also would have liked to sit outside on the deck, but it had rained a bit earlier and no one had dried off the tables so we didn't bother.

We were contemplating having dinner in Boston and looking for an outdoor space that would be good for a group. So glad we made the quick drive to Quincy instead! There is an indoor as well as an outdoor space. We sat outdoors, watched the sunset while sipping our drinks and having the delicious food. There is also a ramp for strollers and wheelchairs. They were also very sensitive to dietary constraints/allergies. Above all, the service is impeccable. They seem to have a gazebo out in the water too and we could have walked up there but were so comfortable in our lounge chairs watching the sunset, we couldn't move :) Highly recommend.

Excellent food and service! Seaford Alfredo had three large scallops, 5 shrimp and alot of lobster. Sauce was delicious. Parmesan haddock my wife said was excellent.

Im new to the area so tried the Quincy Adams Inn pub for fried clams as recommended by the bar tender. They are awesome!!!! Ive been back 5 times now for the clam roll and clam dinner. They are clean clams, not sandy or gritty. Fresh, batter is light amd not heavy nor greasy. By far my favorite place for fried clams!

Fantastic servers/bartenders ESPECIALLY Karlyn! So friendly and always helpful! The food is great, the specials are new and fresh AND the outdoor patio is to die for! PLUS on Wednesdays they have music at the gazebo!

We've stayed here twice for 5 days but this time the maid service is less than acceptable. We will be staying somewhere else next time we come to Quincy. Yday they didn't clean our room at all but someone took all the towels. Strange...

EXTREMELY disappointed in our first ever clambake - at Best Western Adams Inn Pub in Quincy.... it was one of the things we came to Boston to do, and clearly we should have gone elsewhere. Came without the cornbread that was on the menu - and the steamer(s) that they waitress dropped on the floor on the way over ... no biggie... but what it did not come without was a beach full of sand. I do understand that SOME grit does occasionally find its way into clams/mussels/etc... but to serve a meal where every shell is COATED with sand? Maybe it's that I'm Canadian, eh ...? But surely at least running them under water for a second or two is not just a Canadian thing? In any case, I did mention it to the waitress - her response was to return shortly afterward and - without even acknowledging the complaint - put the bill on the table and walk away. The (free) breakfasts we have had with our hotel stay have been fine; we did enjoy the lobster that came with the clambake; the atmosphere (until you complain and the server doesn't like you any more) is great; love the deck... but would never bother to pay money to eat here again, nor recommend it to anyone else.

Just called the Adams Inn to make a reservation for Father's Day. After being transferred 4 times they finally answered. The women on the phone could not be ruder, all I got was we don't take reservations and hung up. They won't be seeing me any time soon

Please Read, It could mean your family's safety! I went there on a Friday evening with my 3 year old daughter. I figured since mom went out, I did not feel like cooking and the food was good there in the past. We had the Quahog's and Steak Tips with rice pilaf. The Quahogs was good, tasty with big chunks of clams throughout, maybe just a bit too doughy. The Steak Tips was tasty with good amount of marinade. But I think I've had better from there in the past. Too bad they don't have the Prime Rib dinner anymore. The Rice Pilaf was dry and so hard that It could break a tooth. The problem was when I was leaving I had to take my 3 year old daughter to the bathroom after dinner since she drank an O.J. and water. Next to the Men's room there was a handicapped room marked with a female symbol. I did not think it was a poorly marked family room and took my daughter into the men's room. Inside there was an employee cook named Brian(bearded & bald, looking like he's out on parole) washing his hands. I took my daughter into a stall and closed the door. Apparently Brian took serious offence to having a female in the men's room(even a 3 year old?! Probably a baby too!). He yelled at us "Real smart stupid Jerk bringing a girl in to a men's bathroom!!!". I jokingly stated if there was another way, I would. Brian in his all knowing Neanderthal wisdom(My apologies for insulting the Neanderthal) yelled again, "Stupid Jerk!! bringing a girl into the men's room!! Use your head!!". At that point I could see my daughter was getting confused and scared. As a father you try to protect your kids from assholes like this. I responded by telling this idiot to get the hell out!! Brainiac Brian charged up to the stall with a threat "Hey!! I'll Snap your Fucking Neck!!". And as he left I saw him walk right by the manager (Steve Sechy) still yelling "Stupid Jerk!! bringing a girl into the mens room!!!). I was absolutely Incredulous. Where do they hire these people? Does this guy even think before inserting hoof into his mouth. Would it have worked if I took her into the ladies room!? I immediately spoke the manager(Steve Sechy). He discussed it with Brian (probably with stick figures), and said Brian offers his apologies. This is not enough. This animal should not be allowed to interact with the public. I left Emails and phone message to manager Steve Sechy. I got no response at all. As a parent I think this is absolutely in excusable. Inside the stall I really had the impression that he was going to attack us. Can you imagine fighting with this Mental Giant with my 3 year daughter in the stall!!?? This guy is a thug, no more or less. If he is willing put a 3 year old in danger. What is he not willing to do?? Would you trust him with your food? As for Brian, There is a broom at the circus for you.
