The Agave Room

A large and spacious banquet room/dining hall on the second floor of the Rio restaurant. We came here for a wedding reception on a Saturday night. Laid-back, easy atmosphere that accommodated about 150 people very easily and comfortably. Has a bar too, so ready to get drinks and move around. There's also a dance floor area about 15' x 15' complete with a mirror ball.

Our office party at the Agave room was fantastic, and the staff of the Agave room made all the difference. Melissa was such a treat to work with during the planning phase. She made sure I understood my options and was very responsive when we had a huge guest count change. Mel, the event manager, was so on top of things the day of. Our buffet was always full, our drinks were always flowing, and I got the best feedback from all of my guests. Such a great value, and amazing service. We will definitely recommend, and I can't wait to work with them again.

We had our wedding here back in August and it was beautiful. The staff was on top of everything, the food was great, the margaritas were delicious and there were no issues that arose. Melissa is amazing to work with. She was easy to get ahold of for questions, addressed concerns promptly, was so helpful and friendly and made everything so easy. The staff had everything prepared and were one step ahead all night, they came around during the night and asked if my husband needed anything (drinks etc...), they were refilling waters all night and cleaning up. It was the most affordable place we could find and I absolutely loved our experience. Nothing but five stars from us!

I highly recommend The Agave Room if you're hosting a party for 50 - 100. We used The Agave Room for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding rehearsal dinner and it worked out great! We had a lot of out-of-town guests and couldn't ask for a better setting - in the heart of Old Town where they could get a good Choice City experience! The food was good, plentiful, and well organized. The drinks - we used the ticket system so our guests could have margs/beer or non-alcoholic beverages on us and pay cash after that if they wanted more. The music system was pretty streamline and we also had use of the establishment's mic and projector system. All very helpful! Working with Melissa was a dream! (Thanks so much!) Mel and Luke took excellent care of us the "day of." The only snafu we experienced was with the chair lift. There isn't an elevator so be prepared to have your disabled guests use the facility's chair lift. It takes a key to operate it and we had trouble finding the person that had the key. I would recommend having that in place prior to your party starting to avoid any snags with that. Other than that...The Agave Room was the perfect setting to throw a party! I would do it again in a heartbeat! :)

We chose the Agave Room as the location for our wedding reception, and it worked out beautifully. We went through the planning and preparation process with Melissa Peterson, and on the day of our event Melissa Arnotti was a superstar in taking care of us and our guests! She was on top of every detail and worked closely with our day-of person to make sure everything went smoothly. The room is adorable on its own and doesn't need much to elevate it for a party. The bar service and buffet were fantastic, and of course the margaritas didn't disappoint! The sound system worked perfectly which was wonderful, as we were using an ipod and our own playlist throughout. Overall a great experience and I would recommend for anyone looking for a fun and beautiful reception atmosphere!

We rented half the room for a small surprise party. It worked out great! The catered buffet from the Rio was delicious. The staff was great and helpful. The staff set up the tables and chairs while we decorated with balloons and streamers. Then we took down the all the decorations ourselves after the party.
