The Restaurants & Bars Featured On "Love Is Blind," Ranked - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Micah’s longtime friend Shelby celebrates her birthday at The Alibi Room’s Greenwood location. It’s fun to see this place full of people wearing smart casual outfits when it’s typically suitable for eating mid-tier wood-fired pepperoni pizza in pajama pants. It’s also fun to finally see beverages poured in clear glassware for once. Paul puts up with a lot in this scene, and the only thing spicier than the rude comments from Micah’s tipsy pals is The Alibi Room’s mac and cheese." - Kayla Sager Riley, Aimee Rizzo

Alibi Room - Review - Greenwood - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This Greenwood spot comes in handy if you want—on little to no notice—a decent wood-fired pepperoni pie alongside some spicy mac and cheese and a pint of porter before moving on with your life. The pub-like atmosphere makes the dark space pretty accommodating whether you’re wearing nice jeans or sweatpants, and there’s also an entire second floor available for private pizza parties. All in all, Alibi Room is a solid back-up plan if you can’t get into anywhere else on Greenwood Ave." - Aimee Rizzo

I attended happy hour early on a Friday night & was happily surprised with how well the service was. The staff & food were above average. Prices could be a few dollars lower in my opinion but it’s not excessively expensive like some places in Ballard. Ask about their seasonal ingredients — you won’t regret it! Photos: bruschetta appetizer and seasonal fig, goat cheese, prosciutto & honey pizza.

This is a place we have been meaning to go to for awhile. We went here after it first opened and it was real loud and I did not want to go back. But now time has gone by and we decided to go and try it again. It was a much better experience. The restaurants has a commercial fell but it is comfortable. The seating is comfortable but I would have liked the lights to be turned up more. It was a little dark. One thing they do have is a loft you can reserve for private events. The service was good. Our server was friendly and helpful. As for the food, it was good. They mostly have salads and pizza. I made one of there pizza a calzone and it was cooked golden brown and was tasty. Parking can be difficult but after 6pm you can park across the street. All in all, this is a good place to have a drink and a pie.

Have you ever had one of those food experiences where a dish so thoroughly surprises you that you are instantly angry that other people don’t even attempt to do it this way? I like mushroom pizza. It’s not my favorite pizza, but I like it. I don't know why in particular today was a mushroom pizza day, but some part of me knew that The Alibi Room had a way to make a mushroom pizza that would change my life. A change as simple as using a better mushroom than a button mushroom instantly added a phenomenal texture and flavor and I am now enamored with it. Thank you, Alibi Room, for opening my eyes to superior spore pizza!

Same great pizza and wines as the original Alibi Room in the Pike Place Market, but doesn't quite have the same ambiance. Still, it's a local treat for north-siders.

The Bruschetta was great and the pizza was perfect. It was great to finish off with the baked cookie. I'll be coming back. 😊

We had the spicy mac and cheese plus a chop salad and both were really good. The mac and cheese didn't truly taste like a mac and cheese, but absolutely loved it. It was definitely spicy (nothing too crazy) and was very cheesy; highly recommend! The salad was great overall. Serving sizes were good. We didn't order the pizza, but the group that was with us did and they enjoyed it. The aesthetics were nice and it felt warm. Bathrooms were clean. Unfortunately, I didn't take a single picture this time around of the food or location.
