"Tucked behind a wall of books in the lobby, I visited Allegory, Eaton’s dimly lit lobby bar lined with a dark Alice in Wonderland–themed mural that currently offers a short lineup of four $16 cocktails — including the “Kokoro” (sake, rum, sherry, lime cordial, and amazake tincture) and the “2666” (tequila, mezcal, PX, Palo Cortado, creme de cacao, and mole bitters) — plus beers starting at $7 and bottles up to $250; there’s no food, it’s open 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. with a grand opening planned for the end of the month, and it reflects Eaton’s wellness focus by offering a $6 spirit-free SeedLip option." - Tierney Plumb
