Google
Great bar the swing nights are wonderful! Go for the class at eight on sundays. Bartenders are super sweet & bands are great. Has a small cover. They have burlesque shows in the back. I park in front of the new parking sign, I've never been towed.

Google
My first burlesque show for watch The Van Ella Bordella: A story ville burlesque. That was AMAZING !!! Thank you so much for this moment. Truly impress by the women and mostly by Madam Lola Van Ella who do everything perfectly. Definitely will come back ! Guys if you hesitate to take your tickets…Take them, you’ll not regret it !

Annalie Fitzgibbon

Google
You have to see their shows! They are incredibly entertaining, funny, and talented. Very good prices for tickets and for drinks. There's a good pizza place right next store if you need a bite before the show. Exceptional customer service - really appreciate the whole experience.

Google
Absolutely amazing venue! I have gone to 2 burlesque shows here and have only good things to say. Chaotic good time was one of the best shows I've ever been to 👏Excellent service and entertainment! Everyone is welcoming and it is such a fun time! I highly recommend✨️

Google
I treated myself and a bestie to VIP tix to the van ella bordella show and my only complaint is that my face hurts from smiling so much. Confidence is Queen and this cast is ROYALTY! They breathed life onto the stage and we were there for it! I highly recommend catching this burlesque show and supporting this cast. And definitely splurge on the VIP tickets!

Google
Great show, entertaining music to go along, and just fun. Very tasteful! No pressure to tip and drinks were reasonable. Definite recommend.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE THAT ONLY TRUE NEW ORLEANS CULTURE CAN BRING YOU, then this is my TOP recommendation! I wanted to thank Alltheways Lounge and Cabaret for featuring PINKY’S BURNING HELL BURLESQUE! It’s always been a dream of mine to see a burlesque show and boy oh boy did PINKY and all her performers make that a reality! My best friend and I sat front row VIP alongside a bottle of champagne to start our evening off. From the moment PINKY took stage with such force and elegance, I knew we were in for a special treat. Her ability to entertain the crowd made her the perfect host for the evening! Every single one of her performers were top tier and brought something unique to their performance , making them all true masters at their craft. Down to each theme, costume design, and music taste, this show was very well done! You can definitely tell PINKY hand picks some of best performers in ALL of New Orleans and brings them all to you on her stage. I want to give a special shout out to the Miss Velet Spade for your mind blowing Audioslave performance 😍 I also wanna highlight Salem from Hell’s Metallica performance which replays constantly in my head! The staff and over all atmosphere was very welcoming! The secret little patio was a cute surprise 😍 10 outta 10 RECOMMEND PINKY’S BURNING HELL BURLESQUE! DO IT! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED 😊

Yelp
Found a real swing dancing venue. But needed to go across the street to get cash for cover charge.

Yelp
We saw Juno's Cirque de Cabaret Such an incredible show! It felt like a great, safe space with helpful staff. The performers were amazing and turned it OUT Great queer-friendly location and a huge variety of performances! Just check if you'll need tickets ahead of time:)

Yelp
We had a great night at cabaret until we transferred to the bar a staff member tried to charge us 10$ a head to stay - which we questioned only because it was not clear they actually worked there - they then called me a c#&T and told me to get out here is a picture of the staff giving me the finger and again calling me a c#&T Absolutely outrageous and out of order behaviour - I am shocked to have been treated this way -

Yelp
Bought tickets on line for the Van Ella Bordella. Upon arrival, walked to bar, greeted by bartender. Ordered drinks as we were a bit early. Casual, friendly atmosphere. Bartender friendly & approachable. Inadvertently paid with two large bills, bartender brought that to our attention. Customer service in the back was the same, friendly & easy going. If you need single ones, the customer service provides in the back at the entrance to the theater. We absolutely loved the show, humor & fact sharing was very interesting. Would definitely return again! Appreciated the live piano player, definitely talent here!

Yelp
Matt and Bryan were wonderful performers. The show was amazing. Highly recommend. Great bartenders and clean establishment.

Yelp
I attended the R&B burlesque show. 10 out of 10 would recommend. We paid a $25 entrance fee and the performers were phenomenal. I did not eat any food, but ordered a drink at the bar. Which is where they lost the 5th star. There were two burlesque shows going on at the Lounge. But the bar was only open in the show I did not attend. If there are multiple events going on. Please open the bar in each venue.

Yelp
If you're looking for a risky New Orleans night out, this is the place to go. They combine comedy with quite a lot of nudity. If you buy tickets ahead of time, you'll get a table, or you could buy tickets at the door for standing room and bar seats. I'd recommend buying ahead of time because the tables are right up to the stage. Bring cash for the performers

Yelp
I visited for a burlesque Little Shop of Horrors and had a delightful evening! The venue is charming and intimate, the drinks are tasty and affordable, and the performers are talented and enthusiastic. If you like camp, I don't think you want to miss the burlesque musicals. Im considering coming back for Les Mis because I'm sure it'll be perfectly irreverent. This was only my second ever burlesque performance I've seen but I'm hooked now. I wish that there was a raised seating section and quality audio tech so we could fully enjoy the performances. The audio was spotty and it was very hard to see in the back. It looked like they only had one (noble) fellow working the lights and sound, which can't be ideal, right? The bar setup is awkward, as others have noted. It's in another performance space so I feel like I'm interrupting something when I go in there? Also the line can get quite long. The wells were $6 which is nice, and there was a guy selling real tasty pulled pork sammiches. I did get short changed on one of my drinks, but I got it in a cool mardi gras cup, so I think it evened out. Let it be known that the start time is more of the doors time. I think the 8pm show might have actually started at 8:45. Which is fine if you know. I'll be back!

Yelp
I went here twice during my trip--once to see Stormy Daniels, which was packed, and once to see burlesque, which was not. The dancers were very talented. I felt bad there were not that many people, but it's the slow season, I know. Burlesque is more fun with more people, but they gave it their all! I would definitely go back on my next trip.

Yelp
Fun filled night! Lefty Lucy is the bomb!! AllWays Lounge & Cabaret is a funky fun filled night. Leave judgement at home & get out with a bunch of fun loving people.

Yelp
I've only been here 2x and I really enjoy the vibe. The burlesque show was a great time. It's not a big place but I love how quaint and eclectic it is. The staff is always friendly. I know it's a tiny spot but 2 bartenders would be great when it's a full house. Lol. Parking can be tough if you don't get there early enough. They don't serve food but there's always somewhere close by to grab a bite. This place has all types of people from all walks of life...love that! Just a great neighborhood spot.

Yelp
We went for Jesus Christ Superstar over Easter weekend. It was so much fun. Pat Smith was amazing. We can't wait to go back and see other shows.

Yelp
The last time I was in New Orleans I went to the coolest burlesque show. I wanted to take five friends this time, but the one I had seen last time is no longer in operation (boo, Covid collateral damage). I found The AllWays Lounge and Cabaret was having the Smoke Show, starring Betsy Propane. We were able to easily get tickets and were seated on a sofa off the stage area. Perfectly cozy with our dinner from the pizza place next door. The show was really fun. Betsy is super cute and an excellent performer and interactive with the eager audience. The venue is small and quaint with a well stocked bar and an ATM machine (for throwing dollars). Betsy prefers when you stick a large bill in her shoe though. Haha. Great show, friendly employees, great energy by the audience. Nice to get out and just have fun!

Yelp
I love burlesque and I always try to catch a show everywhere I travel. This show is hands down one of the best shows I've ever seen. What a great aura! It had it all! I was blown away by the performances. It was not pretentious at all. Just entertaining, funny and sexy with just enough edge. We stayed for 2 shows. The mushroom show was fantastic. We made plans to go back the very next night!
google avatar

Destinee M.

Yelp
I took my moms here a little over week ago and we had the best time! The Betsy Propane Show was phenomenal! Betsy is gorgeous, super talented and very funny. The band was incredible and the guest performers were absolutely stellar. The bartender was gracious and made delicious cocktails. After the show we hung out on the patio for hours meeting all of the performers. A very talented chef set up on the patio and made fresh dumplings and noodles which were a welcome and delicious late night snack. Everything about this night was absolutely stellar. The fact that the venue is ADA accessible is a huge plus. We will return one day and look forward to a spectacular evening!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is nothing short of awesome!! Drinks are limited but cover all the bases at a price that's more than affordable. The show was amazing, amazing with a pup show at the end!! The crowd and activity was stellar!! Literally the best $20 per ticket I have purchased!! Would come back here again in a heart beat. This is definitely a hidden gem! Bring dollar bills for their acts! It's worth it!
google avatar

Traci P.

Yelp
My family and I had a great time here! An adult venue, I was with my grown children and my father so that was interesting! All the performers were very good and the show was oodles of fun! Thanks NOLA and the AllWays lounge staff
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for the exotic poetry slam last night, but we were turned away at the door because we didn't have our COVID vaccine cards on hand. I don't think most people carry them around in 2023? Had that requirement been listed on their website or social media, we could have brought them, because we'd been looking forward to this event since before the trip. Poor communication!

Yelp
Honestly, one of the best dive bars in Nola. The people were super nice. Which is cool in a bar. The show, a burlesque show was so much fun. I want to go again. It was a blast. I love Nola becauseI anything goes and body issues aren't as prevalent as in many places. The drinks are serious pours. I had 1 double old fashioned and 1 single old fashioned and I had to go sleep it off in my car before I could drive home. So, definitely have a designated driver or an Uber or something. Or drink something with less alcohol content like beer. lol. I left and they tabbed me out and they didn't get tipped. I feel so bad.
google avatar

Alyssa A.

Yelp
We had such a great time here! We came to do a double feature and saw both the Bayou Blues Burlesque and Sisters of St Claude shows. It was my first time ever going to either one of these type of shows, but it was such a great time. Both of them put on such an amazing show, and we had such a great time. They have a full bar here as well as drink specials. I was pleasantly surprised by my bar tab when I went to cash out. They also have great frozen daquiris - try the Bug Juice and you will not be disappointed. Overall, the shows here were great. Try it out and have some fun!
google avatar

Melissa P.

Yelp
We saw the Bette Tittler show here and it was so much fun! The venue and the performers were amazing!
google avatar

Dayton F.

Yelp
I come in from time to time, alone and with friends, usually for Van Ella or Esoterotica. The people have always been friendly and welcoming. The staff isn't too chatty, but they stay busy filling orders. It's understandable. They also frequently have something going on in the back little theater space. I've attended now and then, but I can't exactly recall what was going on, lol.
google avatar

Benjamin G.

Yelp
This was my first time at AllWays Lounge and I've been wanting to go for a while so this was exciting! The show was so fun and there were so many unique acts with so many talented people. Be warned, the show was intense. I went with my family and although it was a good experience it was a bit stressful at times. That's just what the performers were going for and they killed it! Just keep an upbeat attitude and you'll have an awesome night!
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
This show was absolutely brilliant! All the ladies were hilarious and the piano player was fantastic. They incorporated the history of Storyville through song and dance and comedy. It was amazing! It was everything I hoped and wished for!! I look forward to coming back and experiencing another show sometime.
google avatar

Jesse R.

Yelp
My wife and I got tickets for the Bayou Blues Burlesque show and it was fantastic! The band that played was a fantastic two piece blues group and the burlesque performers were excellent. The bartenders made very good drinks and the the night was filled with laughter, fun, and risqué burlesque. Plus, they had the "world famous" Mr. Cheese! If your up for something a little different or maybe burlesque is your thing, you must go check out the show at AllWays Lounge.
google avatar

Karol M.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this experience! The host (also a performer) was interactive, funny, and great stage presence. There were also two other burlesque performers and they were fantastic. I loved that there are a few "booths" and that's where I got to sit; so comfortable. Drinks were also great. I recommend that you bring bills to tip the performers (I regret not having cash, but I also love that you can give tips via venmo, paypal, or cash app).
google avatar

Yelp
Had to come back to tell you just how fangtabulous the Vampyre Cabaret show was last night!!! It honestly exceeded any expectations, you all were simply incredible. And I dreamt of your telling of the Monster at the End of the Book! Seriously, I can't say enough how much we all enjoyed it and you sure treated us right with the seats. There was definitely something for everyone and it was all so well produced and yet still silly and perfect "cabaret". If we lived here I'd come see anything you guys had to offer. Thank you for a wonderful night!
google avatar

Dimitric H.

Yelp
Came here for the Van Ella show. I think it's definitely a good activity to do especially for couples to enjoy the night. It's was a great entertaining show with good storytelling my lady really enjoyed it. Would recommend for a perfect after dinner show. Come early for seats at the front. Would go again
google avatar

Yelp
During a solo trip - I stumbled upon this gem. This is hands down my favorite place I've ever found. It is LGBTQ friendly. It's quirky. It's cool. I happen to go on "Fay's Gone Wild" night and I was not disappointed. The performers were wonderful and very entertaining. I have a feeling that you'll never know what to expect when coming here, and I love that. If only every city has such a place like this.
google avatar

Ella M.

Yelp
While we wanted to LOVE the Bubblegum Kink draglesque show it heavily lacked drag! Although the host was in drag, none of the other performers seemed to be. We appreciated the beauty of the burlesque talent and performance however Bubblegum Kink was not DRAGlesque as the title suggested. I would definitely recommend going to see their shows but not if you're looking for more drag like we were.
google avatar

Karlyn K.

Yelp
Given the location and looks upon arrival we just weren't sure. We came for burlesque bingo and stayed for the main show. They had a pop up for food during bingo. We had a blast. The bingo was fun and silly. The food was yummy. Drinks good. The burlesque show amazing. Do be warned that the show is more burlesque stripping than simply burlesque but still fun to watch. Spring for the reserved table for the main show. It makes a difference. Great way to spend my birthday!
google avatar

Joel J.

Yelp
Classic dive bar with a flair for the queer community but I think my favorite part of it was the fact that they had a burlesque show in the back that was truly the highlight of our stay in New Orleans due to the fact that they were hilarious and entertaining and fun make sure to bring one dollar bills for tips and it's a short walk to Frenchmen Street where you can see some of the best jazz in NOLA. Enjoy the crazies.
google avatar

Mike E.

Yelp
Had a great time at the Van Ella Bordella burlesque show at Allways Lounge in New Orleans. Drinks were strong and the crowd fun.

Yelp
Saw the Class burlesque show on January 28th- what a fun show format, and with amazingly talented performers! The host, producers and bartenders were incredible also. I'm a performer myself and this show was some of the most fun I've had as a spectator! 10/10, will absolutely be back.

Yelp
Went to KAPOW New Year's Eve show, paid $89.64 each for my husband and I to have VIP seating (seated at our own table close to the stage and 2 glasses of champagne each) and we were rather disappointed. First, our tickets said the doors opened at 9:30 pm. The lounge wasn't ready to let anybody in and a line grew outside. Second, I'm curious as to how many tickets were sold, because the venue was extremely crowded, to the point that even those of us sitting VIP had to crawl over others to get to the bar or restrooms. Third, for what we paid, I was expecting a bit more than 5 performers, which included the emcee and producer, and was just strip acts. Shame on me for not managing my expectations better. And finally, AllWays was the last venue I visited before returning home Tuesday morning, and by that evening, I had tested positive for COVID. I had not attended any Sugar Bowl activities, was not in any other close quarters environments, and didn't become ill until I was flying home. My local public health department said I most likely was exposed at the lounge Sunday night. I identify with the LGBTQAI+ community and like to support community businesses. I have been to numerous gay bars, lounges, cabarets, clubs and restaurants in several cities. I must admit that both my husband and i were very disappointed that our eventng wasn't worth the money we paid. Can't give a "thumbs up" for this place.
google avatar

Billy R.

Yelp
What an amazing show this was. The emcee and lead dancer were absolutely as cute as a button interacted with the audience so very and music was absolutely great. I always get nervous when I open a tab somewhere that was not a problem. Here drinks were very affordable atmosphere perfect the show was spectacular
google avatar

Camille M.

Yelp
Come here if you want to have a fun sexy time at drag or burlesque show in New Orleans! I saw the Van Ella Bordella burlesque show with my wife and sister and we all had a blast. Original songs, gorgeous girls in sparkly costumes, New Orleans history, bawdy jokes, stiff drinks, fun for the whole family!
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal performance. Very laid back, yet professional environment! You will not be disappointed. My husband and I did it during our anniversary and we had a blast! Go and don't be cheap with the tipping, these people are amazing! ;)
google avatar

Yelp
Went for Comedy Night last night! Absolutely hilarious and I can't wait to go again! Second Saturday of every month! I'll be back again and again! Great venue too, like an old speakeasy with a wicked cool stage! Impressed!

Yelp
I came here on my birthday day to see Lefty Lucy and play bingo. I had never been to a burlesque show before so I was excited. Not a lot of people showed up until the second hour. There was also no food available, besides homemade meatballs brought in by a customer. I asked the bar tender for drink recommendations, he suggested the limelight lemonade and the dirty daiquiri. My boyfriend and I liked the limelight lemonade but my sister didn't like her daiquiri. I also tried the sazerac but I didn't like it (not the bars fault, I just didn't like the drink). Lefty Lucy was very scripted (especially if you stay for multiple rounds) but she had a lot of energy. She became more fun and spontaneous when she danced to songs the audience picked. We left 1/2 through because we were hungry haha. I didn't know until later that we could have brought food inside. But I had fun!
google avatar

Christopher W.

Yelp
Great venue and bar service. The burlesque shows here are first class. Allways is on my calendar for great shows monthly.

Yelp
Definitely a small dive bar, but such a good time! We ultimately came here for the Swing dance lessons which is free on Sundays at 8pm but decided to come a bit earlier when we saw on the website that they had The Hummingbirds Variety Hour going on before it which is free as well. We had no idea what this was but when we got there it was a combination of singing, humor, burlesque and more. Everyone was super nice from the minute we slowly pushed the door open not sure what we were getting ourselves into, they waved at us to come right on in. We sat and enjoyed the show and then participated in the dance lesson which involved everyone who wanted to learn. It was good instruction and they even made it work with the small floor space. They had a live band from 9pm-Midnight and the place definitely started to get packed with everyone dancing and asking people to dance so they could practice their swing moves. It appears they have a small outside area in the back. And our bartender Chris was friendly as well. This place does allow you to bring food inside so you can eat there and if you check in with yelp you'll get a free shot of your choice!
google avatar

Lydia W.

Yelp
I had a great time at this local neighborhood lounge. This is a spot where you see a lot of locals and they were very pleasant and welcoming. Initially my girlfriend and I went her to do jitterbug dance classes, which they offer absolutely free of charge. We arrived earlier because they had a burlesque show and some other things going on before the dance class. I had no idea what a burlesque was, but it was like a classy strip show. Anyway, the lounge I absolutely loved but it was a little tight and got really crowded around 9:30 give or take. I mean people came out of nowhere for the dance classes and just a great time. The locals were very nice and you didn't have to look over your shoulder the entire time. There are bathrooms for male and female, about two stalls per. Their are a vase of condoms in each restroom, because safe sex is great sex! There is no food at this spot but Fry and Pie is across the street... google it! The bartender Chris was super sweet and even toasted a shot with us; if we had a question about food or anything he pointed us in the right direction. If you're in town and want to stay away from The French Quarter or Bourbon street, definitely put this spot in your GPS and have a great time with the locals.

Yelp
What a comfortable place to smile and see amazing burlesque. Love coming here to see the Friday night show every time we're in town
google avatar

Lucy M.

Yelp
Three trips to this city and every one of them I tried to make it here - this time it finally happened! I came for Bayou Blues Burlesque and had a blast. The bartenders were great, special shout out to Jordan. The show had a live musical duo on stage that gave the perfect backdrop for the performers and their between set banter was fun to watch. I also love throwing things, and throwing dollar bills is more fun than you think. Come with a little cash and get change from your bartender! I also strongly advise sitting up front, you're more likely to be part of the action that way. I don't usually like lollipops, but I was very happy with the one I got that night. There were three performers: Miss Ooops & Lady Lucerne, two gorgeous, poised, talented, and friendly women who put on one hell of a show. I loved the outfit choices. But the last performer inevitably steals the show: Mister Cheeze. This is Miss Ooop's small dog who can do some moderately difficult tricks and it's a delight to shower him with praise. As I left Marilyn Manson was playing in the background and I saw a line forming in the backroom for another show. Not sure what the difference is between the two spaces but I will hopefully find out on my next trip in. This is a good place, full of good people and good vibes.

Yelp
I have been here a couple of times. A burlesque show here, a cat circus there, I am surprised at all of the different rooms they have here to have different shows going on all at once. The drinks are strong and cheap. There is limited street parking in front, and on the side streets, a shared parking lot in the back. Once inside, it can be dark, but there are plenty of lights pointed at whatever stage you are facing to see the show. The restrooms are clean. There was no smoking allowed inside, but an enclosed smoking area off to the side, outside. When you walk in from the front entrance is a bar and a stage. The burlesque show I saw with friends was in this area. Walking through this to a hallway, there is a room on the left for shows, restrooms, the door to the smoking area then a large room in back where the cat circus was when I came. Every time I have come, I have enjoyed my experiences. I look forward to coming again.

Yelp
I really like this place and am definitely going to be back. I stopped in for their free ice cream and comedy night and wasn't disappointed by either. Even better they honor the free shot with check-in, and Benchmark isn't a bad whiskey to start the night with. The environment is clean, the crowd pleasant and not rowdy, and the show was well worth the visit. I'm probably going to be coming back here every week to catch their comedy show! The staff was friendly, and I particularly appreciated the bartender that night. She had a sense of humor and a pleasant personality, which can be something of a rarity in certain bars.

Yelp
If you're in NOLA on a Wednesday night, go play Burlesque BINGO (check the site for dates and times) at AllWays! Make sure you try some of the locally distilled spirits too!
google avatar

Haley K.

Yelp
Small local spot with great entertainment. We went for burlesque bingo. Lefty Lucy did not disappoint. Definitely fun!
google avatar

Erik E.

Yelp
While we came hoping to see the burlesque show, the schedule was actually set for swing that night. Maybe I read the website wrong, or perhaps something was switched. Whatever, we had a great time regardless. The swing band was unbelievable, the dance floor was packed with all people from late 20s to early 40s, and fun was to be had. The place is fairly small and the stage/dance floor takes up half the space. Yet everyone from the staff to patrons is approachable friendly, easy to talk to, and more than willing to dance with you if you came by yourself or have an unwilling partner. If we would have stopped here on day one of our trip, man oh man would my wife have wanted to be there every night dancing the night away.
