Berkeley’s Cafe La Méditerranée Will Live On - Eater SF

"The team behind Heart and Dagger Saloon, the dive bar in Oakland’s Grand Lake neighborhood, is opening a new bar in Uptown at 1741 San Pablo Avenue. Dubbed The Amplifier, it should feel similar to Heart and Dagger, with DJs performing on the weekends and music-themed cocktails for less than $9. It took me too long to come to this spot for the first time. I finally did last night. I love me some Heart & Dagger and this place has the same amazing prices, some cross-over bartenders and door staff, as well as a chill vibe - the AC helps with that as well! Check them out. You will not be disappointed. Take a few pics in the photo booth too, to seal your memories.
