The evening started out fine until the bartender refused to let my friend switch spirits for her cocktail, then when I requested that the margarita have less sugar he tried to mansplain how a drink should be made. Then when I just asked him for a tequila soda he said we needed to leave. I had ordered food and he threw the receipt on the table, into my food, then when I gave him two separate cards to close the check, he charged my card solely and for the food that he took away from me before I was even able to eat it, stating that I complained that he touched it and that he didn’t have to go boxes. I have never been to a more pretentious place in my entire life, and I used to work in the yachting industry, and I work for A level musicians. The bartender was a wee man who spoke in octaves far below his voice and had a complex about anyone just having a drink of their choice that wasn’t based on his menu. When I told him that it was my drink and it was OK for me to modify it he told me “it may be your drink, but it’s my menu”. Customer service is key. All he had to do was say OK no problem and make me my drink, not explain how things needed to be. It’s not your way or the highway. I will never go back there. I will never recommend it to my friends. There are 1 000,000 cocktail bars in East Nashville, and Nashville, that are far more deserving of your money. The olives came straight from a package. They didn’t warm them, the toasty was probably fine until he stole it from my table pre-bite.
Zero stars, zero tip and I will be disputing it with my credit card company..
