"Head out to Sam’s Town for that cozy steakhouse vibe complete with crisp white tablecloths and dark wood trim. Prime rib cuts at the Angry Butcher are aged for 28 days and sourced from Creekstone Farms. The three cuts available are the 20-ounce beefeater, the 14-ounce petit cut, and the 18-ounce gamblers cut. Complement it with a side of Tuscan fried fingerling potatoes or a single-serving “pot” of French onion soup or lobster chowder." - Jen Avison Smith

Located in the Sam’s Town Casino Hotel, Angry Butcher is a perfectly fine steakhouse and a solid value. The small things can be better - rolls tasted like they were store bought a week ago and the mashed potatoes had no chunks - but the big things are fine. Prime Rib and ribeye steaks were worthy of a more expensive steak house, lump crab cocktail and French onion soup shined, and creamed spinach tasted fresh made. Chocolate layer cake a la mode satisfied. Service was professional. For this price, Angry Butcher deserves a visit, if not worthy of a special occasion.

The Angry Butcher is located inside of the Sam’s town casino. Food is absolutely delicious. My steak was a great cut and was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The rosemary potatoes were scrumptious well seasoned and crispy. The angry butcher offers seating inside of the restaurant and on the indoor patio where you could see the Mystic Falls waterfall. Our service was great. Our server was very attentive.

In one word - luxurious. In two words - perfect, excellent! In the last week, of all three steak houses we have visited, we have definitely had the best steaks, the best side dishes, and the sauces were amazing! 👌 If you want to find yourself in food heaven, we definitely recommend this restaurant! 👌👌❤️

Had dinner while visiting Sam's Town casino over the weekend and had an enjoyable experience. Had the fried chicken, Rosemary potatoes and house salad. First the salad was very large with fresh lettuce and vegetables. In addition our waiter had recommended the honey mustard vinaigrette dressing and it was a big hit. The fried chicken came with two good sized breasts and prepared to perfection with a crunchy outer casing and very tender inside. Side of potatoes was huge and a good compliment to the chicken. Had so much food it needed to be boxed. My guest had the half herb chicken and said it was very good as well. Our waiter Mark was friendly and helpful. You could either sit inside or on their patio overlooking the large interior waterfall at Sam's Town. The only slight negative was the inside of the restaurant had an "old" smell to it when sitting down. Was like being in an old house but when the food arrived you didn't smell it as much. Management may want to either burn candles, incense or spray with something scented to detract from the smell. Prices close to similar type restaurants in Vegas. Would go back to the Angry Butcher the next time at Sam's Town.

Always a good meal here and friendly service. I've been here many times and it's consistently good. For a casino restaurant it is quite good. Typical steakhouse fare, entrees nicely seasoned and usually cooked as ordered. The asparagus is always tender, juicy, sweet and flavorful no matter the time of year.

We ate a meal here on Christmas Day as we were spending the holiday at Sam's Town. We ordered a set menu which was well priced at around $50, but not as described. The appetiser was a salad which was advertised as poached pears with mixed leaves and candied walnuts. The salad arrived with no pears - "we ran out" the server told us. The advertised dessert was Pumpkin Pie - instead, we were served a Pumpkin Cheesecake with no advance warning - "we ran out" the server told us, in between advising that he was pleased his shift was almost over..... We liked the idea of dining at the Angry Butcher but will now consider it a one-and-done as the experience wasn't all that. Sam's Town was magical at Christmas, this experience unfortunately, was not.

I am staying at Sam's hotel, which is a good place I recommend it. We had dinner in the angry butcher. The oysters Rockefeller was one of the best I have ever had. But the main course my ribeye was the worst I have ever had at a steak house, it was not a prime cut the manager said it was choice but I doubt it. It had no marbling and when I cut into it there was no juice on the plate. It was cooked medium rare, so there should have been plenty. They gave us creme brulee to make up for the steak and it was great also. So bottom line this a steak restaurant that doesn't have good steak. One more thing they say the steaks are seared at 1,200°, but the steak was not seared well at all.

Wow, what an awesome find this place was. First time experience tonight. Parking was easy and free. Walking through the hotel, it reminded us of old school Vegas. Restaurant is sorta hidden in the very cool atrium area. Once inside, the decor is very nice and not the old school vibe, really liked it a lot. Our server Kori was only on her second shift, but she was very good, super nice, and offered some really good suggestions. Appetizers were the delicious complementary bread, Crab & Lobster cakes (they’re made with no fillers), and the tasty Cleaver salad. Both were great. Entrees were the Double Cut Pork Chop and Braised Short Ribs and both were A++ (along with the sides). No room for dessert, but managed to put down a Cappuccino afterwards. All in all, it was a great experience and this is gonna be one of our top 3 places to hit up for special occasions.
