I had a wonderful experience here. I was greeted by Karley, and she was very friendly and even told me more about the brand of the products I was purchasing that I wouldn't have otherwise known.

The Apothecarium Cannibis Dispensary in Capitola was/is a First Class experience from start to finish. From the door greeter, to the ambience/setting, to the friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable staff (Michelle, Carley, and Bear), I always enjoyed doing business in this establishment. I felt listened to and taken care of on all occasions. It made me happy to know such a professional and “classy” service existed. I saved all my black bags and use them as decorated gift bags on special occasions. It goes without saying the products were always top notch. So, that being said, I was literally shocked to hear today that the doors will be closing for good in the not too distant future. This is a travesty and I am really saddened that the community is losing such a stellar resource. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. You will be missed. Jack Sparrow, the service dog, will miss you also. We are very sad today. 😢

Super expensive and confusing rules I've been there a few times I lost my id and I'm waiting for my new one to come in went in with my GF and I asked if it was ok if i sat in the lobby the girl at the counter said it was fine GF made the purchase everything went fine a few weeks later went back in and the same employee told me I couldn't be inside at all

I love this place! It reminds me of a very posh spot you would find in San Diego! An introverts dream if you don't want to be hassled by people. The staff is personable and very attentive. It's also a very soothing atmosphere with a great setup and spaced out well. Jason, Joss, and Mike have always been great with helping me out! They have always been my go to people. However, all their staff is very helpful! Definitely a great place to check out!

The Apothecarium does it again! Having just moved to Santa Cruz, I was looking for an easy, friendly experience. As soon as I walked in everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable! The Apothecarium feels more like a whole experience rather an errand, plus look at this bag! On top of that they're soon going to start delivery! Highly Recommend.

CALLING ALL LESBIAN STONERS ~ this is your new favorite dispensary! Butch dyke representation abound. Kimbo was our budtender, super charming and knowledgeable. Bear the security guard was funny, friendly, and nice. Vibe check! This place felt like somewhere we wanted to hang out for the rest of the afternoon. We got cannabis booze for partying, weed vape for getting thru life, and transdermal CBD balm for my injured shoulder. The weed vape vibrates when you've done a full dose so you don't burn the oil, I'm into it ~ 1000% recommend ****

This is the most professional & respectful dispensary I have ever been in. I love the using Kind Creations as my pure plant alternative. I use CBD while I'm at work and the Indica capsules when I get home!

Amazing. Randomly you looked up dispensaries in the area and this caught my eye thinking of Schitt's Creek LOL, truly the nicest dispensary I've ever been to. It's basically a Sephora for Weed! Went on a Wednesday at seven it was the only one inside. I was helped by Michelle with Bear guarding the door. If I lived in the area this would be my go to, they had a couple promotions going on and I bought a whole bag of stuff for 85. Perfect and quick experience, I'm so jealous they don't have one of these where I live.

The most educated staff in all of Santa Cruz county. They know their terpenes and the prices are reasonable. Plus they are the only ones that carry the blueberry açaí gummies. The customer service is great as well. Even the security guard is pleasant. I will be back

This was my first time at this dispensary. I was greeted very politely and guided in. The ambience is warm and extremely clean. The young man who waited on me was so helpful and educated me on the pain patches I eventually purchased. Without his help I would have used the pain patches incorrectly. He was extremely professional and pleasant. I will continue coming here for any future purchases and will recommend it to my friends and family members.

This Dispensary is so pretty, clean, & minimalistic which i admire a lot. They seemed to have some amazing artwork hung up which was from a local artist. The Budtender that that served me was named Michelle and she was absolutely wonderful and made me feel like we were friends . (her curly hair was amazing) she gladly walked me through all the categories of flower they had in stock and she even recommended me her personal favorite, which of course i got ! The customer service is TOP TEIR i will be returning extremely soon for the rest of my life

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. No wait even on a weekend. They had some really unique edibles like shrimp chips (which aren't as good as the real thing, but a nice alternative to sweet edibles). Lots of parking and really swanky atmosphere.

Thank you to Michelle and Joss who were a huge help in finding the right solution for my mom's aches and pains. Both spent a good deal of time listening to her issues then researching the best fit that would not make her loopy at the same time. Super clean and class act layout! I went to the Apothecarium for the first time several weeks ago and although I was a bit timid at first, the staff put me at ease and helped me through the process of finding the right product. All the Apothecarium locations that I have visited in San Francisco are incredible (Castro, Marina, SoMa), and this new storefront is no exception! The staff was friendly and welcoming upon check-in and the store was perfectly clean and organized. The budtender that helped me (Joe, I believe) was extremely knowledgable and helped me make my selections based on preferences and to take advantage of the deals. They have lots of great deals available so it's nice to see they are passing savings along to the customer!

I have been here twice and received exceptional customer service from Jayson, Kimbo, Jo and Katie. The facility was pristine and the selection was excellent. What stood out the most was how caring the staff was as I am sensitive individual and required a lot of hand-holding and brainstorming. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place.

The staff listened to my needs and recommended the right product for me. They were also very friendly. I was looking for a mainly CBD oil to put in my tea but wanted to feel very mild THC effects as well. I was recommended KIKOKO TRANQUILI - TEA. The tea made my stomach feel extremely healthy and relaxed my muscles, without an overwhelming THC high. It was very therapeutic and healthy. My stomach health has improved tremendously since trying the tea and it also helps with sleep.

Such a cool new dispensary in my area. The staff have an amazing energy that you feel as soon as you walk in the door. They carry most of my favorite products and have a couple I've never tried before which I like because I am always interested in new products to try. That GDP by State Flower was magical. I've been searching for a true GDP for a while and not only was it great, it was very well priced when I got a half ounce. I'm definitely going to come back.

I went in for the first time. I am not much of a smoker but felt I was in a welcoming environment. I was helped by a woman named Michelle, she gave me a tour and asked if I had any questions. I ended up buying some cookies which are delicious. I will definitely be back. Awesome store I recommend you visiting. The over all staff and cleanliness is 5 stars.

If I could just review the security guard I would give her 0 stars. The only reason I'll keep going back is because the budtenders are SO SWEET and SO HELPFUL! I'd been there before, and like most places you take your medical card once and they keep you in the system so you don't have to keep bringing back that big piece of paper. The security guard scanned my ID and in the most rude and condescending tone said "where's your card?" and I stared at her a little shocked because I had never been spoken to like that at any dispensary and she had never asked for it at the door. She then went on a rant about how I need to have my medical card every time I go and almost refused service until I said "most places I've gone to have you bring it the first time and then keep you in the system so you don't need to keep bringing it back but it's okay I can come back with it tomorrow". She then opened the door for me and as soon as we went inside her demeanor changed completely and it was like a different person, suddenly she spoke very softly and "sweet". I then asked the super nice employee "do I need to keep bringing my medical card with me every time I come for future reference because she got mad at me outside" and he kindly said "No you don't need to keep bringing it once you're in our system you're good unless it expires and you renew it". That needs to be communicated with her. She was EXTREMELY rude and if the employees weren't so nice I would never go back.
