"The Arlington is pretty upscale by LBI standards. But it’s also on LBI, which is why we never feel out of place walking straight here for lunch after spending too many hours riding two-foot chop in 60-degree water. Fortunately, it’s a short walk, as this big American spot, which actually looks more like a ski lodge than an island restaurant, is less than a block from the beach in Ship Bottom. Whether you sit in the first-come, first-served bar area or get a table in one of the dining rooms, you should start with a plate of chicken wings with housemade ranch and any of the 20 unusual, rotating beers they have on tap. If you want to keep things casual, get the very good double cheeseburger, or if you want to class up your board shorts and flip flops, go with the slightly sweet pork chop over andouille and cornbread stuffing." - Matt Tervooren, Tonya Russell

Great food! Nice place! Fun bar and pretty restaurant. Great service and the cocktails and wine were wonderful. We had the Mexican Street corn, bacon Mac n cheese, pork chop and Korean beef. All were delicious! Highly recommend

Easy to book online. From walking in to walking out, everything was wonderful. Hostess greeted us and seated us quickly. Food was served in less than 10 minutes. The waitress did a great job checking back and taking care of us. My mom had the salmon and I had a chicken quesadilla as an appetizer, and a cheesesteak. Both were excellent. The cheesesteak roll was soft and delicious. The the sauce and the cheese steak was perfect, not spicy but just enough zing to let you know it was not an out of the bottle sauce. We will return! Great atmosphere too. Family friendly.

Drinks were excellent - loved the Big Papi and my husband enjoyed his Ship Bottom IPA. Oysters were small and kind of disappointing. The calamari was tasty and the burger were good. Plenty of outdoor seating, cool atmosphere.

Great cocktail and beer list. Very loud inside. Couldn’t have a conversation without almost yelling across the table. Dinner. Swordfish and scallops were delicious but were appetizer size not mains for that price. Waited 40 mins for mains but still hadn’t gotten our Calamari appetizer. Was very disappointed. Calamari was rubbery and greasy. Only had a 1/3 of it before we put our forks down.

Could’ve been a much better experience. I can tell the menu is being geared to a more approachable concept, which is understandable, however service was not good, and food was average or worse. I hate to name someone and put their job on the line but she didn’t know where the oysters were from, and she very unexcitingly described the special. I was served a beer in a dirty glass (lipstick stains on either side of the rim), she apologized but didn’t do anything about the bill, which I’m sure should be a standard recovery to comp that beer alone in that scenario. Calamari was indeed soggy, the chicken lettuce wraps were dry, the NY strip needed salt, which I rarely ever add salt to a restaurant dish, but being the highest priced menu item, feels like more attention should have been paid to that execution. This restaurant was one of my favorites only a couple of years ago, seems they changed their approach, less fine dining more casual, but I missed intimacy and adventure I’ve previously experienced.
