The Art Plug

Shout out to Marcel and his team for orchestrating an epic event. We always look for unique events and new artists to collect during Miami Art Week and Art Plug came through as always. The boat experience was a different vibe this year and getting to learn about Stephen Gamsons art in such an exclusive setting was a nice break from the regular hustle. Looking forward to the next one!

Had a great time during Art Basel at The Art Plug Event w/ Marcel! great way to see Miami on a sunset boat ride, also loved the art pieces that were showcased beforehand. It was fun!

This year while working the door at Art Miami, I was fortunate enough to meet Marcel, AKA “The Art Plug.” I informed him that I had seen his work, and was impressed by his creativity, unique style of viewing life, through arts and the events world. Not only did he appreciate the compliment, but he has since then taken me under his wing as a mentor, friend, and inspiration. He illuminated to me see the world in a beautiful light, and sparked me to get back into my creative side. I am proud to know him and hope to work together on more out of the box projects that will benefit the lives of others.

I’ve been to almost every Art show Marcel and his team has put on! It’s always been a unique experience! I recently got a pair of his latest eyewear brand and I must say I love my sunglasses they are incredible!!! Handmade in Italy! I’m looking forward to getting another pair from @maisonmarcel.it

I was just commissioned to make sculptures for The Art Plug for a big project. Man, I was amazed at how fast I was paid upfront. Faster than Mario Andretti!

Met Marcel earlier this year at a fund raiser for an animal rescue he was helping out with. He has a great team and is beyond talented. In my honest art opinion, he is the metaphorical version of an undiscovered Michael Jordan still playing in a public park, when he should be a global star. Grateful to have visited his studio and acquire one of his work. I did have to wait a few months but it was worth it.
