During a recent visit to The Attic Restaurant, I had the chance to explore a variety of items off their menu and I walked away already looking forward to my next visit.
The meal began with a mix of appetizers and mains—Tuna Tartar, Attic Wings, Beets, Steak Au Poivre, Lobster Corn Fritters , Hot and Cold Lobster Rolls accompanied by drinks. The standouts for me were definitely the drinks, the Hot and Cold Lobster Rolls and the Steak Au Poivre of which all were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. The Attic Wings had just the right amount of kick, the Beets were cooked to perfection, rich and well-seasoned and the Lobster Corn Fritters were packed with flavored and served with a nice size of lump lobster.
However, I thought the side of mashed potatoes did lacked flavor and texture, and the Tuna Tartar didn’t quite live up to expectations and wish there had been more avocado to help balance the taste. The rice was not prepared completely. Overall, the good definitely outweighed the bad.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy good food with friends/family. The laid-back vibe, along with the service of Anthony the bartender (definitely ask for him to make your drinks) and Lobster rolls and Steak Au Poivre , makes The Attic Restaurant a place I’ll definitely be returning to.
