The Aviary Bar

I first came to the Aviary in November 2024 when it opened and I’ve been back 7-8 times since but only just getting round to writing a review. From when it first opened Fizz and the team welcomed me with open arms and it’s the people that make this bar so special. Every single member of the team is friendly, welcoming, chatty and just amazing. Very knowledgeable about the cocktails too, ask questions and you will get answers and they listen to any feedback. The decor, well this evolves every time I step through the door and there is always something new to spot from birds, flowers, cages, lights to murals. It’s dark and green but in the best way. The chairs & sofas are comfortable and there are plenty of them but it does get busy. One great little touch is the handbag/coat hooks under the bar these are so handy when you’ve made yourself comfortable. Now the cocktails, well the menu covers all bases from taste to visual effects and really reasonably priced especially on a Thursday when it’s 2 for £12 (wow). All cocktails are handmade to order and certain ones have a back story (ask about Charlie and Dave). This is most definitely my favourite cocktail bar and I highly recommend and I will be continuing to return time and time again.

Booked this venue exclusively for a 30th Birthday Party. Fizz and the team fab, they were attentive, friendly, welcoming, and so helpful. We were allowed into the venue to decorate an hour prior to the party starting, Fizz and the team helped us with setting up and organising decorations etc. The bar and venue is aesthetically pleasing, tasteful decor, plenty of space to sit, stand or dance etc. They also have a great sound system, to blue tooth your own track lists. I’d highly recommend booking the Aviary Bar for a private and intimate party/function. I’d definitely recommend visiting for a few drinks or cocktails too. Fizz and the team appear as though they love what they do, and they do it so well. I hope you enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed partying with you guys. We privately hired The Aviary Bar for my partner’s 30th birthday, and it couldn’t have been any more perfect! In the run up to the event, they were super helpful to communicate with and answer any questions via email. They allowed us to come in an hour earlier to set up and from the moment we arrived, 'Fizz' and team were so friendly and accommodating, getting stuck in with putting up decorations. The atmosphere was amazing all night, the drinks were great, and we were able to connect our phone to the speakers via Bluetooth so we were able to have our music on all evening. We had around 40 people attend the party and the space was just perfect, it didn't feel too small but not empty either but was room for more if needed. The actual space is beautifully decorated too. All our guests commented on how great the space was and how much fun they had. It's definitely going to one that's remembered and talked about for years! Huge thank you to 'Fizz' and all the team at The Aviary Bar. Highly recommend for private events or just a great night out. We will definitely be back for a drink soon 🍸❤️

Beautiful venue! The best espresso martini I’ve had, even better than the 3rd best voted cocktail bar in the world!! The Shrek cocktail and mini cocktail box were fantastic too!!

A gorgeous bar at the top of Cafe Vin Cinq - gorgeously decorated and a lovely atmosphere. The cocktails were made so well and I was really impressed that you can order non-alcoholic versions too (and it was just as nice as the alcoholic ones!). The bar person was lovely, really friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend a visit.

This is a lovely bar. I really like the decor and gorgeous artwork on the walls. Fab cocktails including alcohol free and vegan ones too. Thumbs up from me!
