The Aviator Gin Bar

Lovely little surprise in the industrial estate. Great food, the staff were friendly and helpful. A fanstatic Greek food company working out of this area, too. Well worth a visit for a gyros and a beer.

This was our first night out since the relaxation of lockdown and we definitely picked the right venue. Although the bar is based on an industrial estate you wouldn't know it as the team have managed to crate a great atmosphere in their outside space. Staff were friendly and attentive, the gin was superb as you might expect with a great range of alternative drinks to choose from for the non-gin drinkers. We'll definitely be making a return visit when we can sit inside and marvel at the fantastic aviation-themed bar!!

Most of the foods we had wanted had sold out due to Christmas parties, but we ordered tacos and some fries and they tasted really good. Atmosphere was brilliant and so chilled out and sat in airplane seats was really fun and different, we had a group of 4, there were other seating arrangements available for larger groups. We also had a drink here and it was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back

Evening drinks. A large venue with few people in, on our visit. Wide range of drinks at prices that won't break the bank.. Called back yesterday, the place having a bit of an overhaul. It now has a pool table area which was really busy on this Sunday afternoon. They've installed lots of t.v. screens in the seating booths and made the booths look like airplane cockpits. Although the place was very busy there was still plenty of room for more people without it being crowded. I think the place has improved since my last review, so have altered my rating.

I really want to say how amazing the staff are in this place. We got the bottomless brunch and unlike some other places where you're trying to flag a bar person down for a top up here they were straight over to the table without us even calling out. Made the night run so smoothly. They were friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for a great night. Food was lovely too.

Amazing! It’s a cute little place, we were greeted by a lovely lady from the bar - the bar with a helicopter above it! They have aeroplane seats and sides of aircraft, all sorts! The food was lovely, very fresh and made by a lovely man. All home made! Will be coming back for sure!

Great gin bar with a funky decorum, fantastic selection of drinks and has the benefit of some fantastic food from the outdoor kitchen serving burgers, pizzas and a rotating menu. Its super dog friendly and welcomes all dogs inside, staff are very friendly and polite. Gets busy on a weekend night but is very chilled if you go lunchtime/afternoon. Honestly one of the best places we can go with our dog.

I've had a mix of experiences here, both good and bad hence 4 starts. I keep going due to the quality of the drinks and food being exceptional. Good Drinks are average price I'd say but the taste and quality is exceptional. Atmosphere is normally great and friendly staff. Love the aviation theme. Food from the Greek restaurant on site is also exceptional, I'm a huge fan of Gin and Greek food so the place is on to a winner for me. Bad We booked a table here around a year ago (myself and my wife) for our first night out in 2 years after the birth of our daughter. I'd spent months preaching to her about this place, so i was excited to take her here. Upon arriving the doors were locked and knocking generated no response. After another group turned up to the same issue we caught sight of staff through the window who eventually answered the door, to be told they have closed early as its quiet and would let us in for one drink. Having booked a table, a taxi and arranged childcare I wasn't impressed, we abandoned any plans and drove home. Due to being related to someone who knows the Ower I bit my tongue on social media but found this extremely frustrating. If there's an event on the queue for the bar is ridiculous to the point you'd get a drink then have to join the queue again for how long it takes to get served. We normally just leave. Overall I love the place but we pick when we visit.
