The Back Garden

Had a lovely evening meal here. From the moment we walked in the experience was brilliant. All the staff were lovely, very professional and friendly. Food was lovely as well as the wines. Service was brilliant. The building itself is also lovely. About 10 minutes from Broadway. Some of the nicest toilets I've been to also.

Disappointing dinner as the prices did not justify quality and portion size of the dishes. The beetroot starter was an absolute joke. The simplest, tasteless and smallest piece of beetroot. For £10 this started our dinner off quite poorly. We told the staff it was too small to be considered a starter for an adult yet they did nothing to remedy the situation. The rest of the courses were good yet very simple, and lacking taste. We had bigger expectations from such a high establishment.

Absolutely fantastic meal. Very professional waiter with a big smile, thank you so much for looking after us and for such great recommendations. 5/5 on all fronts.

Service and food is 10/10. All ingredients were fresh and flavoursome with excellent presentation. We were celebrating a birthday and our server gave us a nice sweet treat to take away, lovely thought!

Fabulous, fabulous. We found this place by looking up the Michelin guide as we were in the area for a couple of nights. The restaurant is very stylishly decorated at least to our taste, the waiting staff are very attentive but not too much, and the food was really very, very good. It's a bit pricey but well worth it. I would definitely go again if I had the chance.

Everything exceeded our expectations. We would regularly visit if we lived nearer, though it was worth our 160 miles round trip. THE SCALLOP was the BEST.
