Today we celebrated my daughter's birthday! I have passed this restaurant for years and haven't stopped by until today. The service was excellent and our waitress Jennifer was there bomb! She explained the highlight of Magical Dining and drink specials. There was a gentlemen who ensured the table was cleared and tentative to the toddler who ate first and waited patiently for dessert. We ordered the egg rolls and artichoke dip. The egg rolls were meaty and the au jus was a pleasant addition for dipping. The dip was flavorful and I was definitely looking for the spinach, it was served with lightly toasted pita chips. For the entree's we chose the 12 oz NY strip cooked Medium and Med Well. Nice cut for what it was. Not your usual grilled steak but a nice butter finish to the oven sear flavors we picked up. Side options can be upgraded, so ask your server. We opted for Cesar salad for one side. Pomegranate Sangria was nice chase to the steak I had. Oh yeah they do offer fresh baked bread however you have to ask for it. It's served with garlic olive oil for dipping. Note: Gratuity of 20% is added to all magical Dining checks

My husband and I came to The Backroom to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! This spot holds a special place in our hearts since we also celebrated our first anniversary here — and once again, they exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel special. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, perfect for an intimate evening. The food was absolutely phenomenal — from the perfectly cooked steak topped with crab and asparagus to the creamy truffle mac & cheese and flavorful Brussels sprouts. Every bite was spot on. The cocktails were just as impressive — beautifully crafted and delicious! What made the night even more memorable was meeting another couple also celebrating their fourth anniversary — such a fun coincidence that added to the experience! It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers consistently amazing food, drinks, and service, but The Backroom does just that. Thank you for another wonderful anniversary — we’ll definitely be back for many more celebrations to come!

Very over priced. I got the scallops for $51. I only got 4!! Small ones. With 2 sides. It was just ok. Husband got the sea bass with 2 sides. It was $54. He liked it. Got a martini and asked for 3 olives but they only gave him 2. I got the pomegranate sangria. It was good. Now the appetizer ahi tuna? That was amazing!!! We had a reservation at 430 on Saturday and I highly recommend getting a reservation. But they don’t move you in and out very fast. We were there about an hour and 45 minutes. And it does get pretty hour in there. Oh and the bathroom was co-ed, single toilet and it was NASTY! Very dirty!!! The manager was very nice tho.

Decided to try this place for magical dining. The short rib appetizer was good! However, the other items were disappointing. The lemon sauce with the salmon was delicious but the salmon and vegetables had no flavor. The chocolate cake was extra hard. We also ordered calamari, that had no flavor or taste as well. It was underwhelming for the drive we took to try the place but the service and staff were super friendly and awesome.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Celebration at The Back Room Steakhouse My husband and I visited The Back Room Steakhouse to celebrate my achievement as an OCPS Support Person of the Year Finalist, and it was the perfect place for such a special evening. Parking was plentiful, well‑lit, and felt very safe. The entrance is tastefully decorated and inviting, and we were greeted and seated promptly upon arrival. The ambiance is warm, relaxing, and strikes the ideal balance between fine dining and feeling right at home. Our server, Olivia, was outstanding. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and went above and beyond to make sure our evening was enjoyable and memorable. Her service truly elevated our experience. We were also visited by the owner, Mr. Conlan. I had the chance to thank him personally for the thoughtful gift card he sent to my school in recognition of my achievement. It’s rare to see a business owner take the time to support and celebrate members of the community in such a genuine and generous way. This is what true community looks like. For dinner, I ordered the blackened steak tips with gorgonzola, and my husband had the sautéed Australian lamb chops. Both dishes were cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and generously portioned. We finished with a delicious chocolate cake topped with maple icing — the perfect ending to a wonderful night. I highly recommend The Back Room Steakhouse for anyone looking for exceptional food, outstanding service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We look forward to returning again soon!

Google
I've been to Backroom Steakhouse between a half dozen and a dozen times. It is absolutely on of the hidden gem restaurants in Florida. The experience last night was absolutely perfect. Every detail was perfect. the Artichoke Dip was crazy good. Do yourself a favor and get that app! The steak was perfect. The service and atmosphere was a 10/10.

The Back Room Steakhouse is a hidden gem in Apopka, FL. It's outside is very unassuming. The service was great. Our server, Emma, was AMAZING! She patient and kind, and offered service with a smile. She checked to make sure everything was ok several times throughout our meal. She refilled water glasses without having to be asked. Her attentiveness was greatly appreciated. The food was delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly. You know it's good when there's no need to add steak sauce. Kudos to the chef! I would be remiss if I didn't share about drinks. Another homerun! The peach sangria was so good and refreshing. The espresso martini tasty as well. Even the water was good! I think it's fileted. I will most definitely be a repeat customer and I will most definitely recommend and tell my friends about my new favorite steak restaurant.

Google
Birthday dinner for my husband, just us two. Escargot & fried green tomatoes as appetizers. Both were delicious. Pomegranate sangria was fantastic, and very large. I had sirloin and lobster tail with risotto. Sirloin was cooked fine, just a little chewy. Lobster tail was good- not great. Risotto was FABULOUS! Husband had ribeye, creamed spinach and potato. Again, cooked fine, and he enjoyed it. Creamed spinach was very liquidy and had little flavor. Overall, service was good. Server was nice, so I'll leave that there. I had to ask her about specials as I had overheard another service tell the table next to us. She fumbled and said not sure we still have, then found it and was less than enthusiastic telling us. Manager stopped by our table a number of times, he was attentive and present. We had no real complaints, it was good - not great. We took dessert home, key lime pie & carrot cake, both were delicious. A+ for the server who provided a candle in addition to our desserts. Bill was appropriate for what we ordered, not overpriced in today's market. My husband enjoyed it.

Yelp
This is a great steak place and should be on your list. DO KNOW that they cook with seed oils and not tallow so ask in advance. The staff is fabulous and quite knowledgeable. The pork belly bacon appetizer could be much larger to compete with other places but the flavor is good. Overall a good place to go if you're in the area!

Yelp
Went for magical dining. Had a 7p reservation and was sat right away, the place looked steady busy. The place gives me the backnin the day steakhouse vibes (if thatvmakes sense). The staff was nice. Our waitress helped me decide which martini to choose from. I decided on the pineapple express. Ooohhh so good and strong. Plus there is pineapples on a metal stick placed as a garnish that was soaked in alcohol. Gives you that woah expression when eating them. My friend ordered thw white peach sangria and truly loved it. As our appetizers, ordered the short ribs eggrolls and Artichoke dip with pita chips. The egg rolls were seasoned well and full of meat. The Artichoke dip was really good and I loved that the pita chips still had the shoft aspect to it. We both decided to do the 12oz NY strip. I chose the mushrooms and mashed potatoes as my friend chose steak fries and baked potato. The steaks were cooked perfectly to temp and seasoned well. All the sides were delicious. Lastly, there was 3 deserts listed for magical dining but our waitress told us other ones that they had. I had a blueberry lemon cheesecake thing. Lemon cake but blueberry cheesecake in-between. It was so delicious, wish I had another piece. My friend gotten their NY cheesecake taken home and enjoyed it late at night. Even though this place is nowhere near home to me, I would take another trip there!

Yelp
About a week ago, I ordered the filet mignon and lobster tail with a loaded baked potato, and it was absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked and worth every penny. That great experience made me excited when my husband suggested we order from Backroom Steakhouse again tonight for a cozy movie night at home. As always, the service was excellent and the atmosphere welcoming when we picked up our food. Unfortunately, the meal itself was a huge disappointment compared to last week. I ordered my filet mignon medium-well, but it came out so undercooked and bloody that I ended up throwing most of it away. The lobster tail, on the other hand, was the opposite--overcooked and tough, nothing like the tender, flavorful dish I had before. We spent $223 on this meal, and it was frustrating to have to toss my steak in the trash. I didn't bother calling to complain because I didn't want to drive all the way back for a replacement. Honestly, Backroom Steakhouse has always been a bit hit-or-miss for me. When it's good, it's fantastic, but the inconsistency makes it hard to rely on. I usually order the same thing, so the difference in quality is disappointing. For now, I'll be taking a break from ordering here. I truly enjoy Backroom when they get it right, but tonight's experience was far from the standard I know they can deliver.

Yelp
We had a nice experience at this steakhouse overall for magical dining. The service was excellent--our waiter was attentive, accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. We really enjoyed the appetizers, especially the Short Rib Egg Rolls with tender braised beef and cabbage paired with the ginger beer dipping sauce, as well as the classic Shrimp Cocktail, which was fresh and flavorful. My husband ordered the salmon and really enjoyed it. I ordered the steak, which was cooked well, but I wasn't overly impressed with the preparation--it seemed like it may have been cooked on a flat top, which gave it a slightly unusual texture for a steakhouse cut. The highlight at the end of the night was dessert. We loved everything we tried, and the Key Lime Pie in particular stood out--you can definitely tell it's made in-house with fresh ingredients. It was the perfect way to finish the meal. While the steak wasn't my favorite, the appetizers, desserts, and especially the excellent service made the evening enjoyable.

Yelp
I came here for the magical dining option. The service was really good, especially because we arrived earlier than expected, but they gave us a table right away. The place is loud, so a bit hard to listen my partner while having a conversation. Also, the restroom was a bit dirty. I tried the short ribs egg rolls, by themselves they lacked flavor but it comes with a beer dipping sauce that enhance the flavor a lot. For the main course I went for the upgraded 16 oz ribeye. It was cook medium rare perfectly, but it didn't have any flavor. The fries and mushrooms also lacked flavor. Fortunately they have salt and pepper on the table. Finally, for dessert, the chocolate earthquake was very very rich in chocolate. I love it.

Yelp
Great steaks, great service. We enjoyed eating at the bar as much as the restaurant. They also served a great old fashioned.

Yelp
Immaculate Sunday family dins vibes. This place is the real deal: 15 years in the back-room business (promise, it's not a front). Just damn good food. The baked artichoke dip changed some lives, (trust) just order it. The NY cheesecake was the standout dessert. Also, they know how to Pittsburgh steak. Our waitress Jennifer is absolutely amazing. She made the vibes even better. I'll be back!

Yelp
Came for magical dining. We had reservations but I did show late but we were still able to get a table without any wait. My girlfriend got the chicken Oscar while I got the 12 oz NY strip steak. We both got the braised short rib egg rolls which was probably my favorite. There was also live entertainment which was a pleasant surprise. Service staff was a 10/10 and we will be back.

Yelp
Came back for the lamb chops. We came to celebrate my birthday. They had a card for me at the table when I arrived which was nice. I ordered the lamb chops with Fries and vegetables. My husband ordered off the magical dinning menu which was $40 for three courses. He ordered the short ribs egg rolls, 12oz NY strip steak with mashed potatoes and mushrooms and the chocolate earthquake cake. The food was delicious. Our server was nice. Only thing we didn't love was where were sat. We were sat at the back staring right at the entrance to what we believe was the kitchen. Which was also the employee hang out spot between tables. Need some TV's or something back there so it doesn't feel so excluded from the rest of the restaurant.

Yelp
I've been to The Back Room in Apopka several times, and it continues to be a solid spot for a great meal. The steaks are consistently delicious, and they offer a great wine selection to match. It's one of my go-to places when I'm in the mood for a quality steakhouse experience. The ambiance is usually relaxing and kinda upscale, though on this visit, it was a bit louder than usual. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you're looking for a quieter evening. The only area I'd say needs improvement is the cocktails--they're hit or miss. Sometimes they're great, other times not quite up to par, which is surprising given the overall quality of the place. Still, the food always delivers, and I'll definitely be back

Yelp
What a little gem. I can't believe we've lived in the area this long and never been to The Back Room Steakhouse. It was my husbands birthday celebration and the Experience was great. Live music upon entering. Service was really good - Professional and timely. Our meals - the ribeye and the nightly special of mahi mahi with tiger shrimp - were both awesome. Will definitely be back!!

Yelp
What we enjoyed...Magic Mike was entertaining. The spinach artichoke was great. The Oscar chicken was also really good. What we did not like....i understand this establishment is smaller, and that they have a select menu during magical dining. ($40 menus and three courses.) so honestly I understood waiting for a reserved table. We waited approximately 30 minutes after our reservation to be seating. I stood inside waiting while my family waited in the car, there is little to no waiting room. Once we explained we would be doing magical dining my party of four adults one child, shared 2 menus on the table. No still bottled water. The beer menu wasn't updated. Once our food was ordered and put it our entrees came out rather quickly. Dessert was brought out before asking if we were ready or if we wanted boxes. Checks come. And I'm confused on whether or not they have a cash register. My mom paid cash and or waitress was stressed trying to find change. She asked other servers. But it took about 8 minutes to get. Idk she seemed stressed I know it was busy. I think they're trying to do their best so I think magical dining does bring them traction. But I think they're small establishment that is actively figuring it out

Yelp
Decided to pop into this neighborhood steakhouse for Prime Rib Night on Sunday. Made a last minute reservation for 4 with no issue. We were seated within 5-7 min of arrival in a booth as requested. Bread and butter was brought to the table right away. More bread and butter was delivered to the table with no issue. A delightful server by the name of Sierra, waited on us while also attending the bar. She did it flawlessly and her personality was upbeat through the whole meal. 3 of us got the Prime Rib and one of us ordered the NY strip. Everyone's meal was great. Maybe a little too much salt on the Prime Rib for my taste, but otherwise everything was great. The desserts on the menu looked fabulous but we were all too full to try them. All in all, a good solid meal. Sierra made the whole night though. I would request her when I return.

Yelp
We came here for Magical Dining and its didn't disappoint. Steaks were high quality and tender. Service was somewhat good, but could have been better for the price point definitely. Crab cakes were nice and full of meat (which is an A+ in my books). It was quiet and intimate, but a little noisy during happy hour as expected. Great happy hour deals.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
The appetizer and dessert was amazing. The entree was literally horrible. I'm not sure if it was because we came for magical dining but the food was awful. They also added a 20% gratuity onto the check. The steak tasted like boiled sausages. I would rate this place a negative 5. Edit since my post is "ignorant and only came for a discount " 1. Ruth Chris 2. Eddy Vs 3. Morton's 4. Charley's 5. Ocean Prime 6. Even Longhorn Way better restaurants to spend your money at. That I go to with my family year around. And based off the managers comment I still stand strongly on my review. Be blessed everyone hope this finds you well. I shouldn't get criticized based of my personal opinion and experience. Also : you're saying that I only get to come out to eat when it's a discount.is that because I'm black so you're assuming that me and my family can't not afford to eat out. Priceless so not only is the food bad the manager is racist as well. Got it.
google avatar

Chrissy B.

Yelp
Really good food! Unfortunately, my most recent experience was overshadowed by the manager's attitude. Instead of being welcoming, the manager came across as dismissive and unnecessarily rude, which really took away from what could have possibly been an enjoyable evening. If you're just here for the food, you'll likely be pleased. But if customer service and atmosphere are important to you, be prepared for a less-than-friendly interaction. With better management, this restaurant could easily be a 5-star spot easily.

Yelp
My husband asked me to pick a place to eat and they must have steaks on the menu, and I chose Back Room! Although I was not feeling well, as he had gave me his cold, I still made the reservation and got ready to go! Nestled between other shops in a plaza, this place stood out with its well lit sign and outdoor seating. As we walked in, we were greeted with a beautiful smiley faced girl who had us seated immediately. Our waitress was so helpful as I told her that my medication required me to eat smaller meals and she pointed out that the hubs and I could share a 16 oz! So that's what we did! This place is now on our Top 5 of flavorful and tender steaks ! Thank you for the attention and care! We will be back!
google avatar

Eric L.

Yelp
We have never had a bad meal at Back Room. The steaks are flavorful and delicious. This time I ordered the prime boneless ribeye and it's probably my all time favorite from this restaraunt. We decided to bring our own bottle of wine this time around and they charged us a $25 corking fee. Great service and the staff is very attentive.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was delicious, I'm in a food coma as I sit in the parking lot and leave the review. Nicks service was impeccable. The place is super cute kinda steampunk vibe to the place but very nice for a place to go have a dinner . We had the beet salad and pork belly appetizer along with the Chilean Seabass delicious topped it off with crème brûlée.

Yelp
Went to Backroom with my wife and friends. Everyone had been in the hospitality industry at one time . I am a corporate Chef and once owned a fine dining Steakhouse downtown Orlando. Food and service were amazing. We all said it was the best steak/ meal we have had in many years. Not pretentious at all . Owner was waking the dining room talking to guests. You would not know he was the owner due to his busboy like outfit and very casual and welcoming demeanor. We will definitely be back , can't recommend this restaurant enough. Service all the food not just the steak was amazing.

Yelp
This is a very delayed review as I thought I already wrote one! We dined at Back Room Steakhouse over the summer after learning about it from Orlando Weekly. We don't go to Apopka much at all but it sounded good so we figured we'd take the drive out there. Back Room is very unassuming, it's located in a modest shopping plaza, easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. My boyfriend and I each ordered an Old Fashioned (they have many varieties of Old Fashioneds if thats your thing) and elected to do the Bite30 menu. Like I said, this review is overdue but Bite30 includes an appetizer, entree and dessert. We each ordered our meals and bread was also delivered to our table. The portions of all items were great and the taste was excellent too. We both got steaks (because you kind of have to at a steakhouse, right?) which were cooked correctly and I got the short rib egg rolls for appetizer. My BF got the coconut shrimp for his app, we were both impressed! I'm so happy that we learned about Back Room, its a bit of a drive but now we know it's worth it!
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
Okay we had to go back for our second visit. I can tell you it doesn't get much better than this! What I really love is that it's a casual and not an ostentatious mistake house. Don't get me wrong it's not an expensive, but it's worth every single bite. Last night my wife treated herself to a beautiful fillet with mushrooms and a baked potato and I got the 16 oz ribeye with Gorgonzola and killer risotto along with the roasted brussel sprouts. I truly have not found a better steakhouse to go to even once that cost twice as much and almost demand that you have an expense account. This is a little place out in the middle of Florida hills and a strip mall, you would never expect to find a fantastic steakhouse like this anywhere like this. I don't normally like the name servers, but if you get a chance ask for Kevin he knows how to read a table and you will have an experience that will last you for a long time.

Yelp
This is the best steakhouse in Orlando!! With a lot of things that you can't find anywhere, like the Steak Diane that was out of this world!! The escargot wish I just love.. The Shrimp scampi was outstanding and the banana foster that you cant find anywhere! And therenis a lot more!! I just keep thinking about it , because it was just a perfect menu for someone like me, If you are looking for a steakhouse that is different from the rest. This is the one for you!!

Yelp
We went to the restaurant for an evening of great dining with friends. Imagine our surprise to find that each of us had been contemplating the excellent service being provided by the 'waitress'. Naomi took a personal interest in each of the four of us and sharing her recommendations. Additionally, she provided some insight on the restaurant's history and entertainment schedule. We each committed to recommending the restaurant largely due to the great service of Naomi. Thanks

Yelp
This place is great, the staff is super friendly and the food has always been great. My husband approves of the steak, which is saying something! We love coming to this restaurant.

Yelp
Truly this, hands down, was the best steak and meal I've ever had. The flavor was astounding, the service was excellent, the attentiveness was perfect, our drinks never went empty and all of our needs were met. The portions were so fulfilling! You definitely get your moneys worth! Truly a place I will recommend to anyone and everyone I know. The ambiance was incredible and there was even a magician that entertained us!! 10 out of 10!

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this local steakhouse. They participated in Magical Dining this year. What a great time to try their menu! This is located at the end of a shopping center. There is ample parking. I did make a reservation online. Upon entering, we were quickly seated. The restaurant is dark and has an elegant dining feel on one side and pub/sports bar on the other. Our server was amazing. We chose to order off the Magical Dining menu. All items are normal menu size except for the artichoke dip. It is a smaller portion than usual. We started with the artichoke dip and the short rib egg rolls. I really liked the egg rolls. They were jam packed with meat and I loved the sweet chili dipping sauce. The bread with olive oil was good also. We both ordered a strip steak that was cooked well. The veggies were bland. We ended with key lime pie and the chocolate earthquake. The chocolate earthquake was rich and reminded me of a ding dong hostess cake meets brownie. Overall this was a nice dining experience with excellent service! No

Yelp
I went there with my girlfriends to celebrate birthdays and trying out their magical dining menu! The restaurant is not huge but it is cozy! Our server Caleb is amazing! He is so attentive and friendly! We have to wait for about 30 min for one of our friend to arrive due to crazy rain and traffic! Caleb has gave us more bread and dip for the time being! The food are amazingly good! I have white peach sangria, so yummy! I got the rib spring rolls and the portion is huge, I only ate half of one ( I got two in the serving). Then I have the 10oz New York steak with mushroom and sautéed veggies. The steak is so yummy no A1 sauce is needed! Then I have chocolate earthquake cake, I only have a little bit cause by now I was too full to finish! I will definitely come again!!!

Yelp
For a neighborhood steakhouse this hit the spot. Unpretentious, friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. Next time I want to come eat a steak and sit at the bar. Dinner starts off with warm fresh bread. I ate the wedge salad, filet, loaded baked potato and asparagus. Would order again. My husband had the porterhouse and enjoyed it as well. We bought the Groupon deal-totally worth trying! Thanks again!

Ron O.

Yelp
Good not great. Our waiter was fantastic. Very personable, he made the evening. I had the strip steak that was cooked correctly but a so so steak. Others had salmon and chicken that I would order next time. Overall I enjoyed myself and would go back to try other dishes.

Yelp
Another amazing experience at Backroom. Tonight we got filets and the monkfish and lobster special. The egg rolls are amazing!!! And the desserts are even better. Love the service as well! You can't go wrong here for dinner!!

Yelp
One of my favorite Magical Dining spots is The Backroom Steakhouse. We stepped out and enjoyed a magical dining date night evening . The customer service was amazing and the food and drinks are 10/10 .. add them to your list to visit for MD !! They do add a 20% gratuity automatically to MD orders .

Yelp
We chose a local spot for my mother in loves birthday dinner. This was a great pick. We made a reservation, was seated immediately. The food was all fresh and delicious. My favorite part of the dinner was the appetizer. The baked artichoke dip looks better than the presentation to say the least. It was one of the best ones I've had. We will be back. It's an intimate space. Great for small groups, date night, or just a good steak dinner.

Yelp
Amazing magical dining experience! Loved the service and the food! The braised beef eggrolls were so good and meaty. The coconut shrimp (6) were yummy. The steaks come with 2 sides so opted for the Cesar salad and the smashed potatoes. Loved how my ribeye came out medium and cooked perfectly. The chocolate earthquake was amazing with so many layers that I didn't get sick eating it. Definitely more for dessert later. I was stuffed after my meal and very pleased with this magical experience!

Yelp
Always a vibe at back room steakhouse. Very old fashion atmosphere, with wood floors. The food is always on point. And if it's not to your picky liking, the manager will make special accommodations.

Yelp
We had another wonderful Christmas Eve meal here. This has become our go-to place for special occasions. Service was, once again, perfect and so warm & friendly. Steaks cooked perfectly, seasonal cocktails delicious! Love the Brussels sprouts and mushrooms sides! Lobster Mac n cheese was fantastic too, not just scraps of lobster like some serve. Can't wait to return!

And only because I can't leave 0 stars! Ordered a medium rare steak, which came out medium well. The manager agreed with me and said he'd remake it. The OWNER came out with the steak cut in half, and said, "It looks perfect. Are you sure you don't want this?" I said it was WAY too overcooked and asked for it to be remade. Everyone at our table finished their meals, and despite my asking two different people where my meal was, it never showed up. I finally got up, and asked the manager to cancel my meal. The owner walked up, put his hands in my chest, and said, "There was nothing wrong with your steak". I told him to get away from me, and he said, "I do t want you back in my restaurant!" No problem. And then, he added a 20% tip for the entire bill, including the wine and cocktails. Comped NOTHING. We have bern here before, and told them that. Here is what I ate for dinner: PBJ We will NOT be going back.

Yelp
I finally got to check out this restaurant & it was most certainly worth the wait! This Apopka restaurant was on the 2021 Bite 30 list so I was able to get a 3 course meal for $30. Pictured is their sautéed herb crusted bone-in pork chop paired with garlic smashed yukon gold potatoes. The appetizer short rib egg rolls & dip were delicious & the salmon was cooked to perfection. This meal certainly did not disappoint! They were also on the Magical Dining list so be sure be to take advantage of these deals!

Yelp
The Backroom Steakhouse in Apopka, Florida, has exceeded all expectations every time I dine here. From the warm ambiance to the impeccable service, every detail was carefully curated. The steaks were cooked to perfection, showcasing the chef's expertise. The sides are delicious and the dessert.. that cheesecake is perfection. Even though I don't drink alcohol, I noticed the extensive wine selection as well as a full bar. With that said, I love that they have a couple of mocktail selections to choose from! A truly exceptional dining experience, deserving of five stars.

Yelp
Food was great, Emma, our server was awesome tonight! The ambiance very pleasant and welcoming! We ordered a slice if cheese cake to go. Paid $8 got home and it was a sliver. We planned on sharing it together. My recommendation do not order the cheese cake. My first and last time! Visited and enjoyed the BackRoom on several occasions. I plan on visiting again just skip the desert!

Yelp
Came here for the first time for Magical Dining with a friend. We were seated at the bar since the restaurant was pretty packed. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff members willing to help. I ordered the fried calamari, 14 oz New York Strip with mashed potatoes, and for dessert I got the chocolate earthquake. The fried calamari to be seemed a bit soggy and cold, also it did not have a good crunch at all. My friend also had the same comment. We asked one of the workers that walked by and asked her if it was supposed to be like that and she said yes. That wasn't the best calamari I have had. My friend had the cocktail shrimp and that was pretty good. The NY Strip I had ordered in medium well came out perfect. Very good portion sized where I had to take it home. Season and cooked well. The mashed potatoes was very salty and I could not finish it. The chocolate cake was a bit dry. If you love chocolate this cake is perfect for you.
