If they still have it peep their Yelp check-in offer!
If I'm in this area, it's usually because I'm craving Dandelion Cafe, but today, my craving was for a real deal bagel. So instead of opting for the Dunkin four doors down, I landed here. #supportlocal
It's not my first time, but every time I'm in I admire the small things that make this spot memorable and set them apart from their completion. The Jewish influence is undeniable, stated and unstated from the plaque to the offerings, the bagel clock on the wall is cute enough to make even Eeyore smile, the pastry selection ample, and the customer service (which last trip encouraged me to live a little and try a rye bagel (on the house)), pretty solid. While their location is not set up to accommodate a drive-thru, but they do have covered patio seating for warmer days, a nice touch.
This week's weather called for an oat milk macchiato and sesame bagel with lox spread. This bagel as well as a few other varieties are offered in skinny versions (a thinner bake), if you wish. For a Houston bagel it faired pretty solid, and certainly hit the spot.
From gluten-free bagels to fresh squeezed OJ, challah loaves, cupcakes, a migas bagel and salmon salad, they've got a little something for everyone.
