Wow sugar rush! I got the cookie ice cream sandwich, which is the first one I’ve ever had. You can get a different cookie on top vs bottom so I got one funfetti and one chocolate chip- I’d recommend chocolate chip. I got mint chip ice cream and it was decently good. I’d try a more adventurous flavor if I went back like blackberry bramble. Super small shop and very close to the chase center so gets crowded after a Valkyries game. No indoor seating but outdoor seating available. As someone with an allergy, I appreciated how they had an ingredient list (upon request) for what was in all the cookies and ice cream. There’s the option to heat your cookie sandwich where they put it in a press briefly but my cookies weren’t warmed sufficiently by this. It could’ve been because they were rushing it as it was busy after a Valkyries game let out.

Good ice cream sandwich with lots of options to customize it. Service was great. Gooey butter cookie was delicious. They no longer have the donut option for top/bottom of sandwich, which I really liked when I tried it at their other location few years ago.

Google
Tasty cookie ice cream sandwich. Located in Mission bay on the ground floor of the chase center, it’s a nice spot to get a sweet treat on a warm sunny sf day. A new park is right across the street to sit down and enjoy your cookie sandwich. $10 per sandwich. Lots of cookie and ice cream flavors to choose from.

Google
Tasty ice cream, really nice place, and great customer service. My daughter accidentally dropped her ice cream and was so upset, but they gave her another one for free. Good customer service like this really stands out. We’ll definitely come back!

Google
They stay open late which is a major plus for this area. Decent cookies and ice cream. Good quick fix for a sweet treat.

Google
The gooey butter cookie is really good. I wish they would go back to the original recipe which made the cookie more plump vs skinny. It really makes the cookie a better experience. Still Delicious

Google
Great selection of cookies. Little limited on ice cream flavors, but that is a good thing. It is delicious.

Google
Cool concept and lots of customization available

Yelp
Located right next to the Chase Center, I decided to try this place before a game. Glad I stopped by! Their brownies are on the thinner side, but more dense and chewy which is exactly how I like them. If you prefer a more cake like brownie, maybe try a cookie here instead. The mud pie ice cream is delicious. Nice coffee flavor and paired perfectly with the brownie. The employee was nice and explained a little about my options. She let me know I could do more of a half ice cream sandwich option and that's what I went with. It's a small set up, but there are a handful of tables and chairs outside.

Yelp
I went to a The Baked Bear in San Diego once and have thought about it since. I was thrilled to hear they opened up a location in Chase Center's Thrive City and checked it out today. Friendly staff and some tables outside to sit at. Baked bear specializes in cookie ice cream sandwiches. You pick different cookies for the top and bottom of your ice cream sandwich, or the same cookie. They also have sundaes and combos with brownies. I opted for one gooey butter cake cookie and a chocolate chip cookie with cookie dough ice cream in the middle. They also sell the cookies individually as well. I really like it here because they offer to heat up your cookies and it's amazing because they are soft and delicious. The gooey butter cake cookie is so unique and it's a decadent dessert. So good and highly recommend.

Yelp
Located on the first floor of the Chase Center complex fronting the water, this spot is in a bit of a tricky location which I only found because of a signboard that drew me here. The spot is clean and looks new. Staff is friendly and eager. On the night of the Lady Gaga concert, they switched on the music to get in the spirit along with the crowd. They've got cookies, brownies, and ice cream which can be ordered individually or a sandwich. Fresh off of a recent stop in at Diddy Riese in Westwood, I went for the $10.25 cookie sandwich here. Gasp, this one was a lot better! The cookies are thin and soft. The ice cream is good quality and the scoop is large. And as an added bonus, they'll offer to warm your cookies (no innuendo intended haha) in the waffle iron. I was glad that I did. I got the cookies & cream cookie as well as the gooey butter cake cookie (YUM highly recommend) with a scoop of vanilla with a blackberry or huckleberry swirl (can't recall oops.) It was the perfect treat to share. I hope this place does well. It's got everything going for it!

Yelp
The concept seemed familiar then I recalled I'd taken Finn and his friend to The Baked Bear's first location in North Beach 6 years ago. The Baked Bear in Mission Bay is at the base of the Warriors Stadium. No game day, no line. The concept is an ice cream cookie sandwich with the option of their warming the cookie sandwich in a waffle iron of sorts. You can buy cookie crumbles and chocolate chips, etc to roll onto the edges. It was good, messy (grab a spoon and napkins) and if you're a princess like me, give up trying to eat it as a sandwich after the second bite. For $10+ it's a bit spendy but tasty for an occasional treat- try it! Spotless, mini takeaway spot with outdoor seating.

Yelp
The Baked Bear offers a sweet variety of cookies and ice cream flavors for their ice cream sandwiches. My experience with ice cream sandwiches has not been favorable in the past, but this ice cream shop has changed my mind! In their pop-up event located around the Chase Center, they offered a few cookie flavors, including snickerdoodle & cookie monster (which are the two i got) & chocolate chip & funfetti, and a few ice cream flavors including cookies & cream (the one i got) & bear batter & vanilla. The cookies were crispy and thin, and the cookies & cream ice cream was rich! The ice cream sandwich was not too heavy and satisfied my sweet tooth.

Yelp
Located at the base of Chase Center, The Baked Bear gives your wallet a nice break from arena food pricing. $9.95 ice cream sandwiches & $2.50 cookies are inexpensive ways to celebrate a Dubs win. Cookies we ordered: -- Gooey Butter Cake: a 1:1 replica of the cake version. A crackled powdered exterior with a sweet, almost undercooked inside. Crispy but still chewy. -- Funfetti: the sprinkles were sweet instead of bland & waxy, which is usually how funfetti products come across to me. -- Chocolate Chip: a good cookie (something my teachers never called me), but The Baked Bear does their creative flavors so well, I don't want to stick to plain ol' chocolate chip here. That's saying a lot; it's my go-to in most cases. Not your grandmother's bake shop. Amusing & popular food trends make their way into The Baked Bear's delicious cookies.

Yelp
Customer service was excellent. The location being a part of Chase Center is perfect. Great vibes always. My gf and I shared a ice cream cookie sandwich. With chocolate chip and white macadamia nut at each end, with toasted s'mores in the center with nuts. 5 star greatness in every bite. Dangerously good.

Yelp
Great place for a sweet treat!! They have a variety of different cookie flavors that are all super good. I had the lemon cake cookie and it was delicious!! I also tried the blackberry crumble ice cream and was pleasantly surprised. Overall, soft cookies and generous serving of ice cream!

Yelp
Consistent and reliable for sure! I do think there is better quality of ice cream in the city and even arguably in the neighborhood but a reliable staple

Yelp
A SOLID place for dessert! From ice cream to cookies, I feel like both are decently good and you can put them together to get a one of a kind ice cream sandwich. I have been to "Cream", which is essentially the same concept but the Baked Bear is 100% better. The ice cream is super good with classic flavors (cookie dough, mint chip, cookies and cream) but also original flavors (mud pie, bear batter, blackberry crumble) and the cookies are the same. I came around 7pm and they still had fresh cookies coming out, which I was happily surprised by. The sandwiches are big, for me definitely sharing size and I love that you can mix and match which cookies you want. Staff is very nice and even offers to package your order to go.

Yelp
Came here to try out a new ice cream place! Initially came to try the ice cream sandwiches, but was too stuffed from dinner so opted for an ice cream scoop. The service was good, though keep in mind that you can only try two flavors! The ambiance is also nice - I like their neon sign! Keep in mind that the place is quite small but there is a decent amount of outdoor seating. Overall, I enjoyed my ice cream (blackberry crumble) and is definitely one of the more unique and better flavors I've had. Will definitely come back to try an ice cream sandwich someday!

Yelp
Sooo delicious! The cookies alone were so old and chewy! They even warm it up for you. They are super friendly and the place is cute and clean.

Yelp
Christmas Eve treat. Service was friendly and patient. We ordered single scoops, a couple individual cookies and one massive cookie sandwich with Nutella chunk cookie and the crinkle red velvet smashing mud pie ice cream. I added hot fudge drizzle and almonds. Whoa was a massive sandwich. I really couldn't finish it. There were lots of cookie choices and good amount of ice cream too.

Yelp
This was amazing!!!! The cookie ice cream sandwiches were so good. The staff was extremely friendly. It's has a nice little outside seating area, too. The only down side is that it is very expensive. I was not expecting to pay $25 for 2. But, it isn't someplace we would go often.

Yelp
Love having a new dessert place in Mission Bay! It was empty on a Wednesday night, and there's some seating outdoors. I got a single scoop of the Blackberry Crumble flavor, and it was huge! For SF, definitely a good deal for its size. I loved this flavor -- the bits of pie crust added such a good crumbly texture, and the jam was tart enough to balance out the sweetness of the ice cream. They're pretty limited in flavors, but they all looked very good. My friend recommends getting their ice cream sandwiches, so I'll be back to try one of those!

Yelp
You really gotta have a true sweet tooth to be able to eat a whole one of these! Suprisingly got parking right in front on a weekday right before closing time (it's right next to the chase stadium, so I was parking would be horrible) cute quaint dessert spot. Lots of options, almost overwhelming at how many different ways you can go. The worker was nice, and let us know that they also sell cookies the next day at a discounted if they don't sell that night. A cookie with ice cream in it sounds easy to eat, but omg I could only finish half of it. Overall yummy and cute experience! Would recommend for date night out desserts - you can walk around the area while eating :)

Yelp
4.5 stars. Don't have a sweet tooth but this was good! Service: Standard. Workers were friendly and quick. Ambiance: Very small inside. Super clean though. You order and then eat outside. There's a good amount of tables and chairs outside Food: got a snickerdoodle cookie on the bottom, cookies n cream ice cream, and then a chocolate chip cookie on top. Pretty good and I'm not a big fan of sweets. Suggestion: I do wish there was more variety with the ice cream flavors. I'd definitely recommend this place to others. Perfect place to grab dessert and then walk around the park across the street.

Yelp
[not sure why my review was hidden before...] I visited The Baked Bear on opening day and thought it was decent, but nothing extraordinary. I tried the ice cream sandwich and appreciated the interesting flavors they offered. However, I was disappointed to see only six options available, which felt limited compared to what I had seen online. The cookies were freshly baked, which was a nice touch, but even after asking for them to be heated, they arrived colder than expected and were difficult to cut with the plastic spoons provided. Overall, it's an okay spot for a quick dessert, but not something I'd go out of my way for.

Yelp
We had the coffee with chocolate and cookie dough, I tried it with cookies and cream cookies. The cookies were underdone and cold, even though the person helping us put it in the warmer. The ice cream was entirely unremarkable, my partner found it to be bitter. Can't imagine going back.

Yelp
Great new spot for us and the kids. The service was very good and welcoming. They even customize and warm up the cookies for the ice cream sandwich!

Mari C.

Yelp
SO glad there's a new location! I used to always go to the one on Columbus st but finding parking here is much easier. The older lady working there is the sweetest!! Always puts a smile on my face when I see her working. They have limited ice cream flavors but at least they had the blackberry crumble (my favorite). Portions of the ice cream sandwiches are pretty big and def worth your money. I always go out of my way to get Baked Bear, it's THAT good!! ps. please add a location in SJ Ice cream: 10/10 Service: 10/10

Yelp
Conveniently located and ready to go! Service was very good and they had a great selection of icecream and cookies!

Yelp
Awesome service and excellent ice cream sandwich made to order!!! Right near Chase Center in San Francisco. So glad we stopped by and tried them out!!!'

Yelp
Needs to update their business hours asap so people are not showing up when closed! Arrived at 8:57 and the signed was blinking "open". Got out of my car and walked up the lady turned the sign off and locked the doors. She didn't even want to talk or look at me when I knocked, super rude. On Google and Apple Maps it says it closes at 10pm. 2 more people showed up after I did. I recommend Insomnia Cookies it's only about a 10min walk from here, their business hours actually match what's posted and their desserts much more delicious.

Adam F.

Yelp
I came to the grand opening today to try some ice cream sandwiches because I loved their other location in North Beach. As expected, the ice cream sandwiches were amazing and cookies were freshly baked. I had the gooey butter and red velvet cookies, which are their cookies of the month. The staff was sooooo nice and recommended my cookies and ice cream and I loved the atmosphere, being so close to Chase and Bay Park. I highly recommend anyone visiting Chase Center or that lives in Mission Bay to visit!!!!
