The Baker's Table

The food was really really good at least the almost world famous Reuben sandwich was really really good. My wife got the turkey sandwich which is okay but when she tasted my sandwich the almost world-famous Reuben she had to order another sandwich just like mine to take home for dinner.

Had a quick pit stop to get croissant and they are delicious. We will back again to try breakfast if God Willing.

We happened upon this bakery & the quaint.little town by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pastries we bought Togo. They have many vegetarian /non meat options on the menu. Would definitely come here for breakfast next time we are in the area .

Stopped on my way north based on google reviews. The baked goods must be good (I’m gluten free), otherwise I can’t figure out the high review numbers. Ordered huevos rancheros and a side of crispy bacon and a coffee. It was nearly $30. The coffee was fine. The bacon was soggy and flaccid. The “huevos rancheros” was two undercooked eggs on a tortilla with some canned salsa. I actually left it on the table with one bite taken because it wasn’t worth eating. Bummer.

We had some pastries and very good coffee for breakfast! The service was friendly and perfect. We will definitely come back if we are around SYV.

YUM!!! Every once in awhile one finds a gem of a place, where one wants to come back to again and again. To try all of their mouth watering temptations one at a time. Knowing that each croissant, scone, macaroon, quiche, breakfast and lunch item will explode all of your 5 senses at once. Did I mention their coffee, breads, and helpful caring service. Stop what you're doing, and head to Santa Ynez. But get there before 2, because they sell out fast.

I have to disagree with the guy who claimed to have "canned salsa" on his huevos rancheros. If he cannot discern the difference between canned salsa and salsa scratch made from dried Chiles each and every day, I have to question the rest of his review. And I have spent plenty of time in that kitchen and watched it being made with my own eyes. Don't go by the review. Try it for yourself.

Coffee and breakfast with our toddler on Sunday morning was very enjoyable. The atmosphere and vibes inside are wonderful. We ordered at the counter, and our drinks and food arrived quickly — even though they were freshly prepared. All was delicious! They seem to have a good amount of staff to keep things running smoothly, and everyone was very friendly.
