Very deceiving from the exterior...you might say what is this place?... but upon waking in it's a very cool historic building, dim lighting, pretty wallpapers and very cozy. We sat at a table at the downstairs bar. The drink menu was amazing. So many creative options! You'll have to Google the ingredients to figure out what to order. The presentation of the cocktails was top notch. Beautiful and delicious concoctions. The Chinese food (Sichuan Garden - same building and part of the bar) was also very good. Recommend the pan fried dumplings and Prosperity Noodles with beef. Can't wait to come back and visit the upstairs bar when open. 🍸PS - put server Mike was awesome 👍🏼

We only stopped for cocktails, but this is an experience worth making the time for. The bartender was super knowledgeable, had amazing suggestions, and took the time to really explain and explore a number of cocktails, and what ended up hitting the table was exquisite. I will absolutely be coming back here. If you're into real cocktails, this is the place.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior! This hidden gem tucked away in a nondescript building boasts an interior that's pure charm. Think dim lights, flickering candles, and a cozy, English pub atmosphere. The real magic lies in the curated bar menu. Don't hesitate to chat with the bartenders - they're incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. We took their recommendations and were blown away by the drinks. The appetizers were equally fantastic - a perfect complement to the ambiance. This is a must-visit for anyone seeking a unique and intimate bar experience!

Google
The food and drinks were excellent. We got several things and enjoyed all of it. The portions were bug enough to share and the prices were about what I expected. The service was okay. The staff was very nice but a little slow. The dining room is spread throughout several smaller rooms so that might be why. Will definitely be back!

Loved the decor. Reminded me of old English pubs. The staff is great. Food was quite average. Love their chilly peppers. Good part is for main course they can substitute meat with any veggies/tofu. I always have hard time to find good vegetarian food options but they did a pretty decent job. This place is well known for cocktails and my husband loved everything he tried.

Google
Located at Woburn, a Chinese Sichuan Garden II joint with craft-cocktail which is just a simple building on the outside with an amazing interior. Loved the mocktails and cocktails served from the bar, real good mix. The foods are amazing, some on a more spicier side to our spice level but the serving size, taste and presentation are awesome. Loved the staff that accommodated us, they are so nice and friendly. Would love to come back and bring some friends with us the next time.

Google
Swanky bar with great sichuan food! It captures New England vibe and the Sichuan flare. Service was ok/good, good was excellent, drinks were excellent. There was a very loud table of bros that was just making being in the tiny dinning room feel so uncomfortable.

Google
Upstairs the atmosphere is 5 stars and I’m really knit picking here but downstairs in the dining rooms (not near the bar) it can be hard to hear your party due to the other patrons. This restaurant is amazing though, the food, the drinks and the staff are top notch. The building is a historical piece of art as well. Highly recommend the flip fantasia drink (upstairs) and the eggplant.

Yelp
We've been here over the years and have sat upstairs, downstairs at the bar, and downstairs at a table. The szechuan chicken wings are memorable. If you're looking for spicy Szechuan food and fun cocktails with twists on classic Mai Tais, this place is great. Never had a problem until we tried to bring our toddler and asked if they had high chairs, and the guy outside said "no we don't do that" and basically turned us away. Minus1 star for that dude. Haven't been back since.

Yelp
Drinks great Bartender super nice Appetizers very good- wings and dumplings Entrees terrible Overcooked mushy bok choi with mushy fish in spicy sauce My wife's pork noodle dish had overcooked noodles in spicy sauce with no sign of pork Same experience 2 months ago Great drinks and appys, bad entrees

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times and each experience has been amazing. I've been to both bars, the Trading Co (upstairs) and the Baldwin Bar (downstairs). Even though they are housed in the same location, keep in mind that they do have different drink menus (the food is the same) and different ambiances. Either way, make sure to make a reservation and be mindful when you're making the reservation since there are two bars! On to the food and drink...The food is good and the drinks are even better! I've had their scallion pancake, prosperity noodles (spicy, but a must try!!), spicy dried rub beef brisket, and tangerine chicken. Everything was high quality and well-cooked. I loved the scallion pancake as it was light, crispy, and flakey, just like a scallion pancake should be. The tangerine chicken was also really tasty; there was a perfect breading-to-chicken ratio and the sauce it was covered in wasn't too sweet. Their Sichuan food, the beef brisket and prosperity noodles, was some of the best I and my friends have had. There was this nice slightly numbing flavor that wasn't too overwhelming. Drink-wise, I'll have to split it up based on the two different bars. - Baldwin Bar, Downstairs: I've ordered the Halo Halo and Chopstick Mai Tai. The Halo Halo is a really great frozen cocktail, you can taste the ube and isn't spirit-forward at all. I really recommend this drink. The Chopstick Mai Tai is also really tasty and paired well with all the food we got. I also got a Passionfruit Daquiri on the house during one of my visits (have I mentioned amazing service!). - Trading Co., Upstairs: I've had their spin on a Piña colada, the Avenue of Giants, and the Gold Ceremony. The drinks are a bit fancier upstairs as well as in the dining rooms. I really loved the strawberry mascarpone espuma that was a part of the Avenue of Giants since it was so light and flavorful. The Piña colada was so tasty too and our bartender was so kind and made it just for us. The Gold Ceremony was really spirit-forward but also very good. Overall, this place is a must-visit. I love the drinks, food, and service. Our servers have been amazing EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The only thing I will say though is that you have to make a reservation. This place gets busy, even on weekdays. They have a parking lot (which is a bit small) but I've always been able to find parking.

Yelp
Came here with a group and was pretty pleased! Service was lovely; our waitress was very attentive. I was particularly impressed with my mocktail which was delicious, flavorful, and made with just as much attention as an alcoholic beverage. (Some places treat mocktails as just a throwaway item on the menu.) We got dumplings for our appetizer and they were hearty with some nicely cooked dough. However, I wasn't too wowed by my beef lo mein. Very little beef and just didn't taste any different or special than a lo mein you'd get at a simpler establishment. The space itself is really unique; you could totally dress up or down depending on the occasion. It did feel quite humid in there though.

Yelp
I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I come in here. I was so happy that my friend took me to this place! Drinks for epic the service was awesome and the food was good. The building itself is great in its own right, and has such a cool history! I highly recommend you make reservations!

Yelp
Neat basement bar in an old town building. Creative cocktails and fried Asian fusion food. Wings, Rangoons, fried rice were flavorful.

Bob L.

Yelp
An excellent experience start to finish. Cool vibe - it's in an old mansion that dates to mid 17th century. Two separate bars with different craft cocktail styles. We sat downstairs - my wife had the Trader Vic Mai Tai and loved it. I had the Uncle Harvey's airplane. Really well executed drinks and nicely balanced flavors. Not your avg local Chinese rest Mai Tai (they have their place and I love those as well). The food is done by the Sichuan Garden restaurant. While it's a more limited menu than your avg place the food is well above average. As close to authentic Sichuan as I've had in some time. Service was very good. Attentive without hovering. Never waited on a drink, etc My ONLY concern about my review is others will find out about this place ;-)

Yelp
Points for being the only place like it around Woburn. This is the spot you party at in Woburn. Trendy crowd. Good looking people. So the setup is really cool. The place is designed with a cool island feel. Outdoor patio tables. Music. A cool interior. It's the most energized spot in the burbs. Growing up, we really never had many options for Thai, Japanese, etc. One thing we did have was Americanized Chinese food. This place brings me back to being a kid, eating dishes like sesame chicken or shrimp, sweet and sour, fried rice, etc. The combination of savory and sweet is so good. This place reminds me of this spots in NY I grew up on. The duck was super dry, but everything else was really good. I was so looking forward to the duck and ended up leaving more than half on the plate. Fried rice was awesome. I really enjoyed it. The sesame shrimp definitely brought me back. This is the place I'll go to satisfy my craving for Chinese food. I'll definitely come back for some night time drinking with the trendiest crowd in Woburn.

Yelp
Found this hidden gem one night after work when I didn't want to sit in holiday traffic. So I decided to get drinks with a coworker! They were great drinks! The bartender was very great with recommendations!

J. Kaye B.

Yelp
Mice were running around the dining room for the entire time with no response from management.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in here a few weeks ago on our way back from another restaurant and we asked for seats at the bar. We were told it would be a 4 hour wait, so our eyebrows raised and our interest was piqued. Four hours? We hoped that meant this place was incredible. So he booked us dinner for a week later. Our waitress was amazing- super friendly, attentive, and helpful. We appreciated and enjoyed her service. The drinks my husband ordered were both good... as other reviews mentioned, heavy on the ice. He enjoyed them. I tried one and thought it was tasty. The food was mediocre. The sesame shrimp I ordered had an extremely thick sauce slathered on top that didn't have a ton of flavor other than "sweet." It wasn't awful.. wasn't great either. Shrimp sizes were decent. The Dan Dan noodles had about 1 TBSP of finely ground pork on top (So finely ground that we didn't even taste it). All we could taste were the Szechuan peppercorns that were all through it.... If you've never experienced these before, they're gonna numb your tongue and make you feel like maybe you're having an allergy attack. An interesting experience to say the least. My husband's dry chicken dish was the same... peppercorns galore. Not much flavor other than that. The crab rangoons? Delicious. Our favorite part of the meal. 10/10 recommend. We would go back for drinks and rangoons, perhaps, if we were in the area and a table was available.

Yelp
I had been hoping to come here for several years, and finally got the opportunity this week. I was honestly a bit let down, and I'm not sure I'll bother to come back. First off, the service was remarkably mediocre. For a place that is booked start to finish all night and charges the prices they do, I shouldn't have to flag the waiter down to order another $22 drink. Food came quick and so did the drinks, once they were finally ordered. Food was great, perhaps not quite as good as sichuan gourmet, but really close. We got a few apps and shared a main, and I was very happy with everything we ordered- it tasted fresh and a step waaaay above what you normally get for Chinese food. The let down was really around the drinks and prices. The cocktails were fun and inventive, but they were weak, expensive, and short. I ordered too, and they erred heavily into "wildly creative" and not enough into "good". Peanut oil is great in my Chengdu chicken, maybe not as much in my cocktail. The second drink I got was so heavily frothed that it was hard to taste the cocktail beneath. The two drinks I got were $17 and $18, and they ranged from 17-22$. Food was similarly expensive, $17-22 for an entree that elsewhere costs $15-18. Anyways, I'm happy I finally got to try it out, but the food wasn't worth the drive/wait/price and the cocktails went too far out into space for me.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVED my time at Baldwin Bar. The staff is incredibly friendly and I can't say enough good things about the drinks and food. This is a sister restaurant to Blossom Bar in Brookline and it made a lot of sense when I had learned this. First of all the location is great. I love that you can find something like this outside of the city. The building is an old historic home and you wouldn't expect the inside to look like what it does! So much character! In addition to outdoor seating in the front of the restaurant there are 2 levels inside that offer different menus. We started at the bar on the 1st level and my first drink, the halo halo, was too delicious for words. Being Filipino myself, I knew I had to try this beautiful purple drink. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted even better. I could've drank many more of these all night but I wanted to try different drinks as well~ all of them were delicious but this halo halo was my favorite. The food was also yummy~ Chinese Szechuan food. Some of what we had includes the sichuan pickled veggies, cucumber with garlic sauce, the scallion pancake, crispy lo mein, and a few other dishes I'm failing to remember! But I assure you, everything was tasty and enjoyable!! Needless to say, I will definitely be back next time I'm around the Woburn area. Cannot say enough good things, go check it out for yourself! :)

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal. Went recently for a quick visit after having. Been to Ivory Pearl and Blossom bar. Stopped for a couple seats at the bar and, though the venue was very busy, we were welcomed warmly, seated right away, greeted by the bartender immediately and acknowledged by every other member of the staff, though they weren't our direct service contact. Secondly.... Bro.... House made Ube milk? Fuck. Me. Up. With. That! ...: again actually because she did! Seriously though... the drinks were reminiscent of a flawless cocktail program.... But elevated... then genetically modified .... Fine tuned in the future... then sent back to the year 2024 to our bar seats. The service and hospitality by every single member of that team was, however, outshined even the most ethereal of their cocktails. Ambiance - I mean..... so sexy that it owes me child support. I wish there was another, more advanced way to say "highly recommend" ... (selfishly I want to say "don't go there" so I always have a seat, but it wouldn't be fair). 7/5 stars. Enamored. Thank you.

Rafael B.

Yelp
Love this place, best drinks in the entire region! Great service and great food, kinda hard to book since it so popular but worth booking!

Eugene W.

Yelp
Halo Halo: Really unique drink. The blend of ube and pineapple is really good and the smoothie is perfectly made. I love the basil! The straws they gave me were too short for the glass for some reason. I highly recommend this drink if you like frozen drinks Shogun Highball: Delicious and refreshing. This one goes down very easily. I like this one almost as much as the halo halo. All around very creative drinks, all coming in at around $15-16. Not a huge amount of seating, but it wasn't crowded on a weekday night.

K. K.

Yelp
The one star is purely the food. Service was good and drinks were average to good. We were in the restaurant. The food was just so terrible. I think the best dish was the white rice. Braised pork belly was gross canned pork with a weird brown sauce. Chest nuts texture was gross. Mapo tofu is done better at Panda Express. The thing that had me most off was all the food came out luke warm. Hallmark of a microwave re heat restaurant. I rank tonight's meal on one where I wish I had just gone hungry - it was that bad. I'd come back for drinks only then eat Taco Bell before here next time.

Yelp
This review is multi fold; have been here many times, to the downstairs bar, downstairs regular tables, patio seating, and also upstairs at the trading company. Here we go: 1. Regular restaurant dining is good if you want good food and a quiet place to talk. I don't mind it, if I want a flashier night I'll make the reservation for upstairs or in the downstairs bar. 2. Patio: great addition to this place, adds more seating, and when the weather is nice you get a great breeze and even though there isn't much of a view to speak of, the outside of the building is pretty and they have cute lights up. One note though: if you are mosquito prone wear off spray when you sit outside here; there happens to be a bog type body of water behind the property. 3. Downstairs bar: the OG "Baldwin Bar" - very cute. I've sat both at the bar and at the tables here and enjoyed both seating options equally (I honestly prefer table seating, I don't do that well on a bar stool after a couple drinks lol). Bartenders/servers are fantastic, same great food and a great menu of drinks (make sure you order from the downstairs drink menu as upstairs menu is different drinks) 4. Upstairs: The Baldwin brothers trading company: super cute aesthetic with the library decor. My first visit up here I sat on the couches which was comfortable but I felt a little on display as they're in the middle of the room. Maybe other people wouldn't mind that, I suppose its preference. The drinks upstairs are epic! They have a version of the drinks they can do that has dry ice presentation and if you want to just go on and be extra, go for it! One tip: be mindful when making reservations they have several different options, look over the seats you picked before confirming. *Pictures are from my most recent trip to upstairs*

Yelp
I took my fiancé here to celebrate his birthday on Wednesday night (6:30 pm), we had the best time! We had two rounds of cocktails. My fiancé got the Uncle Harvey's Airplane and I got the Chi-Chi Martini. Our mixologist was friendly and efficient and made excellent cocktails! I will definitely order the Martini again! The ambiance is very comforting and fun, low lights and dim ambiance. For food, we got the tiger skin peppers and pork dumplings. Both were delicious, a little spicy but I loved them! My fiancé got the shredded beef and I got the salt and pepper shrimp and scallops as our entrees. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend this spot. It gives off a remedy Boston bar vibe without having to make the trip!

Yelp
The Baldwin Bar is a mixed bag. I came in for a drink and wanted to sit downstairs at The Baldwin Bar. I was asked if I had reservation and told there was no room but that I could wait and something should open up. The host was nice but very busy on his headset coordinating a spot for me, I was sure. After waiting a short while, I was led downstairs. The bar was completely empty, except for two people. I'm not sure if they were expecting a rush or if this is a procedure for Covid. The atmosphere would definitely benefit from just letting people go down and order a drink... stand if they have to...because this bar needs some life. The setting is lovely, however. So I sit at the empty bar and order a $15 Queen of Tejano. The bartender was aloof. The drink arrived. It was gorgeous and well made drink but served in the tiniest coupe glass I have ever seen. It was good but only lasted a few sips. The bartender never talked, checked on me or asked if I wanted to order food. These reviews seem unmonitored so I guess they are doing great. And I'm glad for them. But I decided to cut my losses, paid and left.

Willie R.

Yelp
I came to the Baldwin Bar at the recommendation of a friend. It was sort of in a random location (which is actually a good sign for speakeasyish places). When you enter the bar, it has an island feel, and while we came pretty much as soon as they open, I can imagine this place is probably super popular for those that live out this way in the burbs. They did a great job of making custom drinks based on our vague suggestions, although several of the drinks we had were fairly heavy on the ice. The menu also gives descriptions for each drink like "juicy, refreshing, crushed ice" which is a fun way to label things. The spicy dry rubbed beef brisket was solid. The waitress who served us most of the time was friendly and attentive, like most of the staff, except for one guy who was super brusque and borderline rude. Cool place in an unexpected location!

R W.

Yelp
Service was terrible and hostess was so rude . Ambiance was dark and dingy with ac hardly working ..... staff Wouldn't even get a chair for one of our friends when our table had plenty of room to sit they just did not want to accommodate us at all. They have the attitude like they are the show and customers do not matter when the food was ok at best and the drinks for 18$ were so small and weak. There are so many rules for this place when you first walk in the staff seemed overwhelmed do yourself a favor Save your money, avoid this dungeon and go elsewhere as I know we will never go back ever again.

J D.

Yelp
We have been to the Baldwin many times and it always is great. The food is delicious, the artistic cocktails are magnificent! The specialTy cocktail recipes cannot be altered (I.e if you prefer vodka to rum ) but they have a full bar and they add a special touch. The server Dreigo is phenomenal with great food recommendations ! A great place to have a meal and cocktails . Reservations recommended .

Kim D.

Yelp
Small portions, extremely fatty (spare ribs) raw broccoli, smokey rice. We won't be back.

Elle B.

Yelp
Best Sichuan restaurant to date. Amazing atmosphere, food, service, and drinks. The bar is where it's at!

Sawyer E.

Yelp
How you could not give this place a 5 star rating is beyond me. I have now gone to the Baldwin Bar and the Baldwin Sons Trading Co. 6 times in the past 2 months, and every experience is unique, taste bud tingling, and amazingly fun. First is the drinks. I am an upstairs, Baldwin Sons Trading Co. fan, but I have yet to be disappointed. This is one of the only places where you can help your server guide you, pick a liquor, pick some tantalizing, exotic fruits, pick a crazy vessel and whatever comes out knocks you on your Baldwin bottom. Shared drinks are especially fun with dry ice smoke...great to impress that special someone ; ) Then there is the food. If you like spicy, Szechuan goodness, you can't get any better. Some of my favorites are the pickled vegetables (I promise they are super legit), the cumin fish, the a plate of the plum pork. Gets right at your out of the norm, Chinese food itch. The service and ambiance may be one of the best parts. Dark lighting, leatherbound books, do you like luxury? I do! And the servers are constantly helpful and genuinely love to be there. Oh Baldwin friends, I'll be back, wearing my Hawaiian shirt, dark sunglasses, and crocs.

Sam T.

Yelp
Food is decent. Service is terrible. Came in way prior to closing time on a Thursday and were told they were done serving cocktails. Care and comfort of their guests just seemed to not exist there and the service we did receive on the two nights prior to these two let downs seemed pretentious and entitled.

Vijay S.

Yelp
Love this place, came back here after 2 years. Got the queen of tejano drink, and a custom tropical mezcal drink. The tejano drink is pretty stiff, maybe a bit too much tequila for me to sip on. The mezcal drink was amazing. Got the chengdu chicken. It was dry and had plenty of sichuan peppers. Better to get rice along with it. Would recommend making reservations before coming here.

Shreya T.

Yelp
Absolutely loved it! The cocktails were amazing! We had booked trading Co tables but would recommend book trading Co bar. I'll definitely book Trading Co. next time. Cocktails were sooo good. Such an elaborate cocktail menu We had avenue of giants, gold ceremony, Food was delicious. Should definitely try all the cocktails here. You won't be disappointed

H. Q.

Yelp
The host was horrible to my friends and I and didn't clarify to us that an infant was considered an adult when booking a reservation, so we were literally scolded like we were all preschoolers for not counting my friends 1 year old baby as a guest. Drinks are pretty to look at and photograph, but honestly just super sweet and served in the smallest vessels with a lot of ice. Food is okay. All of our dishes came out cold. If you want authentic, fast, piping hot, Sichuan food, go elsewhere. It's not very catering to the Chinese crowd food-wise.

Connie H.

Yelp
I don't give five stars on Yelp often but this place is the REAL DEAL. I had such a phenomenal experience here last time I went. I'm still smiling from the excellent-ness of the staff and place. Loves: + Kind and cool staff. The staff is so rad. And they even gave us free shots for it being our first time here! + Fantastic cocktails. I cannot remember what we ordered but they tasted and looked great. + Love me a place with some tiki decor The most interesting thing about this place is its location. I was not expecting a good bar in Woburn but lo and behold, this place is legit. Run, don't walk here... or better yet, make a reservation. Cannot wait to be back and bring more friends! :)

Dev T.

Yelp
Had heard a lot of good things about the place. But it is Very overpriced. Mediocre drinks at best. Doesn't live up to the hype. Food is ordinary. Service is okay.

Carol W.

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here for years now, finally! The cocktails are phenomenal! My friend and I had two drinks each. I especially enjoyed the Halo Halo which is like an ube pina colada. I would definitely return for that drink in particular. After our first drink, we ordered the house made Sichuan pork dumplings with chili vinaigrette because I needed some food in me in order to do the second drink! It was a good small sized appetizer for drinking. My friend ordered a drink that had squid ink in it, and I could totally taste the seafood. It was very memorable. I look forward to returning to try more of the Chinese food. Can't wait!

L H.

Yelp
5/5 stars for the Kung pao chicken. Perfectly flavored, sauce not too thick or thin, love the crunchy vegetables with the chicken. 5/5 stars for it having a hip/funky vibe inside. 3/5 stars for everything else. The cocktails - Good, but the ones that come with crushed ice are $15-$18/drink and in four sips you will be done. No, not big sips, it's just there is so much ice and hardly any cocktail. $18 for four sips worth of cocktail?? The entrees (which don't include rice?) - 3+ extra to get rice with any of your $17+ entrees. Give me a break. I pay $17 for kung pao chicken and have to continue to be ripped off by paying EXTRA for any amount of rice. I've never seen such an expensive entree not include even a small portion of rice that's typically a part of the dish. We split the pork dumplings, which were ok, but did not stand out in any way compared to what other restaurants have to offer for pork dumplings. Boyfriend got a beef dish and it was just ok, and cost $18 and didn't come with rice. Would come back for more kung pao chicken, but that is it. Sadly.

Christine F.

Yelp
Five star drinks, three star food. I love the drinks here. We sat on the second floor, technically Baldwin and sons trading co. The drinks here were delicious and beautiful. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. I'm picky with my alcohol, and the ones I tried here were all tasty. In terms of food, it's average Chinese food. Maybe I'm a harsh critic since I grew up eating real Chinese food. But everything tasted too cornstarchy or too sweet or not spicy enough. All in all, still a good meal. This is definitely a come for the drinks...stay for the drinks type place though.

Shirlane C.

Yelp
I grew up going to Sichuan Garden (the restaurant that the Baldwin Bar grew out of) and it still is one of my favorite places to bring friends and family. I highly recommend reservations as this place is popular. I recently have taken an interest in non-alcoholic beverages and this place knocks mocktails out of the park. A lot of places that say they can make good mocktails, will just make you the normal cocktail and remove the alcohol component without much additional thought/attention. However, the team at Baldwin bar really takes it up a notch with their mocktails. They ask for the flavors you like and dislike (relies on you to be okay with trusting them) and they serve you flavorful and delicious cocktails. Their food is also amazing, especially if you order some of the more traditional dishes. I would highly recommend the Dong Po boneless ribs. They are well seasoned and leave your mouth tingling from the spice. We had some leftovers and they also reheated very nicely the next day. I also really enjoyed the prosperity noodles (with beef) and while the dish comes with noodles, the sauce and veggies are wonderful with a side of white rice. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting!

Christina C.

Yelp
The cocktails that were craft are so unique! This is a must visit if you love a good cocktail creation!

Merin E.

Yelp
One of my favorite places! Staff is always super nice and helpful and willing to talk about dishes/drinks if we can't decide. Everything I've had here has literally been the best thing I've ever eaten. I normally like to try something I haven't had each time I come here. Even the simplest dish of the Cucumber & Garlic sauce is my favorite in the Boston area. The Beef with spicy tea sauce, the short rib, down to the pea pod stems w garlic, so heckin good. All of the cocktails I've had are also super balanced and you can tell they're made with quality spirits and ingredients. I love you Baldwin Bar @ Sichuan Kitchen

Yelp
I came here last night with a buddy and was very impressed. It's located in an old yellow house and is really funky. We had a table upstairs by ourselves by a window which was cool. The drink and food menu here are intense so we relied on our waitress for recommendations. The drinks were good but the food was the star of the show. The Scallion Pancakes and Pork Dumplings were delicious. For dinner, the Kung Pao Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Twice Spiced Fish (I believe this is what is was called) were all delicious. The food came out fast too. I'd definitely return here.

Yelp
The ambiance and service is great. You get transported in time. The food was good- asian food and nothing super exceptional. I'd come back to try other dishes.

Yelp
Arrived and there was no parking, had to park across the street at the medical building. The waitress was nice and helped with deciding on drinks but do not understand why there are different drink menus upstairs vs downstairs. The ones we want was upstairs but we were not seated there. However the drinks we ordered did taste good. The food was okay. It was a bit too salty for me. I enjoyed the pea pod stems though.

Yelp
Honestly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. We sat at the bar, and Rodrigo took such amazing care of us. Rodrigo is a pure light of a soul, it's impossible to not smile and enjoy yourself around them. Cocktails crafted with expert care, knowledge, and passion! Phenomenal food, and the vibe is unmatched. I would highly recommend a seat at the bar with Rodrigo if possible!

Yelp
Amazing food and the cocktails are creative and delicious. Food quality and portions were excellent and I love the spicey options! Unfortunately I could not give this place 5 stars due to the (I think he is an owner) front desk concierge...he was rude and curt and treated people with less dignity than a nightclub bouncer. They had a barrier stopping you entering the main area of the restaurant but made you wait in the front lobby until 5:00pm, it was dimly lit and I didn't see the rope. I was embarrassed by him in front of other guests and all they had to do was add a sign at the front so that diners knew what the procedure was!

Yelp
It was cold by the window. They took a long time to bring our drinks. One was wrong. As he hastily dropped them off he said I'll be back although we were ready to order. Upon returning almost 5 minutes later he took our order. The food runner brought our food to the wrong table. Two of our dishes hit their table. She was smart enough to leave one as I believe the other customers touched it. Two of the remaining dishes she brought to us were incorrect. So we continued to wait. Needless to say I'm not rushing back.

Yelp
I've always loved the food and atmosphere at the Baldwin bar. This time was an awful exception. Two dishes and a drink were incorrect. Service was painfully slow. I haven't been in awhile and I hope this isn't a downward slide - it will be some time before I try again.

Yelp
Such a fun spot for drinks and the food is always delicious. The ambiance is different on each floor. I like the bar area it's more chill. The dining rooms are a little fancier. And the service is always great. But parking can be iffy. Make sure to make a reservation.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area EVER! They have the most amazing and unique drinks, as well as such great food. Their drinks are a little on the pricier side but they're totally worth it. My personal favorites are the brisket and Dan Dan noodles for sure!

Yelp
The drinks are always amazing!!! Perfect for summer and have so many different options. It really elevates your meal at Sichuan Garden and has made this suburban spot a go-to destination! I would recommend getting a reservation in their upstairs bar!

Yelp
Delicious food & drinks, fun ambiance with a 90s nostalgia playlist. Service was attentive despite some staff shortages. Will have to check out the other seating arrangements!
