"Situated in the formerly industrial Baltic Triangle quarter, now the city’s hipster-central hub, the quirky Baltic Hotel is handy for waterfront attractions, plus close to the Camp and Furnace venue for live events.
This is one primarily for the night owls and people seeking plenty of ‘vibes’ with regular DJ sets and live music at weekends in The Parlour, plus next-day-recovery brunches (pre book for a discount). Alternatively, there’s an all-day-dining menu at the in-house pub, The Duck & Swagger.
There’s a range of contemporary rooms at different price points, some featuring music-motif extra touches, such as Marshall speaker mini-bars and vintage vinyl.
The surrounding area today strikes a balance between its gritty industrial past and hipster hang-out present with cool cafes and galleries amid the disused buildings. It may not be an obvious tourist hub but it’s one packed with local character.
Oh, and if you’re stopping coffee around the Baltic Quarter, then 92 Degrees is a local institution for the city’s best caffeine fix and home-roasted coffee.

The hotel was easy to find. Walking difference from Liverpool One. Loved the quirky decor. When we arrived we were told that the lift was out of order. We were on the top floor (6th floor). We were given a free bottle of chilled prosecco for the inconvenience. The room was lovely. Comfortable bed. Small issue with shower head but nothing to write home about. Would definitely stay again.

I didn’t go in the rooms so I can’t comment. However, I popped in and asked if I could get a coffee. Even though the bar was closed the lovely lady (I think her name was Leander) said she could make me one and let me sit in the restaurant. She was so polite and friendly a real asset to the venue. Nice to walk into a hotel and be greeted with a warm smile and someone who wants to genuinely help!

Utterly disappointed and shocked by this hotel, they had the nerve to cancel our wedding venue 1 month before the date due to not being able to work with our food budget, and no willing to work with us with any other options, all of this btw through a plain lame email (no calls, no face to face). since we booked with them til the last minute was a nightmare trying to contact with the person in charge of our event, terrible communication and a completely lack of professionalism.
Do not trust your special day with them
I would give zero star review if I could

Probably the best stay I have ever had thus far, beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, exceptional service. Room was very clean and well set up, very nice breakfast, staff were very polite, friendly and helpful, even the manager spent time with us each day offering insights and advice that was very helpful. I will definitely be booking this hotel again upon our return trips.

Just spent two nights at the Baltic Hotel which is situated in a really good location. City centre and the Docks are all a short distance walk away. |I stayed in room 53 which is located at the top of the hotel, not great that the lift was not working. I would have expected this to have been fixed by now having noticed the lift issue has been mentioned on previous reviews. The room key I was given has to be tapped/swiped three times on the corridor door as well as the room door which was bizarre. |The room was decent enough. Comfortable bed and enough room for me. The bathroom design was mad. The shower screen wasn’t big enough so everytime I had a shower the rest of the bathroom got flooded. The hand basin was also located in the bedroom rather than the bathroom. They could do with replacing the carpets which have seen better days (there’s a large stain at the foot of the bed. |All the staff I encountered were really pleasant and the hotel pub (duck & swagger) served a good pint at reasonable prices. |Breakfast was mainly good. Had the full English on the first morning which was lovely and had the breakfast bap on the second morning. Everything apart from the bap (dry!) was great. |In summary I enjoyed my stay at the Baltic but there is room for improvement.

The room we got was absolutely perfect for us. Large bathroom with walk in shower, spacious bedroom area and comfortable facilities, including a kettle, television and comfy sheets.
Only problem with the ervice was that we weren't sure how to operate the online ordering system thing, so I ended up going down to the desk in the middle of the night for a bottle of wine but it was no stress at all, customer service was amazing considering the time of night.
Absolutely amazing service and room, felt very looked after.

Stayed here last minuet after another place let us down. Really lovely people we had a laugh with the staff when they came to help us.
Had no problems with the room and breakfast was good too.
About a 15/20 minutes walk away from most things but generally not to bad.
And great value for rooms.
